Tonto is the only "celebrity" in the world with the most tweets but fewer followers. She has tweeted approximately 58,000 times and has followers of about 98,000. She's addicted to tweeting, and now affected with tweet syndrome, hence, her behaving badly. |
icon8: Are you sure you're alright? I really doubt you are! We are just outsiders? How are you an insider? Pray, tell! JT's always gone away with murder? He must have killed only members of your immediate family for you to be the only person who knows this? And mind you oga, most of those rubbish you listed below are not criminal offences, but civil disobedience. You really need to be schooled: see what half-education has done to you...what a pity!!!Let me put this in plain text...GO BACK TO SCHOOL!!! |
davies123: I don't think u r reading what people think of your post! Its is the worst post here!If u did read them u won't still here.My only answer to your ignorance is start from page one and read peoples reaction to what u posted and then decide for urself the name to call youself!I won't do that for u!Who give a fcuuk what people think?! Common barricade of insults coming from myopic and opinionated gullible Nigerians won't stop me from airing my point or opinion. Silly and ignorant Nigerians don't know when to call God's name. Some of you silly a.s.s go to the embassy and even plead in the name of God with the E.C.O or C.O for your visa to be granted. What most of you don't know is that in the secular world, you only act professional and not religious. White men see your God's calling as hypocrisy and lack of professionalism. Anyone can call Terry anything. It's a free world, and one should be able to express his/herself the way they like without fear or prejudice. If you're a Chelsea supporter, Terry is a great player. Likewise if you're a true Chelsea supporter, you should be able to commend Terry for his contribution to football, but also condemn his behaviour as a person. N.B.. When secular matters like this is trending, pls and pls, keep it secular and don't be religious about it. A message to my Nigerian brothers and sisters only! It is high time we started using our common sense! Remember this "..Children of the world are more wiser than children of the kingdom?" |
Dangerous cases of faith leaders who tell people with HIV to stop taking their life-saving drugs have been identified by African-led community groups in a number of locations across England. Seven groups said there were instances of people being told by faith leaders they had been "healed" through prayer - and then pressured to stop taking antiretroviral medication, according to the charity African Health Policy Network (AHPN). Cases were reported to have taken place in Finsbury Park, Tottenham, and Woolwich, in London, as well as in Manchester, Leeds and at a number of churches across the North West. Last year, BBC London identified three people with HIV who died after they stopped taking antiretroviral drugs on the advice of their Evangelical Christian pastors. AHPN, which tackles health inequalities for Africans living in the UK, called on the government to do more to prevent faith leaders encouraging people with HIV to stop taking their drugs. "The government, the department of health, and local authorities are not doing enough to respond to this," said Jacqueline Stevenson, AHPN's head of policy. Multiple cases A Department of Health spokesman said: "Prayer is not a substitute for HIV treatment and we would be very concerned if people are not taking their medication on the advice of faith leaders." AHPN said the cases reported to it by community groups showed: Most respondents were aware of more than one case of faith healing claims and pressure to stop taking medication. One member was aware of five cases Many followers believed the testimony of pastors who claimed they could heal them The majority of cases reported involved Evangelical or Pentecostal Christian pastors In some cases treatment has been restarted, in others the health and mental health of clients has declined. Although community groups said they were aware of multiple cases, the members who reported being exposed to faith healers were unwilling to name the churches involved. AHPN's Ms Stevenson said: "People were reluctant to name the churches and pastors." Cancer 'cure' Last year AHPN said it believed the Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), which has UK headquarters in Southwark, south London, may be one of those involved in such practices. Synagogue Church Of All Nations says: "Never a disease God cannot cure." The church is headed by Pastor T B Joshua, who the Forbes richlist named as Nigeria's third richest clergyman. SCOAN's website, which was set up in Lagos, Nigeria, now shows videos of people the church claims have been "cured" of HIV through prayer. One video shows a woman Agnes Agnote visiting the church in Nigeria saying: "I am HIV positive. I went to the hospital and they confirmed it was HIV/Aids." The video then shows Pastor Joshua blessing her, saying "everyone is healed". It goes on to show Ms Agnote apparently showing a more recent medical report, with a narrator saying, "it clearly states that Agnes tested negative to HIV Aids". Videos on the website also depict people being cured of "cancers" and "disabilities". 'Anointing sticker' tour The church's British website now gives accounts of people reporting to be healed from conditions including arthritis and a lung blood clot after being a sprayed with "anointing water" by SCOAN in the UK. It promotes a monthly "anointing water prayer line" in London "for any health issues" and advertises an "anointing sticker" tour of the UK and Ireland, which begins on Monday. Continue reading the main story “ Start Quote Faith organisations can make a positive contribution to raising awareness of HIV highlighting the benefits of testing and effective antiretroviral treatment” Department of Health Last year, when asked by the BBC if it claimed its pastors could cure HIV, SCOAN responded: "We are not the healer. God is the healer. Never a sickness God cannot heal. Never a disease God cannot cure." But it added: "We don't ask people to stop taking medication. Doctors treat - God heals." Ms Stevenson warned: "Often faith groups and churches spring up and nobody really knows they are there or what they are doing." "There needs to be investment in taking some action at national and local levels to address this issue." She added that AHPN wanted to see faith groups and churches "having the same responsibility in terms of safeguarding and respecting individuals as any other organisation would be expected to have". But AHPN warned that criminal sanctions would not be an appropriate solution and would risk "pushing the problem underground". "We call for local authorities to work with faith groups and ensure these negative messages are not put out." The Department of Communities and Local Government refused to respond to these comments. But the Department of Health said faith organisations "can make a positive contribution to raising awareness of HIV" by "highlighting the benefits of testing and effective antiretroviral treatment". http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-19656649 Front page Pls! |
davies123: You are not being reasonable! Is Terry not a human being?Shame on u for documentin his errors all d way from 2oo2 if yours where documented would it look any better?Being a professional footballer or talented doesn't mean u r no more human or above making mistakes,he still has blood flowing thru his veins like u and I and his accomplishments in chelsea and England far outweighs this ruubish u r saying about him! You're one those ignorant Nigerians out there. Do you know what Africans or black players go through in the hands of the UK media any time they get into trouble? I bet you don't. Their life history and criminal past is often the title of every publications. Terry is no different. Remember when Ashley Cole allegedly cheated on Cheryl, well, he has not got away with that yet. He's still being called a cheat. Ferdinand up till today is still being called a drug cheat. Thierry Henry was labelled in the UK media for handling a ball which later resulted in a goal. No one calls this buffoon a cheat this day. If someone is a criminal, don't cover it because of sentiment. UK is one of the most racist country on earth. There racism is institutionalized and they are very subtle about it. They don't go about saying it, but they reveal themselves when you work for them either as a footballer or any other profession. What do you know? |
I prefer the worship session. The tithe and offering session is the time when men flex their muscles, and the poor are left out of the blessings. The Sermon session is designed for Pastors to show us their new found grammar and egoistical hedonism. So, I will praise and worship God all my life. Apparently, when I last check, God honours Praise and Worship than all the routine rituals now done in Churches. |
Like the saying goes " a trial will surely convince you". Seriously, I am an epitome of God's faithfulness, blessings and mercy. Works like magic every time, just that magicians fake what they do. God is real. I worship God because He has proven Himself to be God. My worship to God is undiluted. When I met Jesus, he showed me God, and I've never looked back. 18 out of 20 God would answer my request, but my dumb a.s.s would still want to complain to the 2 HE hasn't yet done. I guess I'm a spoilt child of God. I speak to HIM like HE's physically infront of me. God loves me unconditionally. HE loves you too same way. My secret: I never appear before HIM acting holy or clean. I ask for HIS mercy everytime, and see my short-comings as the trials of my faith and the challenges I must go through. I have a besetting sin, it used to draw me back every time, but now that I know better, I don't allow those sins to deprive me of my blessings. God will address that area when the time comes. Hallelujah to Jesus! |
Remmyode: I thought you said John Terry is a muderer, I was patiently waiting to read in your post which member of your family he killed and he got away with.what a stupid statement. So typical of gullible Nigerians like you, must you always involve God in every statement you make? Soon now Jesus will start telling his father about someone like you who calls God's name in vain. Be constructive. Those are the facts about Terry. You can't hide criminal history in the UK. UK is not Nigeria you know! |
shadrach77: That is why England will always under-perform at international level. A wise country would have made the effort to defend one her best players. I support his decision. The guy felt hard done by as he felt he was been unduly victimized by the same organisation which is supposed to protect him. I don't think he is racist. We all say things we don't mean in the heat of the moment. Terry, i wish you best of luck in your careerYou guys are just outsiders really. JT is one of the most obnoxious, egoistic mutherfcuuker out there. He's a Mafia and has a family full of criminals. JT has always gone away with murder. He has never been convicted of any charges brought against him due to his high profile status as England skipper. Yes, he's got over 10 charges of criminal damages!. The FA has had enough and couldn't defend him any more. They actually did him a favour by allowing his racist slur to go to court. FA knew he was going to get acquitted, which he did. The only problem is, the association of equal opportunity for minorities stick to their gut and wouldn't allow the FA a breathing space. The association demanded a fair hearing citing the Suarez-Evra case. There was actually enough evidence to convict Terry. It wouldn't take rocket science to know what Terry was saying to Anton Ferdinand. Every TV station in the country agreed that Terry racially abused Anton, except ofcourse, the bias Judge. In November 2006, JT racially abused Ledley King, but later apologised and was fined 10,000 pounds by the FA. JT crimes were known to the media but told to always shield the then England captain. His mum is a thief, caught stealing 800 pounds worth of clothes from Marks & Spenser. You want to know more about this guy? Well, here are more.. * Immediately after hearing the news of the September 11 attack, JT was at the airport where he met some Americans visiting England. He then started saying profanity and abusing words to these tourists about the attack. * January 2002,JT was charged of assault and affray, ofcourse, he was found not guilty.Though he was banned for playing for England during the hearings. *Again in January 2002, this guy deliberately used the Disabled parking lot for his Bentley. Fined 60 pounds and warned for his behaviour... *2009, JT took bribe from under cover reporter. Even with evidence, JT was sided by his manager and the FA. *In 2009 again, JT was reported to have had extramarital affair with Vanessa Perroncel, Wayne Bridge's ex. The High court imposed a super-injunction preventing all media to publish JT length of flings with that lady. So you have it! They've had enough of covering his a.s.s. |
pro01: Let's pray he finds another job soonest, and it better be a better job than the one he just lost. . .otherwise billionaire Taiwo Afolabi would increase his unofficial 'Father Christmas' role in Omotola's life, to put it nicely. I wouldn't want that mega-rich bas.tar.d near my wife under any circumstances whatsoever. His money game is recession-proof, and he always makes offers women can't refuse, irrespective of their marital status. The correct phrase would have been "Hope he gets another job soonest". What's with Nigeria and prayer? You pray(ask) for everything even when God has already provided for it. So you saying we should start praying he gets another job so he can start giving to the garri guys abi? Anyways, hope he gets a job soonest ![]() |
crackhouse: Pls don't tell me the school he attended. Just go straight and tell me his goddam age.And you think they'll tell you his age that easy? It's part of the Nigerian way of life. No one reveals their true age anymore. You never know, he might need to lower his age oneday for visa purposes, so why risk it now! Nigerian journalists are illiterates and lack the confidence to be one. Everyone is always quick to label Jonathan and his administration, but couldn't just be honest with themselves. Always begin a celebrity story with their names first, then their real age e.g ...Mike Ezuruonye, 33, is a Nollywood actor. What the fcuuk is wrong with Nigerians and age? I believe deception is in their DNA. Generally speaking, Nigerians are genetically predispose to being dishonest, hence, the Nigeria of today! |
Is it just me, Genevieve is ugly! Ok, she's alright by Nigeria standard. Some 9ja dudes even see her as pretty! Sentiment apart, don't care if she originate from your village, hype is damn too much. Same goes to Omotola, she's kinda got alright face, but body damn too out of shape. Nigerian babes need to work out! And what's with the camera? I guess the photographer used a Nokia 33 to make them look even more uglier than they were. |
klax: @ Paris 10. Quote "I believe the Ndi-Igbos are more transparent than the likes of the Yorubas or Hausas. However, the cynicism, hypocrisy and the dirty politics being played by other tribes would be against any Igbo man becoming the next President of Nigeria".You are a mallamu for not stating the obvious. You can not debate Igbos without debating their other rivals. We are looking at Ndi-Igbo best chance of becoming the next President, why wouldn't their major opponents be mentioned? This is politics baby, for a successful bid for any presidential candidate, its opponents must be destroyed or brought to grass by the use of derogatory adverts, eloquent but intimidating remarks, and digging of previous criminal history. So, let us mention the Yorubas and the Hausas. Let us mention their deeds and what they've done to Nigeria as a whole. It is time for a change, and change is coming to Nigeria. |
tunnytox: Dude make your point without referring to other tribes, this is how it starts when other tribes now reacts you'll be playing victim. He was only making a point. Making a point without referencing doesn't sound convincing, does it? He was right when he said that about Tinubu. I believe the Ndi-Igbos are more transparent than the likes of the Yorubas or Hausas. However, the cynicism, hypocrisy and the dirty politics being played by other tribes would be against any Igbo man becoming the next President of Nigeria. |
-ok, i hear you. |
Its not your everyday tonic, and you wouldn't wished you come across this dirty Ghanaian "doctor" whose clinic was well established and registered. Naive and ignorant pregnant women would flock the supposedly abortion clinic for a quick termination, and the quack but arrogant doctor would take advantage of their naivety by first getting intimate with them and then using unsterilised medical instruments to perform the manual but disgusting illegal operation. The "doctor" had countless of unprotected intimacy with his patients before the operations. He managed to do this by convincing his patients that doing it would pave the way for a painless operation. Most of his patients were either married women or young ladies who would do anything just to get rid of the unwanted pregnancy. However, most of the intimacies were consented to as the doctor managed to persuade the patients to either say yes or no to his proposals. The doctor was later arrested as an undercover camera man went into action to expose him. The doctor had no medical certificate nor was he licensed to carry out such huge operation. There are many clinics in Ghana which needs to be monitored as rumours of such preposterous and sickening behaviour from other clinics is coming to light. http://www.worldstaruncut.com/uncut/50625 |
juman: The film was an insult to the muslim. It's condemned.Everyone already agrees that it was an insult, but be civilize and offer constructive criticism to your fellow jihadists brothers who kills at the slightest provocation. The producer was not responsible for the death of Mohammed, why making it seem he killed your prophet? Just short of words to the cannibals we call neighbours! |
I know this question is just like those asked of Jesus by the Pharisees. I know your heart and intention. You're one of those Islamic dude who read the bible and quote it out of context. As long as you can tell and differentiate between Mohammed and Prophet Musa, then there shouldn't be any problem for you to differentiate between Jesus and John the baptist. Hypocrite! |
Hundreds of brainwashed Muslims will start defending this heinous and devilish act on this forum now. There's nothing moral about killing of people for religious sake. Ok, accepted, the Movie shouldn't have been made in the first place, but why not criticize or even ask for apology from the producer? Or don't we still have virgins in the world anymore that you so crave for that 70 virgins which your Allah promised you? Religion is a cankerworm, not worth it. It makes you blind and deprive you of that true love that bond us together as people. It is a better to be an atheist than join a religion where killing is justified. American embassy in Yemen is currently on attack. There's something missing and wrong with this sect. Can't Islam sort thing out by way of dialogue rather than violence? |
Lady Winona: It really doesn't matter how it happens. Surprisingly, it is the married ones that are more affected and most of the single males that come to the clinic are gays. Occasionally, u'll see a few that got it via blood transfusion and needle pricks like this 14 year old boy who contracted it while disposing the needles used by his father who is a local patent medicine dealer. A couple presented some months back, and the woman who was HIV -ve at the time married the man despite knowing that he was HIV +ve, she's also positive now with 2 kids. Lots of stories, lots of people, all with one problem... I guess, I must confess that after working with them and seeing how optimistic and happy they are, having accepted their situation and yet finding it in them to move on and live their lives right, I've learnt to take every problem that comes my way with the same grace and attitude. I really do pray that the cure comes out in our life time, but until then, be HAPPYHello doctor, whilst I appreciate your contributions to this post, I also offer my support to the @poster. I'd however love to draw everyone attention to this fact but very controversial theory. I am not a conspiracy theorist but would certainly be labelled one at the end of this post. Most deadly diseases are created with the view to making profits on it cure (antidote). Now to the facts, the United states medical research institute and the Federal government science programmes are institutes created for experimentation with the view to achieving clear goals- getting rid of third world nations; using them as experiments and in-turn making profits from the monsters created. HIV already has a cure. HIV wasn't first cited in Africa but in the US. It was experimented on a volunteering individual who later flew to Africa to infect people with it. This individual flew back to the US and had his HIV cured by the antidote produced within the institute. You want proof, my next post! Other killer diseases were also transported to Africa, and now our govts are using billions of dollars to buy the cure from those that invented them in the first place. This is called marketing-strategy. We've been for far too long defrauded and believed to have this disease that is "incurable". This is the new world order. Powers that controls the world. Powers that want to get rid of the "undesirables", we the Africans from the face of the earth. But for this to be accomplished, they have to sacrifice their own. HIV antidote would be on the market in the next few years, and then a new deadly disease would be invented. Now to the "we have to pray" thing, don't even bother. It either God cures you or you wait until the cure comes to the shelve. And to the fraudsters who thinks we're all gullible Nigerians, we know them by names. Ayefele is still cripple! |
preshuzpearl: I didn't know what section to put this in, but i thought that since it relates to lifestyle and sociality, it would fit in here.Seriously, its kinda odd not only for you but for your gender in general to eat out alone in a restaurant. Not concluding that you are selfish or stingy, but you got it written all over you. In-as-much as it isn't a taboo for a lady to eat alone in a restaurant, it nevertheless portray such individual as an opportunist(seeking attention of guys and looking for free foods), a lazy woman who couldn't cook and a selfish person who would rather dodge her friends to eat alone. However, you alone know your reasons! There's an adage that says eating with friends or family is better. Anyway, enjoy your life my sister |
masterpiecer: Is London now in the US?I guess it meant Air Nigeria couldn't depart USA to London to pick up Mr Agwu due to it closure |
[quote author=masterpiecer]Am i d only one confused here? When was london relocated to the US?[/b] [/quote |
@poster, seriously, she only wants to be a friend and nothing more. It is high time Nigerian guys started having ladies as mere friends and not just some 4k buddy. She sees you as a respectable gentleman and decided to take her chance. You might just be God sent. Do good to them that are without or not well known to you. You can even have her like a sister. You're a big guy, you should know when a lady is trying to play you. |
No doubt we have African finest in this country. Beautiful ladies flocks our institutions, roads and Churches (well, we do have some in Mosques as well), don't want anyone to label me. However, there's a trend that tends to short-circuit this beauty and which need to be addressed. Take a look at the beautiful Ngozi's, Tayo's, the Lara's, Tonto's, Franca's and all the Nigerian actresses. Now take deep look at your sister and mum sitting next to you. What do these people have in common? Their tummy ofcourse! Having a bigger tummy and not giving a monkey about it is now the official motto of Nigerian women. Tummy tuck-in is not healthy and has killed prominent Nigerians who think they can buy their way to fitness without hardwork in the gym. What are you saying @paris? The beauty of a woman lies in the whole package and not just facial beauty alone. Having a bigger tummy is disgusting, unhygienic and not cool. I am therefore petitioning all our beautiful Nigerian ladies and mamas to hit the gym or atleast exercise at home and reduce those fats. Been around the world and seen things. Nigerian ladies are easily identified by their protruding tummy. Our actresses are no better. Thought they should be role model, but no, they aren't. Ofcourse with the exception of beautiful Mercy Johnson who despite being a "big girl" still maintain a healthy flat tummy. Nigerians ladies worldwide, this is a call to duty! A duty to live healthy and exercise regularly in order to be in shape. I love you all my Nigerian girls!!! |
