Shyee: Hello house, I would like to know if anyone applied for PhD at MUN for Fall 2015 and has gotten the admission. Its been Application Complete for a while. Peace. Like MUN considers application and makes decision for admission one or 2 mths after department's dead line. Check the program you applied for to know which applies and you can also contact your grad cordinator to know the status of your app. |

9jabiggurl: Use ginni?? I have made up my mind to read the whole link back and forth like my life depends on it than pay about $2000 for an agent that will still send you around to get all the neccessary documentation...my boys will do well with that money and pray for me in their blabbing voices....
However, I am thinking....will allow my husby apply alone first so he can rack up all the points under "without a spouse" than he applies with points under"with a spouse" if he is applying with me then i have to spend money to evaluate credentials as well and also take the IELTS.....which are all EXPENSIVE....shebi when he gets his paper he can then apply for me to join him but then I am hoping to have my TRV by then for studies....
He will indicate been married but applying alone....
This thought was ran by a couple of friends hence I dont know if it will fly sha.... Lol! It all depends on you. But the fact that you'l be included will boost your hubby's points cos of your experience, just that you gat do test of english too and credential evaluation. Please, do you know if one could apply for a student visa while in canny on visiting visa? I PMed you sha.. |

9jabiggurl: In my opinion the EE will be HIGHLY Competitive and not to waste money, evaluate the best of the two....i mean my husby has got masters i dont hence he is more qualify.....i maybe more qualify with work experience but education wise....he stands a better chance with a 2.1 bsc and a merit from a uk masters....with abt 6years work experience. It is quite expensive really to run the two concurrently, but i will advice spouse takes the IELTS for more points....not sure about credential evaluation for the spouse though....will make my findings and get back to you but i doubt it carries any point as advised by an immigration lawyer in Canada....the most imp is the english test.... Well said babes! Are you using an agent for the EE application? |

nicholls2013: @9jabiggurl, please I want to ask concerning Canada EE please when applying as a principal applicant, does the dependant need to evaluate her credentials also or just the principal applicant?. Please reply. thanks Majorly d principal applicant. However, it's also advisable if dependant(spouse)has got educational pali's and job experiences to evaluate in other to boost dia points. My 2 cents. |

ryd3: Good morning, I really need Ur help guys. I intend going for a PhD in History. I don't want to dash them my money, so can u tell me how realistic it is having a PhD straight from Nigeria. Also I applied to university of Calgary, and was told after calling their dept that I need a language proficiency test result, which I don't have. She also stated that many people apply, but a very few are admitted. So can u advise me on what to do. Or should I go for another masters? I'm at a crossroad, want to apply today., which is a deadline. Thanks I advise you go in for a 2nd masters considering that PHD admission is very competitive and limited spaces available. With a good grade in masters then you move on to PHD. You do not need toefl for masters @ uni calgary, you only need to send letter of proficiency with your transcripts (1st and 2nd degree) from the University. Nigeria is exempted. Regards |

effectplus: Bros Siga...hw u doin' Sir?...pls, are u trying to say that any program someone wants to go for, e.g PG, it must go alongside ur work background. E.g, u work in a bank, n u wanna go for Msc in environmental policy(it doesn't correlate). Sir,u knw naija nah, we dnt work from discipline ethics...E.g, u see a biologist in bank...or as a marketer....e.t...c.... Or isn't it better to declare unemployed... What's d implication if one states he/she isn't employed?... Environmental policy is an interdisciplinary course that any1 from different first degree background such as Arts n Humanities, Social sciences, health related course n co can apply . All one needs to do is give a good SOP while you want to take up such program. Its all about God anyway and packaging. @ effect plus! U looking @ E. P? |

saxywale: the one my toddler attends cost $880/month full time and part time is $480/month. The poster might need to work around that figure.
It would vary according to location and reputation of the daycare. Home care givers may or may not be a cheaper option.
I am yet to find a cheap daycare or caregiver though. Thanks |
