OneCandleAway:He is mulit-tribal: Yoruba+ Edo + Igbo (just like Davido) |
Thank God ,Peter Obi didn't win. Nigeria really dodged a bullet! *NADECO was against Abacha Junta , they did NOT attack any Tribe, so what this man is saying is falsifying history as recent as 30 years ago. |
kk2027:So ,where did you then keep claiming that Peter Obi win, if there was no election? Where did you get the 13 millions that voted against the APC. In one breath, you are quick to use results from the Feb-25 election to claim a non-existent mandate for Peter Obi and in another breath, you are saying that there was no election. |
The opinion polls were restricted to educated elites through telephone interviews. They didn't include people in the rural areas where there are no telephone service or internet, they didn't include Farmers, Area Boys, Market women, old people and Herdsmen, which form a significant chunk of the electorates. |
naijapips04:Tinubu did NOT instigate Labour party. Peter Obi was encouraged by inexperienced 'Tweeter Politicians' to take a calculated risk on the wrong assumptions that the Muslim voting block will be splitter , paving ways for Peter Obi's victory especially with the background poor performance of the Buhari's Administration. Unfortunately, religious considerations aren't enough to win presidential election in a very big and diversified country like Nigeria |
SenatePresdo:Do you people think deeply at all? Did you ask for the total number of civil servants in LASG and the cost implications of 100% increase in Salaries vis-a-vis the Total Budget for recurrent expenditure for 2023? |
manutdrichie:And Supplementary Budget is done on D-one in Office? GRV should first run for Local Government Chairmanship, then Commissioner before becoming a Governor. He is 50% enthusiasm,45% emotion and 5% experience |
DeJoeee:If you take time to read this manifesto with an open mind, you will see deep seated ignorance. 1) First, there is no estimated cost for all the things he said he wants to do. I don't know if you have built your own house but if you ask anyone who has built a house before, that what is the first thing to consider if you want to build your house and he will tell you...the COST. 2) After establishing the cost, he didn't match each project with expected funding e.g amount to be realized from taxation on Hotels, PAYE, Tenement rates etc 3) It seems the man assume that the Governor is like a Military Dictator or an Emperor who can decree anything anyhow and anywhere. Does he thinks about the relevant laws guilding some of these proposed 'projects' and the avalanche of lawsuits against the State that will follow such implementations? In summary, GRV exude youthful zeal but little experience in governance. |
You are 100% correct. However, I think Peter Obi knows that he may not win in 2023 but will be a force to be reckoned with come 2027. |
The presidential election is NOT an inter-tribal contest. The Labour party won in far away Nassarawa State which is closer to the North but lost in Akwa-Ibom State, whose people are culturally, genetically and Geographically related and closer to the Igbos |
OGHENAOGIE:It is NOT going to happen overnight but gradually...it is possible. If ordinary people are given Labour Party tickets to contest and people rally round them to win, it will inspire other people to troop to the LP |
Zincfingers:Bross, never say such things anymore, Nigeria is fast changing. If the labour party can redefine party politics in Nigeria by; 1) Embark on aggressive membership drive to include majority of the Youths accross regional, religious and ethnic lines. 2) Encourage all workers to join the party and see it as their own, including all Okada riders, NURTW, NUJ, ASUU,NBA and the masses. The masses are more than the elites. 3) Ensure that members pay monthly dues to run the party and no single individual is financing the party, thus nobody is too strong within the party. 4) Make their nomination fees a multiple of the minimum wage e.g 5 times the Minimum Wage. 5) Regularly meet every month to brainstorm on the problems facing the country and proffer solutions to it. |
OGHENAOGIE:. If Peter Obi get it right, the Labour party may upstage the PDP as the leading opposition party |
justified007:They may be rigging for Atiku but Buhari's style of Administration especially the ill-motivated Naira redesign and scarcity and the artificial fuel scarcity on the eve of the election had made it very difficult to market the APC to the electorates, the only saving grace for the APC was the fractionalization of the opposition |
Atiku actually tried and he got block votes from the core North winning eight out of thirteen States of NW+ NE. The division of the opposition into PDP,LP,NNPP and G-5 made it very difficult to win. The Labour party maximally exploit the Muslim-muslim ticket controversy to steal the Christian voters who traditionally always prefer the PDP to APC...Peter Obi just poured sand-sand for Atiku's garri. |
Shalommy:In certain cultures in some parts of Africa, prospective brides are expected to be virgins and certificates may be issued to those who are virgin, to be presented to their grooms. The bride-price and even affection showered on such virgin brides are higher than non-virgin brides. Most Nigerian tribes used to practice similar cultures in the past but such practices started fading away from 1950s and became almost non-existent from 1980 downwards. I still witnessed residues of such cultural practices among the fulanis in 1999. |
Zonefree:Who are the people that disflower Nigerian girls? Are the not Nigerian men? The truth is that Nigerians (men and women) no longer believe in chastity till marriage and have now fully embraced pre-marital sex and it will be hypocritical blaming the girls alone. When you want to judge a girl/boy, it should be against the prevailing practice/norms in their SOCIETY at that point in TIME. |
kettykin:Why do you think Gbadebo quickly deleted this tweet? People should be mindful of what they write on the internet, it may come back to hurt them later. |
Spy360:Election took place in 176,000 polling units across Nigeria. If the Petitioner are able to prove with EVIDENCE that there were irregularities in some polling units, the Tribunal may cancel the results of such polling units, deduct the results from the total results and check the remaining results; 1) If after such deductions, the votes of Peter Obi is the highest and he secure 25% in 25 States ,he will be declared winner. 2) If after deductions of such polling units, Tinubu still maintain the highest votes and 25% across 29 States, he will remain the winner. *Note: The APC are also preparing cross petition to challenge the results credited to the Labour party in the S/East. |
00FFT00:The announcement was done after collation of all the results from the 37 States on Tuesday 28th March,2023, a whole 72 hrs after the election...how was this hurriedly done? |
zinaunreal:Courts don't work like that. If you tell the court that they should declare you the winner, they will ask you to list the polling units where you won. |
kk2027:So how did you see the results? Can you name the 25 States where Peter Obi had 25% of the votes cast? |
Yamiriflathead:. Please stop all these ethnic banters and grow-up. |
kk2027:He won ,based on which results? |
Fearyourcreator:No figures, just pure emotion. They have been programmed to believe that anybody who wins apart from Peter Obi must have rigged. |
zinaunreal:Mention three States in the S/West, N/west and N/East where you think Obi got up to 25% but was robbed. |
zinaunreal:1) The election took place in 176,000 polling units. Supporters of Peter Obi were circulating results and events (some of which were clearly fake and manipulated/old videos) in 30-50 polling units and concluded they have won. 2) Peter Obi could easily get 25% in the 11 States of the SE/SS plus Lagos, Benue, Taraba,Plateau,Nassarawa States, all of which have large Christian populations. |
zinaunreal:And APC was defeated in their Traditional strongholds of Lagos, Osun, Yobe and the KKK States? And the National Chairman and the Campaign DG of the APC both lost in their States? Obi performed poorly outside Christian dominated areas. |
kk2027:Check the demographic structure of Lagos, Anuja and Rivers State ---> significant Christian populations. |
Karlifate:What you posted was a picture and I have seen it years ago. Atiku is now much older than he was here. |
Karlifate:This picture is as old as Galilee. |
kk2027:Obi performed poorly outside Christian dominated areas. The massive campaign of calumny against Tinubu and exploitation of the Muslim-Muslim tickets by the supporters of Peter Obi worked on some Youths and Christians. This + Igbo voters was what pushed Peter Obi so far. |
