Atiku Abubakar, PDP candidate is even worse. In fact according to his firmer boss, Olusegun Obasanjo, What Atiku has stolen is enough to feed the country for 300 years. Sane minds will demand for a refund of those funds. But rather they sing and dance around him

Also Tinubu is currently sick. He is ever sicker than Nigeria with all our numerous problems. His fingers shake uncontrollably. He has inability to control his urine. Also, his speech is grossly incoherent, reason his handlers are shading him from the media.
These are evidences of old age. Something every living human cherishes. But a sick country needs a healthy person to help fix it.
We don't need another Buhari who spends six months abroad, three months in Daura as president.

That Tinubu brought this upon us is not enough, he currently believes that with the money he has craftily looted over the years, he can buy anything, including your votes. This is the same person that people who claim to be sane are clamouring for.

Politics › Re: Photos And Evidences Which Proof That Insanity Is In All Of Us by Passionnn(op): 2:47pm On Aug 07, 2022
This may be political. How on earth will a people currently groaning under high level economics hardship support the same person who brought the hardship upon them?
Tinubu has said severally that he was instrumental to the enthronement of our current demon, Buhari as head of state. Is it not instructive enough that Tinubu, if he has any idea in his skull would help Buhari his boy, to succeed?
Look at our current predicament.b

A major feature in our rural and urban areas is the imagery of mentally unstable individuals either lying down or walking aimlessly scavenging waste dumps for food.
They are always oblivious to the harsh reality we live in. The only reason why we can't classify them as beasts is because they look exactly like us and we're once virile and possibly productive part of the society until they lose their heads.
On the other side of the divide are the so called sane ones. We look down at the so called destitutes with scorn and take the slightest opportunity to chase them away whenever they come around them. What they forget is that it could happen to anyone. Considering the behavioural pattern and the inability to reason constructively among many of the so called sane ones, it is safe to agree with the saying that many are mad. Only few are roving.
I shall post photos which give credence to this saying.

My dear, politics is interest. Whichever church that is currently endorsing Peter Obi is doing so because they felt Obi would protect their interests just as Tinubu feels only a Muslim/Muslim ticket will get him what he wanted.

Ment. All the big churches are in Lagos. Have they been islamised yet? Na ment? A good brain would know that since Tinubu didn't islamise his wife and Lagos, he won't islamise anyone. Stop limiting politics and competency to religion.

Like, you could see the high strides which Tinubu achieved in Lagos such as his legacies which include Lekki seaport, lekki trade zone, BRT, Eko Atlantic, BRT terminal, high increase in Lagos revenue even at the time Obasanjo withheld Lagos allocation for several years yet Tinubu made Lagos' thrived regardless. But rather than look at these, you're limiting Tinubu to his religion. How is Peter Obi who's got no achievement whatsoever better than Tinubu's enormous legacies in Lagos? Na ment? Tinubu is a first class graduate of accounting whereas Peter Obi is only a D pass graduate of philosophy.

Also, Tinubu is the most liberal leader who always ensure he brings in intelligent talents to nurture and work with him, irrespective of their religion or Tribes. People such as Fashola, Sanwo Olu, Osinbajo, Igbokwe etc..

Point is most Yoruba Muslims are different from the Northern Muslims. They don't allow religion to cage them. Personally, I hope for when religion would only be limited to home and religious houses because that's where it belongs. By limiting religion to only homes and religious houses, this would create more secular carefree avenue for people to use their brain to think outside of the box and improve their environment. Religion or non religion shouldn't be a determinant in any of our settings. Competence should always be championed and should be the main determinant.

Now on the question why Tinubu chose a Northern Muslim despite being a Muslim. It's a political strategic move. He chose a Northern leader from the core North which happens to be a Muslim since almost all the Northern leaders are Muslims anyway.

You all know that most of the leaders in the South are Christians while Muslims are the majorities in the North. Let imagine for example that a Northern Christian happened to get the presidential ticket of a huge platform, who do you think he would choose as his deputy in the South? Of course a popular Southern who may eventually end up being a Christian. Why? Because majority of the leaders in the South are Christian hence choosing one of the popular Southern leaders could end up being a Christian. That was exactly what Tinubu did. It's a political strategic move.

That's why religion shouldn't be a determinant in any settings because it's only a personal thing. Imagine if Shettima was only seen as a Northern Nigerian while Tinubu was seen as a Southern Nigerian. That already balanced the equation and criteria needed instead of bringing in religion into the prism. Point is when you look at Europe, American and Canada, they don't care about your religion whether you're Christian, Muslim or Atheist. What they care about is your competence irrespective of your religion. You wouldn't care about the religion of a doctor who's to operate on you but his competence. Religion shouldn't be a ticket for you to get your way out of your incompetence and I'm talking about Peter Obi who achieved absolute nothing in his Anambra state.

Meanwhile, I believe Tinubu chose Shettima as his deputy because Zulum was Shettima's protégé. Zulum would have been the perfect fit but he wanted a second term as a governor hence Shettima. This isn't about religion.
In all his life as a liberal Muslim, he or his wife the Pastor do not have real bishop friends he could invite for his Muslim VP unveiling were roadside mechanics, plumbers vulcanisers, etc.

Chris2863:
sorry to say but you are not making sense to me
Maybe I didn't state it clearly. There were times in the past when some political parties took INEC to the court for excluding their candidates from the ballots because they were disqualified by INEC. The judge declared in that judgement that INEC has no power to disqualify any candidate and ordered INEC to print new ballot with the names and party of the candidate included. Meanwhile, elections were close. So INEC hurriedly printed ballots using all the names and logos of the registered party only as including the photos of candidates will make the ballot look too bulky. Since then, INEC has been using this sort of ballot paper.
Politics › Re: Zambia Ballot Paper Vs Nigeria Ballot Paper (Pictures) by Passionnn: 7:54am On Jul 29, 2022
Our ballot papers used to be like that of the Zambian.
What INEC is doing is to be on the safe side. So it includes the names of all the registered political parties on the ballot so that no one will sue it later of not being included.

Education › Conduct Of The NECO Exam in Delta State marred by shoddy logistics by Passionnn(op):
I don't know about your area. But the conduct of the NECO examination in my area is quite distasteful.
First is the low turn out for registration. Many of the centres have very few candidates, ranging from 5 to 30.
Despite the few numbers of candidates, it is clear that the examination body has done very little in terms of logistics. The timetable itself is not properly organised. Apart from that, there are cases of last minute alterations to the timetable. English language papers earlier scheduled for Wednesday 10 am, was suddenly shifted to 2pm. But reports showed some centres didn't receive the questions till 6pm. Imagine writing a core subject like English language in the night! Many centres had to hurriedly make provision for light. It was nothing like a certificate examination.
Thursday's physics/Commerce wasn't different. The questions arrived by 6pm. The candidates left around 9pm. Some centres which couldn't wait could not even take the exam.
At a time when NECO has become an unpopular choice among candidates, now these. I wonder if they will get candidates next year.

Good day, my fellow Nigerians

Today is 28/07/22
In this ongoing Neck examination, Physics, Commerce and CR's was schedule on the time table months before now. We woke up this morning, students have arrived school, then by 8 or there about, principal said he got information that next has shifted the physics and commerce exams to 2pm while CR's to tomorrow. This is 4:21pm we have not seen any invigilator the Physics and commerce exams. We had doubt maybe its our centre, but other schools corroborated same. Student who came to write exams are hungry because they came since morning. Worse still we don't know if the exam will hold or not. Everything organized and handle by Nigerians is just spinning from top to bottom. Does this ppl have standard. First, they disorganized the minds of the student with an impromptu shifting of the time, secondly, the said shifted time no invigilator has come, and students are hungry. I think if NECO are not prepared they should scrapped the exam. It is not by force to measure up with WAEC. if it didn't dey to measure up, it didn't dey, simple
They eventually brought the questions to my centre around 6pm.
Na candle we bought for the candidates. We left the centre around 10pm.
On Wednesday, English language papers came around 5pm. We left the centre by 8pm. We are calling this NECO candle light exam.
Politics › Re: BBC, Daily Trust Will Face Sanctions For Glorifying Terrorists - Lai Mohammed by Passionnn: 6:34am On Jul 29, 2022
mach7:
Inasmuch as I am dismayed with this government, this is a right step.

The very thing terrorists need is publicity. The more our media houses keep glorifying terrorists or giving them unnecessary media attention, the more their objective is being achieved.

What the BBC does in Nigeria, I bet they will never allow a Nigerian station to do same in the UK.
Have you watched the said BBC documentary? I doubt it . There was nothing in it which glorifies any terrorist. The government is just paranoid because the documentary exposes their failure as a government to protect lives and properties of their citizens. What these journalists did should be commendable, because it's quite a risky undertaking.
A sensible government will go through the story and use elements from it to see how it can tackle the terrorists. But they'd rather ask for their heads. A very stupid move.
