Sports / Re: Nigeria Super Eagles Jerseys All Sold Out – What's Really Happening by parisbluefox: 5:19am On Jun 02, 2018
Dude there’s no much price difference in regards to the amount that’s been charged across the world. I reside in Canada, and over here it cost 110$ CAD minus tax. Plus tax it comes to a total of 124.30.

nex:
Nigeria Super Eagles 2018 FIFA World Cup jerseys sold out at the Nike Store in Ikeja City Mall, Lagos.

There’s no crowd here, they simply never really got a decent supply. This happens every time.

Nike usually sells it’s apparel most expensive in Europe, a little cheaper in the Americas, then very cheap in Asia and Africa.

Our Super Eagles Jersey is being sold in the USA and Europe for the equivalent of N31,000 ($80 to $85), but in Nigeria they’re selling the jerseys for N40,000 ($110) and yet they ensured they didn’t supply more than a few thousand units. WHY?!!

There’s definitely some fishy racket going on with The NFF regarding the matter of the Super Eagles jerseys. That’s why Adidas terminated our last deal, and Nigeria had to go begging sportswear companies round the world till Nike took pity on us.

It’s a big shame that there’s nowhere we haven’t taken corruption to. See how millions of fake jerseys have flooded the entire country and nobody is doing a thing.

Either the NFF executives are the ones running this racket, or they’re benefitting from it somehow. I will definitely petition the EFCC on this.

The biggest question we should ask ourselves is how come those who have been importing and selling millions of fake Super Eagles jerseys for months now have still not sold out.

WHAT IS REALLY HAPPENING?!

There’s nothing special about virginity. It’s a socia construct and nothing more.

quote author=predmine20 post=66808509]Who says virgins no go make heaven, that one na mumu talk.

Virginity is never overrated and can never be,all you non-virgins should come to terms with reality and stop pulling wool over your eyes.

We virgins(the holy ones) didn't force you guys to lose your virginity on the altar of pleasure so why are you guys atagonizing we virgins.

Abi e dey pain una because we no be like una.

Enough of this childish tantrums and nitwitism from you guys a.k.a second hand.

We won't tolerate and allow this nonsense talks about been a virgin na waste of time to fester any longer.

All non-virgins that are fond of insulting virgins can go to hell and burn to ashes for all we care because we can never ever condescend to your levels of living that immoral and shameless lives you are all living in the guise of been a secondary virgin

You non-virgins should deal with it.

Education / Re: 17-Year-Old Oludamilola Oluwada Accepted Into 19 Of The World’s Top Universities by parisbluefox: 10:12pm On Apr 07, 2018
Yes I’m aware there’s a general application centre that allows you apply to multiple schools and then pay one application fee for all those schools. However, there’s a limit to the number of schools you can apply to, when applying through the general application centre. Yes it’s risky to apply to just one school. But I think 20 is excessive! What happened to applying to 5 different schools?

BlackAce31:
There is a general application centre where they can apply to as many schools as they can although not all universities accept that (e.g MIT)
Moreover those top schools can be very selective so applying to just one is risky. I agree 20 is a little too much but it does increase ur chance of being admitted. Some apply to 7 top schools and still get rejected by all
Education / Re: 17-Year-Old Oludamilola Oluwada Accepted Into 19 Of The World’s Top Universities by parisbluefox: 6:57pm On Apr 07, 2018
What’s the point of applying to 19 schools? You only get to attend one at the end of the day. So why waste all that money on application fees?

Mayor78:

Well I wouldnt say anything yet on other quotes from this your builder but it is either you mistyped the cost of block levelling @ 125,000 or he may be refering to something else. How can he qoute 240k for blockwork from DPC to Lintel as at No. 7 then charge 125k for levelling as in No. 9 perhaps after the lintel except if he is talking of chaining after last blocks which usually is between 2-3 blocks after lintel depending on structural specifications. If he is talking of just block levelling, the quote didnt make sense @125k given his quote 9 of 240k from DPC to lintel which is usually between 9-12 blocks again depending on design.

Because hypothetically, assumming from DPC to lintel for your building is 10coaches, it then means that his qoute for each coach at that stage round the house is 24K per coach. If that is the case, then a 2or3 block leveling after lintel would workout at either 48 or 72k, which either way is far below the 125k he qouted.
If you happen to find any spurious quote on a qoutation, you will better be on the side of caution as other items qouted are most probably spurious too.

Again if variations are above 5-10% margin from the ordinary, accepting and qualifying the value and integrity of the quote is subjective but for me I wouldn't trust such builder and most likely not accept the quote.
I didnt comment on blockwork for foundation as at No.4 @180k because using the above calculations 4 or 5coaches from foundation would be between 96 and 120k respectively. For most bungalows 4coaches is ideal except if your site is around the Tomopolo's Niger Delta!! grin grin grin

Science/Technology / Forget Apple Vs The Fbi: Whatsapp Just Switched On Encryption For A Billion Pple by parisbluefox: 7:42am On Apr 06, 2016
Communications on WhatsApp are now fully end-to-end encrypted, the company announced today, completing an integration that has lasted for nearly a year and a half. The company began rolling out encrypting text messages in November 2014, as part of a partnership with Open Whisper Systems, but those protections now extend to voice calls, video, and multi-party chat rooms, for users on both iOS and Android.

Deploying universal encryption allows for a number of new protections. Once communications with a user are encrypted, the WhatsApp client will now notify the user and refuse to send any unencrypted messages, addressing previous concerns that the system might be vulnerable to a downgrade attack.

From now on when you and your contacts use the latest version of the app, every call you make, and every message, photo, video, file, and voice message you send, is end-to-end encrypted by default, including group chats.

The idea is simple: when you send a message, the only person who can read it is the person or group chat that you send that message to. No one can see inside that message. Not cybercriminals. Not hackers. Not oppressive regimes. Not even whatsapp employees. End-to-end encryption helps make communication via WhatsApp private – sort of like a face-to-face conversation.

We live in a world where more of our data is digitized than ever before. Every day we see stories about sensitive records being improperly accessed or stolen. And if nothing is done, more of people's digital information and communication will be vulnerable to attack in the years to come. Fortunately, end-to-end encryption protects us from these vulnerabilities.

Today more than a billion people are using WhatsApp to stay in touch with their friends and family all over the world. And now, every single one of those people can talk freely and securely on WhatsApp.
