PoliticsRe: Anambra Oil Field Ready For Commissioning Next Month by Ozichim(m): 1:01pm On Aug 06, 2012
Ohaneze1: ^

Foolish man, just like somebody said earlier you have irreversible brain damage. Mr. okoko wawa man, development is not only tarring of few KM of roads within the urban centre. Anambra believes in connecting all the communities with asphalted roads, provision of portable water, provision of human capital. Anambra will continue to be ranked among developed states of Lagos, Rivers and Kano. Enugu state does not even come close of the above, it (Enugu state) can be ranked among Ebonyi, Taraba, Oshun, Gombe. etc

Today Anambra has the best road network traversing almost all the towns in the state. You cannot say the same for enugu state, once you step out from enugu urban you will meet rural and backward setting. A trip to Awgu and Amokwe all in enugu state showed how backward, timid, bushy enugu state remains.

I think enugu state govt need to stop deceiving the masses and start developing the communities. Anambra remains the city-state that is developed to its brim with three major cities of Awka, Onitsha and Nnewi, having highest number of commercial banks than all the SE states put together. Total number of banks at Nnewi alone surpasses the number banks in entire enugu state, that another way to measure development and not that your governor tarred some roads in the urban center. Anambra state has continued to attract world class investors that presently pumping billions of dollars in Anambra, the same cannot be said of Enugu state which has remained pauper state.

Enugu state has continued to witness stunted growth since its creation, without developing other towns like Udi and Nsukka, these town has remained the shadow of itself and enugu is working, what an irony grin . Enugu state was recent listed among the few financially dead states in Nigeria by the senate committee (link below), what does that tell you. Like someone pointed out over 60% of enugu state population lives in Onitsha and Nnewi (mostly petty traders and hustlers) for economic reasons which is the major factor in determining urban migration.

http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/new-wage-16-states-risk-bankruptcy-says-report/100182/

Today the only Anambra people that still remaining in Enugu are few civil servants that are yet to get allocation at the new Ngozika Housing estate in Awka. Apart from that all others are all based in Anambra. Today population of Anambra is about twice the population of Enugu state, what does that tell you? It means that there are more people living and working in Anambra than in Enugu state. Enugu state needs to develop beyond enugu urban.

Today Anambra is the least indebted state in Nigeria, Anambra is the least poverty affected state in Nigeria (see link below), if these are not development I wonder if you have a human brain. Anambra has consistently ranked 3rd position in JAMB and university application in Nigeria, what is the position of Enugu state? Enugu was ranked about 20something. Now tell me, when will Enugu state come close to such rankings in all these parameters of development in Nigeria, maybe in the next 200years? Time will tell

Why should this Margot mention my Town in his ranting. You have really got it wrong, You did not visit Awgu. If you had visited Awgu, U will realize how fine looking Awgu is. Awgu is presently located in Enugu State, U mentioned Awgu because you thought or felt that was one of the undeveloped places in Enugu.

Note that Awgu is far more developed than a lot of places in Anambra. Awgu people live just like Awka people; just before Awka was made the state capital. Visit Awgu & see how smooth they are enjoying good road and Electricity. U will also see many fine individually built houses in Awgu.
Don’t make such mistake again, Tell us your village let’s compare to Awgu.

I have no where to begin inserting the gobble-de-gook you have above into this discussion, so please go get your skills UPDATED at least!

Kobojunkie: Please go upgrade your critical thinking skills, and acquire some comprehension skills before you continue posting on Nairaland politics board.
Critical thinking for stealing. You have lost already and will continue to loose. There is no way your evil plan & wish for the government will succeed.
You will run away from this Nairaland by the time the truth will begin to unfold. The southern part of this country has come to correct all the maladministration that has been killing this non-homogeneous mixture called country.
Everybody will bow for this administration at the end of the day.

Please if your husband (U said “Ur man”) is not a Christian, Ur really playing some dangerous game. Beautiful girls can have big influence on men. Men make big use of their eye. Men eat first with their eye & their brain. Staying far & Long from your husband is exposing him to unnecessary test. Beautiful girls can make him see U “ugly”. Children would have helped to keep him to Ur self.
You may go on with your plan if you are very sure he can manage and again if you don’t really care if he keep some girl friends. Again what of you, can you stay long without him? or are you the type that can sleep around where possible? Personal decision can help, but it is uncommon with men. Though, six months is not too long, my advice to U is that U should help the man by visiting him and spending time with him. If you understand men’s sexual urge, U know that it is something they cannot easily control and it can take hold on them any time anywhere. Even ordinary picture or sight of breast or even half dressed lady can confuse some men especially if he is below 40/35 years.
Yet I know that some men manage the situation successfully, So personal decision is very important here; but let it be when there is no option.

Jakumo: Areas of Nigeria such as yours, Ozichim, where the widespread improvement in mains electrical power flow has not yet taken hold, will notice immediate changes for the infinitely better, as soon as the long-overdue privatization of the power sector has been completed, and the last of the government's workforce of career thieves and professional saboteurs have been flushed down the water-closet of history, and replaced with far fewer highly skilled power engineering and management professionals, all striving to lure customers with competitive pricing and superior services, in true free-market fashion, where the customer ALWAYS benefits.

Not forgetting all areas yet to be lit up after 4 decades of pitch darkness in Nigeria, the overall consensus today, July 31 2012, is that a good 90% of Nigeria has been connected to a LIVE national power grid, and the elated citizens across the land, euphorically grateful for The Silence of the Generators, will ASSURE President Johnny B. Goode a second term ALREADY EARNED for magic performed, in the form of an earth-shaking landslide victory over ANY political opponent under the sun.
Jakumo; I don't know if you ar been ironical, but any sincere Nigerian should feel bad when you see anybody been maltreated or marginalized. Though there is light in my area, but a trek-able distance from my place doesn't have light just because of some wicked individual. This people deliberately want to surfer people in that area.
What I'm telling is that SHELL Petroleum is in full operation in this same area that does not have light and they are busy flaring gas un-interruptedly.
If I have my way there is no way I will allow SHELL to continue to operate in those areas. SHELL cannot even repair the roads in those areas. Visit areas were Total, ExonMobile & Chevron are operating and U will see D different.
All I'm saying is that the right thing should be done. This people should be integrated into national Electric network. In Obigbo U need only to walk around & U will be seeing so many live Oil wells, I don't even know so many of them. Shell has drilled Oil in this Obigbo for more than 40years yet Obigbo have nothing to boast about Shell operation in their vicinity. They only put tap water in few selected areas, which many people don't use because water is not an issue in Obigbo.

Shell also operate AFAM Power Plant, Whatever policy or JUJU that is stopping PHCN/SHELL/Rivers Govtnor from connection Obigbo/Umuebulu to enjoy steady power with AfAM people should be revoked or exterminated. Something has to be done, I know some good people in this forum may hear this complain and take it to the appropriate person for action. This is D complain in every bodies lips in this area.
PoliticsRe: Something Is Wrong; Power Is Improving by Ozichim(m): 8:23am On Jul 31, 2012
Hello all, I want to make complain here. It is true that light has improved in my area, but I still feel marginalized. My area is Obigbo Portharcourt rivers state, Obigbo is very close to Afam gas power generation "one of the biggest plant in the country”. Obigbo has so many live oil wells. Do you know that many areas in Obigbo doesn’t have light because PHCN don't want to put Electric pole there they want the inhabitants to pay them the money and again Rivers state Govt don't want to hear anything Obigbo development. Other areas around Afam are having 24hrs7 power, So why won't Obigbo be part of it.

Any PHCN staff in the forum should please tell PHC to correct the anomaly in this area. However we commend them for the improvement we have witnessed so far. We still had about 19hr/20hr light yesterday.
The surprising thing is that At times the light will still be on while it was raining. I used to think it is an abomination to have light while it is raining. We are watching to know if this light improvement is a mistake or deliberate act from PHCN.

Bikonu, hapuzianu Onyaraa "Chinuo1" Ona eweta Nduhie. Let’s talk about the good things happening to Igbo people. That impostor “Chino1” is a distraction.

Those Old Nigeria sadists and war crimers never know that any oil will be discovered within Igbo Land. They tried to remove all oil wells from Igbo land by making political policies that will scatter Igbo people, especially in Rivers state. They even move Obigbo to Rivers state to make them forget their Igbo identity. To them "Igbo Haters" finding Oil in Abia and Imo was a disaster that could not be avoided. Now, Oil has been found in Anambra and with strong indication that Enugu is in it also, this war crimers in the west and North will feel like drowning. In fact I believe that Igbo land is sitting on Oil, we know that even coal (Which was abundantly found in Enugu) is a very early stage of crude oil.

Believe me there are so many wonderful minerals yet to be discovered in Igbo Land, but the important thing is, how do we stop the stealing, deprivation, marginalization etc mated on Igbo people?

chino11: For those of you that questioned my pathernity, am an Anambran precisely frm Uga. Am not an agent of destabilization but a realist and an enemy of iniquity and man inhumanity to man. I'v taken it upon myslf to champion the of opening eyes of Anambrans on the ongoing cold war in our midst. For that singular reason we are not going to do 'nwanne' wit our God's Given resourses as others didnt treat us wit the same kindnes. This and many has driven the policy of the Awka headquatered Orient Petroleum Refinery to absorb 100% Anambra people, the same goes for world giant Sabmiller plant in Onitsha excpt 4 the expatriate personel. I rest my case
U'ar a liar. How can you be from Uga? It will be tragedy if you are from there, because Uga people doesn't talk like U did. Uga people are not people of little mind. All you are saying is out of fashion and cannot be synchronized to anything. There is no cold war amongst the Igbos & there can never be one. You and your likes have failed in Ur bid to cause disunity amongst the Igbos. Igbos’ are getting more united every day. If Asari can say that nobody can cause any artificial enmity between Ijaws and Igbos again; how can U think, you will succeed in introducing disunity amongst the Igbos.
Anambras don't need your help to open eye, their eye has always been open. You can go to self exile if you don't like Igbos to unite, because you cannot stop it. Even Gov. T Orji discoursed with other SE governors before doing what he did but yet he was attacked when he plan to execute it. He could not even complete the indigenous right issue. So tell us more, where have you visited in Igbo Land, You said you were once in Uga. Stop hiding your identity; you are not an Igbo man.

chino11: Ezi okwu, now am suddenly divisive.

Did you know that at one time 1992 Enugu state invoked indigenous policy laying Anambra workers out. Did you know that just recently TA Orji took the same direction though this time it affected entire SE states.

We are not going to do 'nwanne' with our own oil. Good a thing a policy guideline which am privy to have access to made it mandatory that the chairman of Orient Petroleum and all the members of the board of directors must be Anambrans which has since implemented to the later. Again that Anambra citizen will form if not 100% of the workers in the oil company.

WE ARE NOT THE SAME PEOPLE. DEAL WITH
I hardly commented on issues in this forum, but this guy "Chino" forced me to do so. I feel so disappointed to read his post. Frankly speaking I'm very ashamed of him. But please all Igbos in this forum should be careful of this Chino. He is most likely an impostor. I mean he is not an Igbo Man, unless he is a very small boy. Chino unless you apologize to all Igbos in this forum and declare your identity, you are not an Igbos man from now hencefort. You cannot insult the Igbos like that.
I want to restrain myself to say the things I would have said because of your utterances to Igbos not in Anambra State. Believe me only a mentally imbalanced person can talk to Igbos the way Chino did.
As I said I keep my word since Chino is not an Igbo man to start with.
As a matter of fact all Igbos are one. States try to control and manege what they have in other to balance their economic. This should not be seen as a divisive tendency amongst the Igbos though this should not be encouraged. Anybody can think about this and make conclusion.
After-all when we were together and before oil was discovered all the regions especially the South East (South-East & south-South) were leaving on Coal economy from Enugu. So please let’s ignore this man Chino he is an Impostor. I can’t imagine Igbo man talking like this now; when Igbo Unity is most needed.
Car TalkRe: Big Daddy Camry (2003 - 2006): Why Don't People Like It? by Ozichim(m): 10:04am On Jun 08, 2012
lilkech: i heared that the car does not sell overseas because once winter sets in the engine tends to freeze up and then knock up due to extreme cold temperatures

hence the name ' big for nothing '

is this true ?
By default U should know that this is a makeup. It is serious lie. Every Car has special facility that takes care of freeze/cold issue. No car/engine can work well in overseas without such provision. And no Engine/car manufacturer takes this for granted. So it is a big lie.

NB, Toyota "Big Daddy" is not selling well in Nigeria because people have given it bad name, and many people are follow-follow type. This car has lasted since 2002 and now. If it has such problem Toyota would have recalled it since, and the car won’t have lasted more than three years. I think it is only Nigerians that call this Camry model Big for nothing.
Car TalkRe: Big Daddy Camry (2003 - 2006): Why Don't People Like It? by Ozichim(m):
Bros, the response so far doesn’t sound reasonable, for somebody asking for reason not to buy a car,

Pls, the Toyota car Big Daddy is just ok. Don't mind those talking about shape. Believe me, It must be some half educated Nigerian Mechanics that must have given it the name “Big for nothing” though they may not mint it for evil. The car Engine wise, body shape interior are just ok. It is just that the car (Big Daddy) is a bit intimidating outwardly, so some proud/poor people get so surprise that it is not after all so expensive. I'm a technical person and if you ask me this car is the best Camry car so far. Believe me any serious technical owner can service the Alternator & Kick by himself, because they are easily mounted and dismounted.

You may be surprise that even though the car is very good some people will not buy this car just because some people call it big for nothing.

It you like the car, you must be so reasonable, just go for it. So far I have not seen any defect on the car. Any problem with the car can be managed. If you have done small racing with just four plug model of this car you will understand that the car Engine & suspension wise is very good. The Nigerian Name (Big for nothing is low level man description and is a name deformation). For people looking for good, portable, easy, manageable car, this is their Choice.

The name "Big Daddy" is a better description for the car, It is men’s car and any good Man attracts respect & wonderful good looking men are intimidating & sometimes with fearful countenance.

Please, Jackie is pretty especially when she smiles. In fact I like to watch her movie just to see her smile.
Jackie is pretty. Jenny is naturally beautiful. When she is angry she still look pretty.

We should not compare the two as this won't be doing Jackie any good. Jackie is pretty and attractive, But Jenny is also pretty more beautiful and many people will find her more attractive. Let's stop comparing the two for they are both African beauty though Jenny has the true Beauty.
Christianity EtcRe: Are Olodumare And "god/allah" The Same Entity/concept/word? by Ozichim(m): 4:18pm On Mar 29, 2012
There is no need stressing or abusing anybody in this issue. The statement or question is very simple.

Whichever name people or people call God. The being can rightly be identified by what he does or said.

As for Allah and Christian God (Jehovah, Yahweh), definitely they are not the same, as their teachings and deeds were quite different.

As for the Igbos, they call God "Chi, Chi-ukwu or Chukwu, Chineke" Now before Christianity came to Igbo land, they worship many gods but they believe and know that they are not worshiping the main God. Igbos believe that the small gods they are worshiping are servants to the main God, So no deity in Igbo land was giving the name Chukwu or Chineke (God), though they often reference Him(Chukwu) in many ways because they believe he exists. But they have no particular alter or shrine with that name. They also believe that God (Chukwu) lives in Heaven, and observes/monitors everything from there.

When Christianity came, they quickie embrace Christianity because the teachings in the Bible actually was quite similar to all they believe initially to be the nature and character of Chineke “Chukwu”. So possibly, that may be one of the reasons why Igbos had no problem/difficulty accepting Christianity.

Infact, when reading the old testament of the Bible, I, sometimes feel afraid of what I'm reading because, at times it looks so similar to what I do see some idol priest of my village doing, though they are not Christians and they have not accepted Jesus into their life.

I don't know much what other languages call God(Chukwu), but as for Allah considering what his teachings and deeds are, Allah cannot be the same as Christian God.

Jesus Christ of Nazereth can be reckons as the name God(Yahweh) gave to himself as person. One has so many reasons to equally believe that Jesus is God in person form.

Jesus did many things that only God can do when He was here on earth.

Please note this,
Man was made in God’s image:
Man thinks ================= God thinks
Man has feeling ============ God has feeling
Man can be happy, angry ======= God can do the same
Man is in three form (Spirit, Saul and Body/Flesh)====== God is in Three form (God the father/Yahweh, God the son/Jesus and God the holy spirit).
etc.

So no need to argue these things, If one calls himself God what has he/she done to prove that he or she is God.

When God (Jehovah) reveals himself to Moses, Moses was skeptical as to be sure and to prove that He is dealing with God and until God has to prove him-self. Although we don't look for miracle these days for confirmation of God in action, we know what we are saying.

Before Jesus and outside Jesus disciples and the prophets of the Bible there is no other person that has raised a dead body from the death before.
Jesus was the first and only person that came back to life after been dead and buried. i.e.

Death has defeated all men and everyman is powerless when it comes to death but only Jesus has defeated death, Jesus has power over death; and he has demonstrated it before and after He rose from the death.

So one don't need to kill himself as to who is God or what name means the something as “God”. Check what they have done before, what they are doing and what they are known for. This will tell you whether the names refer to the same person or not. I don't mean similar or almost similar because the devil can actually imitate anything. Just as we Human been can imitate to create fake or inferior type.

If they are different then, they are not the same, for God cannot lie.
PoliticsRe: Orient Petroleum Strikes Oil In Anambra by Ozichim(m): 3:29pm On Mar 28, 2012
This is just a beginning. Pls. the easterners should be happy about this.
NB. When Enugu was taking care of the whole SOUT EAST and Nigeria with their COAL we were all one people so we are still the same, the whole SOUT EAST will benefit from this oil.
Oil discovery in Anambra state is a big plus to the entire EAST because it will be run and managed by indigenous oil company. So, by all standards, the people of SOUT EAST should benefit greatly on this.

Meanwhile I pray that the exploration of oil in Enugu and Ebonyi should be delayed until Nigeria finishes the metamorphosing. Enugu is highly blessed with natural minerals like: limestone, iron ore, crude oil, natural gas and bauxite. Harvesting of these minerals should be delayed until the Easterners are ready; Nigerians have sucked/parasite enough on Enugu.

apostle007: It's funny what people do in a trance of hatred. The Igbo political class have always been in political alliance with the North: before the war: Zik/Balewa; after the war: Zik/Shagari. Yet, some Igbos blame Yorubas for their discomfort! Just mind-boggling.
You are not saying the whole truth, Considering the past history, Yorubas are back stabbers, So, Igbos are trying to be careful of the yorubas, knowing that they can't stand on their word. So they look for an alternative.
Yorubas are presently living and enjoying the country on the glory of the SAUTH EASTHERS.

The truth is that removing the Igbos from the country Yorubas are as good as death in the hand of the Hausas.
This is true, and that’s why Awo said that they will go If easterners should go.

Check this If they believe in SNC who among them can stand and insist on SNC. They are waiting for an Easterner.
And believe me, even if any easterner should get up and insist on SNC, Yorubas will back out if the stage get hot. So Yorubas are not reliable when it comes to confrontation!

The PROUD and BOASTFUL nature of the IGBO man is Abhorrent and Reprehensible. you find this trait even in the most illiterate and poor amongst them. Talkless when he has a little money, that Complex will become too obvious. Even in their marriages, should an Ibo Woman be financially privileged more than her husband, she becomes untameable. I have actually counselled a lot in this area. Think of it, if Nigeria actually Breaks up eventually where will ALL the IgBO go??. , They have no land that can contain them and we all how they fight amongst themselves for the available parches of land that have not suffered Erosion. Would they migrate to Ijaw, Efik or Bini territory or even the Yoruba they are subtly denigrating in their numbers, Can you imagine what social tensions it will create?Huh When whole masses of People begin to compete for finite resources of Land, Jobs, Markets, Businesses, Political Appointments with other people, and IN THEIR TERRITORIES. I dont want to even imagine what will happen, not especially with the prevailing Igbo man's psychology and the negative stories their parents fed into them after the WAR! We should thank God for a forum like NAiraland which any discerning reader might come to and feel the pulse of how different people really feel on issues., , and be Guided. As a non IBO it was difficult for him to Enter UNN in The Early 70's despite being from the East; But UI offered them a place. During the War, the igbo men who were in Majority began to extinguish their few enlightened SOns in hope of A complete TakeOver and domination Were Biafra to have succeeded, it was some of these neigbours that correctly interpreted the intentions of Ojukwu who swung to the nigerian side and showed the nigerian army the secret paths to Igbo land. BIAFRA is A FAILED IDEA- and it is ignominously represented by the Picture of starving Biafrans and OJUKWU FLEEING AWAY IN THE DEAD OF NIGHT disGUISED as a WOMAN!! What a Shame!! The IGBO should not mistake the Solidarity and Support from Southern Minorities for stupidity. Before, you leap, watch! I think that while the igbo may be Industrious and action oriented, they Lack people Skills and social culture to win others especially wherever you have a sizeable number of them or where they have a little money to throw around- It is ALWAYS their Achilles Heel, hope they guide against this. PRIDE always goes before a FALL!!
There are so many mischievous people in this country. Stop deceiving yourself I know you are crying for being a Nigeria but you have no option the oil must be for everybody. Infact the Yorubas, Hausas and including the Igbos etc. will keep benefitting from the oil weather you like it or not. And only you will surfer the ugly effect letter. There is no going back and no body will divide this country. I love this country but I hate evil people like you that keep working against this country on background. It does not matter what you say, anything false is false.
You and you likes are failure, this country will bless the sincere and good people in it.

I am angry that Ojuku led 3 million innocent to their death and fled the war. Thats treachery and cowardice
You are not sincere at all. Be serious, People are being massacred all you have to say is that the person that said no to that has committed a crime pls. Explain your self and be objective about that. and if you have not reason, you may not say anything since we are not in a child play.
The Igbos has to kill some people also so as to protect themself from pogrom.

Please, don't attribute democracy to Abiola for we have been having democracy before then.
You don't know why IBB rejected Abiola from taking the mandate. and I'm sure if I tell you why he did that you will start another abuse on people.
Stop attributing heroism to people without proper reason.
