TravelRe: U.S Visit: Port Of Entry Interview/stories. by ozymes: 10:57pm On Feb 25, 2018
They might think went there to work
seyewest:
Are you on leave for 3 months? I'm not understanding and why return so soon... doesn't this look somehow to you? I know for sure a lot of doctors are busy.
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by ozymes: 10:32pm On Feb 25, 2018
Noted and out! It seems you are bent on quoting my response out of context. Thank you very much, sir and keep up the good work.
justwise:
Why must it be done privately? Why would people not apply for VOA directly without going through pm?
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by ozymes: 10:15pm On Feb 25, 2018
Thank God that you said lately. That means not always. Kindly read through and see questions that require me asking for PMs. You will see that it has to do will contacts on people who urgently need to resolve VOA issues. I am sure you won't expect me to post people's private numbers here or you want to advise otherwise?
justwise:
Why would your comment be taken down if you are not advertising any product here? While you drop your contact details consider rule number 22. I don't see the point of constant pm me or contact me with this email address as you have been doing here lately.
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by ozymes: 9:58pm On Feb 25, 2018
Because I want to avoid situations where my comments or answers will be taken down sir.
justwise:
Are you able to answer question here without asking people to pm you?

You have been doing this for sometimes now.
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by ozymes: 9:41pm On Feb 23, 2018
So, where are you now?
DJUde:
Hello good people of Nairaland.
Its been very rewarding following this thrend.

Pls, I got into Houston on saturday the 17th of this month and there was enough drilling at the POE as almost all the officers wanted to interrogate me followed by one who was practically threatening me with the fact that I borrowed the $10k dollars I had with me,, saying it is common with you Nigerians.

Please, now that I am here I have a question which I would sincerely appreciate if someone who had gone through same would assist with, my visa wasnt stamped in for any months or time. Please what do I do?

Please someone pls help as I am worried over this.

Thanks
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by ozymes: 11:49am On Feb 23, 2018
Please, Please, Abeg, Biko, Joor. If you are still here in Naija without the e-mail correspondence, I strongly advice that you get it sorted out before you board your flight, in your own interest.
valeria:
Good morning everyone.

Please I will like to know if a telephone correspondence with my doctor is enough evidence at POE? I do not have any email from the hospital and Dr. E is very busy to send me an email before my trip.

Thank you in advance and I hope to meet with any Dallas bound mama for 2nd week in March
TravelRe: There Are Only Four Passport Colors In The World, And This Is The Reason Why by ozymes: 4:26pm On Feb 21, 2018
Green, because we are ECOWAS member State!
propzncribz:
Nigeria is not a Muslim country and the passport colour should be changed to pink. Pink is the colour of puzzy and that's all Nigerian leaders are best at.
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by ozymes: 8:36am On Feb 21, 2018
Thank you for the positive feedback. You just made my day.We shall get there.
Msadesina:
After my rant on nairaland about the responses I got from Nigeria immigrations on my baby's VOA request, someone reached out to me and gave me a contact to call. I was skeptical at first because those I reached out to were asking to be bribed. I was furious cos i didn't see the need to bribe anyone for a $190 visa that I will still be paying for. I lost hope completely in Nigeria

But fortunately someone who I've never met in that same immigrations assisted and got out the approval for me in 24hours without asking for a dime. There are still good people in government parastatals just that the bad have overshadowed them.

I honestly think the email request is a means of scamming people, approvals won't come till you're forced to bribe to get it out. Thank God for good souls out there

Questions on whether you have visited the US before would be asked on the form. That is what i meant by US travel history
Micafe:
sorry I don't understand what you mean by this, kindly explain.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ozymes: 1:20pm On Feb 20, 2018
Yep! That's the way it is. Just like you are answering US Visa interview questions. In this case you imagine the possible questions and address the issues preemptively
radwad:
Thanks a lot.can I explain some salient info about my account as well?
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ozymes: 10:11am On Feb 20, 2018
You must submit!
mavinc4u:
Does it mean that after writing everything in the provided space then you would not be submitting your introduction letter?
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ozymes: 11:36pm On Feb 19, 2018
This usually my best part. Give bullet point on your reason for the trip, where to visit, list of assets, other incomes whivh must be supported with authentic documents etc
radwad:
Goodevening wonderful people.please what details are we expected to put here?...i your expertise please.
Thank you very much,

Micafe:

TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by ozymes: 7:50pm On Feb 19, 2018
El Paso, TX
AroOkigbo:

TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ozymes: 5:17pm On Feb 19, 2018
You could actually booking a walk-in-appointment
realshifu:
Thank you for your quick reply. I guess i will have to keep refreshing, probably delete my cookies, and try in the early hours of the morning. Coz the thing has frustrated me already. I was thinking of booking this Friday before coz i have to travel down to Lagos, but now I will just pick any day that comes through and get a new approval to travel from my LGI. All the best in our applications. Final question, was it the same website as the screenshot i posted above?
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by ozymes: 3:22pm On Feb 19, 2018

Congratulations and welcome back
daks01:
So missionary journey finally complete (I already posted my POE story). Been wanting to post this but I kept postponing.

So I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl in nov in Colorado. Hospital costs:
2day vaginal delivery stay: 2300
Doctor: 2190 (but I got refunded 230 for some reason, no complaints here!)
For anesthetiser awon oloriburuku people. I didn’t take epidural o! During labour one of the nurses offered me Nitrus oxide to help with the pain and I said fine, I was even pretty out of it sef cos I can’t remember. Apparently the anestheologist came in for like 5mins and left. Only for me to get a bill from them like three weeks after of $2000!! If I took epidural at least I will know I gained something, nitrus oxide didn’t even do anything. I still felt all the pain. Anyways I fought well and btw guys most hospitals have patient care representatives they help with any issues you might have especially billing problems with external specialists. Try and find their details cos it was the babe that helped me cos she knew one of the doctors in the anestheologists’ office. I eventually paid $600 After plenty fight!
Before delivery I got admitted for high bp monitoring, got charged $535 after plenty haggling.
Tests: $500 ish

Got social security no three weeks after, applied for expited passport ($165)in Philly and got it same day. Applied for visa on arrival and got a response two days later. Paid $280 for baby’s Ticket for virgin atlantic, also apparently it was cheaper for me to get it there than in Naija.

I’m so thankful for this forum cos I got all the info I needed here.
