Romance / Re: Help, Am Still A Virgin At 23 by Pakavy(m): 2:15am On Nov 02, 2012
Kelvin0: I Dont know how to start this but it's true, my problem started 6years ago when i was still a Teenager. I had met this girl whose name was Jennifer at my form one (ss1)and we had had a very nice time together but the problem then was that she never approved of sex. At first i had thought it was only natural as she was only 17 by then but i was wrong. She never changed her view of sex even when she clocked 20 and i respected and loved her so much to the extent i couldn't do any thing to hurt her and i also saw reasons with her then because i held the opinion that sex before marriage among teens was wrong and uncalled for. Aside that i felt that if i had sex with a girl i will dislike her immeadiately after the act, but now i dont know if i should be grateful to her for letting me hold such view about sex Because she broke up with me and since then i have not been able to pick my self from the ground and forge ahead. I realy need advice from you guyz. My problem is that i have not been able to look at any other girls face since we broke up (January 2010) and I heard from a friend that she is dating an old friend of hers now. and am still a virgin.
ur problem is just lack/lost of oppurtunity!

Cutex01: Do you allow your girlfriend or any female friend that is not a blood relation of yours pass the night in your house?
Personally i dont allow it, reason been that; anything bad could happen before day break, no one knows when death would come calling. God forbid bad thing if such should happen the rhythm no go sweet at all. So as a matter of principle i d0nt allow a girlfriend or a female acquintance pass the night in my house.

Romance / Re: Twenty Things A Man Should Know About A Lady by Pakavy(m): 10:53pm On Sep 27, 2012
Detonator-rex:
1.When a girl says she's sad, but
she isn't
crying, it means she's crying in her
heart.
2. When she ignores youafter
you've
done something wrong, it's best to
give
her some time to cool down
before
touching her heart with an
apology.
3. A girl can't find anything to hate
about the guy she loves(which is
why
it is so hard for her to 'get over
him'
after the relationship' s over.)
4. If a girl loves a guy, he will
always be
on her mind every minute of the
day,
even though she flirts with other
guys.
5. When the guy she likes smiles
and
stares deep into her eyes, she will
melt.
6. A girl likes to hear compliments,
but
usually not sure how to react to
them.
7. When a particular guy flirts with
a girl
very often, a girl would start
thinking
the guy likes her. So if you treat a
girl
just as a friend, go easy on the
smiles
and stare ok?
8. If you don't like a girl who likes
you,
break it to her gently.
9. If a girl starts avoiding you after
you
reject her, leave her alone for a
while. If
you still treat her as a friend, talk to
her.
10. Girls enjoy talking about what
they
feel. Music, poetry, drawings and
writing are ways of expressing
themselves (which explains why
most
girls like writing journals).
11. Never tell a girl that she is
useless in
anyway.
12. Being too serious can turn a
girl off.
13. When the guy she likes calls her
for
the first time, the girl may act
uninterested during the call. But as
soon as the phone is back on the
hook,
she will whoop with joy and
immediately start telephoning her
friends to spread the news.
14. A smile means a lot to agirl.
15. If you like a girl, try making
friends with her first. Let her get to
know you.
16. If a girl says she can't go out
with
you because she has to study,
leave.
17. But if she still calls you or
expect a
call from you, stay.
18. Don't try to guess a girl's
feelings.
Ask her.....
19. Hearing the words "Ilove you"
is a
great reassurance to a girl that she
is
beautiful.
20. After a girl falls in love with a
guy,
she'll wonder why she never
noticed
him before.
i do ladies not gals

Ji_sun_pack: I personally know the ediot. From a nail cutter to a driver at inland bank, met Isa Yuguda at the bank and married his sister and now a billionaire through fertilizer and car deals handed to him by the governor. He controls political thugs popularly known as "Yan sara suka" His eldest son is Mu'awuya, one arrogant mofo.

Hope they eliminate him after sucking up the last kobo in his possession. Good riddance to bad rubbish!

Education / Re: NUC Bans Re-sit Exams In Universities by Pakavy(m): 4:22pm On Sep 23, 2012
nas 00: @osheshe:

Your pains are understandable, but I'd say you should take it easy.
I don't consider the issue being discussed rocket science.

You see, it's not about trying to elevate one course above the other. From days of long ago, year-by-year guidelines for each course are (ideally) outlined in the Prospectus of each faculty in a standard university. If you go and check the prospectuses of institutions like U.I, O.A.U, UNILAG, I am certain you'll find out that NO grade point system course has provisions for resit exams BUT provision for carry over of COMPULSORY courses exist.
Whereas, if you check under the requirements for faculties like Vet. Medicine, Pharmacy and Medicine, resit exams are clearly spelt out.
In essence, it amounts to treachery to write resit exams (instead of carry-over) in grade point system courses. PARTICULARLY if marks scored in the previously failed exam will have no bearing on the student's final CGPA.
Although I have no solid proof,It's likely this is done exclusively in private universities, as the few government universities I know don't do it.

Instead of whining about this NUC decision and trying to justify a wrong precedence, what you should ask yourself is:
"Why doesn't it make SENSE for resit exams to be conducted in grade point system courses?"

If you have a thorough understanding of the CGPA system, and you are (at least) of average intelligence, I'm sure you will find the answer in you dear.

Conversely, "Why does it make sense for, say, medical students to write resit exams instead of carry-over (since you said all courses should be equal)?"

I'll give you the answer to this one: It's because ALL courses are compulsory in Medicine, Pharm, Vet, Physiotherapy. So, you WILL NEVER move on to the next level without passing all courses at the previous level first.

My dear, no need to over-flog this issue, and attack other people. The facts are well laid out.
Put sentiments away and let's move on.

I repeat, NUC on point smiley
well said, wit d absence of d d cgpa grade system and d chain prerequisites mbbs is gonna b hell on earth if dat ban xtends 2 it
