Business / Re: Fuel Attendants Insist Customers Buy Meatpie First Before They Sell Fuel (vid) by page9(m): 5:13pm On Apr 29
Namaster:
The heart of the average Nigerian is full of UNDISTILLED evil. It brims with evil so PURE the devil is envious.

Imagine the wickedness. Customers are already buying the petrol at an INFLATED price YET the wicked attendants want them to buy USELESS meatpies. Further investigation will probably reveal that the price of the meatpies bave been JACKED UP too.

Yet the attendants will return home and bitch about corrupt politicians.

Fact is the average Nigerian is MORE corrupt and wicked than the average Nigerian politician. Only difference is in scale and scrutiny.

NEVER put yourself in a position where you are desperate for something from a Nigerian. It's a TERRIBLE position to be in.

You are very Right.

Many will do worst than the politicians, we are gradually becoming a country without conscience.

No feelings of kindness towards fellow helpless nigerians.

The Pathetic part is that, the poor are always happy to inflict pain and misery on its fellow poor,

Take a police at the check point for instance, he dare not check the vehicular documents of the rich, just by looking at their cars, he will ignore, let him see a man with a kabukabu trying to make ends meet with his jalopy, he will be made to squeeze as much as possible

A Nigerian prefers caregiver(slavery) job in oyibo land than doing lawyer job in her country

They gave us independence and we ruined ourselves, now we’re literally begging for slavery which is seen as an opportunity

Black is truly evil

Most Nigerian youths will do better anywhere especially here in their fatherland if only they can change their mindset

If only they can see Nigeria as half -full, Instead of seeing our cup as half emptied.

My pain is that National Re-orientation is non existent.

Foreigners come here and make money within short time, Indians and Chinese, even Malians and people from Chad and Niger republic are all over the place doing one business or the other.

An Indian friend once told me that Nigerians are special breed of people, they are too critical of themselves and will rather complain than reflect and take positive actions about improving their lives.

Most of them see doom and are always eager to run down their country at the slightest opportunity. Many are happy to see Nigeria fall but are quick to blame govt for everything.

Nigerian youths need to know there is no easy life anywhere, no free lunch anywhere, not even in free town.

The more we move to those countries in droves, the less they value us.

I challenge any serious Nigeria youth who is really serious about changing his economic situation, will make some reasonable progress with 6months to 12months in the short run,and within 24 to 36 in the medium term.

The real reasons why our economy is suffering apart from the bad leadership, is terrible followers too.

Many of us only complain when we do not know anyone in power, the day our friends, colleagues or associates are in the corridor of power, we defend them or at worst, we go silent.

Many youths forget that to make money, manage and multiply it is a skill that must be learnt. Every problem is an opportunity for those who can solve them, not those who can complain most.

Have you developed yourself enough to be valuable to the society? What can you offer? What problem can you solve?
What are the useful soft and hard skills, you have learnt over the years?

Many youths are so naive they are waiting for successive govt to provide employment for them.

As tough as it is, many are changing jobs like clothes?

Employers are looking for problem solvers, not salary collectors.

If you as a youngman or woman are prepared to learn, work hard, learn patience and perseverance and pay the price for success, it would be only a matter of time to achieve your dream regardless of the economic turbulence.

By the way, there will never be a time when everything will be easy, it is an illusion, Many who could not make money during Obasanjo Era, are building their mansion and making their legitimate money now.

Most youths are ignorants of opportunities around them because they hear more of lamentations and unconsciously wiring their brains to flight instead of fight. Japa may be ok for some, but it is unnecessary for many if only they have adequate knowledge of all the possibilities.

This excuse that you want a better life for your kids abroad, being a black in a white environment does not guarantee a better life, If you leave a decent life here and your child decides to pursue their masters abroad, they stand a much better chance to have a better chance in future.

Only God has the final say on that, we can only try. Now the lady is dead, if the man is unable to manage the daughter now, what becomes of her?

Many doing Japa are doing it just because it is the trend. Some are selling off a life time fortunes just to relocate, to start a caregiver job.

I am based in lagos. I am willing to mentor serious minded 6 men and 6 women below 22yrs on ways to make money. I do not have a penny to give, all i need is serious mentees and all i will give is my time and knowledge which is more valuable than money.

What i ask for in return is Seriousness, commitment, patience. The mentees must be willing to mentor others and share their acquired knowledge too when they start making financial progress. The mentees must have minimum of school cert or more. They will not work for me, they will work for themselves. They must also be willing to read recommended valuable books sent to them.

Pls note, i do not deal with all these online stuffs, crypto, FX trading etc.

I do brick and mortal business. And i know millions of Nigerians are sufferings because of ignorance.

Nigeria government will leave real issues and be chasing shadows..

The problem was never availability, rather affordability..

Stabilize the Naira
Encourage agriculture
Improve security..

Small small,we will get there..

That is what is still missing in Tinubu's govt
As long as politicians and the governors' Monthly allocation has crossed Trillion naira, the naira cannot be stable, these people are the major buyers of forex, how many businesses can survive importing raw materials at N1537 to a dollar, sell in naira and make profit?

Tackling insecurity and the implementation of massive mechanise Agriculture are the two surest ways to get Nigeria out of the woods.

Dollar may reach N2000 before easter if care is not taken, the neighbouring countries are no longer interested in farming because the food is ridicoulusly cheap in Nigeria now at N2,500 to 1000cfa!

Natanyahu Is the biggest terrorist

Many here are driven largely by ignorance of what Israel rand the current leadership represents.

Only a fool will keep using the same method for 75years and expect a different result.

No where in the world, has military force successfully brought about peace.

Benjamin Natanyahu is a war monger.

I sympathise with the peace-loving citizens of the state of Israel, but anyone who thinks Palestines should continue to suffer under Israel occupation in both in west bank and now Gaza, is an hypocrite. We pray such people should lose their freedom unjustly and see wether or not they will revolt violently.

Because western governments called a group "Terrorist Group" does not mean reasonable people will accept same, if tomorrow comes and such group serves western their interest, they will reverse the appellation.

The biggest Terrorist is United States. They go to other countries for no genuine cause and destroy, Libya, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan the list goes on and on.
Might is not right.

Benjamin Natanyahu spear heading the slaughtering of about 20,000 largely innocent Palestinians is not large scale state terrorism, what will you call that.

No one deserve to die needlessly, i support the peaceful co-existence of both Israel and Palestine but that dream may not be realizable as long as Benjamin Natanyahu is in power.

[]Well, forceful and Chained evacuation of black to Slave Ships no Longer Happen again

The west has successfully brain-washed us to believe the grass will always be greener on the otherside

That is the point the "African Afrobeats Legend-Fela Anikulapo Kuti Preached all his life" That, instead of Africans standing up and taking responsibility for the development of Africa, we run to the western world for everything. The African leaders especially franco-phones will rather destroy their countries than to offend France, Same with Africans as individuals, rather than confront our challenges, we prefer to be second class citizens elsewhere.

When everyone leaves, who do they expect to make it better? Secondly, many do not have full grasp of the happenings at the other end, otherwise they will know that going abroad is not for everyone. I have visited many of these countries, 95% or more are struggling to cope with the daily challenges of life. Most people struggle daily to survive and meet their monthly bills, UK, Canada, Australia, Dubai, China, Turkey etc .Even the citizens of these countries are strugglingg.

Where there are challenges and problems, lies many business opportunities for those who can see beyond the noise.

The country is bad, we have terrible leaders, there is insecurity, kidnapping, boko haram etc, yes, we acknowledge all that but are these enough to be despondent? I don'nt think so.

For those who understand the Red Car Theory (RCT), they will understand better. Personally i see business opportunities everyday and i wonder why Nigerians love to complain rather than take advantage of these opportunities. But most lack the knowledge of Red Car Theory.

For the benefit of those who may not understand the Red Car Theory. If i ask those who have gone to church today. " How many Red Car did you noticed on your way going to church and while coming back today? You probably did not notice any red car passing. But if i had approached you in the morning before you set out to the church and i promise to pay you N5,000 per red car you see provided you can show me picture evidence with your phone. I bet you will not miss out any red car. Same with opportunites, just because we are not searching or looking does not mean there are no opportunities here. Many are not looking enough.

Many of my contemporaries who got American Green Cards are not better than some of us, Western world is not very suited for business success, it is for those willing to offer "Cheap labour". I used the word, cheap carefully because, your wages will not be adequate for your comfortable survival there. It is a lot of money when you convert the pay to Naira, but you will have to live in that country and spend the same currency in that same country.

I wish Africans will see the cup as half-filled than Half-empty, the western world will never appreciate a run-away who refused to take responsibility to put his house in order but wants to claim his right in other man's house, little wonder why some citizens of these western world are quick to remind Africans in diaspora to 'go back home and fix their economy', instead of feeding on their success.
What i realized is that, most Africans, especially Nigerians, prefer the easy way or short cut, they constantly do more of complaining than solving problems

Mental Slavery is much deadlier than physical slavery.

Properties / Re: Drone Footage Of Massive Structures To Be Demolished In Lagos by page9(m): 7:41pm On Dec 01, 2023
DaTruths:
Why would LSG wait for such massive structures to be completed before swooping in to demolish it?

It would take nothing less than 6 months on average for such projects to be completed, and they didn't come there to mark it ❌ as to stop work?

Wetin concern me.

I am not a fan of Tinubu or Sanwo Olu, I do not think they are the best men for the Jobs, both at state and federal, but for now we just have to bear some of their ineptitudes.

That said, Nigerians are always happy to break the laws, especially if they believe they have some "connections".

There are instances where ongoing properties have been marked with " Stop Work Order" and the builders continue even at a much higher pace.

In a reasonable environment, the residents of that vicinity who will ultimately bear the consequences of flood will alert the government and as a united community, will prevent the erection of these buildings along waterways.

We also need to realize that no govt, state or federal, has enough personnel to be everywhere, everyone is quick to say, "why did it take so long for the govt to wait for those building illegally to be told to stop.

We all know what is right and wrong, we can feign ignorance at our expense.

It is safer to buy land in a safer area, and make the effort to verify if the land is free of any encumbrances. It is better to do your due diligence and be sure you are not ignorantly sinking your money down the drain.

Many will leave liabilities for their children instead of assets. Because the children will not be able to inherit such troubled assets and by the time it is dawned on the owner, that the govt has to demolish such property, he may not be in a financial state to re-build again, he may have retired or become too old to build, such calamity tends to damage the mental and the physical health. The pain of moving from a land lord in lekki to a tenant in Ajangbadi can kill faster than Covid 19.

A word is enough for the wise, if you successfully erected illegal building in the first, second, third year, nemesis will always catch up with you sooner or later. It may be your tenth year that a new govt where you know nobody will come and destroy the building.

It is cheaper on the long run to do it right, than to keep bribing your ways to sustain what is illegally built, what if you die? Would you expect your children to keep doing it the same way?

Investment / Re: List Of Fintechs That Bite The Dust Despite Huge Fundings From VC! by page9(m): 8:27pm On Nov 24, 2023
Bigkoko:
Latest to bite the dust!
Zazuu, a London-based fintech that built a marketplace for African remittance companies and raised more than $2 million, has shut down, citing a lack of funding. Two fuvking million dollars!!!!

Zazuu, the fintech marketplace for cross-border payment networks in Africa that raised over $2 million from investors like Launch Africa and Founders Factory, has shut down after failing to raise funding. “We explored every option before making this decision,” the company said in a LinkedIn post announcing the closure.

Zazuu was founded by Nigerians;
Kay Akinwunmi (CEO),
Korede Fanilola (COO),
Tosin Ekolie (CTO), and
Tola Alade (CDO) in 2018.

They raised a $200,000 seed round from Launch Africa and ODBA in August 2021.

A year later, the company raised $2 million from Launch Africa, Founders Factory Africa, ODBA, HoaQ, Tinie Tempah, Jason Njoku, Babs Ogundeyi, and other angel investors.

Did anyone notice something? These guys simply took tribalism further, to running a company! They must think the Brits who allows the Indians & others to run their country must be fools who have no Englishmen capable enough to be PM.

As for Zazzu, tribalism killed the promising LLC. Say NO to tribalism!

So how the heck is Bigkoko Group Inc. managing to stay in business when many others are going bust? Not only were we able to hold our head above water, we were also able to launch a branch in Sweden, thus providing a veritable bridge between Africa and mainland European. By 2nd quarter 2024, we hope to launch another branch in New York City USA!

So far, the MD/CEO has committed over $50k of personal funds to see this up.

Bigkoko Group Inc. building African most successful Startup!

How did tribalism killed the company?

Can you substantiate that assertion? There are companies with major stakeholders coming from same ethnicity by design or by circumstance that are still succeeding despite all odds, some are even family business. While there are others with people from different ethnicities, nonetheless still failed.

If all your argument is because they are all from same ethnicity, that certainly is not a convincing argument. If you have other possible reasons you believe could be responsible, then let us have it.

No one or business is immuned from challenges and bankruptcy, we all pray to reap our sweat.

Waiting to hear more from your perspective as per the real reasons they "failed"

How about the criminals that sold the lands?

Why does the govt wait for people to finish their building before demolishing them?

Many did not pay attention to the details.

The land in question is not under lagos state jurisdiction. The issue is with Federal Housing Authority.

Nigerians are special breed of people. They will do improper or illegal act, claim ignorant and still expect human face or compensation.
From the comments of some of the landlords, they have been told to vacate the land but like typical nigerians, they believe they can negotiate their ways through anything.

Who sold the land? I bet it may have been allocated illegally by some govt officials. It is the norm in Nigeria but as we say "Caveat Emptor" in business law. "Let the buyer, beware!"

Travel / Re: A Single Mum Wants To Relocate Abroad, Needs Ideas by page9(m): 3:22pm On Jun 16, 2019
Cyberknight:

You will have to do careful research on the cost of living in your preferred destinations in the developed world to have an idea of whether your finances can sustain you all for a certain amount of time (say 3 to 6 months) without any income and then take your decision.

Hard truth - life abroad (let's use the term "abroad" to mean the developed western countries here) isn't cheap for someone coming from a country with a weak currency. The heating costs for your first winter alone can induce depression. There will be childcare for your children to factor in as well since you are single. No matter how qualified you are and where you were working in Nigeria (if you are employed), do not expect to just arrive and get good employment right off the bat. This is why the Canadian and other immigration schemes require prospective immigrants to show proof of enough funds to sustain them for up to year in the absence of any other income.

Depending on where you are going, and how you get there, you may or may not be eligible for some government assistance (if entering Canada as a permanent resident through Express Entry you have as much entitlement as anyone else, for instance). But you have to balance this out against other harsh realities - sometimes as a new immigrant, what you can afford to pay in rent doesn't get you a very salubrious area, and being encumbered with children limits your choices.

Put differently, for instance, I could live in one room in Hackney or Brixton (Ajegunle) if I were all alone, while I am finding my feet in a new land, but with 2 children to look after, I would rather avoid such areas and their gangs and bad public schools, thus forcing one to move up and pay more.

Hard truth No. 2 - It's easier to hustle if you're alone, you can work many shifts, or hold more than one job, while you settle in and hopefully move on up to better things. With children, you're limited unless your income can cover extended childcare expenditure; not possible at many commonly obtainable income levels.

Hard truth No. 3 - I know several people who relocated alone first then sent for their children and/or spouses later. It's certainly a very common occurrence and one you might have to seriously look at, depending on your finances.

Best of luck.

As always, the truth may be bitter but it is always better to live with the truth than to be "Shocked into depression when the reality sets in inevitably"

I give you a thumb up.

You have saved her and others like her thinking all is smooth and rossy right from when you get out of the plane.

The impression many nigerians have is quiet different from the reality.

@OP

You stand a better chance of surviving with minimal casualties if you start your sojourn alone for the first few years. Starting alone is not even an easy task much less with two innocent kids.

That is the plain truth

Career / Re: MTN Ad-hoc Staff,should I Continue Or Quit?? by page9(m): 3:10pm On May 15, 2016
The core problem with nigerians is lack of creativity.

Most people are yet to wake up to the reality that certificates is no longer an automatic meal ticket.

I see BSc graduates who complain of joblessness still going further to acquire the different masters degrees.

There are several of them roaming our streets and they have not thought it wise to change strategy.

While we were in secondary school, some of us saw beyond and took several apprenticeship program in our vicinity.
I can sew, I can barb, I did electrical installation before I went for my OND in electrical and electronics, then I ended up in OAU to study economics because banking was the in thing in the 90s then.

When I graduated in 1996 and while waiting for job, I went to Aluminium village in Dopemu to learn Modern aluminum frames for windows, doors etc making which was and is still profitable work to do.

A single contract can turn you to a legit millionaire.

After working in a computer firm for a while, I got tired and I started my own business.

But being the boss, I realise I have enough free time, I then enrolled in Automedics (Agidingbli) to learn about automobile as a technician even though I was already a master degree holder.

Now to the real issue here,

Most of our nigerian graduates miss the point in the first instance, MTN Knows that we have far more jobless graduates who will work for nothing just because they can't think out of the box.

Our fresh graduates look down on acquiring skills, thinking all that matter is getting the certificates, you all the need to wake up and smell the coffee.

Those days are gone, it is global, even in dubai, those who have skills are making waves withing short time.

@OP and others in similar situation, try learn a relevant skill or two, you will be suprised at how profitable those skills will look at with disdain can fetch you with ease.

Being graduates, you will spend less time in learning the skill, you can sign up for crashed course for just three months practicals as an automobile technician, you can focus on car air conditioning if you don't like grease, you can learn car upholstery, you can learn about Car electricals & wiring etc the list goes on.

Can you barb, if not why don't you learn that and set up in your area, with a small investment in battery and inverter, you can do away with generator, you can also go to Dopemu too to learn about Aluminium frames, doors and windows. No one is using louvres window anymore, the demand for Aluminium frames is not slowing down anytime soon.

Any aspect of building constuction requiring some skills, like draftman, site supervisor, bore hole drilling, interior layout and designs etc can be learnt.

House Air conditioning , fridge and deep freezer repairs etc can be learnt.

The truth is, an average automobile technician " mechanics" makes so much money but perhaps due to lack of education and wasteful spending, we rarely see a good account of jobs in their lives. But they mostly spend their money on women, drinks etc. Visit any mechanic garage and you will always see a beer parlour close by.

Now, imagine a sensible graduate with good packaging and presentation. You will be able to charge better and convince the customers easier and command greater respect and patronage provided you are sincere in your dealings.

Finally, the future is in your ability to solve other people's problem, and they will gladly give you their money.

But who still need your certificates?

If everyone else think like you, hoping on their certificates to provide the job, where will you apply today?

We all should think of creating employment for others rather than wanting it the easy way out.

Dangote could have been somewhere in Kano as civil servant but he choose to start a business and the rest is history now.

Most of the skills mentioned above are in very high demand and it will cost you next to nothing to acquire the skills compare to the stress of university education, if only you can come down from your mentality of seeing handwork with disdain.

Guess what? This skills are more of services, you don't need much money to set up, in fact, you will be paid upfront.

For Aluminium frames, you get paid for materials and part workmanship before you lift a finger. For others, you are paid for faulty parts where you have already added a reasonable margin.

So, you all should think about it.

These services can be established in any of the 36 states and Abuja,

So, what are you waiting for?

My message here is for those who can see far ahead, Nigeria is not about to get better anytime soon, people will need these services regardless of the economic situation.

You can continue to blame Buhari for all your woes but while you are complaining, others are smiling, it is all about your choice

Good luck

MistaHumble:
I am presently serving as a corper in kebbi State and I have been observing the onions market here.
Much research I have made has shown that the aleiro market here seems to be the biggest in Nigeria and you can see people from all over Nigeria and even foreigners coming to buy onions in bulk.

I will really like to go into the business but I am not so aware of how it sells in other parts of the country. The dealer I spoke with said he can be giving me a full bag of onions for N7000 including loading and transporting to Mile 12 in Lagos. He also made me understand that a bag of onions is sold between N12,000 to N13,000 in Lagos mile 12 and this seems very profitable being that the price am getting here is so good for making profits.

I am making arrangements now to send 10 bags to Lagos and even sell sharply at N10,000 per bags and from my information so far, the buyer is already willing to collect it cash and carry immediately it arrives.

I just want to enquire from those in the business already if my calculations and informations are right and if this is really a lucrative business to invest my hard earned savings into.

If it is, I will like to hear from you and I will all like to assist anyone who wishes to get involved and purchase from here.

@op

You are wrong with your calculation.

You can't make profit if you buy and send to mile12, lagos

No one is buying a bag of onion t N10k here in mile12.

A bag of onion cost between 2k to 2.5k in Sokoto.

You can't just conclude profitability from one side.
You will need to do more market research

Because you are obviously going to be competing with the farmers. The same people who will sell to you

Goodluck all the same

@ OP

You should also state how much you will pay per day for demurage.too

The truth is, kosso wood export in log form is prohibited and moving wood to port harcourt sea port is illegal and the truck may be confiscated along with the goods by the customs if you are caught.

There are more than enough haulage operators in Shagamu. Most have refused to go after bitter experiences. As we speak I know several trucks that were loaded with kosso woods to port Harcourt since February and are yet to offload because it is more difficult to bypass the customs officials who are more careful to mess up with the new comptroller general.

So, it is a risky venture to go into. You can go to jail for allowing your property (truck) to be used for smuggling. Ignorance is no excuse in law.

If wahala comes, the çhinese guys who are the real owners of the smuggled wood will find their way out of the country and leave you to suffer.

The exportation of this wood is wrong . We allow these heartless chinkos to come here and destroy our environment and forestry for peanuts and the same gullible nigerians are helping them to destroy our country.

They also have woods in their country but they are not allowed to destroy it, so nigeria is the weeping boy?

In as much as we have bad leadership, I believe most of us too, the so called followers are far worst. We take decisions and actions without recourse and consideration to others even yet unborn. We need to change.

Change should actually start from the man or woman you see in your mirror
Agriculture / Re: Is There A Demand Market For Maize, Soybean, Cassava And Wheat? by page9(m): 10:03am On Jan 13, 2016
Op should realise that marketing is a very critical part of every business.

In some climes, there are marketing boards who handles that for the farmers but here, the farmers must understand how to market their produce.

For maize and corn, there are thousands of local buyers especially, animal feeds and beverages companies.

You also need to ask questions and find out who or what your products can be used for, find out who needs it and reach out.

Knowledge is power. Cassava chips and flour is in high demand both locally and in abroad. You just need to do your research properly.

It is advisable to have a clear-cut idea of how to dispose your harvests before you go into farming.

Best of lucks.

That way, you can clean out all manners of impurities (seamen inclusive) on your skin from head to the toes especially if you have oily skin like I do.

You can have your Janabah much cleaner after the soapy bath since Janabah is a soapless bath.

I am a Muslim, and I detest the idea of someone trying to claim monopoly on the ability to solve others problems. Be it spiritual, medical, physical etc.

More often than not, most of these people have greater problems than that of their victims.

It incumbent on every Muslim to have the ability to communicate with his or her God.

Most people end up adding to their problems when they visit most of these spiritualists (it existIn all religions)

Having issues with getting visas, childlessness, joblessness, lack of promotion, not yet successful at winning contracts, stagnation or poor sales are some of the challenges that people all over the world face on a daily basis but most of these spiritualists would always trace it to your stepmother or spiritual attacks from God knows who.

IT IS PART OF HUMAN NATURE TO HAVE ONE PROBLEM OR THE OTHER, AND WHEN YOU HAVE ONE, FACE IT SQUARELY AND FIND GENUINE AND CONCRETE SOLUTION TO IT.

A SPIRITUALIST WITHOUT OTHER MEANS OF INCOME CAN NOT BE TRUSTED, SO SHINE URGE EYES OH.

I do my prayers myself, and if Allah wills, He accepts or otherwise. Who can challenge His decisions? None!!!

Dear ladywise, I really would have loved to send you a personal mail but for the benefit of others, I will therefore crave your indulgence and offer my apology in advance.

I am of the opinion that we need to be more conscious of the implications of our actions as Nigerians.

I believe that no one will build Nigeria of our dream except us. The attitude of importing just about anything into our country from toothpick, now dried fish?

Nigeria will never develop. Rather than for us to acquire the technics or machine they use in drying the fish, we continue to deplete our foreign exchange to buy "Dried Fish!!!

I agree that it is a free world, but actions are inactions may have far reaching consequences on Nigeria and Nigerians.

I am an exporter, I choose to be one because no country develop by importing anything and everything.

In as much as our leaders are our problem, we, the followers should do our best to lead the change we want to see.

The mentality of an average Chinese is to produce and export . Now China has become the power house of production for the world.

Are we going to continue to be an importing and consuming nation forever?

What happens when the oil wells dry?

That is food for thought for all of us.

Thank you all

People hate to face reality. It is in our nature. You have not told us what you have achieved with your 5yrs experience in d Biz and you expect someone to appear from the blues with free money.

How did you find out that money is d reason why d business is still on d ground?

Could be financial mismanagement, could be low commitment to d Biz, could be or faulty strategy etc.

D truth is bitter but I always tell people that only a fool will give a stranger money to start a Biz.

If or friends do not trust you enough, what about your family members?.

As d saying goes. "If u dont have your own money, you can only start business using money collected from ur Family, Friends and Fools"

Even the 3 FRS still need to be convinced as to why they stand to gain when they buy into your idea because that idea you think it's special is actually so cheap you can get 3 for 5kobo!

All payment comes thru me. We have petty cash limit of 100k and no one gets any money without my approval.

I make use of technologies. I can pay and receive money in any currency and from any part of the world.

I have surveillance camera in my factory to monitor all activities.

We constantly observe loopholes and we strive to block it as soon as it is detected.

Is an on-going thing, it is a battle field where both parties try to out-smart each other.

Politics / Re: Lagos Rejects Hijab In Public Schools by page9(m): 1:41am On May 16, 2013
It is obvious that Nigeria still has a long way to go when it comes to religious tolerance. Reading most of the posts, except for a few objective Christians, most posters not all who are Christians are of the opinion that the policy is a right step in the right direction.

The truth is, Lagos state belong to all of us be it Muslims, Christians or any other religion. When people say that as a Muslim, if I can't conform to a policy or law designed to target a particular segment of society, I should take my child to a wholly Muslim school.

Therefore, If I do not have option as regards paying my taxes, then no one should deny me the benefits of my tax because of my faith.

It is so easy to feel unconcerned or happy when your neighbour's right is being trampled upon, tomorrow may be your turn.

Hijab is the least of problem in the educational sector. There are countries in the world where school uniforms is not even recognize and yet they attain good advancement in education..

I know that those who formulated the idea do not mean well for Lagos.

The politicians know the power of religion, that is why you will always see a sudden ahmed in between bola tinubu and raji in between babatunde fashola, and if Muslims in were to mobilise against any party in Lagos, then the party is doomed.

I am very sure the govt will rescind the stupid decision when they realize that they are digging their political grave. I only hope it will not be too late by then.

On those who rejoice over the policy, I pray to God to give you the wisdom to tolerate other peoples' religions and rights because without that, Nigeria is in trouble because till kingdom come, we all can't be of the same religion. Tolerate each we must, to move forward as a true nation and not a mere geographical expression.

@dontecrosofiso

Why don't you show us the pictures of your "big cows?"

A lot of people buy cows down south especially in the southwest.

But on the issue of integrity. It is an individual thing. You either have it or you don't. But I will have to disagree with you that the people in the east and southwest are not sincere in business like you in the north. With due respect, that is far from the truth.

In the time past, northerners word is their bond and when an average northerners says "Wallahi ta llahi", means he is telling you the truth. Now, they are far worse than the southerners. I reside both in Gombe and Lagos. I travelled across the north everytime and I do export business buying goods in most states in the north from nasarawa(solid minerals, cassava, Benny seeds and cashewnuts) to ginger in walijo in southern kaduna, gombe (lead ore), Jos -Plateau & -zamfara( lead ore) etc. These days, bad people are in everywhere and every tribe so are good people.

Mr Kayo, with all due respect, your first picture and second picture seem not to have same background. I can perceive some Photoshop ingenuity here.

Hope the motive is transparent?

By the way, the vehicle in picture is too good for N850k. Is the owner in distressed? Can you provide more info and pictures about the vehicle especially the location

Just being curious.
