Hello house, please I av couple of questions I need answers to urgently so as to advise a sister. Is it okay for a wife and the husband to apply for study permit at d same time, or is it a red flag for visa denial? Another question is, assuming d husband decides to defer his application...can my sister apply for study visa with her two kids- one is just some months old n d other about 3years, or is this also a red flag for visa denial?
Please I need responses to these questions so as to be able to advise her correctly. Thanks a bunch

OK, I guess my husband should apply then since I may not be able to get straight masters degree. I used a b1/b2 visa for my kids birth (tourism/medical)and also sent mails before both birth to inform the embassy, paid my bills in full and have the zero balance letters(proof of full payment) .i recently renewed my visa and didn't get questioned by them because I guess they checked my record and noted that I wasn't in debt. We both intend applying for visitors visa first then later study visa for any of us who is better qualified for it.thanks alot

I got a PhD admission in UWO with 30000CAD scholarship. Please, I need answer to the following questions:
1. While submitting my documents, do I need to submit the original copies of my certificates (including marriage certificate)and transcript
2. Secondly, do I need additional proof of sufficient fund considering the fact that the scholarship will cover my living cost.

I have a few questions I need your help with please. I will appreciate your advices on this issue. 2014 I applied for Canadian study permit for myself and visitors visa for my husband using diploma in business administration (which should be one of the areas I messed up because I have been to law school and have a masters degree from a UK university although my first degree was seriously messed up.....third class from a Nigerian university) . I was really depressed after the denial and out of my stupid anger deleted all my log in details. I have tried remembering anything that can help me access the old application but can't and I have been told I need a certain number from that application. Please what do I do because I intend applying for a visitors visa first then later apply for the study permit to boost my chances(just guessing). Please what schools in ontario can offer me masters degree considering my 'bad first degree' or what course/level can I apply for to enable me get the study permit or should my husband apply for the study permit while I do the visitors visa to accompany him since he has just first degree although he made 2:2 and I know most schools accept just 2:1. Also, while trying to get over the depression caused by the study permit denial, I got pregnant and delivered twins so now I have 3 kids all under 3years who are American citizens by birth but I was told they also need to apply for tourists visa along with my husband(please how true is this?). I work with one of the paramilitary organizations in Nigeria along with my husband and in our previous application, we went through the online route but would like to go through the paper route now. oh, I didn't do upfront medical, I was called for medicals before I went for it, then I saw some fellas who came for upfront medical, so I only noticed that they were given their own e-medical sheet to either submit (paper applicants) or upload (online applicants).. @Jlakeside should help with your question, he did upfront too

Just a day. They'll give you an eMedical sheet 2 upload on your mYCIC acct at the end of the exercise if you're submitting online, but if it via paper you'll submit the eMedical sheet together with the rest of your documents.. I don't have any idea of the price at IOM Ikeja, I did mine at the consultant practice ikoyi-28k.

Was almost using an agent before a friend in Canada referred me here.
Number of trial:1
Paper Route Submission: Dec 21,2015.
Medical Call: Jan 25,2016.
Medical Done: Jan 29,2016
Medicals sent to embassy by Consultant Practice; Feb 2,2016
I now got more scared at this point cos I have read of many ppl that were denied after medicals.
My Heartbeat after this period increased.
Approval mail wasnt coming early as most ppl get it so I got terrified daily.
On Feb 19,2016 at 11.07am: Approval Mail from CIC.
I took special lessons from posts by Seiraries,HayqinsbFX,TheSoj,Tnuola and some other names I cant remember .

MSc Chemical Engineering,Dalhousie Univ.
First Degree was also Chem Engr.

Abeg guys when am I likely to get dispatch mail from VFS?
