Hebrews 11:1, 6 (KJV) "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.....6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

3. Under the ministry of Jesus no one was healed or blessed because of his observance or obedience to the law. All were healed by faith only and were blessed by faith only. Jesus never found any of anyone guilty of the law even lepers and the adulteress, but He constantly found people guilty of the lack of faith. Only those who oppossed Him in the name of the law He found guilty of the law. Salvation and all the promises and blessings of God in the new testament are only available to us by the gift of the faith of Jesus which we receive freely when we hear and believe the word of God who is Jesus. Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

Faith comes only by hearing and hearing the word of God who is Christ. When we hear Him and believe Him we receive the gift of His faith as if all that Jesus did by faith we did it together with Him and in Him. Since we did everything He did with Him and in Him, we are also entitled by right to receive and enjoy all that the Father blessed Him for what He did in obedience to the will of the Father. The faith of Christ is a free gift we receive when we hear the word and believe it. Faith therefore is an inheritance we receive by promise as children of Abraham. Every believer is given a measure of the faith of God as part of our inheritance in Christ. It is not of works because it is an inheritance not a reward or wages. Children don't receive wages from their father but inheritance. Having received the gift of the faith of Christ we become sons of God and heirs of God, joint heirs with Christ and heir of all things owned by God the Father. Hence all things are yours.

After God's promise of faith to Abraham the law was added until the coming of the promise. The law only paused the promise till the coming of the promised seed. When Jesus the promised seed came He fulfilled the law and unveiled the promise to all mankind that through Abraham by faith all the families of the earth will be blessed. Now by faith all men have access to the promises and blessings of God. While the law was only for the natural seed of Abraham but faith is for all men and all the families of the earth. Through the law it was impossible for God to fulfill His promises to Abraham that Genesis 12:2-3 (KJV) "And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Genesis 15:5 (KJV) "And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be." Genesis 15:14 (KJV) "And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance." Genesis 17:2 (KJV) "And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly." Genesis 17:6-7 (KJV) "And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. 7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee." Genesis 22:17-18 (KJV) "That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice." Matthew 6:30; 8:26; 13:58; 14:31; 17:20; Mark 2:5; 5:34; 6:1-6; 10:52; Romans 6:2-6; 8:17; 10:4,17; 12:3; John 1:1-2,14; 1Corinthians 3:21;

There was no way Isaac the natural seed or Israel would have been able to fulfill all these promises and blessings. It is only in Christ and the Church nation that all these promises and blessings are fulfilled exceeding abundantly. Thank you.

2. Galatians 3:22-26 (KJV) "But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus." This scriptures clearly tells us that faith was not revealed in the old testament. Now let's look at why faith was not revealed in the old testament and how the blood of Jesus has revealed faith to us:
FAITH WAS A PROMISE OF GOD TO ABRAHAM: Galatians 3:22 (KJV) "But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe." Faith was not revealed in the old testament because faith was only a promise of God to Abraham through his seed who is Christ. Faith as a promise could not have been revealed in the old testament when the promise was not yet fulfilled. Jesus came by faith to die for our redemption. The only assurance Christ had when He came was the promise of the Father that He would raise Him from the dead and reward Him exceedingly. Jesus came to die for sinners who did not ask Him to come so He had no physical evidence or assurance that His mission would succeed but only had faith in the promise of the Father. Same way we are called by God to carry out His assignment by faith and receive all our blessings in Christ by faith despite all obvious challenges.
The faith of Jesus to come and die for our redemption was the fulfillment of God's promise to Abraham. Abraham's faith was not sufficient to save his children but the faith of His seed Jesus. Abraham's faith only provided the platform for God to come down to the earth and carry out His plan of salvation for all men. Without the faith of Abraham and the faith of Jesus, it was impossible for God's plan of salvation to be consummated. Without faith it is impossible for God to do anything for man or with men. Hence without faith it is impossible to be children of Abraham or sons of God in Christ. In the new covenant only faith avails and nothing else. Faith is the only basis of the new covenant in Christ. We are saved by faith, walk by faith and live by faith. Without faith you have no portion in Abraham or in Christ. Without faith you have not portion in the promises and blessings of God to Abraham or to Christ.
Jesus is the revelation of the faith of God promised to Abraham, hence immediately Jesus began to preach He put faith ahead of every other demand as prerequisite for receiving anything from Him. When the gospel is preached and we believe it, the promise (faith) is given to us as a gift. Everyone is saved by the gift of this promise called faith. Abraham was only credited with righteousness until the coming and fulfillment of the promise by the faith of Jesus that will make Abraham and all his children to become the righteousness of God in Christ. By the fulfillment of the promise of faith righteousness is no longer credited but we are now the righteousness of God personified in Christ. Hallelujah! 1. Welcome to this series on Understanding What Faith Is. Of all the topics in the bible faith is the most important for every believer to know, understand and use. The bible says without faith it is impossible to please God. And whatever is not of faith is sin. The ultimate goal of every believer and all believers in God is to please God and for God to be pleased with us, as we live a true holy life. Only faith can make us please God and only faith can make us sinless before God. As a result, the primary purpose of this teaching series on faith is to unveil to us, The importance of faith in the Christian walk, What Faith Is, How we can have faith, How we can release or make our faith to work for us and Why we need to have faith, walk and live by faith, plus much more.
But before we delve into what faith is, it is important we lay a background on faith. Until Jesus came God did not demand faith from people as a means of pleasing Him or serving Him, although he expected men to believe Him, trust Him and be faithful to Him. Through out the old testament the word faith was used only once in the King James version. But the word believe or faithful was frequently used. But when Jesus came the word faith became one of His most frequently used words and in the new testament alone it was used over 237times. Why did Jesus and the apostles put more emphasis on this word faith more than God did in the old testament?
It is important we lay this background in order for us to understand how God related with people in the old covenant and God's standard for pleasing Him in the new covenant. God's relationship with every generation is always based on terms and conditions of a covenant. In the old testament they had to do something before God could do something for them but under faith God has already done everything in Christ only waiting for us to possess them by faith. Understanding this difference is important so that we don't use old covenant terms and conditions to demand or expect things from God in the new covenant.
Many believers are going to God on the old covenant terms instead of the new covenant terms of faith and faith alone as the means of worshipping, pleasing, serving and receiving anything from God. Several believers are being frustrated daily because they are not receiving what they are demanding from God. God is never at fault, in Christ Jesus in the new covenant God has done all He can do for us, He is only waiting for us to come freely and boldly by faith to take all that we desire. For all things are yours says the scriptures. Romans 10:17; 14:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; 4:24; Mark 5:34; 10:52; 11:22-24; Galatians 3:6-26; Genesis 15:6; Exodus 23:25-26; Deuteronomy 28:1-15; Ephesians 1:3; 1Peter 2:24; 1Corinthians 3:21;

Today we continue our study series titled THE BLESSINGS AND BENEFITS OF THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS to enable us to walk in the fullness of the resurrection power.

34. Here on earth, every believer by measure is a prophet of God because only the prophets in the old testament preached the word and did miracles, signs and wonders just as today every believer is called to preach and teach the gospel of Christ with healings, signs and wonders following. But in the kingdom of God in heaven, we function only as kings and priests because there will be no need for preaching and miracles only the kingly responsibility of rulership with Christ and the priestly role of teaching the word.

As prophets of God the word of God must be like fire in our heart and in our mouth to declare it everywhere and everyday. The word of God in our mouth as prophets is the sword of the Spirit through which we conquer souls into the kingdom. And as priests we are to continually intercede and pray first of all for all men so that they can be saved as required of us in 1Timothy 2:1-4 (KJV) "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth."

Our prayers and intercession as priests determines the rate of our success as prophets and kings. As priests we rule and reign first in prayer and intercession over all nations before we can win souls and rule over territories physically. The word of God is the leading word and knowledge on earth and also the most powerful word on earth, and also the only living word that gives life. So as prophets we are to speak the word as leaders, speak it with authority as kings and speak it with love and compassion of a priest. Love is the most powerful force in the whole universe. God is love. The number of souls we win determines the territory we are ruling.

As kings we are here to set captives free and cast out all the enemies of God from their influence over men on earth. This is our mandate until all the captives of the devil are set free and all the kingdom's and nations of this world becomes the kingdom and nations of our God and of our Lord Jesus Christ. Kingdom is about people not about things. As kings we are subject to nothing in this life, all things are subject unto us. So we are kings reigning in all affairs and all areas of human life. At the end even during the millennial kingdom of Christ we shall also rule and reign with him a thousand years. We must point out here that our position as kings, prophets and priests unto God does not exempt us from being subject to the human government of kings, presidents and leaders in this world. Human government and authorities are set by God so must be subject to them except where they conflict with divine authority. The bottom line of all what we are saying is that God wants you to begin to see yourself in the eyes and light of all that the resurrection of Jesus has done for you and has made you. And no more in your fleshly natural sin nature so that you can begin to enjoy the fullness of the blessings of the mystery of the resurrection power which includes eternal life and freedom from sin, sickness, diseases, poverty, demonic oppression, fear, doubts, anxieties and death.

By the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus man has been redeemed and restored from slavery, bondage, death and enmity of God to become a king, prophet and priest unto God in the image and likeness of God. A prophet is one who speaks for God. Immediately after we are saved and filled with the Holy Spirit our first and primary commission is to be a prophet of God by taking the word of God to the lost in all nations. Every believer is commissioned to preach and teach the word in season and out of season. As sons of God we are heirs of God and heirs of all His kingdom. The kingdom of God is not just the Church, the kingdom of God is made up of the church and many other nations and kingdoms that shall be brought into the kingdom of God.

The bible says Revelation 11:15 (KJV) "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever." A great king never rules his kingdom directly but through other kings and governors under him. So also as heirs of God and princes, God has made us kings to rule and reign over all the nations and kingdoms under His domain. Hence Jesus is called the king of kings. So we are first of all called to rule and reign in life here on earth in His name before the eternal kingdom comes.

Our kingship or rulership does not begin when we get to heaven but right now. The more we discover who we are in Christ Jesus and win souls, and fulfilling our ministry, we are already ruling and reigning in life here. As kings we must have the mentality of increasing our domain by being more fruitful and multiplying through soul winning. Soul winning is how as kings we conquer territories and increase our domain of leadership. No great leader is satisfied with the size of his kingdom when there are still more territories to conquer. We are more than conquerors in Christ. As we preach the gospel and win more souls we are establishing the kingdom of God on earth and causing the will of God to be done on earth as it is in heaven. In heaven we shall be given crowns as kings. Mark 16:15-20; Revelation 5:10; Ephesians 1:17-23; 2:11-19; Matthew 28:18; 1Peter 4:11; 5:4; 2Corinthians 3:2-3; 2Timothy 2:12; 4:2,8; Romans 5:17,21; 15:12; 1Corinthians 4:8; 15:25; Revelation 1:5-6; 2:10; 3:11; 17:14; 19:16; 20:4-6; 22:5; Philippians 4:1; James 1:12: Hebrews 1:8;

32. The wisdom of this world, money, fame and power can never make you a leader. Nothing carnal or of the flesh can make you a leader. Whatever makes you a leader order than God has become your god and your idol. Whatever makes you a leader is what you worship. Leadership is of the spirit and only in Christ Jesus. In Christ Jesus we can be rich, wealthy, famous and powerful but that is not what makes us leaders. It is our new life in Christ that makes us leaders. As a believer in Christ Jesus you are born a leader and the owner of all things. It is not what you own that makes you a leader. Many believers are not able to have riches, wealth, fame or power because like the world they think these things are what will make them leaders. Such thought is called coveteousness or idolatry.

Whatever makes you a leader has become your god because only God makes leaders. Believing that leaders are made will lead you into coveteousness and idolatry. But believing in Christ Jesus you are born a leader is of faith and of the Spirit. We walk by faith and not by sight. If any physical thing in this world is what makes you a leader you are not walking by faith by sight. That a believer does not look like, talk like or act like a leader does not mean he is not a leader. We are only what the word of God says we are, not what we see or feel or hear.

Leaders are not led by money. A leader does not do things because he has the money or because he believes he can do it or that he believes in himself. True leaders are led by the Spirit through the word of God. Leaders are to act only according to the word of God not according to their self belief, ambition, vision, favourable circumstances or because of money. A leader does not depend on money. A leader does not act according to the availability of money. A leader that depends on money is serving money, mammon and is coveteous. In fact such a leader is not a leader but a slave or money. Whatever you do outside of Christ and the word of God you are in slavery no matter how physically successful it may be. In the spirit you are a slave in bondage bound in chains.

Leadership is taking responsibility of what God has committed into your hand to make it profitable unto God. Not to make it profitable for yourself or for someone else. Not to influence people to follow you. Leaders are accountable. Leaders are accountable to the one who sent them. All leaders are supposed to be accountable to God who sent you into this world. You did not give birth to yourself, you did not keep yourself alive or raise yourself. A leader that is not accountable to God is in rebellion. Never follow a leader who is not accountable to God else he will lead you astray subtly. And no more in your fleshly natural sin nature so that you can begin to enjoy the fullness of the blessings of the mystery of the resurrection power which includes eternal life and freedom from sin, sickness, diseases, poverty, demonic oppression, fear, doubts, anxieties and death.

31. Leaders are born to give birth to more leaders. Primarily the purpose of marriage is for two leaders a man and a woman to give birth to a new generation of leaders. This was the divine mandate to man in Genesis 1:28 before the fall. Unfortunately after the fall man lost his sense and understanding of leadership which has given birth to all the carnal definitions of leadership today. Jesus was born to give birth to more leaders, a new brand of leaders who are kings, priests and prophets by birth. We are born again to give birth to more leaders. We are not to make leaders but to give birth to more leaders. This is the essence of the great commission.

As leaders we are called to make disciples of Jesus not our own disciples. A disciple is a disciplined follower. As a leader are you raising your own followers or followers of Christ? A Christian is a follower of Christ not a follower of a leader, or a church or a denomination. Leadership is raising followers of Christ where you are only the way to Christ as Christ is the way to God. There is subjection and dominion only in Christ Jesus. Every believer is born a world leader, and more than a conqueror.

The bible says 1John 4:4 (KJV) "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." 1John 5:4-5 (KJV) "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?"

All leaders outside of Christ are slaves of the devil no matter their social status and followership. 1John 2:15-17 (KJV) "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever." In Christ Jesus you are a new born leader created to be a leader forever and lives a leaders forever. The leaders and influential leadership of this world are false and passing away and will find out at death or at the end in hell that they were not leaders but slaves of the devil. 30. God is a spirit and man is created a spirit being. Thst is why it is your spirit that will give account of your life to God on the day of judgement. Not your mind, not your body. As a leader if you love yourself and the people, put your spirit first and put their spirit first. Put your spiritual and their spiritual needs first. Leadership is a spiritual responsibility not a carnal responsibility. Leadership is a spiritual responsibility delegated by God who is a spirit to man who is also a spirit. Carnally no one can succeed as a leader. No one can understand leadership carnally. God is the origin and creator of leadership when he created man and delegated his leadership authority to man.

Leadership is a delegated responsibility from God of which we are all answerable to God. So if God is not leading you, you cannot lead people to God. If you are not leading people to God both you and the people you are leading are lost. The word of God was given to man from the beginning to make him responsible and answerable only to God, not to men and not to his achievements. Jesus came as the word in the flesh and was responsible and answerable only to God. So as a leader you must be led by the Holy Spirit and the word of God who is Jesus. Unfortunately most of the leadership principles that are being taught by believers and the world presents leadership only as a carnal responsibility.

This is the reason why there is no difference between the definition of leadership in the Church and in the world. So also there is no difference between the leadership principles taught in the Church and in the world. Such according to Psalm 1:1-6 is walking in the counsel of the ungodly and sitting with the scornful. Whatever your spiritual, political, economic or social status as a leader your first responsibility is to be led by the Spirit of God and His word. Whatever is leading you is what is motivating you. What is your motive as a leader, what is your motivation as a leader. Is it money, fame, power, empire, achievements? Or is your motive God and His word and His kingdom.

Every leader's responsibility is to enforce the will of God on earth as it is in heaven. Is your leadership pursuing the will of God on earth or your own will or the kingdom of darkness? Only the Holy Spirit and the word of God knows the will of God. Is the word of God and the Holy Spirit your source of inspiration or motivation in your leadership. Leadership is about raising more leaders who will be led by the Spirit according to the word of God. The ultimate of leadership is to raise up matured sons of God or leaders who are exactly like Jesus, who are led by the Spirit and the word in their own sphere of leadership. 29. All through the bible the people that God counted as successful leaders were only those who were relevant in the plan of God for the restoration of man back to God. The book of Hebrews chapter eleven contains not those leaders with carnal achievements but those who by faith in God and whose faith made a way for people to know God. There were billionaires and renown leaders in advanced nations at that time such as Egypt, Edom, Ammon, Jericho, the Canaanites, Philistines. Syria, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, etc but God never used them as an example of successful people or ssuccessful nations for Israel to copy. Neither are we to copy the billionaires and advanced nations of today. Remember the church like Israel is a nation.

Jesus as a leader did not come to be a leader and have followers. Jesus as a leader came to be the way for people to know the truth about God and the truth about life. Jesus came to restore lost humanity back to God not to Himself. Jesus was sent, He had no personal vision, ambition or agenda. Jesus came to show all leaders an example that just as He was sent into this world through a woman, so all men were sent by God. Jesus shows us that leadership is about creating opportunities for people to know God and have the true life of God.

So as a leader, if your leadership is not making a way for people to know Jesus and the truth about life then your leadership matters nothing to God, nor to humanity but a deception. And at the end it will not matter in eternity. Such a leader like Adam has betrayed God and chosen to be a minister of the devil. This is the primary reason for judgement day where everyone will give account of his leadership before the one who sent him into the world.

The word of God is the only truth about leadership. Jesus the word of God is the only standard and benchmark of good leadership not the billionaires of this world or whoever has large followership. There is a saying that to be a good leader you must be a good follower. Who is your leader following? Whatever and whoever a leader is following is who and what the followers are following also consciously or unconsciously. John 1:1-4,12-14; 3:16-17; 4:34; 8:28-55; 10:10; 14:6; Hebrews 11:1-40; Deuteronomy 7:1-26; 20:1-20; Numbers 33:50-56; Genesis 3:1-24;

28. Leaders and leadership is created to led people to God, keep them in line with God and help them fulfill their divine purpose and destiny in Christ Jesus. That is why leaders are called ministers of God in the bible. Romans 13:1-4 (KJV) "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil." Only God makes leaders, any other thing that makes you a leader has become your God.

Every believer is a minister of God because we are all born leaders. Every divine purpose and destiny in Christ Jesus is a leadership responsibility. In Christ Jesus there are no slaves, or servants but sons and leaders by divine birth. Leadership is creating opportunities for people to come to Jesus, know God, discover their destiny in Christ and fulfill them. Leadership is about following Jesus and leading people to God. Man is lost and need direction back to His maker. This is the ultimate purpose for which God created leadership and human governments. Jesus the ultimate human leader said John 14:6 (KJV) "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

All men are lost under the leadership of the devil. From the fall of man, leadership was needed for only one purpose restoration of mankind back to God. From the family level to the highest level of leadership in the world, in the eyes of God your leadership is measured only by how are able to lead people back to God. As a father like Abraham, God is more interested in your raising your children in the fear of God than any other education or inheritance you may give them. 27. Seeking first the kingdom is reclaiming your leadership birthright on the earth. As a leader Adam did not have to labour for any provision before the fall. So, as far as God is concerned as leaders whatever needs we want to solve we must first of all seek the spiritual solution in the kingdom of God through Christ Jesus. Only the spiritual need of a man is eternal, all his carnal needs are temporary and lustful. Any man who is not interested in your spiritual need but only in your carnal needs does not love you but is only using you and enslaving you. Enslaving you to himself and to the flesh.

Only the spiritual provision sets a man free from the insatiable lust of the flesh. No amount of carnal provision will set a man free from sin and the bondage of the devil through the flesh. So leadership begins not in the activities of the carnal flesh but in the spiritual in Christ Jesus. Remember there is no spiritual but in Christ Jesus. All other so called spiritual activities outside of Christ are called the works of the flesh. So don't judge or follow a leader by how much he has helped humanity carnally but spiritually in Christ Jesus. Don't see a leader who has sacrificed and helped humanity carnally as a model of success.

According to Matthew 6:24-33 if you seek money first you will end up using it only for carnal things and carnal needs. No one seeks money first for the sake of the kingdom. Whoever says 'God give me money and I will use it to serve you' is lying. You don't need money to serve God. Also, if you put the desire to meet all the carnal needs first, you will inevitably need money to be able to provide them. That is why as leaders God is warning us never to put seeking money first or seeking our carnal needs first but to seek first the kingdom of God and it's righteousness. Every leader is supposed to be a minister of God and every leader should see himself first as a minister of God. All power and authority on earth was delegated by God and we are supposed to be accountable to God.

The greatest example of a leader is one who seeks the kingdom of God first and all its righteousness. Such a leader should be our leadership success model. And we have Jesus and several of such in the bible as summarised in Hebrews 11. This model applies in every area of life including politics agriculture, business, wives, children, fathers, arts, music, etc. Do not support or vote for a leader because his leadership will provide more opportunities to make money or more opportunities for your carnal needs to be met such as food, jobs, housing, clothes, social welfare or better natural standard of living. Support and vote for leaders who are putting the kingdom of God first and its righteousness. Genesis 1:28; 1Timothy 2:1-4; Joshua 1:8; Romans 13:1-7; Matthew 28:18-20; Galatians 5:19-22;

26. Leadership is about creating opportunities for human need to be met. According to Matthew 6:24-33 all the cares, labour and endeavours of this world are all aimed at making money and trying to provides all the natural necessities of life for yourself or for others. Verse 32 tells us that such is the vision and purpose of the unbeliever. But God tells us in verse 33 that even if your motive or vision in business or life is to help humanity, to provide mankind with all that will make life good and comfortable for them, it is wrong and evil. It is evil and wrong because it is a displacement of divine order and a rebellion against divine order. God says to all especially leaders put me and my kingdom first. Put the need, the necessities and the comfort of the kingdom of God first and all other needs shall be met.

So do not judge a leader or successful leadership by how much they have done for humanity financially, materially, mentally and physically. Judge a leader and successful leadership only by their belief and stand for the kingdom of God and promotion of the kingdom above their businesses and position. God knows all human needs and problems far more than any man. And God knows the solution to all human problems more than any man. As far as God is concerned all human needs are spiritual, no human needs anything carnal. The greatest need of man is spiritual. That is why in Christ Jesus what God has blessed us with are all the spiritual blessings in heavenly places not all the carnal or natural blessings.

Once you believe and receive the spiritual blessings, the natural and carnal blessings shall automatically be added without labour. Hence God strictly advices us as leaders not to labour to be rich and not to labour for carnal things. We are to labour to enter into the rest of the spiritual blessings and the natural blessings shall be added effortlessly. Seeking the spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus is putting God, His kingdom and His righteousness first. Labouring for natural and carnal blessings is walking under the curse placed on Adam. Only slaves labour for carnal blessings because they have no inheritance and are not entitled to an inheritance. From being created a leader in Genesis 1:26-29 man in Genesis chapter three became a slave of the devil who had to labour and toil from his sweat before he can provide for himself. John 3:3-8,16; 6:26-27; Romans 5:8; Mark 10:17-30; Matthew 11:28-30; 2Corinthians 8:9; 1Timothy 6:9-18; James 2:5; Revelation 3:17-18; Genesis 3:1-24;

25. A success without destination is a success without responsibility to anyone but self. It is a success that is not accountable to God or any authority. That is why most successful people in the world want to influence every law and authority for themselves. They don't want to be accountable to anyone but want everything accountable and dependent on them. You cannot declare yourself successful if so everyone can claim to be successful. God has set laws and authority on earth to determine what is success and what is failure. The purpose of laws, rules, regulations and authorities is to set destinations, limits or targets to measure and determine what is success and what is failure.

If there are no destinations then there will be no way to measure success and there will be no means of promoting people. Where there are no destinations then there are also no starting point or beginning. Success without destination is man calling himself the alpha and omega. The purpose of divine authority and authorities on earth is to establish various levels of destinations for attainment and rewards. A student success journey without destination how will the student know his graduation. Don't follow a leader who has no destination. Don't follow a leader you don't know where he is going. Don't follow a leader who is not following God. Following a leader who is not following God is coveteousness and idolatry.

Many world leaders today and successful people today hate God, Christianity and the Church because they know their leadership and success is not approved of God. They hate to be under the limitations of God or human authorities. They hate to be told to follow God or anyone. They love to be followed but the hate to follow anyone. Before you judge or follow any leader find out who he is following. There is no vacuum, you are either following God or the devil. But the lie is that the devil will never tell you to follow him and he will never make you know you are following him. Rather he will tell you not to follow God but to follow yourself or any other thing you like. 24. A leadership has no purpose but that given to him by God. A leader has no dream but that given to him by God. A leader has no work or assignment but that given to him by God. The primary drive of a leader is to daily seek to know the will of God and do them just as Jesus did. The bible says Joshua 1:8 (KJV) "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success." This is the beginning and end of leadership.

Leadership is measured by your followership of God not by people following you, societal approval, money or wealth. Such is the deception of this world. It is like the story of a wizard that was told in their spiritual meeting to kill his only son and he will be promoted and given a golden crown and a golden car worth millions naira. He killed his only son and was crowned and given the golden car in a lavish ceremony in the spirit world. At the end of the ceremony, with the crown on his head, he wanted to drive to car into reality but was disappointed to find himself awake sitting on a plantain stem as the golden car and wearing dried plantain leaves on His head as the golden crown.

Such is the lie of the influential leadership and influential leaders in this world. At the end they will die with nothing and end up in hell. Do not follow any man or any leader because of his financial, material or social influence. Follow on one who is not following God. Success is not a journey without a destination. Success is a journey to a given destination. It is not a journey to a chosen destination. A man on a journey without a destination is said to be lost. That is why God calls the unbeliever the lost because the devil is taking them on a journey without telling them the destination. Every success has destinations, but the final destination is heaven or hell. 23. Jesus did not do things to create followership, but He did everything by following the Father and pointing everyone to the Father and gave the Father all the glory. Leaders don't take glory from men. Leaders don't take honours from men. John 4:34 (KJV) "Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work." John 5:17, 19-21 (KJV) "But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work......Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will."

Leaders do not have their own vision, they run with the vision of the one who sent them or the vision of the one they are following consciously or unconsciously. Your divine purpose and destiny in Christ Jesus is supposed to be your vision. If your divine purpose and destiny in Christ Jesus is not your vision in life, then God is not the one who sent you and God is not the one you are following. Leaders are sent by the one they are following. Leaders are led. All leaders are led by the spirit of the one who sent them and the one they are following. Leaders receive ideas, directions and instructions from the one who sent them. A leader does only the will of the one who sent him or the one he is following. Christ is the perfect example of a leader and leadership. There is no man who has impacted the earth, the world and eternity more than Christ.

Leadership is a spiritual responsibility so a leader only follows a spirit. Leaders are sent by a spirit and motivated by a spirit. No leader is without a spirit. A leader does not have his own personal vision but the vision and the will of the one sent him, be it God or the devil. Don't judge a leader by any mental or outward expression or manifestation or achievement. Judge a leader by the spirit behind the leader. The spirit behind the leader is the spirit the leader is following. Find out who the leader is following before you follow or copy. All the decisions and actions, methods, ways and accomplishments of the unbeliever are called the works of the flesh. All the actions, ways and achievements of the devil are called the works of the flesh.

The bible says Galatians 5:19-21 (KJV) "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." If you follow an unbeliever or copy his leadership success model, methods and principles these works of the flesh will very soon be made manifest in your life, your organisation or your congregation. There is not successful unbeliever who does not have most of these works in their lives. 22. All leaders are led. There is no leader that is not under a leadership. Every leader has someone who is leading him and who he is following. Man was never created to be independent of leadership. The devil leads most of his followers by lying to them that they are self made leaders. All leaders are led by receiving instructions and directions from their leaders. Your leader is either God or the devil or money, power. You are either led by the Spirit or by your fleshly mind. Every mind is ruled by what you know, good or evil. You cannot create what you know. What you know is always given to you by someone through ideas. You cannot create an idea. Ideas come to you from God or the devil. Whose idea you choose is your leader.

The more you know about God the creator, the more you know about yourself and your leadership position in life above all things because you are made in the image and likeness of God. But the more you know about creation and other things, the more ignorant you become of who you are and the more bondage and servitude you put yourself. Although, outwardly your followership, money and power will decieve you that you are in leadership when in actual fact, you are a slave of the devil. Matthew 16:26 (KJV) "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"

Are you a slave leader or a free leader? Slave leaders are those led by the devil through their fleshly minds. The free leader is one led by the Spirit of God. Where the Spirit of God is there is liberty. As believers and ministers of the gospel of Christ we must make a distinction between these two kind of leaders. We are not to measure leadership by followership, money and influence. If an unbeliever is a leadership success model why be a Christian? Why did Christ border to pay such a big price for the souls of men? There is a leadership success model far more than what any multi-billionaire in the world can offer. Christ came to offer us that model. Hence as believers we must not settle for less.

As for me, no unbeliever will be richer than me before I leave this world. I know who I am in Christ Jesus. The bible says we are sitted in heaven far above all the leadership success models of this world. Greater is the leadership in you than the leadership in the whole world. The bible says of the believer and the Church in 1Peter 2:9 (KJV) "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:" As believers we are peculiar and different so also is our leadership success model. We are here as light to show the world what true leadership and true success is, not to copy them or use them as success models. Money is not a measure success in the bible. 21. When you follow God all other things will follow you. Leadership is not measured by the number of persons following you but by your followership of God. The bible says John 3:25-28, 30-31 (KJV) "Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying. And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him. John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him....30 He must increase, but I must decrease. He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all."

According to 1Corinthians 11:1, leaders are supposed to be followed only as they follow Christ. So whether in politics, religion or business we are to follow a leader only as he follows Christ. If people are following you when you are not following Christ, you a deciever and bond master taking them captive. We are created in the image and likeness of God called to live like God on the earth through our knowledge of God by His word and our living according to the word. That is the true leadership model. Everyone is a leader and everyone leads including the devil and all evil leaders of this world and they all have large followership. If leadership is measured by followership then the devil, the rulers of darkness of this world and all the evil men and women leaders of this world must be great models for leadership.

A leader's primary responsibility is to labour to learn how to be led by the Spirit of God and how to be obedient to the leadership of the Spirit. Not how to have bigger followers. From Adam to Christ and the apostles till date, leadership is measured only by followership of the leading of the Holy Spirit. That is why believers are sent into the world to turn people from the leadership of the devil to the leadership of Christ. The word of God is the ultimate handbook and workbook of leadership. So as a leader stop striving to do things so that people will follow you rather seek diligently to know more about God and follow Him and His instructions.

If leadership is measured by followership then all the prophets of Israel from Elijah to Malachi failed because Israel refused to follow them and went into captivity. God did not give Joshua any other model of successfull leadership but His word even though there were great successfull leaders in the world at that time especially in Canaan. The Canaanites were very successful nations as testified by the spies. Neither were the Israelites permitted to copy the success model of Egypt. John 10:1-18; Deuteronomy 28:1-15; 2Timothy 3:16-17; 2Corinthians 4:3-4; 10:3-5; Ephesians 6:12; Romans 8:14-17; Joshua 1:7-8;

20. As I have mentioned earlier leadership is not about the followership of men. Leadership is about following God. The bible says as many as are led by the Spirit are the sons of God. This means only those who are led by the Spirit are true leaders. God is a spirit. To be led by the Spirit is to depend and make all your decisions and actions by the instructions of the Spirit and the word of God. A leader that is not born again has a dead spirit and cannot be led by the Spirit. A leader that has a dead spirit is dead and in bondage of the devil. If you are not led by the Spirit, you are led by the flesh. Only those led by the spirit are sons of God, those not led by the spirit are slaves of the devil.

So leadership is not about who is following you and how many people are following you. Leadership is about who you are following. Who you are following determines who is following you and what is following you. If you are following an unbeliever you are following the devil, as a result sin, carnality, lusts and love of money will follow you. A true leader does not do anything to make money. If your purpose and motivation for anything is to make money, you are being led by money and the spirit of money called mammon. A son is a free leader, a slave is a bond leader. A son will set you free. A slave will put you in bondage. If you are following an unbeliever because he is a billionaire and successful in businesses, you are a slave, you are on a journey from one level of bondage to another level of bondage thinking you are free.

Money does not make you free, money does not make you a leader. Success does not make you free, success does not make you a leader. Money and success will make you a bigger slave. It is all a fleeting illusion pursued but never attained. Why do you think the wealthy and the very rich today hate God, Christ and Christianity. It is because they know Christianity is the knowledge that will set free the millions of people who are slaves to them. If they lose their slaves and the slavery system they become a nobody. Christianity is giving birth to leaders and making all men know they are created leaders by God in Christ not slaves to men, money, lusts, and the devil.

The leadership system of the world today which is called influence is built on slavery and making people slaves to men, money, lusts and the devil. Every leader today is looking for followers or slaves to serve his plan, purpose and pursuit. Today's leaders after they have enslaved and exploited the people, they set up a foundation and say they want to give back to the society what they stole or took by lies and trickery. Jesus did not come to give back to society, neither is the Church here to give back to society. Jesus and the church are here to give birth to a new nation and a new people in the leadership image and likeness of God who is the Ultimate Leader. 19. Under the leadership of the devil every man is a slave and in bondage. Part of the lie of the devil which he tried to use against Jesus as he did to Adam, is to lie to men that they are not leaders or that he will make them leaders if they follow him. It is a lie, because every submission to the devil is a submission to sin, poverty, sickness, bondage and death. Under the leadership of the devil, men as slaves have no opportunity to pray to the devil for anything or make free choice from their heart. All things are forced on men and forced as slaves into sin, poverty, sickness, demonic oppression and death. We are seeing the increase of this control from 2020 with COVID 19 pandemic.

As slaves man is forced to make only choices that will make him more bond slaves to the devil in a promise of freedom consciously and unconsciously. This is the reason why the more a man succeeds in this life in riches, wealth and achievements, the more difficult it is for him to accept the leadership of Christ, because their bondage under the devil is far more than than that of the poor and the less successful. The poor, and the sick are usually the first and the quickest to accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour because their bondage under the devil is far less than the rich. But the people and even preachers make it appear as if the poor are the ones in bondage of the devil. Most rich men of this world are living in a lie, cultism, love of money and evil covenants that makes it so difficult to accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

I came across a book on Influential leadership that said the highest level of leadership is knowing who you are. But on the contrary in divine leadership or true leadership knowing who you are in Christ Jesus is the first level of leadership. When God created Adam the first man, the first thing God made him know was that he is a god, like Him, made in the image and likeness of God and that he is the god, king and lord over all things in the air, land and seas and that he should subdue all things and have complete dominion. But the devil came and told Adam he is not yet a god, king and lord over all things, that he need to do something before he can become a god, king and lord.

Of course from this came the concept of influential leadership where people are told they are not born leaders and that they have to do certain things or take certain steps to become a leader. This teaching on influential leadership is one of the reasons many believers are struggling with knowing who they are in Christ and believing who they are in Christ Jesus. Christ has come in the new testament to restore man back to who he is in God as a son of God, a god, a king, a lord, ruler and owner of all things on earth in Christ Jesus. In Christ Jesus we are not trying to become anything, we are all that the epistles says we are in Christ. This is what the new testament is all about. The Holy Spirit and the epistles were given to us to reveal to us who we are as our first responsibility as leaders. Knowing who you are in Christ is your first responsibility in true leadership. 18. In Christ Jesus all men have been saved, redeemed and repositioned as Kings, prophets and priests unto God far above the leadership position occupied by man in Adam before the fall. Even though Jesus has done it for all men but unlike the devil, God will not force the righteous work of Christ on all men. When man sinned the devil forced all men without choice into spiritual death. He has set up the world in a system that literally forces all men into ignorance of God and His will. Just as the influential leadership system of this world hides their leadership and success secrets, they never want to raise people that will be leaders like them or even greater than them. Like the devil they are only interested in making followers and slaves of all men.

But in Christ Jesus the gospel of salvation and redemption is being preached to all men to make their choice to follow God or the devil. Unlike the devil God in Christ Jesus has not set up the world system to force all men to accept Jesus. Even though spirutually Jesus is now the supreme leader of all things in heaven, earth and underneath the earth including the devil and his kingdom, yet Jesus as a divine leader is not exerting His authority or dominion forcefully on all men.

The bible says Matthew 28:18-19 (KJV) "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:" Philippians 2:9-11 (KJV) "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Influential leadership like the devil usually sets up systems that forces people to follow them leaving people with very little choices. When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you have accepted Jesus as your new leader. As a result, you have rejected the leadership of Adam and the devil. When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour you become a Christian, a follower of Jesus and a member of the new nation of God called the Church nation. The Church nation is made of Jews and Gentiles who have accepted the new leadership of Christ. In Christ Jesus every Christian is anointed and repositioned to be a leader being born kings, prophets and priests unto God. 17. Influential leadership is mostly measured by money directly or indirectly. Influential leadership because it is of the flesh will lead followers more and more into sin and sorrow, and more and more away from God and against God. How many influential leaders in the world today are not promoting sin and rebellion against God? This is so because influential leadership is the way of the devil from the beginning. Yet we have many believers who see them and use them as role models and benchmark of good leadership.

Even among pastors and ministers who teach Influential leadership you find that gradually their teachings move away from God and the bible. Seventy percent of their example of leadership are unbelievers. It is absolutely impossible for an unbeliever to be successful in life. See nothing good in the devil. If you see an unbeliever as a successful leader then you do not understand leadership. You only know leadership in the flesh. Influential leadership teachings are driven by coveteousness and idolatry of the unbelievers. Creative leadership or divine leadership is measured by opportunities created for the recreation of the human spirit and leading men back to their ultimate leader our Lord Jesus.

Creative leadership is not about success in financial and material world but success in the spirit world today. Jesus said seek ye first leadership and success in the kingdom and the financial and materials will be added unto you. Influential leadership is about influencing people so that the influencer can fulfil his personal vision and ambition. But divine creative leadership is creating opportunities for people to discover their divine purpose and destiny in Christ and fulfill them.

Leadership is more than leading men but leading all and ruling over all things on earth in the name of Jesus. It is making all things subject unto you in the name of Jesus just as everything including the wind, the seas, food, trees, sickness, evil spirits, the devil and even death were subject unto Jesus. Even Adam before the fall all things in the air, land and seas were subject to him. As a divine leader all things are yours, all things are for your sake and all things are working together for your good and fulfilling. Influential leadership is more of leading and subjecting men under them. Influential leadership is led by money, power, and circumstances. Money, power and circumstances of life determine their decisions, actions, failure and success. 16. Leadership is of the spirit that is why for God to restore His leadership and the leadership of man on earth, He had to first of all go through the spirit and start from the spirit. First by recreating the spirit of men through Christ the new spiritual Adam and the last Adam. Through Jesus the new Adam, God and man have now conquered the devil and the old man and have reclaimed the leadership of all things in heaven, earth and underneath the earth in the spirit. Through the gospel all men are now being called into the new leadership of Christ. All who fail to join the new leadership of Christ are doomed for eternal destruction.

All who take advantage of the opportunity of a new life and leadership created by Jesus are given a new life and a new nature which is the life and the nature of God. They become living spirits like Jesus and God and through the living spirits of men, God is now leading the new man in Christ Jesus. As many as are led by the Spirit are the sons of God. Influence leads through the flesh and the mind, divine leadership or creative leadership leads through the spirit. Influential leadership only promises the things of the flesh but divine leadership promises eternal blessings.

Creative leaders lead people to God or point people to their purpose and destiny in God as Jesus did. But influential leaders lead people to themselves and their own vision, just as the devil decieved Adam to start looking unto himself by eating the forbidden fruit instead of looking unto God. Genesis 3:1-5 (KJV) "Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil."

The result of the serpent's influence on man was death, poverty, oppression and destruction. Influential leaders can never lead any man to true success but to fleshly and worldly success driven by selfishness, the love of money and valued by money. 15. Leadership is not a carnal responsibility but a spiritual responsibility. All leaders are responsible to God and accountable to God hence you can only measure or define leadership according to divine standard. Leadership has bean perverted because men are trying to lead by the flesh instead of by the spirit. The law in the old testament was added to prove to men that leadership is not about influence. Through the law God was trying to lead mankind by the His influence as the Almighty God. And you saw how the law lead men more into sin than righteousness. The law was a proof to all that influence is not the right way to lead. The law was not of faith and love.

Leadership is not about power but about faith and love. Every leadership is an opportunity to demonstrate faith in God and the love of God towards people. Influence and influential leadership is full of manipulations and the all kinds of craftiness of men in pretence of love for the people, but are busy exploiting people to further their personal leadership agenda. Most influential leaders have no faith in God or the fear of God. In fact today, they are the number one haters of God and Christianity. They know that Christianity is the number one threat to their influential leadership and their present dominance. God is love. Love is not an influence but a deliberate act of creating opportunities for the one you love despite all their shortcomings. Divine leadership is longsuffering towards people. Influential leadership only suffers for their vision, dreams and ambitions.

Divine or creative leadership is a competition of love but influential leadership hate competition and competitors, their vision is always monopoly of power and destruction of all competitors by all legal and illegal means available to them. Influential leaders want absolute control, with no faith in God or love for the people. What we saw during the COVID 19 challenges is an example of influential leadership. We will see more of such desire of leaders for absolute control until the ultimate influential leader arrives who is the Anti-Christ. The Anti-Christ is the epitome of influential leadership. All influential leaders from Cain till date are all preparing the way for the Anti-Christ.

Faith and love are of the spirit. God the father of leadership is a spirit. Leadership is of the spirit. It is impossible to lead a dead spirit. And it is impossible for a dead spirit to lead according to divine leadership. All unbelievers are spiritually dead and are incapable of manifesting any divine virtue such as leadership. It is impossible to lead spiritually dead beings. If it was possible to lead dead spirits successfully, then God would have been able to lead the devil and all evil spirits. If leadership was about influence God would have been able to influence the devil and all evil spirits. 14. In Christ Jesus every believer is now born automatically as sons, kings, priests and prophets of God. Leadership is about creating opportunities for people to fulfill their divine destinies and for their needs to be met, just as we see in Christ. People follow a leader not because they are looking for someone to influence them, but they are looking for someone who will create opportunities for them to meet their needs. The greatest need of a man is the discovery and fulfillment of his destiny in Christ. All he will ever need for life and godliness are fully loaded in his destiny.

Jesus came not to influence people but to create opportunity for man's need spiritually, mentally, physically, financially and materially to be met. Man was created to be a son, king, prophet and priest unto God but he lost it. Jesus came to restore all that man lost back to him. Jesus did not come to create followership but to point people to their destinies in God, create opportunities for them to find them and fulfill them.

After Jesus rose from the dead, He gave gifts to men to be apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastors and teachers not to influence peoplle, not to create followership but as according to Ephesians 4:11-15 (KJV) "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:"

The destiny of every man is in Christ and to be like Christ. Christ is a leader and God wants everyone to be like Him a leader. Leadership is not about followership or the ability to be followed. Man was created to lead. Every man is born a leader. Every man is born and wired to lead. Every destiny is about leadership. So like Jesus don't focus on followership but focus on helping people discover their destiny in Christ Jesus and fulfil them. Don't gather people to follow you. The bible is full of leaders who never set out to influence people or create followership yet they fulfilled great destinies. For example Hannah, Mary the mother of Jesus, Elizabeth, Joseph the husband of Mary, etc.

Leadership is not about creating loyalty to you but loyalty to Christ. A leader points people to Christ not to himself. If leadership is measured by followership and loyalty then did God fail when Adam began to follow the devil and was loyal to him and God had no one on earth following him or loyal to him. When Lucifer rebelled in heaven with one third of God's angels did God fail as a leader? When only Noah and His family were saved and the rest of the whole world followed the devil, was Noah a failed leader or did God fail as a leader, Was Satan the successful leader? That today more people are unbelievers and unsaved two thousand years after Christ does that make Christ or God failed leaders and uninfluential. 13. In Christ Jesus as sons of God, kings, prophets and priest unto God all things are ours. A person who owns all things is already a leader whether he knows it or not and whether he lives it or not. The devil owns nothing. The unbeliever owns nothing. It is the ignorance of the believer that has made it look like the devil owns everything and unbelievers being agents of the devil have stolen and are controlling everything that belongs to the believer. Just as Adam in ignorance sold out his inheritance to the devil. As a result of this ignorance, it is the devil and unbelievers who are now defining leadership and who a leader is to most believers.

The unbelievers have become role model of leaders and leadership for most believers. See nothing good in the devil. See nothing good in unrighteousness. See nothing good in darkness. Every unbeliever is darkness and unrighteousness no matter his success in the flesh. In all these the devil's motive is to get you to follow his own ways of making you a leader through sin, coveteousness, the love of money and the works of the flesh. The love of money is the root of all the wrong definitions and principles of leadership presented to man by the devil, which unfortunately many believers have swallowed and are teaching same.

Whatever you define the same way the unbeliever defines it, you are walking in the flesh and seeing things in the flesh. The unbeliever sees only with the eyes of sin and sinful flesh but the believer is to see and define all things in the eyes of the spirit and according to the truth of the word of God. I remember a newly elected President of a country that on his inaugural speech he said leadership is not a gift but that leadership is earned. Till date several ministers still quote him while teaching on leadership. No one bothers to cross check the scriptures if it is right, but just because it came from a world renowned president it must be right.

The Lord taught me several years ago to see nothing good in the unbeliever or the devil. And my pastor in the 1990s also taught me that whatever I hear or see either from the world or from ministers I should mentally scan the bible to confirm if it is true. And later my mentor taught me to also check my spirit and judge everything I hear or see. I actually listened to the live broadcast of this president's speech that day and immediately he said that my spirit rejected it as I scanned through the bible to confirm. The same thing happened to me several years ago when I first heard the definition of leadership as being an influence. 12. Leadership is not exercising influence over men but creating opportunities for men to return back to God, for all purposes and destinies begins and ends in Christ. Leadership is not creating followership or creating followership of people who will help you fulfill your personal or selfish ambitions and goals. This is the commonest leaders we have in the world today. Christ as a leader came to call humanity back to God or create opportunities for mankind to return back to God through Him. Every leader is supposed to be a divine vessel for the accomplishment of divine purposes not selfish purposes.

Cain who was of the devil was the first to redefine leadership after the fall as an act of stealing, killing and destroying in order to succeed. Leadership is not subduing and having dominion over men but subduing and having dominion over all other creatures on the earth, in the air, land and the seas including all evil spirits. No evil spirits lives outside of these three realms. So by creation and divine privilege you are created a leader over the devil and all his kingdoms in these three realms especially now in Christ Jesus.

Leadership is a divine gift and a divine nature. No leadership principle or promotion can go outside of the parameters set by God for man in Genesis 1:28 to be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, subdue it and have dominion. Even in the office it is the boss that gives promotion to whom he thinks deserves it. You cannot be promoted in higher leadership just because you think you earned it. In politics it is first the country that gives you offices you can aspire, then the party gives you platform, then the people will give you their vote. It's all gifts from beginning to the end so that only God takes the glory. All power and authority belongs to God and he gives it to whom he chooses according to His eternal plan and purpose in Christ Jesus.

Our responsibility as man and especially as believers is to discover who God has made us already in Christ Jesus and all that He has given us already in Christ Jesus, believe and accept them by faith and then fight the good fight of faith to bring them into manifestations in our lives, not to earn them. Faith is a state of rest in who you are and what you have in Christ. Therefore we labour daily to enter into that rest. We don't labour to become or get something, we only labour to manifest the leadership grace, positions and authority given to us already in Christ Jesus. That a born leader never leads does not mean he is not a leader.

If a man has one hundred million naira in his bank account and he does not know it, does that mean he is not a millionaire? If he knows and an yet fails to learn how to withdraw it to meet his needs and live like a millionaire, does that mean he is not a millionaire? This is the state of all mankind especially the believer. The work of the devil is to make sure just like this man that you never get to know you are already a millionaires, so that you can start labouring to become one or for someone or something to make you one. Even when you get to know you are a millionaire, he will put every obstacle to stop you from accessing it. He will try to frustrate you to the point that you will no longer believer it is yours or that you can have it. 11. Leadership is a divine gift to all mankind, leadership cannot be earned. You might earn to be promoted to higher leadership positions but you can never earn to be a leader. We are not to teach people how to be or become a leader. Such concept is deceptive and of the devil who never wants men to discover their divine gifts and their divine nature. We can teach people how to become a better leader and how to discover their God given leadership potentials.

The bible says in Ephesians 1:3-5 (KJV) "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will," All spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ are leadership blessings as high as heaven is from the earth. You cannot earn them. You can earn to be promoted to higher levels of leadership by being faithful with the leadership that was given to you at a lower level.

Promotion in itself is a gift from a given authority to you. You cannot promote yourself neither can you give yourself a gift. A man can receive nothing except it is given to him by God. You cannot aspire to a position that you created, you can only aspire to a given position. Leadership are in levels as we see in Genesis 1:28 (KJV) "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth."

After the fall of man and destruction of the world in the days of Noah and God told Noah to start afresh, notice that the command changed at the top. Genesis 9:1 (KJV) "And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth." You see here that God did not command them to subdue the earth and have dominion as He did with Adam. The reason being that as a result of the fall, man had lost his leadership power to subdue and have dominion to the devil. This is the reason the fallen man does not feel or see himself as a born leader hence he has to something to become one. This is also the reason behind the definition of leadership as the ability to influence.

This definition is the fallen man trying to subdue and have dominion through influence which is wrong. It is the reason people follow the 48 Laws of power to subdue and have dominion over their fellow men. Leadership is not subduing and having dominion over men and causing them to follow you. Leadership is creating opportunities for each individual to discover their divine purpose and destiny and fulfill them in God as exemplified by Christ. Leadership outside of Christ or God is bondage and death. Christ came to restore back to man his full purpose and destiny to be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, subdue it and have dominion which was lost in Adam. No unbeliever can achieve top leadership position without stealing, killing and destroying fellow men on their way to the top. James 1:17; Daniel 2:21-22; Romans 8:28-30; 11:29,36; John 1:12-13; 3:27; 8:44; 10:10; 14:13-14; Ephesians 1:19-23; Luke 10:19; Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-20; James 4:7; Philippians 2:5-11; 2Corinthians 4:3-4; 11:3,13-15;

10. The plan, destiny and purpose of God for everyman is about leadership and rulership at various levels. Every gift, calling, assignment or ministry is a leadership responsibility aimed at positioning you in leadership spiritually, financially, materially, mentally and physically. Even all our natural gifts and talents are all given to position you in leadership in your generation. The Church is the wife of Christ and the First lady of the King of kings and the Lord of lords of the Kingdom of God. When a husband becomes the number citizen of a nation his wife automatically becomes the number one lady of the nation. God never created anyone poor or weak, oppressed, or unfortunate.

It is in Christ we see God's original plan for man. In Christ Jesus no one can make Himself a leader, you are born of God to lead in various capacities such as Kings, prophets, priests, apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors, teachers, etc. God is waiting for you to seek Him so that He can reveal His leadership destiny, plan and purposes for you. Stop trying to make yourself a leader or for someone to make you a leader. This was the same lie that the devil told Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve were already made in the image and likeness of God but the devil lied to them that they were not like God except they eat the fruit God told them not to eat.

This same lie have driven many men into cultism and all manner of evil just to be a leader. The fallen man is blind and has lost all his divine virtue of leadership as a result, he knows no other way to lead but by influencing. Influence is a very passive word to use to describe a leader or leadership. Leaders are active not passive, they take the lead by creating opportunities not by influencing. Leaders create opportunities not for themselves, not for what they will get or what they will become, not to build an empire or organization but for the sake of the led.

There is a very popular book read by every leaders and most persons aspiring to be a leader called the 48 Laws of Power. When you read those laws you can understand why the world defines leadership as influence. Unfortunately many Christian leaders are reading that book and are applying most of those evil laws in leadership of their churches and organizations. I wonder how a believer will read that book and still define leadership the way the world defines it. It is either such a Christian leader is ignorant or he is coveteousness. Most of the laws in that book are all based on coveteousness. 9. It is wrong for a believer to define leadership in the eyes of this fallen world of sin and depravity. It is the same as saying that God is the leader of this world. This perception of leadership is part of what has promoted atheism because who wants to worship or submit to the one who is leading this whole world that is in such a big mess. Man's definition is different from divine definition and purpose of leadership. Fallen man will naturally define terms according their master the devil. But the scriptures should always form the yardstick of definition of all things for the believer.

Leadership is not just being a president, CEO, manager, millionaire, billionaire or high social status. Leaders are born. It is absolutely impossible for a leader to be made. Made by who, or by what? Try making a goat the king of the jungle. But even the smallest lion is born to lead. No circumstance can make you a leader, just as no circumstance can make a goat the king of the jungle. No circumstance can make you what you were not created to be from the beginning, if such a thing happens it is sin. Just as we see in Lucifer who became the devil and other spirit beings who are called demons and evil spirits. Same way man became a sinner. Sin is whatever comes short of the glory God created it to have.

From the beginning God created man to lead. He made man in His image and likeness, for this very purpose that they might have dominion. Genesis 1:26 (KJV) "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." The bible says let them have dominion, not let Adam alone have dominion or let some of them have dominion. That a man is unable to fulfill his destiny of leadership does not mean he was not born to lead. Everyone is born a leader and every one leads. Money is not leadership as the devil will want all men to think.

The devil is the one making sure that man does not discover he is born to lead just like God. So he will use all the challenges of this life to lie to you, to steal, kill and destroy your leadership mentality and destiny. The devil knows any man that discovers and believes he is born to lead he the devil cannot stop him. 8. After God created man He gave man the mandate to create more opportunities by being fruitful and multiplying himself. God did not command man to go and influence all of creation but to create more opportunities for others by multiplying himself. Just as God multiplied himself on earth by creating man after His image and likeness. Adam's mandate was to multiply gods, leaders and rulers or kings, prophets and priests unto God like himself. The more he multiplied the more opportunities he created for men not just for himself. The more opportunities men had the more they subdued and established dominion of men over the earth and all things in the earth.

When God called Abraham He did not call him by influence or to influence him, neither was Abraham called to be an influence. God called Abraham to create an opportunity for him and for all men to have a covenant relationship with God which is now fulfilled in Christ Jesus. When Jesus came He did not lead by influence but by creating opportunities for the poor to be rich, the sick to be healed, and for the captives to be set free. He died on the cross and rose from the dead not to influence the world but to create divine opportunities for all men to be saved and become sons of God, kings, priests and prophets unto God.

Leadership and rulership are one and same in the scriptures. There are no different definitions or role discrepancy between both of them in the bible. In the flesh there may seem to be a difference because of how the fallen man has abused the plan and purpose of God for all things. In the spirit there is no difference. What matters is the spirit. Whether you are a leader or a ruler you are called to have the spirit of a servant to the people. To be a servant king, leader and ruler as was exemplified by Christ.

Servant leadership is a confirmation and a recognition of the fact that all men are born leaders and we are to serve one another no matter our positions and privileges. The man Jesus came and served us, now is our time to serve Him. Every man from Adam is born to lead and every persons leads and provides different levels of leadership from time to time consciously or unconsciously. THE BLESSINGS AND BENEFITS OF THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS. Volume 2, Part 7.

1Peter 2:9 (KJV) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Today we continue our study series titled THE BLESSINGS AND BENEFITS OF THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS to enable us to walk in the fullness of the resurrection power.

7. After the fall of man, with satanic government in place man was now a slave to the devil to do all that he desires and then he will reward them with the pleasures of this world. So to a large extent the devil determines who was to be king, his prophet and his priests. So man lost his natural birthright as king, prophet and priest unto God. It is on this deceptive fallen foundation that people have come up to say that leaders are not born but that leaders are made. It is also based on this deceptive fallen foundation that the world have defined leadership as influence.

Even though there is influence in leadership but leadership is not all about influence. If leadership was about influence then God as a leader had no influence on Adam and Eve that was why they followed the devil who is a better influencer. Is that the truth? Of course no. If leadership was about influence, the influence of God would not have allowed man to fall. If leadership was about influence, God would have used influence for the salvation of man, there would have been no need for the coming of Jesus. God as the omnipotent He would have used His omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent influence to save man.

God does not lead by influence, Jesus did not lead by influence and the Holy Spirit today does not lead by influence, neither was man created from the beginning to rule and lead by influence. Influence as a method or way of leadership and rulership started when the devil ursurped the authority of man. He was not a man so he cannot rule or lead the world directly so the only way is by influencing men to make decisions and take actions according to the will of the devil. This was the beginning of influence as a way of leadership in the world.

It is scripturally and spiritually wrong to define leadership as influence. Leadership and rulership is about creating opportunities for men to fulfil their divine destinies. From Genesis we see God the ultimate leader and ruler, leading first by creating opportunities for the man He was to create later. The first purpose and responsibility of a leader is to create opportunities. It is those opportunities that create followership. Adam was created to create opportunities for God's plan and purpose on earth to be fulfilled which was to multiply and fill the earth with humanity after His kind. Genesis 1:1-29; 3:1-24; 2Corinthians 4:3-4; Luke 4:3-8; Ephesians 2:1-3,11-13; 2Timothy 2:26; 1Peter 5:8-9;

The bottom line of all what we are saying is that God wants you to begin to see yourself in the eyes and light of all that the resurrection of Jesus has done for you and has made you. And no more in your fleshly natural sin nature so that you can begin to enjoy the fullness of the blessings of the mystery of the resurrection power which includes eternal life and freedom from sin, sickness, diseases, poverty, demonic oppression, fear, doubts, anxieties and death.

If you need healing the bible says In Matthew 8:17 that Jesus Himself took all our sicknesses and diseases. Therefore you can receive your healing now by faith in the name of Jesus. Just lay your hand on the affected area of your body and say this prayer. Father God in the name of Jesus I believe that Jesus died for my healing. I believe He took all my sickness and diseases on the cross. If He took them, then I cannot have them. Therefore I resist and I reject every sickness in my body and I confess Jesus today as my healer and I receive my healing now. Thank you Jesus that I am healed. 1Peter 2:24; Ps 107:20.
Now begin to do what you couldn't do before because of the sickness. You are healed in Jesus name.

Jesus is coming very soon. Are you ready? Heaven is real, hell is real. Judgement Day is coming. The time is very short. Choose Jesus today.
You can become a born again child of God today. The bible says If you shalt confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead, you shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10; John 1:12.
