BusinessRe: The Amount Petrol Should Be Sold In Nigeria. by paniki(m): 11:35pm On Oct 28, 2011
N30 = $0.19 and you say Nigerians shouldn't be buying petrol for more than N30? Hahahahaha. With the examples you gave Nigeria comes third cheapest but you still have dreams of petrol being cheaper if refineries were workin. I like your thinking.

nolongthing, it's you again. I see that you like researching South Africa as much as I like researching Nigeria. The problem is that you rely too much on numbers compiled by the biased western people. The truth is that the real numbers are actually worse than the western rubbish you gleaned from the interwebs.

Statistics South Africa conducts a yearly survey which they call General Household Survey. This survey looks into education, health, housing, energy, water, sanitation and food access. These are the real and official findings www.statssa.gov.za/publications/P0318/P0318June2010.pdf

Please go to the Stats SA website to find other real numbers www.statssa.gov.za

Pity that the Nigerian National Bureau of Statistics doesn't have comprehensive of even reliable numbers, so we(including Nigerians) have to rely on estimate numbers compiled by the usually biased west. www.nigerianstat.gov.ng/

PoliticsRe: If Africa Has An Official Language, What Would It Be? by paniki(m): 11:00pm On Oct 27, 2011
Please re-write your post in Swahili or Hausa. Truth is that most African and world languages are not scientific. Modern science is full of Greek and Latin words which have now become mainstream English. Even a simple word such as 'compute' is Greek. Now tell me what is 'compute' or 'computer' in Hausa.

Even with all the problems outlined by the poster, Nigeria still manages to be among the countries with the cheapest price per liter petrol in the world.

LiteratureRe: Why Books Are Pirated In Nigeria -By Tayo Demola by paniki(m): 10:35am On Oct 27, 2011
knowledge should be free for all. If patent and copyright law were to be abolished then America, Japan and a few other economies would become crippled. Knowledge should be free for all.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria: The Population Time Bomb by paniki(m): 10:24pm On Oct 26, 2011
By 2041 most unskilled and repetitive manufacturing jobs will be done by humanoid robots with well developed artificial intelligence. Humans will only be require to do 'mental work' which requires heavy investment in education and knowledge development. By 2040 there will be no need for a human to do any physical work and with even greater and faster internet 'mental work' will be done by anyone anywhere. A engineer in Nairobi will supervise a construction project of humanoid robots in Cairo. A surgeon in Lagos will perform a heart transplant on a patient in Addis Ababa(these surgeries are happening now in the first world).
PoliticsRe: Can Nigeria Ever Become A Developed Country ? by paniki(m): 12:14pm On Oct 26, 2011
If there are cranes and general construction work going on in Nigerian, then the answer to your question is YES.

Try and Advice the White Folks who are oppressing you and your Corson, Suthu and the rest of una people. Take your silly advice out of this place. I met a lot of South Africans on SAA while returning back to 9ja coming here to work, and I asked the Colored woman sitting almost next to me, if she got papers, but she laughed and never responded like she got 1. Una know our Home Affairs? Why do you think he will end in Crime? Is it only Nigerians that are doing the Crime there? Or na we bring HIV come SA? Don't ever try to address a Nigerian like you superior to anyone of them, cause you are a Slave in SA. Look at this Location Resident. Hissssss
Your sour vitriol will not change the situation. Omo oso will be an illegal immigrant. He will not be able to take part in the formal economy which is highly leveraged on credit. If he manages to make an honest living, he will not be able to pay tax which is unlawful. By overstaying his travel visa and remaining in SA means that his entire stay in SA will be on an illegal foundation. Giving a few examples of people staying in Nigeria illegaly and using that to excuse illegal Nigerians in SA is just plain stupid. Your bitterness is making you look dumb.

Interesting. But the price of feul in Nigeria is shockingly cheap even without the subsidy. I guess it helps to have oil in your backyard.

Omo oso:
now that i have got the SA tourist visa cant i see place to stay in order to hustle there? any link pls.
I'm amazed by your plans to overstay your travel visa and then hustle. This mean that you will be an illegal immigrant which will open you up to all the bad that South Africa has on offer. You will not be able to paticipate in the formal economy meaning that you will have a hard time if not an impossible time to make a legit living in SA. This will lead you to do others things which will make me and many other South Africans angry. But good luck, and remember - no crime.
Foreign AffairsRe: Is Gaddafi A Dictator? by paniki(m): 4:00pm On Oct 23, 2011
The Chinese leaders have an agreement with their people: we will uplift you and provide a better life for you but you must not oppose anything we do, you must just shut up and watch us work for you. Gaddafi had a similar agreement with the Libyans.
