Honestly, the officiating at this year's AFCON just showed to the whole world that Africans have what it takes to transform this continent to a place of excellence and prosperity.

May God bless us and make it happen. cool

Black people will do the right thing when everybody is watching them. The will to continue doing the right thing when no one is watching is what we are praying for them.

USAand europe prefer Russell Burbank potatoes which is highly rich in preservatives because it is chemically purified not to allow aphids to stunt its growth... You must have seen it very large as big as cocoyam... We can't produce that... We are under the IMF there is nothing we can do to that... The Americans And G7 dictates to us how we run our exports...

We can't produce the potato as you described it or we can't export it?
Politics / Re: Social Media Is Now A Menace, Must Be Regulated - Gbajabiamila by pacespot(m): 8:15am On Feb 09
Because this man was rightfully insulted recently and now he calls for social media regulation. The over-entitled ego of Nigerian politicians due to lack of checks and balances is a big albatross in this country.

Business / Re: Banks To Pay Customers Money Sent From Abroad In Naira by pacespot(m): 8:11am On Feb 09
Do they even allow the Dollars to inflow into the country as it should be? PayPal is still not useful in Nigeria for receiving and withdrawing payment.

Withdrawal into your domiciliary account from forex trading or crypto trading platforms is still prohibited.

They need to let people get the Dollars first before they plan to steal it from them

the whole yam produced in Benue only can feed the whole of Africa... But it is a pity 75% are exported

But why are they not putting the same effort in producing potatoes as they are of higher economic value in advanced countries like USA, Europe, etc than yam?

All the people who have been reported dead watching Super Eagles are from Southern Nigeria, but the Northern Nigeria want you to believe they are more Nigerians than the rest.

This tells you who are heartily committed to Nigeria as a country.

Politics / Re: Forex Crisis: Our Crude Oil Sold In Advance – NGF by pacespot(m): 12:13pm On Feb 08
Nigerian oil that became the frontrunner of rejected crude oils in international market has suddenly become the most sought after because we now have refineries to refine it at home, to the extent that they are now selling Nigerian oil months and years ahead.

I remember when they used to say Nigerian government cannot raise money because there are many Nigerian oil tankers and ships stranded waiting for buyers in different countries' borders around the world.

But now they say our oil is being sold ahead, because we now have refineries to refine it here, and there is no more suitable lies they can tell to cover up their greed and corruption in the oil sector.

How wicked can this government be to Nigerian people Despite the inflation, instead of them to find a way to alleviate sufferings for the people, it is just to continue to steal they are after.

Read the title again and see that you are forming Oversabi. The title says highest medals won, any other thing na 'i too know' .

If you go to AFCON official medals table, it is not arranged the way it is arranged on this thread, it is arranged based on the number of golds won, then silver and bronze. The person who won the gold is the winner of the trophy πŸ†

It's like saying Netherlands has more World Cup medals than France because it has finished as a runner-up and third place in more times, but it has never won the trophy πŸ†

Egypt came first with more golds than any other nation in AFCON tournament with 7 golds, followed by Cameroun with 5 golds, Ghana with 4 golds, Nigeria with 3 golds. But when you combine all the medals gold, silver, and bronze, that is when Nigeria comes first with 15.

This sounds interesting, on the face of it, its a good news and a means of fighting insurgency. But the reality on the ground had shown that many innocent civilians living in their homes, (maybe even above the number of insurgents) has been killed, maimed and slaughtered by the very own fighter jets being flown by the NAF trained fighters.

In some quarters, there are worries that the jets are knowingly targeting and killing people that are not too friendly with the people in power, inquiries has been carried out in the past, reports of innocent people killed litters the Internet.

State policing will cure insecurity, any other measures are just to postpone the evil day.

Thanks, I won't be surprised if this deal is linked to Dangote Refinery buying crude oil from United States instead of refining Nigerian crude oil to ease pains of Inflation caused by fuel pump price hike and dollar scarcity. Dangote Refinery was supposed to return fuel pump price to around ₦150 or below until US came in with its own crude oil for the Refinery. Most Nigerians don't even see how their future is being mortgaged for the interest of those at the corridor of power. Nigerian sufferings paid for Dangote Refinery and now that the Refinery is supposed to ease the sufferings, the mega power brokers in USA came in to seal the deal with Fulanitocracy in Nigeria.

US and the West are the problem of Nigerian people and Africa at large, they continue pumping weapons in the hands of African dictators that have shown no regards for human rights and are battling with legitimacy from their people. This deal will further embolden Nigerian leaders to do as they want.

But imagine countries like Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger, though under military rule but have enjoyed legitimacy from their people, US and the West refuse to sell weapons to them, but instead continue to sponsor attacks against their leaders, there have been 5 major French-sponsored military coups against the leader of Burkina Faso that have been reported already.

Welcome to Africa where the youths are the leaders of the tomorrow that never comes. Many youths are not even helping matters. Look at Betta Edu.

The most painful part is that many youths fought, voted and rigged for this ancestor. Those youths will tell you that what they need is the man's brain, not his body.

Just like Yoruba Ronu are defending Tinubu despite dollar at N1500 and inflation & greedflation are mounting every day.

Oga NFF kindly leave politics out of football please, Football is the only thread holding Nigeria together, don't let it snap.

Super Eagles is the only thing making Nigerians happy and proud at the moment, APC still carry their dirty politics go meet them. If Nigerians are happy and motivated by anything, next thing you will see APC or Nigerian government interfering and trying to control that thing. This is how they carry their dirty self to say the 2024 slogan "NO GREE FOR ANYBODY" is an insurrectionist slogan. Before that useless Police PRO, Adejobi muyiwa, came out to say the slogan is being used by people who want to set this country on fire, thanks for the military though for countering him.

With all this inflation caused mostly by rising cost of Naira exchange to dollar, Dangote is still buying oil from USA to put further pressure on Naira.

You guys can see Nigeria is not suffering from inflation, that Nigeria is suffering from wicked leaders.
