First , we need to understand that societal approval of sexual behaviours and the concepts of morality in general varies from generation to generation and from places to places.

1) The world views of most Hausa-Fulanis are quite different from that of the Southerners.

Most Hausa-Fulanis strongly believe in FATE, that what will be will eventually be, thus they easily accept what comes their ways. They aren't driven by strong desires to effect changes through drastic measures like leaving their loved ones behind and traveling to hustle among strange cultures of Europe/USA,Canada and other parts of the world which will necessitate dropping/changing some of their cultural values in order to blend with the culture of their host countries.


2) Few educated and westernized Northerners travel abroad but mostly to study and immediately after their studies, they return to their homelands to take-up prime Gov't Jobs and wait patiently for 10-15 years to become the bosses in Public Service.

His petitions is not saying that he won the election, rather he is talking about disqualifying Tinubu, cancelling the votes scored by the APC and he should be declared the winner based on the remaining results or in the alternative, INEC should conduct another election in which Tinubu won't participate.


These prayers will be thrown out for lack of merits in Law.

Obi has very little to gain now by entering into Aso rock, but everything to lose. Contesting the election alone has made him the most respected Nigerian and one of the greatest that ever lived. However, to rule Nigeria in its current state of total decay will destroy Obi's impeccable reputation. He is a smart man and knows that already. As for Tinubu, he has lost. There is very little chance of him coming out of this a better man. He already has his fate sealed and a place in the hall of shame, posterity wise.

The case of Hope Uzodimma raised a very fundamental question: does INEC have the right to cancel the results from a polling unit already declared and signed by the Presiding Officers at such polling units?

The Supreme Court rightly ruled that INEC doesn't have that power.

The then Gov of Imo State,Emeka Ihedioha under rated Uzodimma's petition , otherwise he should have filed a cross-petition that Hope Uzodimma didn't score legitimate votes.

In conclusion:; the Supreme Court did the right thing by ruling that INEC lacked the powers to cancel the results from the over 300 polling units.
