The issue of tithing is a controversy that has been debated for decades by both the intellectuals and the gullibles. But thank God that at last, we now have a solution. I thought it was just me that have doubted the authenticity and preaching of the so-called prosperity preachers (pentecostal), but no, people are waking up to the truth. Pls and pls carefully listen to these videos and do some personal BIBLE research and come to a conclusion if tithing is scriptural or not. Copy the link and watch the videos and the rest of the Parts. i don't know how to insert the videos here. Pls note: Erase whatsoever your Pastor has told you about tithe. God bless, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZiRulfW2Bs&feature=related |
Hope they last sha, age will tell. |
wetu:I can vividly see how ignorant and overly religious you've become. You are not just a bad adviser, you're the worst adviser ever!. You guys would come up with your Pastors suggestions and back it up with out of context scriptural verses. When did giving your life to Christ becomes giving your love away? Christ is love, and your boyfriend should also be part of the love. If he loves you, he will love Jesus. We are in a world of civilization where people can pro-actively use initiative and common sense to decide their future by being reasonable and following their God given conscience to love God and be in love too. So because I'm born again I should leave the person I love behind abi? Brother Paul was saying what you've written above to some particular set of people because those people weren't that educated about the things of God. Now we know God. We know God loves us. HE loves us unconditionally, not because we're holly or righteous (our righteousness is like a filthy rag before HIM), but because HE has pre-destined to love us regardless of our sin. @poster, if you still want your man, talk to him about your new found love and let both of you be committed to God and to yourselves. Regarding the fear of sleeping with him, as you both grow in the Lord, the thought of that will slowly and gradually disappear from your thought. But mind you, being born again does not automatically stops you from fallen into temptation, it increases the chances. But the Bible says " There is no temptation taken you, but such as is common to men, but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above that you are able to bear, but will surely provide a way of escape, " (1 Corinth 10:13) Enjoy Christ and God will bless your relationship with your boyfriend. |
Darren Brown was careful in his documentary which I totally agree with. Die-hard supporters of these so-called miracle healing Pastors will still ignorantly go ahead and criticize him. unfortunately for these people, Darren backed it up with more than one evidence. I've always been sceptical about pentecostal Pastors when it comes to the issue of healing, why, because it goes hand in hand with you parting away with your money. You see how rich K. Copeland is, and how protective of his wealth he's become. Same goes to Oyak, Adeboye, Ashi, Oyedepo and many more who uses God's name to defraud the seemingly gullible Nigerians. The source of wealth is an impenetrable entity demarcated by the strongest shadow of what we now call secret. It is however unfortunate that secret can be hidden for a long time, then, Gbaaam!. 'There are $3 trillion distributed across the world everyday, and you're broke'?, K. Copeland. You see, these Pastors are well informed. They do their research before going out to defraud you. Stop looking for miracle, you are miracle yourself. |
Joagbaje:@Joagbaje or whatever you call yourself, listen to me before you go out there and start vomiting this piece of poo you call explanation. It is ok to criticize, test every spirit and disagree with suggestions made by others and still remain God's beloved. If Jesus were on earth today, we don't have to necessarily agree with everything he said, but we could still go to heaven because we're God's children. Pls and pls stop confusing people with 'praying in Jesus name' and ' praying through Jesus'. Are you guys so dump? Don't you know that whenever you mention Jesus's name in prayers, God immediately relate to that? As long as you call Jesus, you're directly or indirectly telling God that your prayers should be considered by the mentioning of that name. Pastor Chris should stop calling Jesus whenever he perform 'miracle'. Calling the name of Jesus is not the same thing as standing in Jesus's stead, is it. With this new heresy, I forbid every CE member to call the name of Jesus (call yourself, you're now in Christ stead, abi). Chris should call himself and cast out the devil. He should call God directly and heal the sick. If I asked what part of Nigeria you're from, You'd tell me 'Zion', abi? Faith does not deny fact. Its good to have faith, its another thing to be entirely silly and religious. |
toyemz:At least someone have got sense here! @toyemz, I like your critical thinking |
@poster, you're just being naive and your reaction to the news is totally preposterous and unacceptable. The allege stalker wasn't even known by the media as being Nigerian but a woman who once lived in Peckham and now reside in Newcastle. You relate to her because of the name. As per the stalking, Rio Ferdinand didn't handle the matter well at all. He was silly, childish, and has skeleton in his cupboard. Ms Ibru wouldn't just turned up at his resident without a cogent and concrete excuse for doing so. Mind you, she'd visited that same building almost four times. You know what I think, I believe Rio was Zap.i.n.g that lady. He stopped calling her and started avoiding her calls, hence, her going to his house!. There are hundreds of pro footballers out there she should have gone to, but no, she chose Rio, why? Rio knows why! Did you know that Rio grew up in the same neighborhood as Ms Ibru? I just think Rio was in denial and have acted like a b.a.s.t.a.r.d. |
@Poster, You're married with one kid and you're already in love with another lady, abi? Listen to me you little brat, You're in LUST and not in love, ok. Can you for once be a man and take care of your family. If that lil thing between your legs is causing you problem, you better run a Catholic Church and become a FATHER (afterall you claim to be a Xtian) .Beautiful girls are temptation to married men. They have destroyed many sweet homes. Stop seeing this girl (even if it involves you not going to that Church again). After you've done this, give yourself time and the thought of her will start to vanish away from your already corrupt mind. And by the way, what has being a Xtian got do with lusting after a girl? That should be the main reason why you should in the first place never to have allowed temptation to have dominion over you! |
If your husband is a Nigerian, especially from the North or South West, then you cannot blame him! Its in the blood. Them people are very promiscuous. What am I even saying, infact, Nigerians are generally known to be unfaithful either to their wives or husbands. It is biological, genetical, hereditary, inherited and a social norm. So, what would you do about it? Ans, He needs to be rehabitated, de-demonized, spoken to by elders, issued with a warning from the court of law, and finally, give him more love than anticipated, that solves your problem sweetheart. |
Beyonce just bought her hubby a $1 Million Dollar car (not motor), even though JZ is rich himself. Mariah Carey is doing the same (Nick Canon), Paris Hilton not left out, Jennifer Lopez deeply in love, Janet Jackson (Dupri cannot get enough), Alisha Keys, and last but not the list, ME (I'm a celebrity too in my own lil corner). I didn't mention any Nigerian celebrity because they're all money mongers and base their relationship bulls**t on money. So @poster, I did not see anything you've done yet. You've not even spend up2 £1000. His house rent which was given back to you I guess was between £350-400. And the money you lent him recently to extend his visa should be around £380 (beside the lump sum of £1600 which should reflect in his account). And for the food stuff, aba, you need to feed him well well for strength. You think without those solid food he will be performing the way he's doing now? Think again! Anyway, relationship is like a trial out, you're either in or out. Never a do or die affair. Food and money cannot be the basis of a relationship but fate and destiny. |
@all, Have you guys asked yourselves why guys find it difficult to forgive their other part? I guess not! This is it. Guys always imagine someone else's d*ickk penetrating the hole he calls safe haven. In doing this, they find it irritating and somewhat disgusting to want to do that babe again. And if you are aware of any guy who tend to forgive, he's probably gaining something out of the relationship, in this case, p*ssy and money. Mind you, he stopped loving the girl since the incident happened. |
paris10:Whats the point of using someone else's old passport when you can get yours. Read the above on how to go about it. |

EzeUche:@Ezeuche, I see you're a typical traditionalist, and a tone of being a tribalist appears virtually in all your posts. I also notice that whenever someone posted something without mentioning IGBO, you immediately add the word in your next post. No one is arguing with your sentiment or passion, but trade softly. You might even end up hating other tribes without you knowing it. And as long as these people (AA) are not identifying with your sentiment, there's little you can do. Being an AA who descends from your acclaimed tribe is not a big deal, and identifying oneself with the IGBO tribe is the same thing as identifying with slavery. To burst your bubble, AA are the most crime prone people on the planet. Saying they should start retracing their root to the IGBO land and not Nigeria is actually a good thing to the rest of other tribes in Nigeria. This will mean more homicide and crime related activity in IGBO land and less worry for Nigerians. ![]() |
