It is understandable when there is a good reason for doing that, but when you do that just because Obi won Lagos or because of mere propaganda then you should expect the worst from the people, this time it might lead to tribal unrest because your people in other states will bear the consequences. If you guys really know the demage you are causing your fellow Yoruba in other people's state, you won't even go near the thing you are doing now. Believe me even if the governor should come up with a good reason to revoke people's land in this present time, people will till see it as the wickedness you guys have in mind against non indigenes, beside you can't collect one person land and you now decided to spear that of a man from Ogun just because he is a Yoruba man, the fact still remains that a man from Ogun is also a non indigene. You guys just have to be careful with your actions.
You are crying foul when none exist.

There is no law that has been enacted but you are already enumerating on the side effects and target of the fixated law.

However, LASG can and should protect her indigenes for instance, the descendants of Mosan ,Okunola and Ipaja whose ancestral lands were acquired to build Gowon Estate , Shagari Estate and Jakande Estate can be identified and their children placed on Scholarships. The LSPDC in partnership with PPP can redevelop some of these places and give them some blocks after usage for 30years.

The LASG protecting the interests of their indigenes doesn't have to be from other people.

The State has a right to protect their indigenes and cultural heritage.

When 99years reach, tell your governor to collect it back.
The Government can even revoke it today if there is an overriding PUBLIC interest.

I hope you know that Ikorodu Road, Funsho Williams Avenue, many of the Jakande Estates, Stadia and many Public Monuments were built on the Ancestral Family lands (including Ancestral Compounds) of certain people?

I remember around 1989/1990 some people made a riot to prevent the construction of the road from Iyana-Ipaja to Idimu because the construction would pass through a sacred burial ground in which their ancestors were buried ,including a revered king.

Many of the older indigenes were emotional and shed tears when Gov Raji Rasaki came to the areas with 'Godogodo Soldiers' to whip the protesting Villagers and ordered bulldozers to level the place up.

In the UK, the settled Indians don't advocate for abolishment of the British Monarchy or House of Lords. I haven't seen a British Indian in the UK who doesn't speak English or denigrate the British Culture.

The interests of British Citizens are well protected e.g the Tuition Fees of British Citizens are lower than Non-Citizens.

In Nigeria, Anambra and Abia States have once sacked non-indigenes in their State Civil Service.

There was no single non-indigenes in the Administration of Peter Obi as Governor of Anambra State.

Nigerians ,Private Sector,State and FG should rally round Innoson and help to produce adequate number of affordable vehicles for the country.

Innoson should also liase with Iron & Steel Manufacturers in Nigeria to produce suitable alloys that can replace imported components of the vehicles to drive down the prices so that average Nigerians can afford them.

Tinubu is not an indigene of Lagos state, same as FFK and Bayo Onagugaraga.

An indigene of Ogun state residing in Lagos is like an indigene of Sokoto or Abia residing in Lagos. If the indigenes of Lagos were protected, Tinubu would not have migrated from Iragbiji to displace and lord over the indigenes of Lagos.
The Government of Lagos will determine who is an indigene of Lagos and who is not.

Reno Omokiri is talking about indigenous rights in America and Canada, has he ever heard of anyone saying 'one America' or 'one Canada'? They dont say that because no such thing exists, their unity is based give and take

But it is only in Nigeria that people will be shouting 'one Nigeria' from morning till night but will be angry when you call Lagos no mans land. One Nigeria means that we all own the land

But you shout 'one Nigeria' and tell me the land belongs to you? If you own your land and I own my land, where then is one Nigeria? On the moon? Let us all agree that 'one Nigeria' is a fraud

Nothing unusual in this case.

If you have been following the Tribunal sittings, you will see that the Petitioners have no strong cases.

The PDP aren't bringing any evidence of an alternative results to show they 'won' rather they are trying to prove that the conduct of the election is wrong (The Tribunal will ask them to show how this infractions affect the overall results which they aren't showing)

The LP appear more fixated on how to disqualify Tinubu and the claim that the the conduct of election violated the electoral acts.

The NLC leader was beaming with smiles.

Seems he enjoyed his presence in the corridors of power so much grin

Supporters of the strike will be fuming when they wake up in the morning and see photos of him playing 'best friends' with the 'APC enemy'.

I've been in some of these places. Once you enter, the environment and the pampering that goes on will reset your radical plans wink

The hatchet job the APC guys did on him would have made Soviet Union KGB proud.

First, they attacked him in the media claiming he was working for the Labour Party.

Then, they circulated pictures of him standing with Mr Obi campaigning.

Once the guy was cornered and weak, they used an old guard of the labour union (Oshiomole) to invite him to the corridors of power for 'negotiations '.

They got him to renounce the strike.

They made sure he was comfortable in the environment and had him photographed laughing and being chummy with them.

Then they circulated the photos to the media, thereby damaging his standing in the eyes of the the most ardent supporters of a strike.

The man is probably a good upright person, but he was rather naive. Optics are very important. He should never have allowed himself photographed laughing and being chummy with APC guys. Whatever deal he agreed to behind close doors, he needed to be captured in photos in a mood that reflects that of his supporters i.e anger or, at least, frustration.

I tell you, these Tinubu boys will use all the tricks in the books to deal with their perceived enemies. It would be done so craftly that their targets would be down long before they knew what hit them.

Mr Tinubu's people are streetwise. Lagos street wise o. I suspect they are ready to go dirty if they plead with you and you refuse.
You are very naive if you think these Labour Leaders are part of the so-called Masses or that they are far from the corridors of powers.

Mike Ajaero was the former Trade Union Leader of Electricity Workers Union and one time fractional Chairman of the NLC whose faction was hurriedly recognized by the Buhar's Administration when the Ayyuba Waba authentic NLC Leadership were becoming too 'troublesome'

This was how some of the Obidents thought Lamidi Apapa, a former Trade Union Leader in the Oil &Gas Sector is a poor man!

None of these leaders of the Labour Union is a poor man and the NLC President is not new to the corridors of powers.

Bros, you have no right to tell anybody let alone any ethnic group what to do or how to behave.

Ikwerre speak their language and practice their culture, that some Igbo clans may under part of this doesn't change anything.

Ethnic groups are MAN-MADE construct and except in sparsely populated deserts, it is often difficult to determine where one ethnic group ends and where another start. There are always areas of overlap.

Travel to other parts of the world or read widely to understand that this is a worldwide phenomenon.

The Ikwerre people speak Ikwerre language (which has about 5 dialects ) and practice their Tradition.

Some Igbo clans speak dialects that may be partially mutually intelligible with the Ikwerre Language while other Igbo clans may not hear at all...this only show that some Igbo clans and Ikwerre may be related but not necessarily mean that Ikwerre is part of the Igbo ethnic group or not.

Examples of this nature abound all over the world e.g France & Navarra, Portugal & Spain, Austria & Germany, ,Urhobo & Isoko, Efik & Ibiobio, Yoruba & Ogori/Mangogo etc

What is wrong with Ikwerre is Greed and nothng else.
If you bother to be objective and read History, you will see that they have been claiming distinct identity before oil and the civil war.

1958- Ikwerre presented memo to the Willinkins Commission to look into the fears of the Minorities.

1963- Ogbakwor Ikwerre formed as an Umbrella Body of the Ikwerre

1964: Rumuobasi declaration which declared Ikwerre as being distinct from Igbo or Ijaw or Ogoni.

All the above show that the Ikwerre have been clamouring for recognization as a distinct ethnic group long before the civil war

What wrong impression? You're defending this gross injustice because you're a yorubaman and you think it benefits you.

Minimum wage is uniform across Nigeria but fuel will be cheapest in SW?!

Do you know the multiplier effect of having fuel cheap in the SW and expensive in other parts of Nigeria? That extra 57 naira on each litre would amount to hundreds of billions lost in other parts of Nigeria, particularly NE. It will lead to further job losses in those regions. Lead to things being more expensive there than in SW. It will also lead to massive relocation of people from the disadvantaged states to the SW. Are you willing to accept that huge influx? Won't you guys start feeling insecure as you're already doing with Igbos and Hausas?

You can't pay same minimum wage and sell fuel cheaper in SW. Never!
Minimum wages are different from States to States.

With deregulation, Marketers can fix their own prices.

Imagine fuel cheaper in Ekiti state that has no drop of oil and also landlocked but more expensive in Delta and Akwa Ibom that are major oil producing states and also coastalhuhhuh

Imagine selling fuel at 500 in Oyo state but 540 in Kano and 557 in Maiduguiri?

Bros, the Petrol being consumed in Nigeria are NOT from the Niger Delta but imported.

Even that template is NOT going to work because pump prices are determined by different factors and pump prices are not always the same throughout the same State e.g the prices of Petrol in Akure are slightly different from the prices in Ilaje,Igbokoda or Araromi, yet all are in Ondo State.
