Celebrities › Change Of Name Snoop Dogg To Snoop Lion by Pain(op): 4:42pm On Mar 08, 2013
The Artiste formerly known as Snoop Dogg now wants to be called Snoop Lion.

Snoop went to Jamaica a Dogg but returned a Lion after a religious and artistic awakening.

Rastafarian priests bestowed the new moniker Snoop Lion upon the music icon when he visited Jamaica in search of "a new path."

"I didn't know that until I went to the temple, where the High Priest asked me what my name was, and I said, 'Snoop Dogg.' And he looked me in my eyes and said, 'No more. You are the light; you are the lion.' From that moment on, it's like I had started to understand why I was there," he explained at a press conference.

Born Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr., Lion has always felt a special connection with Jamaica's most celebrated music legend, according to news.com.au. "I have always said I was Bob Marley reincarnated," Lion said. "I feel I have always been a Rastafari. I just didn't have my third eye open, but it's wide open right now."

This spiritual development has revived Lion's artistic energy. After years in the music industry, rap started to stale for the 40-year-old music icon. Ever since he appeared on the scene with "Doggystyle" in the early 1990s, Snoop has been a prominent player in west coast hip-hop. But Lion welcomes musical change and growth

Dee60: Watch your language. No human being has been able to choose the way he looks. That comes from God. If you abuse a man based on his looks, who are you accusing? Think. We need to grow up in Nigeria. Illiteracy, and particularly an unwilling attitude to learning is such a big problem here. This is a language you would not find anyone use in the developed world. It is so irritating and backward.
I guess you mean the "original looks" because we can cite several examples of people who have changed the way they look either for good or for bad.

Christianity Etc › Re: Mammy Water: Myth Or Reality? by Pain(m): 6:25pm On Mar 04, 2013
Mcbee: It beats my mind why anyone will doubt the existence of water/marine spirits. Apart from coming [me] from a coastal state back in Nigeria, I've also handled different cases of folk who were directly or indirectly possessed by these spirits.
I wouldn't wanna get into details here because this might not be the right forum to discuss such spiritual matters. I know of a young Benue State Unversity student  who came all the way from Makurdi to attend a conference in Port Harcourt. The said girl, according to her confession was initiated into the marine cult at a tender age by her mother who was then a highly placed member of the marine kingdom. There were days she will physically transcend out of the human nature to live inside of the river Benue for days without anyone knowing  her whereabout except her wicked mother. On such occasions, everytime she came out, havocs were bound to be released upon her earthly targets [enemies].
I wasn't told about this, I actually witnessed her deliverance. I know what happened that day, there's no need going into details here. It was scary and dangerous.

While also in Nigeria. I' ve seen a young beautiful Port Hacourt girl who was possessed with a serpentic spirit [also marine spirit]. Her deliverance was another sight I wouldn't like to behold. She was actually spitting out like a Python snake, while crawling on the floor like a live snake. Yes, thank God she's free now and acting as one of the top stars in Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood.

But, I would like us to know there's a difference between the Marine spirits [Demons] from the Water Mermaid [water creatures] , though all of them are control by a terrestrial spirit known as the Water principality .

Please comrades, this is a very sensitive topic. Just because you have never seen them doesn't  mean they don't exist, yes they do. It is by His [God] mercies we are not consume.  If the Lord open your eyes to see what goes on in the marine world, then you will agree with me that God's protection is the reason we live.

Please , if you need any further clarification on this issue, feel free to check out my profile and drop me a line. Then we can exchange phone numbers. It will be very easy for folks who reside in the US and Canada,  Those from Nigeria   and other part of the World  are welcome too. Blessings.
Thanks for this. I will never forget my encounter with a very lovely girl some years ago. I was initially scared but everything seemed normal afterwards. They exist but do not harm easily. My case was that I was protected against my will. Doors opened for me but I just knew it wasnt rite. Until I went for deliverance @ MFM and discovered they only leveraged on my God given aura. I could freeze water by holding on a glass cup for some minutes then. It was just out of the ordinary. Its unfortunate she died exactly the day she predicted. On her 21st b/day. WoW! That encounter has shaped my behaviou ever since. I dont easily trust people. I keep very few friends. Im indeed still very very reserved

This man's story is so incoherent and is just a contraption of different stories already told by other people. Some of the original narrators are the same people he seeks to demonize in his cock and bull story. I hope this man Faweyimo is still mentally balanced. If you call this a disjointed "bull-scum-crap" you are spot on. What a shame!

tanimola22: Okay, I hear you. But, at least, you probably should agree that your claim that Dangote did not go to school is not completely correct. The discussion is to choose between 'Dangote went to school and Dangote did not go to school'. We all know that he at least went to a university and read business studies. He therefore does not qualify as a college dropout or a did-not-go-to-school billionaire, even if it was yesterday he graduated from the university.

Jamie Dimon is a known banker at JP Morgan and a co-founder of the Citi Bank you hear of today. He is not an unknown name in the world...Maybe your point would have been sharper if you had said 'tell me one banker in Nigeria with riches and popularity dominating those of Tubaba and davido.

indoorlove: Oga, if you said the tradition is no longer practise again, u would have made more sense than outrightly denied it was ever practised. I was in Benue for a visit around 1996 or thereabout and believe me, this act was practised before my very eye. Pls dont ask me if i live with them, they were my neigbour and one of their son who was my friend told me there was nothing wrong with it.
Pathetic liar. Your cock and bull story is a stench of fallacy. Why lie to force down a fallacy? I say it with all certainty because I served in the military and had friends from all ethic groups. The c.oitus hospitality is just a myth and the stuff of fables.

Hi @OP, I have gone thru your story and the handwriting on the wall is so so clear! I will not beat about the bush becos u sought for candid advice. YOU DATED A MARRIED MAN! The signature behaviour is the classic case of a serial cheating husband. That cock and bull crap of "she has a kid for me but she aint good for me" is a common line of newly married "pussyphilic" nigerian men. The painful aspect is that many nigerian girls are emotionally wired to fall for it because it makes them feel better than the alleged "baby mama"!

Im married and proud and thats my 50 cents to you.
