Tax payers money... |
Namaster:It's unbelievable! A slap on the wrist. I had to read it twice. |
CountinBlessins:I've been following the case from the beginning. I understand it's an emotional one. His lawyer even submitted a falsified letter. It angered the judge. |
CountinBlessins:I condemn rape in all its forms. I know some details about this case. There's more to this story than what is written here. He was being financially blackmailed, when he didn't cave in, they framed him. He didn't go to the station to bribe anyone, he tried to report the case. Also, the test results didn't find point at him, it only said she has been penetrated before. Be careful out there, the world is very wicked and will mess you up. Don't be too quick to believe stuff. |
She knows we are an emotional people. I'm sure she makes more than some people's 9-5. If she can't even do cleaning jobs make she get out. There's dignity in labour |
Omihanifa:Omo... So it was discovered abroad. This product is currently being sold freely and harming people without their knowledge. Sometimes that NAFDAC number is there for decoration. |
7.30am, or earlier in the morning, already marking register. Who a healthy liver epp sef? |
If you've seen the drainages, canals and the streets in Lagos, you'd appreciate this ban. It's littered everywhere. People will just not properly dispose them, even while driving they flip it through the window. Let them find a more environmentally friendly alternative... And hope it's not black nylon ![]() |
Poor leadership. Buhari should have asked him; "This and this are what is said about you, how true is that?" Give him the chance to confirm or deny the allegations. That's being fair. Letting things happen until they get messy is poor leadership. You put controls and be on top of every case, everyone answers to you. |
Source: "Trust me, I no fi lie for you" |
Karbswell:Well done. Let me follow you first for a possible discussion in the future. |
I don't understand, we knew this since na. Why is the alarm ringing now? They should not stress o |
Nice and commendable, kudos to your hustling spirit and wishing you the best. But I'm concerned with the cleanliness. From the waterside to the way it was getting stepped on... To later go straight to the grinding machine at the markets... |
diamond68:It shows they know the place, the house and the car. It may not even be their car but a person's car who dropped it for a repair or something. |
LikeAking:The topic should have been closed after this comment. |
The kind of topics I'd like to see more on Nairaland. Not all those depressing and alarming news |
Once the adrenaline went down, he would have seriously felt the pains. I wonder if he would be charged but if he is, he'll spend a good time in prison awaiting trial. |
I've read enough comments and thoughts in the past to always know you should not discourage people from doing stuff. You'll be labelled a hater. Please go ahead and find out by yourself, fates are different. It didn't work for A, doesn't mean it wouldn't work for B. But still, nothing is certain. Sadly, these decisions are harder when children are in the picture. To any young graduate struggling with underemployment here or harsh business environment, I'd say gamble it away and go for legal ways of hustling. You're young enough to recover. |
emmabest2000:Na one concoction or agbo him chop or drink. |
Glad that action is being taken. Many public and private institutions are being run down by the staff. You'd wonder why supermarkets, canteens and bars insist in you getting your receipts. You can't let your guard down for a second, you do that, and you're over charged. |
Beer parlour discussion. NNPC is not a regulator. They should properly interview the workers but who would trust such a journalist to not misquote them? |
That's terrifying. I'm sure the video is being used as a warning to future "applicants" who fail the "interview". |
Udemy has been wonderful for me. There are various courses on every topic to choose from. From the sample videos of the course I check the English fluency of the instructor before getting them. There's a particular course where the instructor had replied to every single one of my questions. Before paying, ensure you check the same course in different browsers, I noticed the price changes. If it's more that 3K naira, I'll use the incognito window. It usually gives a better price. |
You'll notice within the article the several attempts to appeal to your emotions: the life-threatening transplant, the betrayal of trust, the widows, the retirees, the rekindling of lost trust... This article is a scam. An attempt by the owners (or someone else) to divert the blame. See how they praise the CEO for a platform that has been reported to be a Ponzi scheme before it even got busted. Googling the name reveals more truth about the platform. They're trying to play with your intelligence, don't let them! |
Wow, the parents are included! |
Ruthie0224:Iyana Ipaja to CMS CMS to Eko Hotel Roundabout From Eko Hotel roundabout you can trek to the street |
I got to pass by the Warri refinery recently. People built their houses and shops around it. So yes, Lagos is the best place, apparently, people don't mind those gases..... for now.... |
I used to wonder why they keep building luxury houses daily in Lekki when people complain the country bad. |
Left to some people, they'll bring back slavery. A 9-year old should be learning and playing, not being anybody's maid. |
There's this common belief in the streets that money can get you anything; legal or illegal. These are two parents trying to save their daughter, but opted, possibly out of desperation, to go the street way. It's easy to have the poor and vulnerable do your bidding with money. If the guy hadn't been poor, he wouldn't have agreed to the deal. It's an open secret the guy knew what he was traveling to do, possibly decided to cast the matter when he was no match after the medical test and he wasn't paid. Well, let's see how it goes. Ministers in the UK are forced to resign for flouting some laws like traffic laws, now imagine being accused of human trafficking.... They no go send you. |
