SIRTee15: Oyatz really gave a good answer to the problem of Islam. The propagation of Islam with underlying violent and oppressive Arabic culture hasn't done much good for Islam.
That's the why the new king of Saudi has ordered the hadiths to be reviewed and rewritten. He said books that came 250 yrs after Islam cannot be regarded as a guide or valid. Actually, most of the Hadiths reflected the true pictures of life in the 7th century Arab Societies. The 7th Century Al-Hijaz, Arabia was a Desert with few Oasis towns and ,thus few opportunities to sustain thriving societies. Thus, many clans were in constant struggles (which are ofte violent) against their rivals/neighbours for the few available resources e.g water bodies& grazing grounds. Violence was freely used and was an acceptable means of settling scores or stamping their authorities against their rivals. The wealthy people , only made wealth through International Trade and Mecca was along the trade route. Prophet Muhammad was born in and grew-up in that Society. He also used such cultural means to operate. The problems crept in when,later-day over zealous Muslims elevated Prophet Muhammad to the Status of a Divine person whose actions were 100% perfect and MUST be emulated by all muslims , regardless of the era or places they live. |

muykem: Why is that terrorist and Islam cannot be separated? Do reasonable Muslims worried about Islamic terrorist spreading across the world? There are two inter-linked reasons; 1) Historical Origin of Islam: It originated in a culture where violence was very common and acceptable ways of life. 2) Inability of Muslims to accept and differentiate between the Divinity and Humanity of Prophet Muhammad. Certain actions and pronouncements of Prophet Muhammad were purely ,humanly deriven/inspired, thus aren't applicable to all cultures throughout all ages |

casualobserver: Although I neither support LP or PDP, I couldn’t care less what happens to Obanikoro. I live in Eti-osa and he is useless, you only hear from him every 4 years. I voted for him only because I was there to vote for Tinubu. Although my Pu is t one of those affected, I will not leave my house just to vote for Obanikoro.
I am just stating the obvious, don’t be like Obidients who refuse to see the obvious. If you have followed my electoral predictions I have been spot on.
The mathematics is not in favour of catching up with the LP fellow. The same fate that befell LP and PDP in the presidential election will befall both Banky and Koro. Their votes will be split and there are not enough votes at stake to catch the Guy, APc is not going to get all the votes, neither is PDP.
There are 40 polling units, the maximum number of voters per polling unit is 750. Therefore the total theoretical maximum votes at stake if all voters turn up is 30,000 to be split among at least 3 candidates. Obanikoro need to win with a majority over LP guy of 7,200, while Banky W needs to get 5,400 more votes than him. To get that sort of margin in a 3 horse race out of 30,000 votes at stake you need close to a 100% turn out. Never in the history of Nigerian elections at ANy level have we had 50% turn out talk less 100%. 50% turn out is only 15,000 voters and yet you need to get more than 7,200 and 5,400 more votes than the guy…..how? If you examine the figures you will realize that even in a 50% turn out, you will need about 90% of the votesto win.
LP voters may switch to Banky W but neither are switching to APC, APCs only hope is mobilizing their base to turn out but it won’t be enough. You are assuming too much. I never said APC will win, I only pointed out that there are APC machineries who will work for the party because they stand to gain something unlike most people who voted for LP (mostly ,out of anti-APC/anti-Tinubu sentiments) . Most supporters of LP won't even come out for the supplementary election |

casualobserver: The gap is too much to catch him. If they were APC or PDP strongholds then possibly but we are talking Eti-osa, considered the demographics of people who live there, there is no hope at best the votes will be split…still no hope. Plus who is motivated to come out and vote just for house of rep? If no be say them join them together for presidential elections would anyone even come out to vote for obanikoro and Banky W? You don't know what you are talking of. The are APC members who are real party members that have a lot to gain in the election. They will work very hard for the APC. Atta Achief rode on the wave of sympathy for Peter Obi which has largely fizzled out. |

Omoawoke: Enjoy the moment you have, even if you survive this tenor, you will definitely leave that place next election. Yorubas messed up in Lagos. Especially those misguided Genz that went to follow Elluppe propaganda to thumbprint LP. But eyes clear after they saw how they have been insulted by same Igbos they were supporting all over social media. They eventually lost Lagos governorship shamefully, there's no way LP can win any election again in southwest.
On a second thought, this man has done nothing wrong. Banky W is no better than him. It is not about what he does or not but election didn't hold in 30 polling units, so it wasn't concluded. Another election will be organized in the affected 30 polling units. |

ikpumbe: Stop being petty. Even River State results did not tally. There were descrepiances on votes This is NOT how to win a case in court. Peter Obi's Legal Team need to State: 1) The declared votes (which they are contesting) 2) The actual votes (which they are claiming to be the correct votes) . So, if there are discrepancies in Rivers State, the appropriate thing to do is to list the affected polling units , state the declared votes and what they feel should be the actual votes. In this ways, all figures can be easily reconciled to the satisfaction of all concerned. |

On another side, why did INEC chairman refused to release election materials to Obi's lawyer to scrutinized? Why did the PEPT say transmission of election results is not mandatory? Why did INEC upload blurry results into the irev? All these are evidences Tinubu didn't win. The funniest part is that, tinubu's lawyers are the ones who wrote the judgement to the PEPT to rule on. Gov Hope Uzodinma's case was totally different. The argument of Hope wasn't about whether there was rigging or not. He went to Court to challenged the right of INEC to exclude votes (from his LGAs), already declared at the Polling Units |

2. During the presidencial election, the server went off in the middle of the election, and people started snapping and posting their results on their social media handles. Since the server was down. The voters even madated inec staffs to upload it offline like that. Which they did. When the server was ON later the next day's those results started uploading themselves, and it talied with the once posted by people's on their social media. Which shows Peter obi on the lead.
Look at what happened in Lagos, rivers, even in the north.
3. After the election inec stubbornly formatted their bvas and denied LP some sensitive informations.

NB: There is a difference between a banter and a simple admonishment that a plaintiff ought to have done better with provision of strong evidence and witnesses. This banter of hers means "when they go low, I go low too" and that's a bit childish coming from a bench of a temple of justice which has a "blind woman" as a symbol. RockHard: The truth is bitter but it needs to be heard. Igbos don't have the temperament to govern a large, complex and diverse country like Nigeria. The way they're going about and handling Obi's loss demonstrates clearly that an Igbo presidency would likely end in chaos and at worst a civil war (like it happened during Ironsi's short stint as head of state).
They just simply lack the emotional and political intelligence to be saddled with such weighty responsibility. I doubt a more embittered and toxic set of people exists anywhere. Personally, I'll rather Nigeria breaks up than live under an Igbo presidency. Make everybody go their separate ways abeg. Their level of toxicity is too damn much.
