Society calls him the head, i call him my partner,my best friend, my lover.......we take decisions jointly, we both contibute jointly to the financial upkeep of the house, he respects me and i respect him. When my brother's wife gave birth, i asked my mum which name she would give her grandson, she bluntly told me that the child isn't hers so she has no business naming him. @ Post, both parents can name the child, my hubby comes up with the english names and i come up with the native name. My experience- Labour pain is simply out of this world, it amazes me when people say that once your baby pops out, u will forget the pains, its 1 year plus and i still remember, i dread going through it again. I hail women that have many kids, they are indeed daughters of Zion. 10 Likes |

Great post Greatgod, most people don't realize the powerful implications of the marital vow, its a promise made to God and man and its breach has its attendant consequences. May God help us to remain faithful to our marital vows and not go looking for the 20% outside when the person with 80% is right there with us. Nothing can ever justify cheating, you swore to be faithful for better for worse, make your partner better,marriage is an enjoyable union. God bless our homes. 1 Like |

Op, advice her to convince her hubby to go the hospital,he might just be the one with the problem. The fact she had an abortion does not mean she cannot conceive again, esp if there were no complications. I have a colleague who had a similar issue, i adviced him to tell his wife to start taking folic acid, he later met me and told me that they went to the hospital together and it was discovered that he was the one with the medical problem. If only men would realise that most of the time, the problem is from them,a lot of this issues would be avoided since the two parties would come together and find a solution. I don't have preference for any over the other,as far as you are good, I'm cool with it. During labour with my second baby,a female nurse examined me first and she was good and professional,she told me me I've already dilated 4 centimeters,then came the young male doctor on call, the way he examined me was so ...... Don't even know how to describe it, i was like what the hell is this? He now went further to say that there is no evidence of rupture when I've already seen my show. I just eyed him and kept quiet. anyway, as I said earlier, I don't really care, just know what you are doing, do what's best for my baby and I and I've got no issues. |
