Gullible Nigerians at it again!  No Pastor regardless of how powerful and anointed should ever run a democratic state. Bakare is short sighted and should first consider resigning his post as a 'man of God' before contesting. For no one can run a nation like Nigeria and not get driven into a state of unknown. You think he's a good man now abi, wait until his policies and strategies starts causing riot here and there. Can a Xtian President contend with the issue of homosexuality? What would be his take on the 21st century moral and social issues confronting the young generations?. Would he press for a Xtian state or use the 'God say' rhetoric to cause havoc?

Even the eloquent Oyakhilome would think twice before embarking on such degrading task. What does someone like Bakare have in stock for ordinary Nigerians like you, and  when tithes and offering ain't enough why wouldn't he want 2 be president of the most populous nation in Africa! Are we still blind to want to allow religion to come into politics? Do we want the president to declare state of emergency by praying and fasting? As long as a Pastor continue to preach tithe and seed, tithe and seed (bribery) will  remain if they become a president. Jesus's saving of the world was not true politics (he declined the kingship offered to him by the people), but true the moving of the holy spirit. Being a President does not and will not exclude you from corruption. A President only preside but does not make laws. There are powerful people that control the politics of Nigeria aside from the president. I am a Xtian, but does not and will not support a Pastor to be the President of Nigeria.

Obama was a shining light, a presumed hope of his people, an anticipated messiah who was seen by many to bring fairness and end suffering. With much pressure, he's crumbling and losing grounds. Once a good Xtian, but now what? He is for gay right (contrary to the Bible) and even not popular any more. Bakare should not use the name of the Lord in vain. ' God say this', 'God say that' would be the order of the day if he becomes President.

Don't vote for him and any other attention seeking, Bible quoting, Tithe taking, jet riding and hair perming pastors that would cause more poverty to the ordinary citizen.
