I can only imagine the number of haggard old men and women that will stand up to oppose a move by any sane human who try to oppose such a dreadful and evil practice. Most of these things are not culture, it was started by somebody with mental issues but transferred to people around them who also transferred them to successive generations claiming "it's our way of life". To imagine the level of crime many people committed just to have a BBM and "ping". I just read your response and from what I read, your case will involve alot of risk and sacrifice. Even part time nowadays in most universities looks like full time. I have even seen situations where full time and part time are even arguing over venues for lectures all because they are running the full-time alongside part-time. Strikes and other academic disruptions have made it very difficult to run part time education. No matter which programme you adopt, u must have someone running your business for you. That's where the risk comes in. Find out about online foreign education from reputable universities. I heard it is very good but I have never done it before.

Who will approve the license for the guns when the federal govt has illegally usurped the power to grant licenses? Will this governor continue to collect security vote when the people continue providing security for themselves? Why can't the state governor use the security vote to buy these arms and supply them to his people to help them defend themselves? The govt and security agencies always go after individual with illegally acquired arms but when a governor like this supply arms to his people himself, the blame will not be on the people but the state govt. In all, learn to defend yourself irrespective of failed govt at all levels.

You can't separate cultism from Nigerian political parties, be it APC, PDP or others. They are all affiliated to one cult or the other. You will be deceiving yourself if you think that these politicians are protected only by the military, DSS, Police, NSCDC or others, the cult groups are also in the crowd or behind the scene making sure nothing happens to their members\affiliates when the "legal\govt protection" teams fail.

When u allow politicians to run the military, the military which is supposed to be a professional entity, will start exhibiting behaviours like that of the civilian govt\politicians. Nigerian military needs overhauling, everyone from the rank of a Lt. Colonel and above needs to be fired for a rebuilding to commence.

Why not look for a part in a particular product and highly develop it to top quality? Imagine if Nigeria is supplying all the top quality tyres in toyota, BMW, Benz, nissan, lexus, volkswagen and others, do u know what that will mean to the Nigerian economy? Over 70percent of all the chips used in phones, cars and many other products are made by one company in Taiwan. Nigeria can copy from that.

Those killing or destroying us are always from within us and live with us, not strangers. This is a governor, sacrificing his people on the altar of federal politics. He, just like Gov Obaseki of Edo state and others feel that if they go against these killer herdsmen, their political career at the federal level will die, they will only be relegated to local state politics.
