TravelRe: Why There Is No Point Going To The Uk Again by pacespot(m): 2:32pm On Nov 15, 2022
sukkot:
There used to be a time wheN the UK was very sweet. i would not even lie to you and that era was the pre- internet days. you see the beauty of the UK back theN was that

1 The world was not yet commercialized. it was strictly about culture and fun aNd having a great time. nobody was worried about money or making lots of it because everything was cheap. and also back in those days you could find like five of us naija guys sharing a flat and it was just fun and party all throughout and like all of us were british citizens back then ( yeah those who used to come pre-internet were mostly british citizens ) so we used to get all kinds of benefits so we didnt really have bills lol. just party life

2 Also what made the UK sweet back then was because there was no internet to tell you what it looked like, so you enjoyed it so much more because its like you are stepping into a world that you have never experienced before. there were no pictures of what to expect and so it wasnt cheapened ( no see finish ). it was all a mystery. now everything is on the internet

3 The caliber of naijas in the uk back then was quality guys and girls. now na every tom dick and harry oooo lol

4 Also the fact that the nigerian market was not open back then and so there was no uk goods in naija and so when we went to naija with our uk clothes everyone looked at us like celebrities. like peoppple would be admiring your uk baffs. of course today there is even no need to go to the uk because everything in the uk can be bought in nigeria now so that aspect of it has also being cheapened. like there are levis and nikes and every shop in the uk in any mall in naija now. like you can be in naija and baff better than someone in the uk now. and so there is no need to go to the uk again. Just buy your baffs in naija and flex

5 Like i said earlier the uk was not commercialized heavily back then but now its all about money. now they can even tax you for the air you breath if they can get away with it. its like the fun has been sucked out of the country and it is now all about survival

6 It has become overpopulated by immigrants from all over the world. its like that unique britishness has being lost.

AND SO BROTHER THE UK WAS ONCE A SWEET PLACE BUT ITS NOW A SHITTY PLACE. LOL. I NEED TO TURN THIS INTO A THREAD LOL AND SO TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION BRO THERE IS NO POINT IN BEING IN THE UK AGAIN IF YOU CAN FIGURE OUT HOW TO LIVE WELL IN NAIJA BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS IN NAIJA. EVERYTHING THAT IS IN THE UK IS IN NAIJA EVEN KFC AND DOMINOS AND NIKE AND APPLE AND POSCHE AND SKETCHERS ETC ETC ETC . SO IF YOU CAN DEVISE A WAY TO EARN POUNDS IN NAIJA, ITS THE PLACE TO BE
You have a point. Africa is catching up with these Western countries little by little. But the speed is very slow due to bad leadership, that is why the likes of China have hijacked the race from them and even now overtaking these Western countries.

Nigerians never tire to suffer.. in fact I regretted my action last Sunday. As I was coming from church, I got to a police checkpoint and a female officer stopped me and begged for a tip with a smile, I would have given her something but I promised her next time.. 5 seconds away from them, some area boys gathered and started hailing me.. out of my benevolent heart, I gave them 2k, as I watched through my rear mirror I could see the police woman standing and looking at us, I know she must be feeling bad that I gave the area boys something and didn't give her.

Now why am I angry? I just realized that those area boys must have voted APC/Buhari into power and will be willing to vote Tinubu(Buhari promax) in 2023. Giving them free money will never allow them realize they are suffering.

Henceforth, before I dash anybody my hard earned money, I will ask the person to show me his/her PVC, and will equally ask the person his/her preferred candidate, if you are not Obidient, you won't see shishi.
You don't even need to ask who they are voting for, if you see Tinubu urchins, it is very easy to recognize them by their bland and weak intellectual reasoning.

PoliticsRe: INEC To Nigerians: Help Us Identify Underage Persons On Voters’ Register by pacespot(m): 7:37am On Nov 15, 2022
The truth is that Nigeria of today scares me more than Nigeria under the colonial rule. When you are being ruled by the people that are above you, it shows that there will be progress and improvement brought by it to your land even though you may not have a say about how things are done in your country, such was Nigeria under the British rule. The British were technologically more advanced and intellectually more capable than the people of their colonies, which resulted in social transformation and economic prosperity of British colonies.

But in today Nigeria, the southerners who are more educated and civilized are being ruled by the intellectually backward northerners, the result is the Nigeria system that can only be a drag and drawback for the development of the former. Coupled with the hydraheaded monster of religion extremism that we have seen swirling in the North recently, Nigeria can only be summarized for doom and failure unless it restructures itself very quickly.

During colonial rule, the British were ready to be a bigger person and listened to the agitations of their colonies for self-rule because they undertood the benefits of people choosing their own faith under a democratic setting. But can you say that for Fulani and their Northern acolytes with religion extremism in their blood?

If you want to know the fate that awaits Nigeria, just look at Iran and other Middle East countries under Islamic dictatorship. Muslims hardly listen to anything except violence. So it is dutiful for southern leaders to acknowledge the reality of this Nigeria system and take the necessary course of action for the future of their people.
PoliticsRe: Keyamo: Adebanjo Made Mistake Endorsing Obi by pacespot(m): 6:51am On Nov 15, 2022
mrvitalis:
This political class are really far from reality reason they perform so poorly in government

Anyone who says obi doesn't stand as good a chance as anyone is not politically current

CAN and the Christian community has all but openly endorsed Peter obi

The entertainment industry have all but openly endorsed Peter obi

Nigerian youths majority from South and middle belt have all but endorsed obi

But obi biggest strength comes from the none traditional voters like me , people who have never voted but want to because of obi ...from the traditional 30 million voters obi has guaranteed at Least 7 million that's sure

But the new voters ...no body including obi knows how many their votes can be ...can be 2 million ,can be 30 million ...we have over 60 million registered none traditional voters ..all obi needs to win is to get 15% of them that's all
I always tell people that the only campaign that PDP and APC know how to use against Obi is telling his supporters not to waste their votes, creating doubts in their minds and telling them why Obi cannot win. But only a fool will still compare the 2023 to any election in history of this country.

Tell me how many elections that people came out enmass just to register their PVCs to the extent that they were being extorted by INEC officials in the course of getting registered because these people are so desperate to vote?

Imagine people that paid money to register for their PVCs or went through that rigour that we saw during PVC registration just because they have a candidate of choice will now decide to sell their votes during election, that is a blatant foolishness I will say

Why are politicians the only ones attacking Obi
Those Tinubu urchins will soon get sense when they finally elect the criminal into the office. There is this saying that "when you see the association of known criminals coming together to attack one man, then you should know that that man is not like them"

Òbí might be a former governor of Anambra state, you can also say he is also a Nigerian politician, but you cannot compare the credentials of Obi as a politician with the likes of known crooks like Tinubu and Atiku. Òbí is an outlier to typical Nigerian politicians.

Now USA is coming in to ensure this election is free and fair, any sane Nigerian should not doubt the chance of Obi winning in 2023.

One very good thing about the Russia-Ukrainian war is that it opened the eyes of so many countries to see the Un!ted state for what they really are: Hypocrites and Evil

Imagine the turkish interior minister likening the US condolences to "the murderer arriving as one of the first at the scene of the crime."

It says alot about how glaring the evil dealings and intentions of the Un!ted state are around the world. And thank God everyone is coming to terms with the fact.

Why always them? Why would a country be going around supporting group within another country just to bring the government down through chaos, war and upset. Why?
You people always have problem with any successful person, now a successful country like USA. What is the fault of USA in Russia Ukraine war again, is it coming to the rescue of a country that is being invaded by its neighbour or what? So USA sould have watched Ukraine burnt to the down ground by Russia and do nothing. The same USA forced Ukraine to come to the negotiation table with Russia but you will rather blame it than blaming the country who started the war really huh

Hmmm What's the catch? That's the question we should be asking... Instead of celebrating. Cos US is alot of things but obviously not a 'good Samaritan'

America is a blood sucking parasite... As far as they are concerned? Nothing goes for nothing!

If you think they care about us that much to spend their taxpayers money on our "Negroid" ass and gain nothing greater in return then you should think again.

I can't trust the west for any reason.

From slavery to colonization... etc They have proven to be vultures that only survive off other people's carcass!

So whats the catch?
What they will gain is the stability of Africa most populous country and biggest economy. They see the possibility of the election snowballing into uprising and violence, but making it free and fair will douse any tension. Economically and Politically, USA benefits a lot from a stable Nigeria.

Those Nairaland-based fools who support Russian invasion of Ukraine shouldn't forget to tell us how much Russia is bringing to support Nigeria's elections.

In truth, education helps people to learn how to read, write and think, but it doesn't get rid of outright stupidity or sheer ignorance. Our world is safer under the United States than any other country.
United States is part owned by Black, I don't understand why any African countries will support Russia or China over USA except it is for the benefits of that African country.

Of all the countries USA has invaded, it has never invaded an African country of Black population or any country outside of Africa with Black dominated population.

I would be surprised if Festus Keyamumu did not post this on his Twitter handle very soon to justify Buhari's failures. grin cheesy

Mind you, for Nigerians that are comparing themselves to these people that are being connected to the American electricity grid for the first time. First of all, America is a very big country in terms of area and landmass, imagine a country that is as big as Nigeria 10 times, that is what America is. And America is one of the most diverse countries in the world, with up to 9 different officially recognized timezones. This means that the sun does not rise and set across the USA at the same time. When some states are in the morning, some will be in the night, etc. So America is more of th continent than a country. So you see why it is difficult for the government to get electricity across all the nooks and crannies of the remotest parts of the country. So don't compare that with Nigeria electricity issue.

Also, these people that are being connected to America electricity grid for the first time will henceforth have more regular power supply than anywhere in Nigeria.

9gerian:
But have some of the Nigerians been mostly good citizens in SA?

Some Nigerians literally take host countries as fools for having enabling environments that help immigrants to thrive so they quickly abuse all the privileges, and eventually get banned along with other innocent immigrants.

Recent cult activities and robberies that led to the ban in Dubai comes to mind. Abike Dabiri was even labeled a bigot for calling out those who were causing all the major problems. Now other African immigrants are affected because of what some Nigerians do. But we bask and boast that they envy us. Such was possible if filth was attractive to everyone.

India, Thailand, Ghana, Indonesia etc the list keeps growing but we are not allowed to talk about it less we offend those whose people are doing all these damages on an atrocious scale, and with no one allowed to give caution.
You are the only Nigerian making sense in this thread. Nigerians bask themselves of being the most successful immigrants in foreign countries and often throw that in the faces of nationals of these countries, but here they are in Nigeria that common Africa vagabonds like Fúlàní are enslaving them and denying them their right good government and even human freedom. Nigerians refuse to come together and fight against bad government, they will rather leave the fight in the hand of God, but if these foreign countries that they Japa to had left their own fight in the hand of God, would they have met the good system which enables them to succeed quickly over there?

Like the current Obidients movement, some Nigerians think it is none of their business. They still want to vote their oppressors like Tinubu and Atiku, and tomorrow they will cry wolf of the same problem of today.

Edo people are the descendants of old Benin empire which is a craddle of Africa civilization. Edo people have got a good taste, they are no sycophants, they know what is best for the country.

I just hope this electrifying Obi movement can be replicated in the North, because those ones are the problems of this country, they are easily the willing tools in the hands of corrupt Nigerian politicians.
