muib: what are u saying if muslim women that wish to wear hijab are banned from doing so,thats pathetic!..if the muslims voice there displeasure and the government doesnt listen ofcos they are going to protest!..even in britain muslim females wear niqab!..and if u knw what niqab is....You mean your brothers are going to start killing non-muslims if I may ask. Politics is different from religion, and that's what i want Muslims to stick at the back of their fanatical minds. To protest peacefully is one thing, and to start killing people is totally another story, well, as long as it gets you paradise, isn't it? |
King harzyz: Dont know what this religion has done to deserve all this beef. Christians are beefing b'cos there religion doesnt have principles and guidelines. Its just a religion formulated after someone death. Do you want muslim children to start dressing half naked and take liquor in the class room as christian childrens are doing in schools?. NO ISLAM NO PARADISE. #gbabe#I believe what you wanted to say is "No Killing No Aljanna" , call it paradise if you want to. Well, one guideline Christians do not certainly have is how to strap bombs around someone and detonate it with either a mobile phone or one-touch button. And regarding principles, Christians do not have the principle of retaliation. You kill for the sake of religion after the slightest provocation and you call that religion? Dressing stylishly or provocatively (well, we call it fashion) does not take away your right to a beautiful paradise. Infact, your burqas or hijabs are not a prerequisite to the muslim paradise. Or have you forgotten what your prophet told you about entering paradise in the hadith? Let me remind you (1) spread the greeting of peace, (2)feed the poor and needy, (3)behave kindly to your relatives, (4) offer prayers when others are asleep and (5) Enter paradise (just like enter the dragon ![]() Everyone will be accounted for on the day of judgement including the 70,000 your islam claim that won't be requested to give account. In a nutshell, I guess the hadith didn't tell none of you to obey higher authority. |
ivoice247: To all my muslim sisters attending public schools wearing the hijab. Don't be afraid, Allah knows your desires and knows your faith, and allah will never reduce your reward if you're prevented from wearing the hijab for allah knows the secrets of the souls. Here's a few quotes for muslim men and women from the hadith and quran to help you lighten your burden;-This is exactly what terrorists say when they are about to kill hundreds of innocent victims. What reward could you possibly get when you disobey the law of the land? A country that fails to control and tame ignorant Islamic fanatics like many on this forum is a danger to itself. Yoruba muslims are followers of this so-called religion and have no idea what it really takes to be a muslim. Yoruba muslims are cowards, they can't kill Kafir(non-believers) as commanded by the quran, yet they talk the biggest. |
ivoice247: Thank you jare... even if they wear burqa sef there's nothing wrong with it. So long the students and teachers can identify the girl wearing it and she's not disturbing any of her classmates with it.Religion is a monster, it turns you into a masquerade and later eat up all your psyches and intellect. God saw everything He created that they were beautiful. Who are we then as human to hide such glory and beauty for the sake of some selfish, ignorant, possessed, low self-esteem, apprehensive and deluded scholars calling themselves muslim brothers and Sheiks. It was ignorance that first started the whole hijab and burqqa thing. Muslim women are like slaves to their husbands. While they seat and care for the children, their husbands goes about town enjoying other women. Now that these women are now seeing the light it has become increasingly difficult to change that tradition. Hijab or Burqa has nothing to do with serving Allah, but it has alot to do with serving men. |
Enough of this religion bashing though. Conclusion: If the banning is imposed, and Muslims feel aggrieved, let them take their wards (children) out of those public schools affected by the new rules and enrol them at Islamic schools. Government have no control over Madarasatu's and Islamic schools. I still think hijab should also be banned in government or private companies. NTA is a shamble for allowing hijab to be worn on national (sometimes intl) tv. Banks should stop hiring people with hijab. No sentiment should be allowed when portraying the image of Nigeria. |
ivoice247: Islam is our way of life. As a muslim, islam has taught us how to dress, eat, sleep, drink, fight, bath, how to perform marriages, naming ceremonies etc etc even sef, islam has taught us how to have sex with our partners in bed. So why should we listen to a mere common governor who doesn't know his position with GOD almighty, rather we'll obey our lord and submit to our religion which maintains that all girls that have reached the age of puberty and all women that have not yet reached menopause must wear a hijab when in public or when in the presence of men who are not part of their family.Islam is not a way of life, It is total submission to the will of Allah. This means there are no discretions when muslims are making decisions. They must abide and follow the Quran to the letter, and we all know what the Quran says about non-muslims. I think Muslims are the most intolerable people on the planet. Call any of their prophets names, Jihad is what you get. They always feel oppressed. Christian don't care what name you call Jesus or any other apostles. "Revenge is mine" says God. Why wouldn't these lots allow Allah to judge for them? I know, it's called ignorance and religion aggressiveness. |
deols: the way you talk borders on your upbringing. I wouldnt trade insults with you.Ofcourse Nigerians do have the right to practice their religious beliefs without fear, but such practice must still be in-line with the constitution. Having rights to practice something does not automatically gives you the power to conflict with such rights. |
deols: I hope it isnt true. What if it is true, what would you do? Gather them like-minded people like you and start bombing? Or rather request a dialogue with the government like a real peaceful people would do. You choose! |
@all, common sense should solve this issue and not some myopic and opinionated mindset. Hijab should be worn, but at where? Ofcourse at Madarasatu and Islamic schools. The law allows you to practice any religion but such religion must still adhere to the law (constitution) of such country. Nigeria is ruled by constitution and not by sharia law. It is ignorance and overly-religious act that still makes people think they can overrule the constitution of Nigeria with their religious belief. And it is preposterous and capital murder to even think of retaliation or fight back from the Muslim world when this law is passed. France have banned the use of hijab at schools and government buildings. For Nigeria to be better, religion such as Islam must be tamed. They are spiralling out of hand. They should be told that the peace they claim to be their motto is not their friend at all. If you claim to be peaceful, you should be tolerant and obey rules. |
ifyalways: Boy or girl?Seems 2face got the dominant gene, the semblance is glaring. How can you tell after just 48hrs of child birth? Samblance only comes after a year darling. It's a myth that one can tell samblance of a child to the parent just after birth. |
cugresources: It is only 2 in every 1000 Ibo vs Yoruba marriage that survives it out of God's mercy to prove sth. 10 in every 100 Ibo vs Niger Delta marriage survives cos they share close to similar culture and values. no figure for Ibo vs Hausa cos it rarely occurs. So brother, yours might be amongst the few that thrived...but be open, your brothers marry Ibos just to show ego! not becos they love Ibos, cos u yorubas hate Ibos to the core, just like the fact that their ladies are so cute, neat and industrious! Are Boko Haram's then doing justice to what you just said?. You should be ashamed of yourself for coming out here and excreting your filthy garbage. I now see why we as Nigerians lack cohesion, peace, progress and above all tolerance. You all profess that you love God (most Igbos are Christians) but still allowing this tribal cankerworm to be eating you up. If you could do this here, what happened if you get profiled in the United States? Hope you're not going to be shouting the race card, I bet you wouldn't. |
strangerf: @OP:@NLanders, I believe this is the man that broke this lady's heart. You're a heartless piece of poo. Your curses are yours and would never be the potion of the lady involved. You should be ashamed of yourself. |
REALITY101: Sure why not.It is ignorant arss tribalist like you that still plague Nigeria with this curse of obtrusiveness of progress. This is the 21st century baby, and you're still embroiled with this filthy game of card. A man responsibleness does not lie with what colour or tribe he comes from, but lie with the level of degree to which he has educated himself. A man's aggressiveness has nothing to do with his tribe, however, it is still a biopsychosocial problem. When self-control breaks down, aggression find its way in. There are five factors that causes aggression, 1. Neurosis, 2. desperation, 3.Envy, 4. Greed, and 5. Collectivism. Self-actualize (fulfilled) people are less likely to be aggressive or abusive. So, to be abusive means to be intolerant and unreasonable. Every man regardless of where they come from have one or all traits of an aggressive man. |
justwise: You should be the last person here to say that, you support fraud, you encourage fraud, you have started 2 fraudulent threads in Travel Section and the moment you got caught you quickly deleted your post.I can carve-out some of those threads, so i don't come here to sound decent because you are far from it.In as much as I have not defrauded any one and there are no suggestion or fact to say otherwise, I am entitle to open any topic for trending sake. I support common sense and initiative and not fraud @Justwise. People are now very wise and would do anything to achieve their dreams and goals. I might even come here tomorrow and post any thing that would help fellow Nigerians either to regularise their stay or achieve their targets. People like you are the ones labelling Nigerians all over even though you're not Nigerian. Do you really want to know how thousands of Nigerians get their papers in the UK? Then you and your brothers need to start knocking on doors. Well, lets not divert the course of this sensitive topic. Open another thread and we shall continue from there. |
justwise: If Malaysians hate us that much why then are we going there in numbers? We are failing to address the real issue here which is our behaviour!! If Malaysians hate us because we are black Africans, how about South Africa? They love and cherish us there? Ghana? From my own mind of thought, outrightly, people have failed in their bid to understand the enormity of the challenges facing Nigeria and the great danger and disparity of Western world's agenda toward 3rd world countries. People like justwise should always reason and respect other people's view and not impose anything on any one. I used to reason like some of you guys long time ago, but as time goes by and with experience and knowledge I have ceased to allow my prompt judgement on things to cloud my sense of reasoning and intellect. I don't solicit for or condone bad behaviour. I detaste any criminal attitude. But saying the likes of Ghana and SA hate us is totally false and erroneously misleading. I'm not disputing that Nigerians do have issues with these nations, but that would be in the competitive side. Nigerians are very ambitious, industrious and innovative. These countries are sceptical of Nigerians overtaking them in terms of businesses and entrepreneurship, hence their hostility toward Nigerians. Nigerians are not criminals. And in every nation there are bad eggs and those willing to tarnish the image of their great nations. I've seen Britons behaving badly and very into criminal activities. Same goes to Americans and the rest of the world. Mr Nwankwo might just be one of those disgracing Nigeria, but that does not collectively makes us Nigerians irresponsible or criminal. Crime is a social construct. Your outcry to certain behaviour often prompt the law makers to react to such outburst. I therefore implore Nigerians from henceforth to desist from using 'NIGERIANS' as a collective noun when addressing any crime or behaviour involving Nigerians. God bless Nigeria and no place else ![]() |
justwise: You are really educated paris10, you don't need to tell us we can see it from all your posts.Lol whitey. Enjoy |
justwise: Trust me bro, you are barking at the wrong tree, paris10 is naturally dumb, you can educate him all you want, he will never get it.Responding to you is a total waste of time. I now concur and conjure with the ancestral powers to bless you with the tragic incident that happened to Mr Nwankwo. Oh, you mean you want to educate your educator, pls cut the crap ok. You and I know that I'm one of the few most educated person on this forum. Talking about all round sound in all topics. Let me not boast jor. I'm beginning to doubt if you went to school (college or University) at all. Didn't they teach you to be constructive in your responses? Or are you this dump that you can't even question any thing at all? Would you just accept that your wife cheated on you if someone from no where told you so? I bet you would 'cause you don't have a brain. I don't know what else to get. I've already by His grace gotten enough out of education. I am well educated in virtually all fields. You need to get your white a.s.s back to school. Just heed my advice. Do what I've told you to do. Don't need your response to this post, but if you must you're the b.a.s.t.a.r.d I've always known you to be. |
MRbrownJAY: again, you are focusing on what is NOT important here. whether he was approached violently or not is irrelevant. these are local police officers enforcing local laws, if anyone doesnt like the way they behave/act/treat people, then they should get the fukc back to their home country, et voila, case solved! but if anyone is going to stay in a foreign country then they have to abide by their laws and regulations........and if police come to arrest you, COMPLY!!!! whether the charges are bogus or not, thats for the court to decide. No doubt that the country in question has helped you a lot, and no doubt that it has helped countless of Nigerians out there. But do we because we are being helped turned the deaf ears to burning issues? I know you're a conformist and probably thinking you'd never be in police or authority net. Think again! 10,000 people are innocently convicted in the United States every year, some of them on death row. In 2007, the UK justice system condemned 11,400 people to prison without being guilty of charges levelled against them. So you think you are immune from miscarriage of justice, please wise up. I pray that you don't end up being convicted or arrested for a crime you do not know anything about. And peradventure you find yourself in that situation, you'd then realise that the KL authority you think are your friends would practically become your worse enemy overnight. So pray. |
udogati: I know this because I live in KL. So I know. I'm sorry this offends you, but it is the truth.I'm not in any way offended. |
maybe nigerian men should be given a primer on behavior and etiquette before leaving to go to a foreign country. that was a very outrageous behavior on his part. but he should have been tried by a court rather than beaten to death. no doubt his race probably played a role in his death.
@c.fours, there is no harm in you expressing yourself or voicing out your opinion, but saying Nigerian men should be given a primer on behavior and etiquette just sums up my opinion of you. No doubt that we as Nigerians speaks aggressively (it's in our nature) and our men do most times beat up their wives, but i'm telling you this, we ain't no paedophiles nor child molesters. The Yankees(New English settlers) and the English are. I don't know which country you currently reside, but look up statistics and see for yourself who are generally the s.e.xx offenders. We are practically and predominantly the only nation with accommodative spirit without bias or prejudice. We love every body and welcome every body whole-heartedly. Mr Nwankwo could possibly be among those Nigerians in diaspora who as a result of the pressure to succeed diminish mentally into a state of melancholic depression. Should we then generalize that all Nigerian men are in the same state with this deceased? Categorically NO! People need help and they need you to help them. If you see any one behaving so erotically to the opposite sex with the intention of molesting or raping them, they probably need help. Seek help for them. |
udogati: This! What a total waste of space. Please go back to your write-up (the highlighted ones) and see if it does make sense to you. No doubt that Mr Nwankwo spoke to the lady in question. He might as well had crush on the lady. And i'm in no way disputing that he didn't in any way caressed this lady. But saying Nwankwo threw a brick at a RELA immediately after getting off the lift was a total farce. So you mean to tell me that Mr Nwankwo knew that that day he was going to throw bricks at RELA's, hence him having the bricks in his pocket or bag? Where could he have possibly gotten the bricks from? In the lift? Or did Mr Nwankwo quickly left the building and came back with a brick? Having a relationship with another woman older than you whilst trying to get married is not a crime. Except perhaps Mr Nwankwo was married to this older woman, then we could say he had committed bigamy. Saying most Nigerian in that country are on a bogus student visas is totally preposterous and devilishly misleading. Haven't you seen people on a student visa spending more years studying than Mr Nwankwo did? Or are you so unreasonable that you've already condemned the dead? Pls let us be more careful in judging too quickly. |
alj harem: She might even have been turn off by his approach. She reported him does not mean she did not tempt him or does it ?Thank you for your reasoning. Some people can't just think. Reporting someone for an alleged crime does not in any way mean they've actually committed that crime. People report crime for various reasons: some for vicious unfounded gain, some for jealousy, some do it for fun while some do it as a result of unresponsive incoherent approach from the accused. Lets assumed the dead guy actually committed the alleged crime, does that in any way justify his death? |
oduasolja: typical igbo behaviour.I de-taste statements like that. This is a world-wide issues. In-fact you're 1000 times more like to be sexually attacked by a white dude than a black man. But you're 5000 times more likely to be killed by gun by a black man than a white man. It's therefore not a tribal issue my friend. When there's a chemical inbalance in the hormones, affected patients are likely to behave abnormally. This is a biological problem, couple with social affiliation. Patients of these disease should always be treated and through psychometric evaluations. Psychiatrist should also be contacted. |
justwise: Silly cow, i wouldn't insult your family as they got nothing to do with this.I see you always call people animal. Only white dudes do that. So you're a stinking conformist and a gullible ignorant piece of crap. You can't even make an argument. If someone or a police ('cause you love them) should call your mum or sister a criminal, would you just say yes they are criminal or simple ask them to provide proof of their accusations? If you then say yes you accept their alleged accusations without proof ('cause police are your friends and can't be wrong), then you're a b.a.s.t.a.r.d with moronic view. |
airmark: How could you unveil ur joystick to a woman like that? Some men are animals. You're one of the unreasonable and gullible people out there. Just because it was alleged that he revealed his manhood does not mean he actually did. Nigerians, wake up and be more constructive in your response to issues, then you'd move forward. Question everything that looks suspicious, and refrain not from criticising any wrong doing. But be careful when doing this. You must then critically examine and thoroughly evaluate every single incident. Don't jut make your assumptions based on an hear-say. Does it make sense to you when they said the guy brought out his third leg in public? Does it also make sense to you when they said he resisted arrest, hence the beaten? Don't you know that Asian police do not go in two's. There must have been probably upto 8 to 10 police officers violently torturing this dude when being arrested. Can beaten someone to death for resisting arrest be justified? I believe in welfare rather than punishment. Did you know the bombing of the twin towers in US was as a result of a non-conformist boiling point from those oppressed? Don't think you understand. |
Has anyone stopped to pause ask a few questions? How true was the accusation? Before anyone says why would a woman accuse anyone of such, Joseph in the bible was accused too. The case of Strauss-Kahn is just months back. Yes, he may well have done it. Some of our people hear these old wives' tale of how Asiatic men have tiny manliness and that their women are prowling around for huge black manliness. A very misguided belief. While a woman who fancies you would welcome your endowment as an extra bonus, it doesn't men that all their women want it. From experience, their ladies are quite tight down there, maybe that's why their men don't have to be well-endowed Yes, he may well have done it. justwise: You are a glorified animal, sadly massive fools like you are allowed to live. under normal circumstances i would have been polite with my replies to you but i don't regard you as a decent human being as a result all you deserve from me is a well measured insult free of charge.I wish you could just show a picture of yourself here to proof my assertion that you're not a Nigerian. You're a slowpoke. I believe you were born indecently through anal thrusting (so are the rest of the members of your white a.s.s family).I believe you live in a trailer or perhaps a caravan and having intimate with your sisters (these are what your white a.s.s people do). We as Nigerians will not tolerate the unjust killings of our fellow Nigerians when not convicted of a crime. No one should put the law unto their hands. Let the court decide who is guilty and who is not, who lives and who get put to death either through electric chair or lethal injection. The death of Trayvon Martin is another example of this cruel and unjust crime committed against black people. I bet your a.s.s wouldn't live to see today if you were in the states and justifying the death of this innocent teen. Innocent in the sense that he was killed unjustly. I'm always available to make sense. |
MRbrownJAY: bro, you are missing the point COMPLETELY.......it doesnt matter how/who/what/where or why he did what he did. the issue is that she claimed HE DID IT, and the police came to arrest him. now, he should have comply with the police and go and settle the matter at the police station. THEY ARE THE LAW and if they come and arrest you, you have to abide by their laws, and FOLLOW THEM. who is he that he wanted to go against the local laws? anywhere in the world, he would have been roughed up or tazed before sent to the station, but ONE THING is sure, he would have been arrested. So you think the police came gently at him abi? He has just been accused of molesting a female, what do you think those Asian police would do first? You think they would just tell him kindly " hey, you're under arrest"? Think again. I believe he was approached violently by the police. I believe when he couldn't bear the pain any more, he tried putting up a little front to claim his human rights. The point is, this guy human rights was violated. No evidence suggested that he possessed any weapon as at the point of arrest. Therefore, he was no threat to the police. He was killed unjustly regardless of where he came from. Moreover, he was from the greatest country on earth..NIGERIA!!! |
justwise: Oh well. . . he can now go and sleep with as many women as possible down 6fit.This just shows how ignorant, insensitive, immature and politically uninformed some of you are. No authority would agree to killing a citizen of another country unjustly, but instead would cook up stories about some "previous accusations or charges" to justify the unjust killing of an innocent man. I called him innocent because he was not charged, tried, or convicted as at the point of his death. Learn! |
justwise: That is really sad, unfortunately he is not alive now to defend the allegation but if the allegation is true then i can only feel sorry for his family. How can an allegation be true when there is no defendant to answer the charges or allegation against him/her? How would they proof otherwise? So sad how we as Nigerians are so quick to label our own. Being a Nigeria does not confer an automatic guilt to any accusation labelled against us. We must always strive to balance every equation. There are bad eggs in every society, even in the United Kingdom so many of you consider as a holy place. |
Why no sympathy for the dead man? Becos his Nigeria? and those saying the Nigerians did wrong by taking the laws into their own hands; what about the people who beat someone to death. Properties can be replaced but the life that was lost can't be replaced! If someone committed a crime of indecency he should be punished according to the laws not beaten to death. I wonder why malaysia ranks amongst the top countries in the world when such barbaric acts still exist in their society. Have visited Kuala lumpur once and and I can say malaysians are racist and detest blacks! I keep wondering what Nigerians keep doing there. Its hard to say Nigerians should all come home as some do have legitimate businesses there but if you can't be protected what's the reward of staying somewhere fearing for your life every minute. I feel bad for this man who diedd without getting to defend himself. Its nearly impossible for a young man his age to be hitting on 40+ old malaysian woman. P*ssy is like the cheapest and our Nigerian boys get it almost for free . So the story does not add up!
This is one of the few post with a lot of sense in it. I see some have already convicted the guy. He was accused of a crime which hasn't been proved in the court of law yet. He is dead and that alone will never termed him a criminal anymore. |
Well, I guess that's how most of you were all raised..by a slut! Exception would go to mothers who marry their husbands as virgins. A reformed slut is a woman who finally settled down. We often associate slut to only those on the street and hotels. What about those miscellaneous d.i.c.k that our girlfriends, wives, mothers and sisters have taken before finally settling down? So you're saying because they don't parade the streets and auction at hotels they shouldn't be called slut? And if you dare base your argument that atleast these lot do not sell their bodies for monetary or material gain, I would argue otherwise. Segun, Arinze, Nnamdi, Tunde, Effiong, Imokhuede and hosts have all taken you out for shopping, eateries, and to the movies, then big time banging! What would you call this? Slut or home prostitution, you choose! So if you want to marry a saint, please wait for your delivery, heaven is manufacturing one for you! Rubbish. |
