Most Nigerians are very gullible, thinking that political office holders are holding their offices on behalf of their Tribes/Religions when in reality it is just the office holders, their immediate family members and few close associate benefit from such offices.

Thank you 4 dat response. That guy is from a yoruba sub tribe if not yoruba.

There is nothing like NigerDelta. A region that Itsekiri, Ijaw, Urhobo, bini and Esan are at each other throat.

Ibibio and Efik are ever comfortable with the east. I think that group know the igbo have strong christian value and pose no threat to them in any form.

If Nigeria Break today they are the one group I can confidently say are with us. Rivers is going no where either.

The rest can get lost for all i care but Anioma to Igbanke are with us. Behold Biafra is born.
This is (possibly alcohol induced)pure fantasy taken to another dimension.

IGBOSON1:
^^^Of course i've known this all along!

One of the reasons you see them sucking up to Ben Ayade of Cross Rivers, and trying to get control of Rivers and Akwa Ibom states through the 'judicial' backdoor is to try and isolate Igbos in the South East! It's a replay of 1967-70 all over again, but this time they're employing the charm offensive!

One of their hopes is that if they can get these Niger Delta states onside, and deny Igboland/SE access to the sea, then we'll give
up the agitation! This is why you must have read on here some of them (both those claiming to be from the Niger Delta and those other ones from the other side of the Niger) gloating and insisting that Igboland is landlocked and that if we're leaving at all that we'll only be taking the 5 SE states with us.....effectively saying that we should forfeit the part of Igboland that Gowon and Awo carved into Rivers state in 1967!
Point of correction,Awolowo was NEVER the Head of state of Nigeria in 1967 (or at any other time) so he couldn't have carved out Rivers state.

One thing that Educated Illitrates and tribal bigots don't understand is that Business especailly Business Corporations and Public liability Companies have Business entity that's different from personal entity, thus they don't have tribes/ethnicity.
The Managing director/Chairman,founder or even the majority of the shareholders of a corporation or PLS (as opposed to small trading enterprises/sole proprietorships) may belong to a particular tribe but that doesn't mean the company belong to that tribe because in reality many people from diverse tribes and religions have shares in such big companies.
Biafra isn't a landlocked country.
We av' access to the sea,via Ukwa East,in Abia state.
Abia state Government, has proposed to construct seaport there.
Its 25Nautical miles,to the Atlantic Ocean,while the pretigeous Onne port,in Rivers state,is 40Nautical miles,to the Atlantic ocean.[/quot
e]
First,25 Nautical miles away from the borders of Abia will be in Akwa-Ibom/Cross River (depending on the direction) which ARE NOT in Biafra.
Secondly, Onne Port(which was built by Nigeria) is in Rivers State which is also NOT in Biafra.
If the South south States refuse to join Biafra(which they have variously denounced),then Biafrea will be COMPLETELY sorronded by Nigeria.

Kabba people,Ijumu,Oworo,Yagba and other Okun sub-ethnic group are proudly Yorubas(some even say, they are the pures/earliest yorubas)...Even Ogori-Mangogo LGA who say their are different ethnic groups still speak Yoruba and bear Yoruba names.
The Igalas who are the majority tribe in Kogi are non-Yoruba but their language is very similar to Yoruba (Yoruba-Itsekiri-Igala descended from the same stock, hence they are called Yoruboid gruoup of languages)

A man would just sit down in his house in bourdillon, ikoyi and start imposing candidates on other states. Let the Kogi people decides, Faleke can't be representing people of lagos and later come to Kogi to rule the people of Kogi state, When we have competent people that are born and brought in the state that can govern.

Is it possible for a Kogi lawmaker to come down to lagos and rule?
Faleke is an indigene of Kogi State that came to Lagos and was well accepted that he became a LG Chairman and later a house of rep member.
Hatred for (or jeolosy of) Tinubu is not necessarily the position of the law.
Health › Re: Health Workers Petition Buhari Over Appointments To Favour Doctors by oyatz(m): 9:06pm On Nov 27, 2015
The clamour by these people that DOCTORS shouldn't be appointed as Ministers of Health,Labour and Productivity and/or Permanent secretary in the Ministry of Health so as not to offend the 'sensiblity and feelings' of JOHESU sound puerile.
Neither Doctors nor allied health workers should be discriminated against.Once a person meet the criteria for being appointed into an office,Merit should be the only factor that should determine who gets what.
Health › Re: Health Workers Petition Buhari Over Appointments To Favour Doctors by oyatz(m): 1:12am On Nov 27, 2015
evanscheck:
Health workers, excluding medical doctors, under the aegis of the Joint Health Sector Unions (JOHESU) and Assembly of Healthcare Professional Association (AHPA) have petitioned President Muhammad Buhari over lope-sided appointments in the Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH) even as they among other things asked for urgent balance in appointments in the interest of peace.

The health workers in a letter to Buhari jointly signed by Chairman JOHESU, Comrade Jay Josiah, and Chairman APHA, Dr. Godswill C. Okara, titled “Appraising Appointments In The Federal Ministry Of Health” noted: “… While Nigeria appears to be on course for a great future, we are worried that the ever-boiling Health Sector appears to be headed for more heated discourse especially against the background of recent appointments in the leadership strata of the Federal Ministry of Health.

“… Your Excellency, the appointment of two Medical Doctors as Ministers in Charge of the Federal Ministry of Health equaled the precedence of former President Goodluck Jonathan, GCFR, which unfortunately catalyzed unprecedented dislocation of the component elements of the Health Sector in that dispensation.

“The only ameliorating balm in that discourse (the Old Jonathan Order) was that the Permanent Secretary in Charge of the Federal Ministry of Health were always administrators or non-care providers. Today even that has been taken away because the new Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Health is also a traditional strong advocate of the interests of only her Medical Doctor colleagues from her time as a Permanent Secretary in the office of the Head of Service of the Federation.

“To compound the woes of all other health workers apart from Doctors which we represent, the Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity which ordinarily should arbitrate over our welfare demands which the hegemony of Doctors over-bearing leadership truncates at the Federal Ministry of Health is now being headed by yet another Medical Doctor, Dr. Chris Ngige. The obvious fallout of this dangerous but unprecedented structure against the professional destinies of all health workers apart from Doctors can be summarized in the reflected phraseology-calamitous future expectations.

“For a Health Sector where Doctors hitherto reduced a supposed Federal Ministry of Health to a Ministry of Doctor to now be officially and legitimized as home to only Doctors who constitute less than 5% of the workforce at the detriment of the majority of over 95% in our humble opinion Your Excellency, appears to epitomise neglects of the feelings of the gross majority of health workers and will aggravate the volatility in the sector instead of abating it.”

The health workers alleged that the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) is already reaping the expected fruits of the whirlwind of benevolent appointments. Thet wrote: “On Friday, November 13, 2015 the Hon. Minister of Health, Prof. Issac Adewole visited the NMA Secretariat in Abuja where he met both the Nigeria Medical Association President, Dr. Kayode Obembe and National Assocaition of Resident Doctors (NARD) President, Dr. Muhammed Askira.”

JOHESU and AHPA alleged that the Minister of Health was reported to have assured his colleagues to be patient as he would actualize these demands, which included:
*Preservation of the status quo ante in the unskewed appointments in board constitution and membership of the 55 Federal Health Institutions.
*Imposing the Yayale Ahmed Panel report, which only the NMA favours in the Health Sector. This is at a time other health workers are challenging and infact seeking quashing of this report at the National Industrial Court of Nigeria (NICN). Today we are aware the Health Minister and Labour Minister are raising legal teams to join forces against us at the NICN.
*Implementing the agenda of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) through the National Health Act. The Federal Ministry of Health has already set up committees and structures made up exclusively of only Doctors as usual.
*Imposing relativity/skipping for Doctors on the Federal Health Institutions even when other health professionals who got National Industrial Court of Nigeria (NICN) judgments in their favour since 2010 have not been paid by some Chief Medical Director (CMDs) in the Federal Health Institutions (FHIs).

*Exclusive overseas training for Medical Doctors through improved residency programmes.
*Designing new welfare schemes for Corper Doctors.
*Introduction of pension and gratuity for Resident Doctors
*Perfecting domination of Doctors in the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS)
*Payment of Doctor-University Lecturers with the Consolidated Medical Salary Scale (CONMESS) and privileges.
*Recognition of Doctor’s Postgraduate Fellowship over Ph.D in their careers as academics.
These JOHESU people never cease to amuse me shaa. Can't they argue their cases without making reference to DOCTORS?
Don't they know that people dont just hand over political power(which these ministerial appointements represent) to you simply because you regularly issues 'Press statement and read communique'?

According to the supreme Court, apc is standing for election not the individual ameachi vs omehia.

Therefore, the election will go on as planned, with apc deputy standing for the party. ..

Apc can't replace Audu because supplementary election is not a full fledged election
The election will be cancelled and another one ordered with APC being given the opportunity to field a new governorship candidate

all these things will not help health sector. Even in the teaching hospital, every department has side lab. what u see in most private hospital are simply side lab. they dont do most test especially microbiology and chemical pathology.
those test are sent to bigger lab in town.
u dont expect a doctor to send for pregnancy test or malaria test out of the hospital while the patient is dying or that may cause delays

One of the issues that will lead to calls for a review and an ammendment of the MLSCN Act is the attempt to implent ALL its provisions especially the section which give that Council the right to inspect and accredit Medical Laboratories which like all other health facilities are in different categories and manned by multiple and different professionals.

Political parties like every other organization have teething problems. The PDP should establish a political/economic research commitee of experts in Agriculture,Health, infrastructure concession and Taxation to produce blue prints that can develop Nigeria(as a short development model) and the party can then use it to appeal to the Nigerian electorates on why they should be give a chance to come back and not about boasting on how to recapture power.
