Rugaria: Why are they advising their citizens to avoid the North? I thought they always helped the north to win elections in Nigeria and to get into power right from independence days? You will be sponsoring folks with wierd beliefs and lifestyles to lead a country of over 200 million people, just to get idiots in power so they can turn the blind eye while your multinationals loot the resources from other parts of the country bare.. Evil neocolonialists.. I tell you, the kakistocracy in Nigeria is a British and Western powers' design to keep Black people from being prosperous and competing with them. They ruled us for almost a century during the colonial era, so they know the mind and mentality of each and every tribe in the country. |

Yes, I'm a Nigerian. Not all. Can you date a broke guy if all boys are broke? Guys not showing interest in a long sticky relationship doesn't mean they are broke. Many guys are just overwhelmed by the situation in the country and the world generally. |

I propose dual military outfits to solve these security problems in Nigeria. Northern and southern Nigeria should have their own separate military outfits in dealing with domestic problems like Islamic terrorism. The situation where you have southern servicemen being used as sacrificial lambs in fighting against Boko Haram and ISWAP, then the problem cannot be resolved, because the Boko Haram sponsors in the North will be more than happy to see that outcome. So let the northern servicemen who are already familiar with their terrains be used in the security operation against Boko Haram and the likes. But in terms of the collective defence of the country against external threats, both northern and southern militaries can work together to deal with such problems. |

Bandits have been killing people at will before now, maybe if those authorities concerned have acted swiftly, this train attack wouldn't have happened. |

tesppidd: What do you mean childish? He was not being childish, he was being emotional. Absolutely nothing childish about that!
Comedy should have a few ethics and rules. It's distasteful as well as disgusting to make jokes out of a medical condition.
How insensitive!
IMO this is a typical case where "two wrongs make a right" Killing someone by anger is also emotional, you know? Anger is an emotion. So would you say that murder is excusable by anger? If I kill you now, would you say your family can forgive me because I was under the emotion of anger? At least, a matured man should learn to control his emotion. |

ETHICALLYrlght: It's the way these woke libtards interpret very clearly spoken words to mean the most bizzare things that makes me fear for the future.
Alopecia is simply baldness. Pep Guardiola, Zidane, Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson, Rooney etc are bald. Many girls that use hair extension lose their hair when they get rid of the extension. Boys that also carve their hair frequently suffer alopecia, especially, if genetics does not favour them. As long as I know Mrs Smith she's mostly had short hair and it appeared to be her fashion statement. Her daughter, Willow, has many short hair images saved in the public gallery too.
It was a clear GI Joe joke and the character is a powerful and charismatic female . It had nothing to do with a disease.
If you think that joke in any way mocks a health condition then comedy shows should be prohibited because it means when a comedian makes a joke about someone farting, every listener with gastrointestinal disorder should assault the comedian or every chubby girl with an eating disorder should assault a comedian who makes jokes about a glutton. Make a joke about a snoring husband and get slapped by men with sleeping disorder. My examples are even incomparable because alopecia isn't even a sickness.
The "health condition" claim shows that the world is becoming more stupid. Alopecia is not cancer. It doesn't reduce a person's quality of life in anyway. More like a fashion defect but the way they're all over it one would think it's like stage 4 renal failure.
The reason he reacted that way was most likely because his promiscuous wife thinks so highly of herself and believes she shouldn't be the subject of a joke. Medical condition talk no be am at all. Trump has been repeatedly trolled as "Orange Man" by these same people. Let's find a name for a medical condition that makes people orange and throw everyone to prison for ableism. You said it exactly the way it should have been said. I wonder how some people in the media are still finding a way to justify what Smith did. In this world today, you could get killed by a simp as a man and people will say he was only protecting his wife. The same Will laughed at the joke initially before his wife's facial reaction turned him around. |
TV/Movies › Re: Will Smith Faces Losing His Oscar For Slapping Chris Rock by pacespot(m): 12:43am On Mar 29, 2022 |
Will Smith is a disgrace of a man. Call it whatever you want to call it, that joke by Chris Rock was not too out of place. It is a usual thing for stand-up comedians to use people at the front seats to pull off their jokes and many jokes worse than this have been said and no reactions. Chris Rock meant no harm with that joke, that he even said "Jada, i love you" before the joke. All of them, including Will, were laughing at the joke until Jada's indignant attitude triggered Will. So it begs the question, why would you suddenly change your reaction towards a joke you were laughing at simply because your woman was not too comfortable with it to the extent of attacking the comedian? Will Smith is just a child in a man's body, that woman has successfully left a dark mark on his career for life. The woman that can still leave him and marry another man tomorrow, he even got cheated on by this same woman. If it was not in America, people would have said maybe Jada cast spell on Will. |

India will be wise to have their own independent foreign policy, imagine a country of over 1.3 billion people, India should be in the level of China today. Who knows what economic tie India can create with Russia in the future? Russia has the resources that India will need to industrialize in future, but USA has the technology which can be usurped by China.
That still doesn't make the Ukraine war a sensible thing to do by Russia. |
