As we can see, Lagos State is on fire because Sanwo Olu, a Tinubu stooge, does not want to lose. Sanwo Olu forced ethnic division to stand a chance at reelection, and to hold on to Tinubu's empire.

Buhari must be careful at this point. And make sure power goes to the rightful winner- Peter Obi. Else there would be no Nigeria if Tinubu is sworn in.

There's one thing people don't seems to understand about Labour party & the Obidients movement.
Obidients members are not necessarily members of Labour party. Obidients members are drawn from various interest groups & from various political parties that want a change from the status quo. Peter Obi happen to be the face of the genuine change.

Obidients are not interested who becomes what in the state level but they're only interested on who leads Nigeria.
If you understand this you'll know that anybody with character, capacity & commitment can be adopted by this movement in the future to vie for the office of the president.

The relocation of all the oil and gas companies back to niger delta which was relocated to Lagos using a military decree 6 towards the end of the Civil War.

The movement or split of the federal government bodies ,Non ministerial departments like NIMASA NMA etc to all parts of the country as this would stop igbos coming to Lagos for different import related permits.

The removal of sea ports from the exclusive list of the Constitution, infant the removal of everything in the exclusive list to give other parts of the country some leverage to open up their maritime economy.

The opening up of the telecommunications space such that the east does not need to gets its internet from Lagos

The rights to states to impose tariff on goods not manufactured in their regions or states.

1) Lagos has always been Yorubaland, so need to claim it.

2) Nigeria is NOT under Military rule.
Oil & Gas companies, like other companies can site their Headquarters anywhere they like.

3) The Foreign Missions of each Country operating in Nigeria have their Embassies in the FCT, they are at liberty to operate consular services anywhere they like.

4) In the present dispensation, States can build Seaports and Int'l Airports.
Lagos built Lekki DeepSea Port and A/Ibom has been building Ibaka DeepSea Port for more than 12 years with money appropriated for it in their yearly State Budgets

5) State can collect Consumption Taxes within their Territories but ONLY the Nigeria Customs Service can collect Import and Export Tarrif.


Instead of wailing over Lagos, I think you should work with other like minds to develop your States to actualize their true potentials.

Every State have it's areas of comparative and competitive advantages.

There is a need to draw attention to the difference between the two families.

1) First, there is no estimated cost for all the things he said he wants to do.

I don't know if you have built your own house but if you ask anyone who has built a house before, that what is the first thing to consider if you want to build your house and he will tell you...the COST.

2) After establishing the cost, he didn't match each project with expected funding e.g amount to be realized from taxation on Hotels, PAYE, Tenement rates etc

3) It seems the man assume that the Governor is like a Military Dictator or an Emperor who can decree anything anyhow and anywhere.
Does he thinks about the relevant laws guilding some of these proposed 'projects' and the avalanche of lawsuits against the State that will follow such implementations?

If the labour party can redefine party politics in Nigeria by;

1) Embark on aggressive membership drive to include majority of the Youths accross regional, religious and ethnic lines.
2) Encourage all workers to join the party and see it as their own,including all Okada riders, NURTW, NUJ, ASUU,NBA and the masses.
The masses are more than the elites.
3) Ensure that members pay monthly dues to run the party and no single individual is financing the party, thus nobody is too strong within the party.
4) Make their nomination fees a multiple of the minimum wage e.g 5 times the Minimum Wage.
5) Regularly meet every month to brainstorm on the problems facing the country and proffer solutions to it.
