*Women are fit to be leaders, cause Solomon's wife who's not a muslim is the queen.
*Women are not fit to be leaders cause men would be jealous and rebel against her. Giving allah no other choice than to give in to their misogynist nature
*Scholars themselves are confused on the matter. A quick look at saudi will tell where they stand. Women are not even allowed to vote let alone contest for position of authority.

Women are weaker creation of Allah. whether we take it or leave it, women are not as strong as men. And in the islamic era, there used to be several wars, battles and all that. The leader will lead battles, build fortresses and so many other tedious works a woman cant handle.

Says who? During that era pagan women were leaders in various fields. Salma a former maid of Aisha lead her tribe in battle to fight against muslims aggression. There are many stories of women leading in wars during that time and they were successful as well.

see a more practical example. in a classroom in school where a lady leads a guy, the guy will be furious and be like: a woman! a woman just beat me Hands down?...and he'll wnna buckle up subsequently.

A better practical example would be Khadijah the first wife of Muhammad. This woman was a widow; she was wealthy and ran her own successful mercantile business. She employed men to work for her. Muhammad started as her employee. This shows that women, prior to Islam, could own and manage businesses. The men of the Quraish did not think it is degrading to have a woman as boss. So its really disappointing that allah would give in to misogynist natures of few men and declare that women are not fit to be leaders. Is he a misogynist god?

lastly, a rule is a rule and the law giver knows best. If Allah has said ladies shouldnt rule den its for the best

tells a history. A woman ;Queen ruled Sheba. And GOD spoke well of her even though she initially was a pagan. GOD described her as a brillant,moral,democratic and humble ruler. Infact you should get a translated Qur'an to get the gist yourself. She embraced Islam at last, but continued to rule. No where did GOD state that women cannot rule, infact by giving us the story of this great muslim queen and not prohibiting women from leading in any verse on his Scripture, GOD is in essence telling us to women have just equal right to lead as men.

And for your own good,be careful with hadiths, not all of them are authentic.

I see babylolraroy has answered you (she's a muslim) besides the story from the verse is from pre islamic era and like dr Arewa pointed out, the jews had a lot of women leaders or rulers.

Another unfortunate reason could be fear of being attacked or sexually harassed by fellow muslims or those that belong in another sect.

Why will Allah give women many husbands in the first place? Men don't like the idea of their wives sleeping with any other man on earth then is it in heaven they will automatically become indifferent to the idea of other dudes ploughing their wives?

I actually asked a Muslim cleric about this issue and he told me that women don't get any other man in paradise except their earthly husband. He told me the reason for this is not because Allah wants to be unjust to women but because the men carried out more good deeds on earth than women. They fasted more and prayed more since there was no menstruation to reduce their fasts and prayers, so as a result of the extra good deeds men did they will have an edge over women in paradise and that edge is the houris

You're getting it all mixed up.
1) I didn't say men will get 72 virgins. A Saudi Arabian cleric did. Surely you're not more Muslim or knowledgeable than a SAUDI ARABIAN CLERIC. Besides Quran did say men will get virgins but didn't say how many.

2) When you say women will get their own rewards try and be specific. We all know men are getting virgins and pearl looking male servants but women get none of that except their old husbands and I don't think that's a reward.

Females have no rewards whatsoever in paradise. They only get their old husbands and watch him enjoy his own virgins. That's for married women, as for single ones, Quran didn't say. My guess is they'll be among the 72 rewards for men.

BTW, did cleric give exact number? I'm just assuming it's 72, it could be more than that.
