czarina:I already knew u will resort to abuse. U have nothing coherent or sensible to say. Most of u resort to insults when u can't participate in an educative or high IQ debates. E'we |
czarina:we are talking about someone vandalising/ disturbing the resting place of the dead in this post. Appointing a dead person as a board member of a parastatal/agency,whether knowingly or unknowingly is similar to it. Both involved infringment on the private space of the dead. |
bikerboy1:Do u know how many dead people that were in buhari's board member lists in his first tenure? Idiot.s like u are one of the reasons nairaland is gradually become kids' play ground. U are ignorant but still chose to publicly display your ignorance instead of keeping quiet. |
Many dead are not resting in peace anymore due to human inhumanness and Buhari's political appointment. May God forgive humanity. |
These are the oil thieves without the right connections. The big thieves are the subsidy scammers in govt and oil industry. They have the right connections and nothing happens to them unless for blackmail purpose to make them toe the line. Femi Otedola is an example. |
Theresa May is resigning not because she didn't perform in governance but because she didn't fulfil her major campaign promise which is -agree an acceptable Brexit deal with EU. In Nigeria,a govt official won't perform any electioneering promises but will still boast about that with boldness. |
In advanced/civilised societies, any form of excellent performance and achievement by a student is rewarded with a prize tied to a scholarship in one field or the other. This brings continuity in education to the student and a general development in the society. That of Nigeria is different. We expect govt to carry the responsibilties of the family by either giving houses or cash to the person or his/her family. This is wrong. Govt should tie rewards for excellence to a scholarship if we must go forward in this country. |

Mustsucceed:u are right. I only foresee a modernised monarchy when she is gone. She encompasses everything victorian/ancient while her descendants are not. There may even come a time when successive monarchs will prefer lamborghinis, ferrarris, bugattis and other modernised cars to the traditional Rolls Royces the Queen is known for ![]() |
A child delivering the message of powerful elders is without fear. U have your grand patron as the president and commander-in-chief,not surprised to see this brazen boldness from a terrorist. I just hope this is fake news though. |
Admin401:Humans can only try their best but only God can protect 100%. President Obama was once stranded in an elevator with an ex-convict without security. This was a big security lapse. His security chief had to resign because of the issue. Somebody once also broke into the Queen's bedroom, with the Queen alone present. This was also despite the Queen's enormous security team. There have been several other cases of security lapses we have read online and some others which may not be have been publicised. Security experts can spot loopholes unlike we untrained spectators. |
razible5384:Mr ''BP'' means ''Buckingham palace'' please face your front if u haven't by now realised that u are wrong. There is no trophy both of us are fighting for. |
At over 90 years, the Queen still follows every important activity with great interest. That is very amazing. |
From one hell fire to another hell fire . What a way to go |
razible5384:your statement clearly shows that are the one that is silly because the post seem so complex to u. If BP represented Buckingham Palace according to u,why would all roads leading to it still be condoned off since it was already inside the palace the refuelling was taking place? ''BP'' means ''British Petroleum'' and not Buckingham palace as u ignorantly believe. I would have loved to ignore u but I just wanted to point out how petty u are. |
One of the things that amaze me about this story is that the ''beast'' was refuelling at a BP STATION. There aren't special filling stations that were made solely for the president, prime minister and other vips. Everybody uses the same filling station. That is something African leaders should learn from. |
Taeewo:the construction cost is not in local currencies but in American dollars. Ignore exchange rates. |
For the people always praising saraki, dogara,Dino melaye,Murray Bruce and others for always "fighting" buhari, what did they do as a parliament,to stop this broad daylight robbery? Politicians whether PDP or APC,always unite when it comes to stealing from public purse. |

That is why civilised countries practise "shift". There is nothing wrong when production/services runs all day long as long as it is different sets of workers for different shifts. It becomes evil when one set of workers work from morning till night. |
Jayslicky:everything is not by prayer. When u carry out your duties as a father,no kid will fail to acknowlede u as his/her father. The kid may be disobedient, stubborn and of other bad character, but will certainly not deny u as his/her father when u have always done the right thing. |
christianzest:she became sad immediately she realised that the marriage will neither be done in the church or customary courts but with traditional initiation and swearing by the husband's village deity which means ''NO CHEATING'' on her part but her husband can sleep with any other lady he desires ![]() |
kennygee:it is a matter of leadership. All the small emirates in the UAE once depended on oil just like Nigeria. Their economies were built, developed and diversified into tourism using oil revenues. All these were done because of good leadership. Those emirates don't depend on oil anymore even though oil revenues keep coming. Opposite is the case of Nigeria. Bad leadership will always yield bad results. |
Whenever I hear about the term ''subsidy'' in this country,it gives me an idea about how much has been stolen by the govt under the subtitle ''subsidy''. Any reasonable person will notice that the money spent on the so called subsidy is enough to build new refineries. If govt refuses to build refineries despite being capable, but continues to pay for subsidy,it apparently shows something is going on underground. |
I have always said it that every successive govt this country has ever had, have always taken us into deeper mess. The military took the naira from N0.658 to the dollar and dumped it at about N88/dollar by 1999. The Pdp took it from that point and dump it at about N300/dollar by 2015. Apc took it from that point to even up to N530/dollar at some point. The same sets of individuals keep recycling themselves in different forms in govt and that is why we keep getting the same results. |
philcz:are u white? If not, then u should have used the word ''some africans''. Not all Africans are gullible. |
He prepared for govt before running in the election. Buhari will tell u he didn't want to contest but was forced by his friends and that even the party form was also bought by his friends because he was very good. Atiku also said the same thing. Yar'dua was also forced to run for presidency. Jonathan became president by accident. Obj was made president to compensate south west for MkO. None of our presidents has ever been ready to run for presidency. It came as a shock to them when they won, it took them long to recover from the shock and that's why it also took long for them to form their cabinets!! |
He can now focus his attention on his new wife ![]() |

What goes round, comes round. We can't easily forget how fashola was treated by ambode because of an order from one ''oga''. This same oga has now also ordered for ambode to be treated by sanwolu, the same way ambode treated fashola. Tomorrow,it will be the turn of sanwolu to be treated by another person the way he treated ambode. It will be an unending cycle as long as the ''oga'' continues to be at the top!!! |
Mk93:no matter how ''small'', it is better than past govts who never did anything about it. |
Mk93:from the post,I understood that the place was a dump site which no govt over the years took notice of. Rochas came on,irrespective of his ''iberebeic'' attitude, did something on that site. He may not be perfect but what he did can be built on and he should be commended U can't throw the baby and the bathe water away. |
