Honeydenz:

Lol, I won't answer you Mr punctuation error judge. I hope you know there's what we call 'typing error'? Additionally, am a science student and not an English graduate. However, 100 of your miserable species combined can't stand me in spoken English. Idiot!
If you were patient enough to take to his advice, you would not have written ‘am’ in place of I’m. So, you mean that you being a Science student and not an ‘English graduate’ excludes you from typing correctly, is that? Take time to ‘upgrade yourself’ cause someday, your inability to write correctly as a graduate could deprive you of some things. Peace.

that is why Nigeria is not progressing as a nation because of the words "mind your business" or "face your work. " you will someone embezzling money or doing wrong things, what people will say is mind your own business. the question I always ask is for how long are we going to keep our minding our business when things are not done properly. unfortunately most people that are saying mind your own business, can not happen such an abomination acts to within their families.
Exactly! For long do we keep ‘minding our business’? Minding our business at the detriment of loosing our minds, this makes me very unhappy

My dear, it appears many are doing it, would do it or have done it in the past.

It's not like the the OP is just a friend of the boy. But a close blood relative of the boy and the girl.

These comments give you an idea of the moral decadence of these times we live in. When everyone claims to be either a pastor or a Mallam.

In traditional society it's a great taboo that has to be atoned for. But they say tradition is primitive.

I guess knacking one's first cousin and everyone looking the other way most be civilization and modernity then. shocked
I really am short of words of such comments. Imagine if such incestuous relationship leads to pregnancy, is the world not at danger? People need to stop that attitude of knowing right from wrong yet turning a blind eye to it. Those comments show how rotten our society has turn out.

I’m really surprised reading comments like ‘Whats your business, mind your business, face your work”! Really?? He’s sleeping with his cousin and y’all sees nothing bad in that? How do we neglect something this grievous? Haba! It’s best not to comment than typing things like that, it’s very bad

I am.sure the guy is also a God fearing guy , very sure.
Let’s wait for her response and hear her out

There is this guy that is very close to me, he calls me often, but has never asked me out.

I don't know his house, he doesn't know mine, he has never taken me out on a date but does more than enough for me.

What should I do? Because other suitors are coming and I like him.

My dear, many a-times seeking opinions on here can compound your situation as different people give their advices the way they see it. It is left to know to observe the opinions well and get what you want. You are not getting any younger, suitors are coming.

That's wrong move...

He is only studying her, he is a cool, calm and caring guy, he just want to be sure of what he wants before the final move..as such, she too also needs to study him...those kind of guys can spend the whole world without nothing in return, if she is not what they want , he will leave her, that's the main reason he is not asking anything.

Need I say that what I told her to do is 100% correct. A woman must be proactive. Of course the guy likes her and she knows it, and she also knows that there are tons of them out there asking her out. She loves the guy and wishes he could make a move so she can face him alone. If the closeness is still fresh, then she can do away with my advice but if it’s like 2 years or more, she should go on and ask that question. That ain’t no shooting shot, it’s simply knowing the guy’s intentions. She’s not getting any younger

Yes I know he is studying her but delay is dangerous. If he has been ‘studying her’ for over two years now and still not sure of her, what’s the point? She can heed my advice if this closeness has been up for a very long time. I see no wrong in doing that.
Romance / Re: He Gives Me Anything I Want, Calls Me Frequently But Has Never Asked Me Out by Oyindaberry(f): 10:20pm On Mar 13, 2020
Do not ask him out! In this part of the world, men see that like you’re cheap; not all of them understands. I’ll advise you to chat him up and ask him why he’s been kind and all over you. If he’s interested in you, he’ll be able to read in between the lines and tell you wassup. This would determine your next move.

I was in a similar situation, though gainfully employed and as a gentleman I decided to get married to her.
I thought that marriage would help to change her but for the past several years I have not had peace of mind in the marriage. My family members hardly visit my house, she insults everyone and ready to fight me at anytime, nags me to hell.
I had to resort to a side chic who treats me like a king but I can't marry her, my attempt at seeking divorce brought about the intervention of my religious leaders to whom she promised to change but it didn't last long. The kids are growing and all I did was just to learn to ignore her antics, with hindsight, I would have had the baby (abortion is a NO for me) and damn whatever anyone would say and provide enough money for the baby's upkeep and we continue to nurture the baby as single parents.

Young man, you are on your way to experience the hell I have had to live with since I took the decision to marry my wife, but though I keep praying and hoping that she will change and become the kind of woman I sought undecided
So sorry about your plight, there’s no situation prayer cannot turn around. Keep the hope alive

Let them keep trying to prove you wrong, it doesn’t dispute the fact that age is nothing but a number.

I dnt know why successful people visit their hometown for what exactly? To show off?
You will see all these abroad returnees visiting village nd i be wondering for what exactly?
My mum never allowed her children to visit her hometown even when my grandpa died nd i was mad that i never knew my grandpa b4 his death nd she explained to me the reason behind it nd gave me examples of some that visited their hometown nd are regretting till nw!! When you hear stories about village people you will fear them honestly!!
Babe, forget this thing o. Village ppl are everywhere, I once heard that they can reach anyone anywhere in the world as long as air is there. I am not against going to the village, but going to the village to show off attracts the negative eyes. I am an early 90’s babe, my parents are from the same state and even the same LGA; they took us home every December during my formative years to spend time with our grandparents and every other member of their family. Nothing happened to us, we didn’t die. We’re all alive today by God’s grace. I last visited my hometown in 2013 when I lost my grandmother. I know that some villages have their own evil but don’t dissuade the public from visiting their roots. We all originated from somewhere, we didn’t drop from the skies. Just pray always that village ppl don’t see your matter to reason. Those ppl doing well abroad that they use ‘juju to draw them’ home nko? Did they visit their village?? Just be watchful and pray. Live your life on the low.
P.S : Social media is another village square gathering for village ppl just kidding. ✌️
