Yesterday, I ended up consuming about 5 litres on my Gen just to catch some sleep, because of the terrible power failure. Last night, a neighbour told me that the recent power outage was due to problems with the street's transformer.

Me ke? Which means more fuel to burn! When a bottle of medium stout costs 300 naira?Na to take two bottles, bath, lie down for the heat untop tiles, sleep go.By the time I open eyes, na morning!

Lol. Never heard those names - the only folks from UFC I know are: Kimbo Slice, Rampage, Anderson Silva, Dragon, and Jon Jones. Darn! I'm guessing you're tough as well...so I might have to shout you any time I need protection. grin

shocked shocked shocked for Metuh to issue this kind of press release, there's indeed fire on the mountain. In all honesty, Metuh is a useless publicity Secretary........... He contributed to the quick demise of Jonathan with his tribalistic and anti-islamic press release, he never made sense except once.

I'm in support of Jonathan's aides who are interested in dissolving NWC of the party legally.
atlwireles:
Why is Muazu and the current NWC still making noise. Come May 29, the funding of the PDP will solely depend on Delta, Bayelsa, Akwaibom and Rivers states. Please people get the message now, Muazu, the current NWC have all expired. You guys can freely defect to APC. PDP believers do not expect power in the next 8 years, we are going to build a new party and grow from there. The party is now anchored in SS/SE/SW and Muazu brings zero value to the party as it stands today.

grin beta to get over d election. If many more Nigerians had voted for Jonathan ie in d sw dr is not in stopping jona from winning. D simple truth is dat most ppl wr tired of his govt.a govt dat only make propaganda and yet ppl wr suffering. If u guys r going by d op or wat Mr tanko said, am sure d number of vote given to Jonathan by d hausas is far far more than d votes d igbos and Niger deltans gave buhari .so y d disturbance.
calebo101:
Already we know. Actually it might end up as a blessing in disguise because now we have to look at ourselves in the south and ask if being part of Nigeria is worth it. Now we see that one Nigeria is just a fluke.

Already the results from the election has shown that performance never mattered. Ethnicity, religion and tribalism holds sway in the pendulum of power in Nigeria such thay we find ourselves subject to the choice of the largely uneducated region and the zone that likes to think of themselves as "sophisticated".

Apart from a few betrayals and judases which is perfectly normal I think there's a united view already on the future of the Niger Delta cum Southeast and it shall be actualised rather sooner than later.

Don't get it twisted. We are not ONE!!!

SportsRe: Floyd Mayweather Vs Manny Pacquiao - Boxing by ozo13(m): 12:19pm On May 02, 2015
50calibre:
A week from today, the eyes of the world will be on the MGN Grand in Las Vegas as unarguably the most anticipated fight of this Century since Tyson V Lewis finally comes to fruition. This is set to be the richest fight in boxing history, generating a whooping $300 million but much like Tyson-Lewis, this is a long over-due fight 5/6 years in the making. So the pertinent questions here are; will it live up to its hype? And what are we to expect come May 2nd.

Both fighters are very different in style, Floyd is a defensive counter-puncher who's perfected the art of hitting without getting hit, while Pacquiao is a tenacious power puncher & more of risk taker who throws himself right into the mix. However the one thing both fighters have in common is speed.

Floyd Mayweather steps into the ring with a slight height & reach advantage as well as an unbeaten record (which may also be a burden) while Pacquiao will for once relish the underdog status, thus lifting the weight of expectations off his shoulders.

In my opinion, this fight could go either way, it's going to come down to which fighter shows up in better shape physically, psychologically and emotionally coupled with how well each fighter is able to deploy the most effective weapon in his arsenal. For Floyd, his elusiveness and for Pacquiao, his power.

Most pugilist fans like myself hope for an explosive fight ending in a knockout and it's up to Pacquiao the more sensational fighter to make that happen. If Floyd is able to stop Pacquiao from getting inside and unleashing his vicious combinations, then we are in for a boring 12 rounds of Mayweather over-cautiousness, with the scorecards deciding the winner and we all know Pacquiao will never win a decision over Mayweather in Vegas.

My heart is with Pacquiao as I always root for the underdog but my head tells me Mayweather. I'm contemplating wagering on Pacquiao but how do you wager against a man who's never lost? Which ever way it goes, only one man will make the transition from Champion to Legend.

I created this thread so that fight fans on this forum (I hope they're still here) can have their say. Lets hear your per-fight analysis and predictions, are we going to witness an upset? If you had to, on whom are you going to wager & why?

Seun & Mods please be kind enough to push this thread front page.

Let me use this opportunity to state clearly that the peoples general, General Muhammadu Buhari is not a democrat but a cultured civilian , hence the incoming administration is not a democratic government but a civilian administration. PoliticsRe: Binta Masi Garba Aims To Be First Female Senate President by ozo13(m): 7:40pm On May 01, 2015
CFCfan:
Senator-elect representing Adamawa North Senatorial District on the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, Binta Masi Garba, said on Wednesday that she wants to make history as the first female Senate President in the country.
According to her, as the only female Senator from the North, her interest to contest for the office of the President of the Senate was to bring transparency and openness in the leadership of the red chamber.

Although the leadership of APC is yet to decide which geo-political zone in the North to zone the senate presidency slot to, the north east and north central are in pole position to clinch the number 3 position in the country.

Senators Bukola Saraki (Kwara) George Akume (Benue) and Ahmad Lawan (Yobe) are seen as leading contenders for the position.

Throwing her hat into the ring, the three term member of the House of Representatives from both Kaduna South and Michika/Madagali Federal Constituencies, told journalists in Abuja that she has written to all her colleagues and other Nigerians on the need to support her candidacy to emerge as the first female Senate President in Nigeria.

“Apart from the fact that I’ve leld several positions as a lawmaker in the House of Representatives, I am the first female Chairperson of any public party in Nigeria haven been elected as the Adamawa State Chapter Chairperson of the APC in April last year. I am still holding that position till today and the unity I brought to the party brought about the successes we recorded in the recent general elections.

“As a delegate member from Adamawa State at the National Conference, I served on the committee on Political Restructuring and Forms of Government. I know what Nigerians need when it comes to lawmaking and leadership. It’s time for all to support the female folks to be at the fore front of decision making in Nigeria”, she said.
