Is it a democracy we are practising in Nigeria or autocracy? |
waynetee:Slave. Look at this slave that INEC is imposing a president on and he thinks keeping silent is the right thing to do. When will Nigerians be free with this kind mentality? Without asking you, I know you are a Yoruba? Afonja, the traitor and betrayal, blood runs in your vein. |
This is a good time for any court or Justice to shine. It will just be a smooth ride for a court to dismiss this election and become hero that save Nigeria democracy. There are so many fronts to challenge the outcome of this election: *Is it through voters suppression (just only 27% of eligible voters voted) *is it through intimidation, assault, and mass disenfranchisement of people. *is it the glaring cases of police snatching of ballot boxes *is it not winning the 25% in FCT *is it not transmitting results electronically *is it flagrant abuse of office by governors to force the changing of results at the collation *is it not allowing party agent into the local govt collation *is it not uploading results into IREV or changing results that have been already uploaded *I can go on and on This election will not stand even if you take the case to a jungle court. |
Now I believe USA economy is overvalued. This will not cost up to N200 in Nigeria and N200 is less than 30cents. |
That INEC chairman should step aside if Nigeria wants to enjoy a credible election, because from what I saw, he did not see himself as INEC chairman alone, he believes he is a king maker who determines who should be Nigeria President. Imagine, he promised electronic transmission of results before the poll and all manual collations would be vetted through electronic results before announcement, and if there is any difference, electronic will take precedence over manual. What he has done is changing the goal post in the middle of the match that he has set the rules himself. If there was a "technical glitch" as said, the opposition parties said let us have a fresh election since the integrity of this election cannot be verified anymore, he refused and went ahead to announce Tinubu as his President-elect. |
rottennaija:But your mumu APC urchins were dancing because of USA congratulating BAT some moment ago? Nigeria can never be ruled by INEC president. |
How this guy escaped from DSS custody still needs to be investigated ![]() |
INEC president ![]() |
Johnthum:I tell you, Buhari is very corrupt and incapable at best. |
In my own view, I think INEC should not be headed by one chair, we should have like 3 INEC chairmen, so if one of them disagree with results being announced, then INEC must stop the collation and request for comprehensive review of results from polling units up to national collation. Because it is easier to compromise one person than 3. INEC elected Tinubu not Nigerians. We are far from getting there as a democracy, all these necessary measures will serve as checks and balances. Nigerians are just too corrupt, tell me one country of the world where police are snatching ballot boxes. Even in Africa, I've never heard anything of such. |
Very useless commissioner of police whose boys are snatching ballot boxes |
PlayMaker14:And you believe Tinubu? |
She didn't add that police are now ballot box snatchers ![]() This country tire me |
Britain definitely has big interest in Nigeria and the current arrangement that disfavours the South and keeps its people in bondage. |
The same police that were hijacking ballot boxes. ![]() |
The most preposterous thing about this election is not that Tinubu is rigged in as a President-elect. But if this election is allowed to stand, Nigerians will never get to choose their leaders again. Una go see shege in the hand of INEC and other state actors. Impunity will reign supreme. Police brutality will become rampant, military extra judicial killing will be the order of the day. Just name it, this election portends a very bad image for Nigerian people and Nigeria as a country. |
Are you sure they have not started their jihadist attack on the people with this incidence? Muslim-Muslim is rearing its ugly head. |
Nigeria democracy retrogressed dramatically the very first day that INEC chairman took the chair of the body. |
Then what is INEC waiting for to announce Tinubu as President-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria ![]() Yeye people, that Mahmoud Yakubu should understand that INEC is not a king maker but just an overseer of king making by Nigerian people. All the political Parties protest to you that the process of collation of results is faulty in which you too have admitted yourself that there is a technical glitch in your iREV server. Is it not your duty to Nigerians to halt the faulty collation and address the problem before proceeding ![]() |
Any result that is not transmitted directly to iREV from the polling unit in this election is fraudulent. I watch video on Twitter of how PDP and APC are padding their results in Ekiti by transferring votes from LP to themselves. |
Who voted for APC and PDP in these States. |
The transmission of election results should be done at the polling units, that is the essence of the new electoral act supporting electronic transmission of results. |
Fut9ure:I am a Yoruba but I actually agree with you. Tinubu voters are as a problem to sensible Yorubas as they are to other tribes. |
Cletus77:I tell you, that Lagos result is just a distraction, Obidients should not even celebrate it. They rigged, rigged, rigged to close the margin. They are padding figures and manufacturing 25% for APC at the states where Obi won landslide and cutting down on the total votes to make sure Obi did not win popular votes in the end, for instance Enugu gave Obi 2 million votes, they cut it down to about 440k. How can plateau state have more voters turnout than Lagos state? In a free and fair election, Lagos would have given Obi about 3 millions votes if there is no voters intimidation. Those South West States like Ekiti, Oyo, Ogun, Ondo where Obi could have gotten the required 25%, they massively cut down the Labour Party votes to make sure that did not happen. INEC game plan is to make sure this election did not get to runoff, they know that with runoff, Nigerians will give Obi a landslide victory. |
Well done Shettima, some fools are still denying that this guy has connection with Boko Haram. Borno is one of the very few core northern states that voted for ObiDatti, at least they will get 25% in the state, now this is happening ![]() Shettima, call your boys to order. |
From the collation from the polling units to ward and local govt, isn't it necessary for all the party agents, at least for the top 4 political parties, to be present there? |
Where is the video proof? This useless dailytrust again ![]() |
I haven't heard anything from those USA and EU international observers on this election so far. Would they say they don't see what is going on? I don't trust when USA posit that they don't have a preferred candidate in this election. |
How does INEC know their is over voting? It means they only use BVAS when it suits them. |
basilo102:To me, the major culprits of this election rigging are the military and police. They stand there protecting election riggers and chasing rightful voters away. |
Ask yourself what is the difference between this election and the ones we have been doing before BVAS? I don't see the point of using BVAS for voters accreditation without using same for transmission of election results. All these results are being announced without reference to BVAS. In essence, BVAS was only used to disenfranchise voters. In a polling unit of about 3000 registered voters, it might only be 300 that are accredited by BVAS and get to cast their votes. Then in the collation, they will say BVAS is no longer important. |
RIP damsel. Police and Nigerian army are the greatest elections riggers in this country. Before election, army were threatening ballot box snatchers, little did we know that they really meant the opposite. Police and army were the reasons for mass disenfranchisement and voters intimidation and suppression in this election. |
