26. Under the sin nature you have no power over sin, sicknesses, diseases, poverty, the devil, evils spirits and death. You have no power over them until you change your nature to the divine nature and make up your mind to walk in your new nature. Thank God for the resurrection of Jesus that has not only given us the divine nature but has also given us power over sin, the sin nature and the devil. The power and authority of the devil over man is only in the sin nature and the flesh.

The devil has no power over a living spirit. Not only was your spirit recreated at the new birth but you also received a new nature called the divine nature. The bible says in John 1:12-13 (KJV) "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."

But remember that the sin nature still resides in your flesh. And it will do everything possible to fight and resist the dominion of your spirit, by using sin, sickness, diseases, poverty, death and the works of the flesh. The bible says in Galatians 5:19-21 (KJV) "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God". Your flesh is still a door for the devil into your life if walk in the flesh. All these sins are the door through which the devil uses to enforce the curse of the law - sickness, poverty and death into people's lives.

Romans 6:6 (KJV) Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. Never allow your old man called the flesh or your body to dominate you. You are the head over your body just as Christ is head over His body the church and the husband is head over his body the wife. As Christ is Lord over His body so we must be lord over our body and flesh. The body never rules over the head. Sin is allowing the body to rule over the head. Your spirit is the head of your life. Let your spirit rule your life through the knowledge and confession of the word.

You do not need to confess any sin to be forgiven of the sin nature but to change your nature by confessing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Confession of Jesus as Lord and Saviour is an open rejection of the sin nature and acceptance of a new nature of righteousness in Christ Jesus. You do not need to confess any sin to be saved because it is not the sins of omission or commission that made you a sinner and candidate of hell but the sin nature. No one in the sin nature can have the resurrected body of Christ which is the type of flesh, it is only for the new heaven and new earth. Colossians 3:3-4; John 3:3; Romans 5:12-14,19; 2Peter 1:9; Romans 8:11,14; 1Corinthians 15:50-54.

25. The sin nature is the foundation and the reason for every other sin, sickness, diseases, poverty, demonic oppression and death. The sin nature is resident in the human flesh and operates from there. Sin is of the devil. The sin nature in your flesh is what makes your flesh the only channel for the devil in your life and the channel of all your troubles in life. That is why all the works of the devil are called the works of the flesh. Thank God for the resurrection of Jesus that has given us a new life of divine nature which has destroyed the power of the sin nature, the flesh, sin and the power of the devil over our lives.

The sin nature is a life where the flesh has dominion over the human spirit and his soul forcing them to fulfill only the sinful desires of the flesh, which are the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life. The bible says in 1John 2:16 (KJV) "For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.".

In the sin nature and in the flesh lies all the sicknesses and diseases, poverty, evil, and death. All evil comes from the flesh. The sin nature and the flesh is the foundation and fertile soil upon which sin, sickness, poverty, death and all evil thrives. The life of the unbeliever is in the flesh because his spirit is dead. Every sin, sickness, diseases, poverty and demonic oppression is a direct attack of the devil and your flesh against your spirit. Therefore never permit them in your life. The devil has no direct access to our spirit except through these agencies.

Jesus died and rose from the dead to destroy the power of the sin nature and the flesh by the regeneration of our spirits such that now the life of the believer is now in his spirit. With your life now in the spirit, you have a new spiritual nature that has power and dominion over the sin nature, the flesh and your soul. All that is in the sin nature and the flesh - sin, sicknesses, diseases, poverty, death, evil spirits, the devil and all the works the flesh no longer has power to dominate your life. 24. The blood of Jesus was the full and complete price for sin both past, present and future. The price of sin having been fully paid forever, sin lost its power and right over any man except you willingly submit yourself to it. Even when you willingly or unwillingly do so, the blood of Jesus is always available if you confess your sins. There are Four types of sin: The Sin Nature, Sins of Omissions, Sins of Commission and Sin unto Death:

I). THE SIN NATURE: Genesis 2:17 (KJV) "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." The sin nature is not sin by commission or omissions but sin by nature. The sin nature is what happened to all human beings when Adam sinned. It is sin as a result of spiritual death of Adam the first man. When Adam sinned he became spiritually dead and through him all human beings are born spiritually dead and carrying the sin nature in them. To be spiritually dead is to be separated from God because of sin. All spiritually dead people have the sin nature. It is the sin that makes you a sinner not because of what you have done but because you were born spiritually dead through Adam. That means being a sinner by birth and nature. To be spiritually alive is to born of the spirit and having the divine nature through Jesus Christ.

God created Lucifer, all the angels and Adam spiritually alive but when they sinned they died spiritually, were separated from God and took on the sin nature. From Adam all human beings are born spiritually dead and carrying the sin nature. The bible says in Genesis 5:3 (KJV) "And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:". By natural birth all human beings are born sinners and are called sinners before they commit any sin. The sin nature is a generational sin passed on to you through your father from Adam and Eve the first sinners.

The sin nature makes you a sinner because you are a descendant of the first Adam. When you are spiritually dead and carrying the sin nature, you naturally live a life of sin because death is naturally at work in your life. And there is nothing you can do on your own to stop sinning and there is nothing you can do on your own to stop being called a sinner. As a born sinner everything you do is sin, you can never do anything that is pleasing to God no matter how good It may be. The bible says in Romans 5:12 (KJV) "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:".

This was the state of all human beings before Jesus Christ redeemed us from spiritual death and changed our nature from sin nature to divine nature. Today every unbeliever is spiritually dead until they reeceive the new birth and the divine nature when they become born again. Every unbeliever is under the law of sin death and doomed to die because of his sin nature unless he changes his nature in Christ Jesus. According to Romans 8:1-2 only the law of the spirit in Christ Jesus can set you free from the law of sin death. Being born again and having the divine nature you are no longer condemned as a sinner, you can no longer be called a sinner. A sinner is one by birth and sin nature. Genesis 3:8; Ephesians 2:1-3,12; John 1:12-13; 2Peter 1:3-4; John 3:16-17; 1Corinthians 15:21-22,45-57;

23. The first power and authority given to us as a result of the resurrection of Jesus is the POWER AND VICTORY OVER SIN. Sin is whatever falls short of the glory of God. Whatever does not glorify God or bring glory to God is sin. Sin can also be defined as whatever does not please God or bring pleasure to God. According to Romans 14:23 whatever is not of faith is sin. Sin is whatever is contrary to the word of God. Every word you speak and every action you take outside of the word of God is sin. Sin is not about what is good or what is bad or evil. Sin is every disobedience to the word of God.

The word of God is the only standard of judgment of what is sin, good and righteousness. Only God is good. The devil is the origin and originator of sin. He is the father of sin. Every sin is of the devil and everyone that sins is of the devil. Sin is the mother of all that is evil - sickness, diseases, poverty, death. By redemption a Christian is no longer a sinner. He may have sin but that does not make him a sinner because he has been washed clean by the blood of Jesus and he now has the nature of God and there is no sin in God, there is no son in the nature of God.

Our victory over sin is by the grace of the resurrection of Jesus and our redemption in Christ. We have power over sin by faith in the redemption and resurrection work of Jesus. When Jesus was crucified He took on Him all our sins, became sin and died. The wages of sin is death, but for the fact that Jesus rose from.the dead He conquered sin, death and the law of sin death. With His abolition of the law of sin and death by His resurrection, sin and death had lost their power and authority over man. Remember also that when Jesus died we died with Him and when He rose from the dead we rose together with Him and in Him. In Christ Jesus who is our life we have overcome sin forever. There is no sin in Christ, there is no sin in the new life or eternal life. Sin no longer has dominion over us because we are under the grace of eternal life in Christ.

As a Christian you can not overcome sin, sickness, diseases, poverty and death by your natural ability, self righteousness or keeping laws but by the obedience of faith. Obedience of faith is hearing, believing and acting the word of God regardless of whether you understand it and no matter the contrary situations. Faith is exercising your authority in Christ in the word in the name of Jesus - by the confession of your faith in the word and acting according to the word. 1John 4:4, 15 (KJV) 4 "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God."

Every confession of faith is a confession that Jesus is Lord. Every confession of faith is a confession that you are lord over the devil, sin, sickness, diseases, poverty and death because you are in Christ.1John 5:4 (KJV) "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." Because of the resurrection of Jesus by nature every Christian is born to live above sin and has power over sin and all that are associated with sin. John 1:12-13 (KJV)12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." ...Hebrews 11:6. 22. The second major blessings and benefits of the resurrection of Jesus is the new POWER AND AUTHORITY over all things on earth that was given to us after Jesus rose from the dead as stated in Matthew 28:18. As a result of the resurrection of Jesus and our new life in Him we have been given power and authority over the world, the devil and all the enemies of God on earth including all demons/evil spirits, sin, sickness, diseases, poverty, fear, death, unbelief, worry, anxiety, etc.

Whatever you are authorized to do to the devil you are to do the same over all other enemies of God. By the resurrection and our new life in Christ all the enemies of God have become our enemies. We have been given authority over them in the name of Jesus. When we exercise our authority over them, the bible did not say they will go but that they will flee. Flee in the Greek means they will run in fear and terror. It is your authority and responsibility to enforce the blessings of resurrection first in your own life, family and then the world. It is not God's responsibility. Don't pray to God to do it for you, step out and exercise your authority, only ask God for boldness.

By resurrection power we have received redemption and redeemed from the curse of the law namely, sin, sickness, poverty and death, which means we have been given power and authority over them.Galatians 3:13-14 (KJV) Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. One of the blessings of Abraham we receive by faith is Power and Authority. Luke 10:19, James 4:7, 1Peter 5:8, Ephesians 4:27, 1:20-23, Colossians 1:13, Romans 6:14, 5:17, Matthew 6:10.

The bottom line of all what we are saying is that God wants you to begin to see yourself in the eyes and light of all that the resurrection of Jesus has done for you and has made you. And no more in your fleshly natural sin nature so that you can begin to enjoy the fullness of the blessings of the mystery of the resurrection power which includes eternal life and freedom from sin, sickness, diseases, poverty, demonic oppression, fear, doubts, anxieties and death.

21. The natural life lives by food but the resurrection and new creation body does not live by natural food. The new life eats but does not depend on food to live. In this present life, the new creation eats food for natural strength but lives by the supernatural strengthen of the word of God.

The new creation life is not an independent life but a life totally dependent on the life of Christ, for Christ is our life. In Christ we live; we move and we have our being. Our new life is with Christ in God. All the blessings and benefits of the new life are in Christ.

When Jesus was on earth being a virgin birth He was a divine human being which means He was 100% God and 100% man. After His resurrection all who have the new life are human divine beings which means we are 100% man and 100% God. But the natural life is only 100% man. Adam was made only in the physical image and likeness of God for he was only a figure of Jesus who was to come. But we the new creation are made both spiritually and physically in the image and likeness of God.

Remember the new life is one man who is Christ. He is the head and we are the body. Christ is our standard of the new life. We have the new life in our inward man, it is our responsibility to live it out to the world to see. The world wants to see to believe. Don't tell them who you are show them who you are. Luke 4:4; 24:39; Acts 17:28; Colossians 3:1-4; Ephesians 1:3; Colossians 1:15; Ephesians 4:17-32; 5:23-32; 1Corinthians 12:12-27; 1Peter 2:9;

20. The sons of Adam have a natural body but the sons of the new creation have a spiritual body. While the children of Adam are human beings, the sons of the resurrection are spiritual beings. The sons of Adam have dead spirits but the sons of Jesus are not only living spirits but also life giving spirits. While the natural body is mortal, perishable and dying daily, the spiritual body is immortal, indestructible, never dies and is renewed day by day unto the perfect day.

While the natural body is flesh and blood, the resurrected body is flesh and bone. While the life of the natural man is in his flesh and blood, the life of the new creation is in his spirit. The new creation is who you are by faith as a believer. Who you are in the spirit may not be seen or felt physically but we must believe and understand it by faith. Hence we are called to live by faith. Only faith pleases God because God is a spirit. We are spirit beings also so only living by faith should please us. Faith is the only way and life of the spirit in this world.

The natural man lives by what he can see, touch or feel but the spiritual man the new creation lives only by faith. We see by faith, we feel by faith and we contact all realms by faith. We are created to rule and reign but by faith. Don't try to rule physically. You can only rule physically what you can see, touch and feel, but spiritually we rule over both the invisible and the visible realm of the heavens, earth and under the earth. The natural life can only rule over physical things but the new creation life rules over both the spiritual and the physical realms.

The new creation and the new life is omniscient omnipotent and omnipresent by faith. The new life possesses all the fullness of the divine nature. 18. When Jesus said He is the way, the truth and the life, He was telling all that His resurrection is the new way and the only way to the new creation and the new life. It is the only truth about life after death. There are many religious views and doctrines about life after death and eternity, but Jesus was telling all that His is the only truth of them all. When He said I am the resurrection and the life He was telling all that though all mankind will be resurrected on the last day but only those who resurrect with Him will receive eternal life. When Jesus said He is the Bread of life and the word of life He was telling all that there is a spiritual food and a natural food. The only food you can eat and have eternal life is Himself and His word. Eternal life is called Zoe in the Greek, the life of God that never dies. When we take the communion bread and wine it is our celebration of eternal life, the new life and the new creation we now are in Christ Jesus. John 14:6; 11:25; 6:27-58; 3:16 2Corinthians 5:17-18;

19. In 1Corinthians 15:39-54 the bible says the resurrection of Jesus not only gave us a new life and made us new creature but that the resurrection of Jesus also gave us a new body. It is called a heavenly body. The body of Adam and all men is called terrestrial earthly body but the resurrected body of Jesus and all His sons is called celestial heavenly body. While the body of Adam and all his sons are corrupted with sin and death, the resurrected body of Christ and all saints is incorruptible having the life of God in it. While the Adamic body is full of reproach, shame and dishonour, the resurrected body of Jesus is full of abundant life and glory. While the Adamic body is weak and frail, the body of the new creation is full of power, authority and dominion. 1Corinthians 12:12-27; Romans 5:12;

16. The new life of the spirit is a higher life. While the sons of Adam were born of the seed of a man, the new life is born of God and of the seed of the word of God. While the sons of Adam are born of the earth, the resurrected new creation is born of heaven and from heaven, having the spirit of God, the mind of God and the wisdom of God. 1Peter 1:23; 1Corinthians 2:10-16; 15:42-49; Romans 1:1-14; Ephesians 1:8-9,19-23; 2:4-6; 3:10;

17. The resurrection of Jesus is what brought salvation to all men. Not His coming, His birth, ministry or His death. He died for the sins of all mankind but He rose for the salvation of all. Without the resurrection His death would have been in vain. God's plan in Christ resurrection is so that no man will go to hell. Hell was created only for Satan and the fallen angels, not for any man. When Adam sinned he and all mankind took on the nature of the devil, as a result became joint partakers of hell with the devil.

God sent Jesus to pay the price of sin for all men so that man will not follow the devil to hell. By the resurrection Jesus came to change the nature of man. The old nature or old life was for hell but the new nation, the new creation and the new life is for heaven. Now after the resurrection of Jesus, whoever goes to hell is not a matter of whether you are a good or bad person but a matter of nature. The old nature is evil and devilish but the new nature is divine. Whoever ends up in hell it is not God who sent him there but a matter of choice. It is not their sins that sends people to hell but their sin of rejection of the new life in Christ Jesus.

The new life is the future of the world, the old life is passing away forever. Just as only the sons of Adam are permitted to live on earth now, so also after judgement in the new earth and the new heaven only the sons of Jesus Christ the new man will live on the new earth. The resurrection of Jesus not only created a new man and a new life but has also made all things new including, a new creation, a new man, a new nation called the church, a new peculiar people, a new heaven and a new earth. All these are what constitutes the kingdom of God. Except a man is born anew he cannot be part of the kingdom of God. 15. Another of the blessings of the resurrection of Jesus is the gift of the faith of God we receive when we become born again (new creature). Jesus was raised from the dead through the faith of God the Father. As a result, the resurrected life is born by faith not naturally. The bible says in Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

As the faith of God saved Jesus from the dead by the resurrection so also your faith in what Jesus did is what activates the resurrection power to regenerate your dead spirit unto the new life which is called being born again. To be born again simply means the resurrection power raising your dead spirit together with Christ from the dead unto a new life and a new man.

Also, all the promises and blessings of God are in Christ Jesus. Whoever wants to receive any promise or blessings, it is your faith in the power of God or the faith of God that raised Jesus from the dead that will bring the promise or blessings from the spiritual realm to the physical realm for you.

The resurrection is the beginning of a new life of the spirit. You were given birth to by faith and faith is of the spirit. The faith that gave birth to you is not your faith but a gift of the faith of God. That is why every believer is born of God Himself directly and every believer is of God. And all things concerning him are of God. This new life of the spirit has power over sin, death, sickness, disease and bondage unlike the old life of Adam of flesh and blood. The new life of the spirit has unlimited power because it is not just a spirit life but the life of the Spirit of God who is almighty, omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. 14. Jesus is called the Alpha and Omega because as the first born or first begotten from the dead He is the beginning of the new creation and the ending of all creation. Nothing can exist and nothing can live outside Him. All things outside Him are death and nonexistence. There is no life and existence in hell and lake of fire because there is only one life, the new life, the eternal life. Just as in this world when a person dies He ceases to exist and as a matter of time the memory of him cease also, so even more in eternity in Christ there shall be no memory of any one in hell or lake fire forever.

Whoever rejects the new life and the new creation in Christ ceases to be a creature or a creation. The lake of fire is an eternal banishment with no remembrance of anyone there by God, Jesus or we who will be in heaven. In this life you may have the remembrance of a dead one but in heaven there is no memory or recall of anyone in the flesh once they are banished to the Lake of fire. There are no regrets, or sorrow in heaven. If you can remember anyone in the Lake of fire then you can have regrets and sorrow in heaven.

Most times people do not understand the gravity of going to hell, they compare eternity with this life. Hell is a total and complete separation from God and from any form of existence. It is not partial or temporary but eternal. Do not wait experience it, avoid it now while you can, tomorrow may be too late. There is eternal life only in Jesus Christ. 12. Jesus died a natural man but rose a spiritual man. All men were crucified with Him naturally and all were raised with Him a spiritual man. Even though it was for all and with all but God will not force anyone to accept His lovekindness to us through Christ. Only those who believe and accept are accepted and received into the new creation. To accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour is to move from a natural man to a spiritual man, from sons of Adam to sons of God. The new creation is a spiritual man, a spirit in the exact image and likeness of God having His life and all His attributes. 1Corinthians 15:42-49; 2Corinthians 5:14-15; John 1:12; 3:3-5.

13. By the power of the resurrection the Holy Spirit or the glory of God that raised Jesus from the dead now lives inside every believer. The Holy Spirit in us is the spirit of Jesus by which we share the same spirit as one new man, new life and a new creature. This new creation and new man had never existed before hence Jesus is the first begotten and the firstfruit with us all who believe. The bible calls us who believe a peculiar people or a new specie of people.

The Holy Spirit in us is is the glory of God in us. For the first time in all creation we have a people carrying the glory of God not just upon them and around them but much more inside them. Every new creature is a carrier of the glory of God inside Him because of the resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead. As a result, it is the Holy Spirit or the glory of God in us that actually makes us a new creation, a new creature and a new man with a new life. It is a new life which had never existed and no one will ever exist with this life except in Christ Jesus. 11. When Jesus was crucified, He died and was buried, every sin and every sinner was crucified, died and was buried with Him. And when He rose from the dead every man and every sinner rose with Him potentially unto a new man and a new life. Jesus came for all, died for all and rose for all. That is the reason why the gospel is preached to all both to those who will accept it and those who will not.

Every one and almost every religion wants eternal life but without the cross which is the crucifixion, the death, the burial and the resurrection of Jesus. A rejection of the cross is a rejection of the coming of Christ in the flesh and His sacrificial work. If Christ did not come in the flesh, then there was no cross, no death, no burial and no resurrection. If you cannot accept the cross you cannot have the resurrected life in Christ Jesus.

Accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour is accepting not only His sacrificial work but also accepting your participation with Him in all the process leading to the resurrection and your resurrection with Him. If you do not accept being part of the whole process with Him you cannot be part of the new creation, new creature, new man and the new life.

The gospel is a divine offer to all but as many as receive it are given power to become the sons of God together with Christ. The sons of God in Christ Jesus are the new creation and the new creature. Sonship with Christ is for only those with resurrected life or eternal life. 10. Being the first begotten from the dead Jesus is also called the firstfruit from the dead. For the first time death produced life. Out of death came forth life, not just life but eternal life. By this Jesus became the author of the life of God or eternal life for all who believe in Him. He is the resurrection and the life not resurrection and death. He is the only way for any man or creature to receive eternal life. He is also the one who is the true life and who has the truth concerning eternal life. Jesus is the bread of life. This life only survives and is sustained only by feeding on the bread of life which is the word of God. Jesus is also the fountain of life and the living water. He is also called the word of life. This life is in the word.

By His resurrection Jesus has became the personality and the personification of eternal life. No one can have access to this life except by Him and through Him. Since this new life is the life of God also no one can have access to God except through Jesus. The resurrected life of Jesus is also called the light of life. Every other life is a life of darkness and in darkness. But the new life in Christ Jesus is the light of all men. This light and this life is so powerful that no darkness and no evil can stand before Him.

The resurrected life in Christ Jesus is the eternal life. There are and there will be other resurrections but only the resurrection of those who believe in Jesus gives eternal life. By His resurrection Jesus alone has the power of resurrection. At the end He will resurrect all men, those that believe in Him unto eternal life and those that rejected Him unto eternal damnation. By His resurrection He has all power and authority to judge all men. For He has been given all power over all things in the heavens to judge the angels, all things on earth to judge all men and all things under the earth to judge all who are in hell and all who are in the land of the dead. For by His resurrection He has the keys of hell and death.

As the Alpha and Omega He decides the beginning and the ending of all things. One of the sweetest benefits and blessings of the resurrection of Jesus is that all who believe in Him becomes who He is and has all that He has. 9. To confirm the justice and success of what Jesus did God raised Him from the dead. If His atonement was illegal, unacceptable and unjust it would have been impossible for Jesus to be resurrected from the dead. But death and the grave could not hold Him because He was guiltless and without sin.

By His resurrection He was raised as a new man, a new creature to start a new creation with a new life. The resurrection of Jesus is indeed the secret of the future of the world and all creation. By His resurrection, Jesus became the first begotten from the dead or the first born from the dead. No one had ever resurrected unto life after both spiritual and physical death. Jesus was the first.

In every other resurrection people are raised only to die again later physically and or spiritually. But the resurrection of Jesus He was raised to a new life called eternal life which is the God kind of life. A life that shares all the qualities and attributes of God. This life was not available or accessible to man in the Adamic dispensation. It is a life that is above death. 8. The second major Blessings and Benefits of the Resurrection of Jesus is that it provided A NEW CREATION, A NEW LIFE AND A NEW MAN. The major difference between other resurrection accounts in the bible and the resurrection of Jesus is that the resurrection of Jesus ushered in a new dispensation and a new beginning in the plan and purpose of God. The resurrection of Jesus was the beginning of a new creation, a new creature, a new man with a new life completely different from the existing kind of life which God started with Adam.

When God began the first creation in Genesis chapter one, He started with one man Adam. But Adam sold out His life to the devil, sinned, corrupted his life with sin and death, fell as a result and sentenced all men unto death. From then, God began a plan to start a new creation through a new Adam called Jesus Christ and to terminate forever the Adamic life, sin, death and the devil.

At the fullness of time of the plan of God, He sent His son Jesus who became a man so that He can pay the price of the sin of Adam and all men. With His blood and His life He paid the full price of death both spiritual and physical death to atone for the sin of man. For the wages of sin is death. By His death He had legally and judicially successfully terminated the Adamic life and received authority to take over as the new Adam and the new man. 7. The glory of God that raised Jesus from the dead was the glory that came down or the presence of God that came down to accept the offering and sacrifice of the blood of Jesus and to glorify Him. If the blood of Jesus was unacceptable there would have been no remission of sins and all men and all creation would have no hope and no faith. Without His resurrection all God's plan and purpose from creation would have failed completely without remedy and all of creation would have been doomed forever.

Even Jesus Himself would have been doomed if He was not resurrected. Without the resurrection, Jesus would have remained in hell and Hades the place of all dead waiting for the white throne judgement of God. Without the resurrection of Jesus, God would have lost His Godship because He would have been a liar, because all His promises to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and David would have failed. Also having promised Jesus also of His resurrection, God would have lied and would have been in the same class as the devil who is a liar and a deceiver.

Without the resurrection of Jesus the name of Jesus would have had no power or significance, the devil would have won and all power and authority would have domiciled with the devil. Without the resurrection of Jesus the law of sowing and reaping would have failed, there would have been no rewards or judgement for any one's actions including the devil. The fallen man and the earth would have been at the mercy of the devil to rule and reign the world forever. With no redemption there would be no righteousness, no justification and no faith. Today we continue a new series of study titled THE BLESSINGS AND BENEFITS OF THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS to enable us to walk in the fullness of the resurrection power.

4. When Jesus rose from the dead by so doing He defeated and destroyed all the weapons and arsenal of the devil who is the god of this world and He took over absolute control of all things in heaven, earth and underneath the earth. Satan as a result lost all and Jesus took over all. Colosians 2:11-15; Revelation 1:18; Matthew 28:18; Luke 10:18-20;

5. The first and the most important blessing and benefit of the resurrection of Jesus is that it is THE ANCHOR AND ESSENCE OF CHRISTIANITY AND THE CHRISTIAN FAITH. Without the resurrection of Jesus there is no Christianity and there is no faith. The bible says in 1Corinthians 15:14-19 (KJV) "And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable."

6. The resurrection of Jesus was the completion of the redemptive work of the blood of Jesus. Without the resurrection all that Jesus suffered would be in vain, His leaving all His majesty and coming to the earth to be a man would have been in vain, His blood would have been in vain. The resurrection of Jesus was the confirmation that His sacrifice and the ransom for our all our sins was accepted. Ephesians 1:7; Colossians 1:13-14; 1Peter 2:24; Revelation 1:5; Hebrews 9:14-15; 10:1-18;

The bottom line of all what we are saying is that God wants you to begin to see yourself in the eyes and light of all that the resurrection of Jesus has done for you and has made you. And no more in your fleshly natural sin nature so that you can begin to enjoy the fullness of the blessings of the mystery of the resurrection power which includes eternal life and freedom from sin, sickness, diseases, poverty, demonic oppression, fear, doubts, anxieties and death.

Today we begin a new series of study titled THE BLESSINGS AND BENEFITS OF THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS to enable us to walk in the fullness of the resurrection power.

2. The resurrection of Jesus was the highest manifestation and demonstration of the power of God. There are three levels of divine power spoken of in the old testament. The first is the finger of God which speaks of the power of God that produces miracles, signs and wonders. The second level is the hand of the Lord which is the power of God that comes upon a man to anoint him to work for God and the power of God to bring victory for his people or to execute judgement against His adversaries.

The third is the arm of the Lord which is the power of God that demands the physical presence of God in form of His glory. The bible says in Romans 6:4 that Jesus was raised from the dead by the arm of the Lord or the glory of God. In Ephesians 1:19 Paul describes the power of the resurrection of Jesus as the exceeding greatness of God's power and the working of His mighty power. Exodus 3:19-20; 7:5; 8:1-19; 13:3-16; 31:18; 1Samuel 7:13-14; 1Kings 18:46; Exodus 16:7-12; 40:34-35; Leviticus 9:6,23; Numbers 14:10-23; 1Kings 8:10-11.

3. In the resurrection of Jesus is hidden all the secrets of divine victory. Most of all in it is hidden all the secrets of the plan and purpose of God for His kingdom, the final destiny of man and the devil. As a result, the power of the resurrection of Jesus is the secret to a victorious and prosperous Christian life, because at the resurrection all the enemies of the believer were defeated.

Because the resurrection power is a mystery, it therefore requires the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ for our eyes to be opened to see the unsearchable riches of the resurrection of Jesus. Hence the Holy Spirit through Paul prayed this prayer in Ephesians 1:16-23, which we are advised to pray for ourselves, for our congregation and for all saints. Zechariah 4:6; 1Corinthians 2:7-10; Ephesians 3:1-11; Romans 11:25; 16:25; 1Corinthians 15:51-57; Colosians 1:26-27; 4:3; 1Timothy 3:9,16;

1. The word resurrection in the Greek means a rising up or standing up again unto eternal life or unto eternal damnation. The resurrection of Jesus from the dead was not the first time a person was raised from the dead in the bible. But the resurrection of Jesus was outstanding and peculiar because it is filled with great mysteries or divine secrets above all the wisdom this world and the devil. It was a mystery that was hidden from the old testament prophets and saints and also hid from the devil and all his kingdom.

Even though Jesus kept announcing His death and resurrection yet both his disciples, the Jews and the devil could not understand Him. Hence the scripture says in 1Corinthians 2:7-8 (KJV) "But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory." If the devil, the Jews and the Romans knew the mystery of the resurrection they would not have crucified Jesus. Ephesians 1:9; 3:1-11; 1Kings 17:17-24; 2Kings 4:8-37; Mark 5:35-43; John 11:1-44; Romans 11:25; 16:25; 1Corinthians 15:51-57; Colosians 1:26-27; 4:3; 1Timothy 3:9,16; Matthew 16:21; 17:22-23; Mark 9:31-32; Luke 9:44-45; 18:31-34.

Today we conclude our study and understanding of THE REVELATION OF THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD THROUGH THE BLOOD OF JESUS and all its blessings and benefits to us.

30. The righteousness of faith believes only the word of God and takes the word as the only evidence of belief. For example if the word says you are healed by the stripes of Jesus, you have to believe it even though there is nothing physical to prove so. Just as when you got born again you were made righteous and blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus instantly, yet there was nothing physical to prove that. When Jesus died for you and rose to save you, you were not there physically to prove if it was true yet you believed it because the bible says so.

If you can believe that, you can believe all other promises of the bible same way. That is the lifestyle of the righteous. It is this faith action that makes him righteous and holy before God and that is how he lives a righteous and holy life before God. The righteous shall stand by faith always in his righteousness in Christ regardless of all weaknesses, challenges and circumstances before him. The life of faith is a confirmation and affirmation of our faith in the grace of the finished work of the blood of Jesus.1Peter 2:24; Ephesians 1:3; 6:13-14; Psalm 107:20; Romans 8:16.

31. By the new covenant, in the Holy of Holies of the sanctuary in heaven, the blood of Jesus constantly cleanses all unrighteousness. For by one offering forever we are made righteous. There is no sin in the Holy of Holiest neither is there any knowledge or remembrance of sin there. On earth the Holy of Holiest is inside every believer because you are the temple of God, His sanctuary and His house or God's dwelling place. In heaven the believer is in the Holy of Holiest in Christ Jesus who is the High Priest ever present and ever holy there in the presence of God. And on earth in your spirit is the Holy of Holiest where the fullness of the Godhead dwells with you. Hebrews 8:1-6; 9:11-15,23-26; 10:11-22; 1Corinthians 6:19; 2Corinthians 6:16

32. Every Christian is as righteous before God as Christ because we are in Him. We share same righthand of God and are joint heirs with Him. He is our life. Same way God loves every believer equally as He loves Christ. For the believer, in the new man, the real you, in your spirit there is no sin, no knowledge of sin or remembrance of sin because the blood has purged your conscience of all sins. When you sin as a believer, you confess them and you are forgiven and purged of it. Remembrance of past sins is only in the mind and flesh. In the presence of God there is no knowledge or remembrance of sin because the blood has cleansed and washed all away once and for all. That is why God forgives and forgets all our sins. The blood of Jesus washes such that there is no trace, no spot or wrinkle. This is the work of the righteousness of God through the blood of Jesus. Hebrews 9:13-15,24-26; 10:1-10; Ephesians 4:24; 5:26-27; 1John 1:9.

Let's continue from where we stopped last time on the meaning of Righteousness and all its blessings and benefits to us:.

28. THE LAW WAS NOT GIVEN TO ATTAIN RIGHTEOUSNESS:
The law in the old testament was not given by God for man to attain righteousness. The law was given to point man to the grace of the blood of Jesus symbolised in the animal sacrifices. Righteousness is only in the blood not in the law. The animal sacrifice was given to them knowing they can not keep the law. The blood sacrifice was to wash away all their failures in the law and impute righteousness to them. The law imputed sin on people instead of righteousness because in the law is the knowledge of sin. But the grace of the blood of Jesus in the new testament does not impute righteousness but makes the believer the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

The law was given to Israel to show them that they were hopeless sinners who need to trust only in the righteousness of the blood of atonement offered once a year for all their sins. Instead the Israelites trusted in the law instead of the blood. Just like today we must trust only in the blood of Jesus not in our works of righteousness. The Israelites missed God and rejected their messiah Jesus because they were trying to attain righteousness through the law of Moses. They were trying to earn righteousness when it was supposed to be a gift. Jesus came as a gift of righteousness to all men who believe. Hallelujah! In the name of Jesus I break the power of the enemy over your life today. Hallelujah! Romans 3:10,19-26; 9:6-8, 30-33; 10:1-13; Galatians 3:1-29; Romans 5:13; 2Corinthians 5:21; Leviticus 16.

29. Righteousness is not a gradual process you get to attain. Righteousness is an instant gift that comes together with the salvation package. Without righteousness there is no new birth, no new creation and no new creatures. The just shall live by faith is the same as saying the righteous shall live by faith because in the Greek the word righteousness and the word justification comes from the same root word. You live by faith in Jesus and God the father who made you righteous since you were not redeemed or justified by your own works.

Righteousness is living by faith in whatever God tells you in His word not in what you are able to do for God. Righteousness is who you are, not who you become or what you try to become. Righteousness is not a thing but a person. Jesus is the personification of righteousness, only in Him is righteousness. A believer is righteous because we are in Christ. 2Corinthians 5:17; Romans 1:16-17; John 1:12-13; 3:3; 1Peter 2:9-10; Philippians 3:9.

27. THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IS REVEALED ONLY IN THE NEW TESTAMENT:
The righteousness of God is revealed only in the new testament because of the blood of Jesus. It was one of the mysteries of God that was hidden from the old testament but revealed to us today because righteousness or right standing with God is only in the blood of Jesus not in the law or animal sacrifices. Righteousness is only revealed in the love of God. Only in Christ and His blood was the love of God revealed.

Righteousness is only in Jesus whether old testament or new testament. In the old testament they obtained righteousness by looking ahead to the blood of Jesus in the animal sacrifices. But in the new testament we obtain righteousness by looking back at the blood of Jesus on the cross. The animal sacrifices of the old testament was a type of the blood of Jesus. As a result in the old testament righteousness was only credited to all who by faith walked in the righteousness of the blood of Jesus that was to come which was typified in the blood of the animals sacrificed.

God wanted the Jews to put their faith in the blood sacrifices not in the dos and don'ts of the law. All who tried to please or appease God through the righteousness of the law failed to obtain righteousness. Same applies today, we must put our faith only in what the blood of Jesus has made us and has given to us freely, We must not put our faith in our works or acts of service. Hallelujah! In the mighty name of Jesus from today you shall begin to make speedy progress and no man shall be able to stand before you. Hallelujah! Romans 4:1-12; Ephesians 3:1-11; Romans 16:25-26; 2Corinthians 5:21.

26. RIGHTEOUSNESS AND PRAYER:
In James 5:16-17 the bible says the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Every believer can pray the effectual fervent prayer because he is born righteous. Never disqualify your self from the blessings of God based on what you see, what you feel or what someone said. One of the greatest enemy of our righteousness is the unbelief that you are not righteous enough because of what you see or feel about yourself.

Many are unable to pray, others even while praying and after praying doubt their ability to receive the answer due to their feeling of unrighteousness. The feeling of unrighteousness is a lie of the devil. Righteousness is not a feeling but a fact. Our righteousness in Christ is not a natural fact but a spiritual supernatural fact. The first key to the believer's victory is knowing and believing strongly in who you are in Christ, not in what you see or feel about yourself.

Always learn and choose to believe only what the bible says you are in Christ, what the bible says you have in Christ and what belongs to you regardless of all contrary evidence. Let the word of God be true to you always and every other thing a lie. If Elijah can pray to stop rain and to bring down rain, a believer can do likewise because of our righteousness in Christ. In Christ Jesus we have authority over all the elements and over all of creation in the earth. Positionally all believers are greater than all the old testament saints in righteousness and in power. Hallelujah! In the name of Jesus All that you have lost from the beginning of this year shall be restored back to you today. Hallelujah! Matthew 11:11, John1:12-13; 3:16; 1Kings 17:1; 18:1,41-16; Philippians 3:9.

25. RIGHTEOUSNESS IS PERMANENT AND ETERNAL:
Positionally our righteousness in Christ Jesus is not temporary but permanent and eternal in Christ Jesus not in ourselves. It cannot be lost. It is as permanent as the new birth and can only be lost if you lose your salvation in Christ Jesus. Righteousness is not just an external thing but an inward spiritual truth. It is part of the nature of the new man. The bible says in Ephesians 4:24 (KJV) And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.. It is once and for all. Righteousness is not something you have to work to maintain, it is a state of being. We are the righteousness of God not by what we have done but because of our position in the redemptive work of the blood of Jesus and who we are in Him. For in Him we live, we move and we have our being. As He is in heaven so are we in this world.

As a result the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus does not grow and does not diminish. We may grow in practical righteousness or grow in faith in our righteousness in Christ Jesus but not in our position in Christ. There is no where in the new testament we are told to grow in righteousness or to pray to be more righteous or desire to be more righteous. We are only told to pray to walk in it, live by it, and bear fruits of righteousness, but not to grow. And there is no where we are advised or admonished to ensure we do not lose our righteousness. Righteousness is a positional truth we have in Christ being members of His body regardless of our circumstances.

Your head cannot be more righteous than any other part of your body. They all share in one and same righteousness. But we are commanded to bear fruits of righteousness at all times. In this case some people may be more fruitful than others but that does not make them more righteous. Fruits of righteousness includes faith, love, holiness, obedience, service unto God and other fruit of the spirit. Ephesians 4:24; 2Corinthians 5:21; Colossians 2:9-10; Acts 17:28; Philippians 1:11; Ephesians 4:24; Titus 3:5-8; Galatians 5:22-23; 1Cor 15:36; Romans 10:1-10; 2Cor 3:9.

24. THE THREE KINDS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS:
There are three kinds of righteousness - Positional righteousness, Self righteousness and Practical righteousness. Self righteousness is living a good moral life in your eyes and in the eyes of men and expecting to please God through your works. The self righteous pays more attention to obeying natural laws than obeying spiritual laws. They choose to obey and keep laws than obey the word of God. They are more concerned with being justified by laws than by the word of God. Apart from Christianity all other religions of the world are based only on self righteousness as a means of pleasing God.

Positional righteousness is the Christian righteousness. It is righteousness based on our faith in Christ and our position in Christ Jesus. On the cross Jesus took our place and became sin and we took His place as the righteousness of God. The bible says in 2Corinthians 5:21 (KJV) For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.. Positional righteousness is righteousness based not on what we have done but based on our position in what Christ had done on our behalf on the cross.

Practical righteousness is living by faith daily in the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Practical righteousness is available and possible only in the life of the believer. No unbeliever can live a practically righteous life. Practical righteousness is by faith. It is living a holy life by faith in the midst of this sinful world, It is living in divine health by faith in the midst all the sicknesses ravaging the world daily, living in prosperity by in the midst abject poverty and penury in this life.

Practical righteousness is living your full long life of not less than seventy years and dying at your choice time in the midst of this world full of fear of death and untimely deaths, discovering your divine purpose and destiny and living for it only in the midst of this world filled with selfish ambitions, lusts and love of money, etc. Practical righteousness is living in the spirit and walking in the spirit. It is living for God by faith in this godless world. I pray for in the name of Jesus your faith will not fail. Romans 8:1-17; 12:1-12; 1Corinthians 3:21-23;

22. RIGHTEOUSNESS IS FAITHFULNESS TO THE WORD OF GOD:
God is called righteous because of His faithfulness to His word not by His works. The works of God are called righteous because they are according to the faithfulness of His word and according to His faithfulness to His word. So also our works can only be accounted righteous when they are done by faith in the word of God not by our ability. Same goes with prayers and other actions. If your prayers are based on the faithfulness of God to His word then your prayers shall be accounted righteous and pleasing to God.

But if they are based on your emotions, feelings and carnal desires they are unrighteous before God and a waste of time. Unfortunately many spend so much time praying unrighteous prayers. Learn to pray in the spirit, it is one of the easiest way of praying a righteous prayer. You cannot pray an unrighteous prayer when you pray in the spirit. The bible says in James 5:16 (KJV) ".... The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." I pray for you that from today your prayers shall begin to avail in the mighty name of Jesus. Galatians 2:16; Philippians 3:9; Titus 3:5-8; Mark 11:24; 1John 5:14-15.

23. THE BLOOD OF JESUS MAKES THE DIFFERENCE:
The blood of Jesus is the righteous, true and perfect mediator between God and man. And it is what makes the difference between the righteous and the unrighteous. What the blood is to us today is what the circumcision was to the Israelites. As the circumcision was the seal of the faith of Abraham so the blood of Jesus is the seal of our righteousness in the new covenant.

As the circumcision was the difference between Israel and the rest of the world so also today the blood of Jesus is the difference between the children of God (the righteous) and the children of the devil (unrighteous). The blood of animals in the old testament could not make a difference between Israel (righteous) and the Gentiles (unrighteous) because the Gentiles also offered animal sacrifices to their gods just like the Israelites. Without the blood of Jesus deliverance of mankind from the bondage of the devil would have been impossible. 1Timothy 2:5; Genesis 17:10-14; Romans 4:11; Hebrews 7:22; 2Corinthians 6:14.

21. CONFESSION IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN BELIEVING:
In the life of the righteous confession is more important than believing. In the Christian faith and in the life of the believer what you say is more important than what you believe. To underline the importance of your confession in the righteousness of faith, Mark 11:23 (KJV) says For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

In this scripture notice the word 'believe' is mentioned only once but the word 'say' is mentioned three times showing us the divine emphasis that, what you say is what determines what you get. What you say determines your standing. In the life of faith what you say is more important than what you believe. Also in Romans 10:5-17 the bible emphasizes that what you say comes before what you believe. Confession comes before believing. Believing only comes after you have heard a confession of the word. You cannot believe what you have never heard.

Also in Mark 5:25-34 in the story of the woman with the issue of blood, it was her persistent confession that proved the righteousness of her faith to receive her healing. What you say is your righteousness speaking. What you say is where you stand in the spirit. What you say is your faith speaking. In James 3:1-12 the bible tells us it is your tongue that determines the direction of your life. And in Matthew 12:37 the bible says by your words you are declared righteous and by your words you are condemned. I pray for you, just like a bird all your reproaches shall fly away in Jesus name. Proverbs 18:21

19. HOW DO YOU GET THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF FAITH TO WORK FOR YOU:
The righteousness of faith works only by your acting on the word of God which is your righteousness in Christ Jesus. Believing the word in your heart accounts you righteous but that will not produce any physical blessings in your life. To enjoy the fullness of the blessings and benefits of the righteousness of God, we must act on the word of God we have believed by confessing with our mouth always our righteousness, and all our rights and privileges in Christ Jesus. Which includes who we are in Christ and what we have in Christ Jesus.

The bible says in Romans 10:8-10 (KJV) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
All spiritual blessings are received and acted upon first with the mouth. Your mouth is the hand of your spirit and the gateway of your spirit to receive spiritual things either good or evil depending on what you are saying. Speaking is the first action of faith. Faith is of the spirit. Hence the bible says in Mark 11:23 that you shall have what you say, not you shall have what you believe. I pray for you, may the Lord fill your mouth with his word to speak life at all times in Jesus name. Mark 11:23-24; Romans 10:9-10; Hebrews 13:5-6; Proverbs 18:21; Matthew 12:36-37.

20. THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF FAITH WORKS ONLY BY FAITH:
The righteousness of faith works only by faith and it works from faith to faith. Righteousness of faith confesses and believes in his confession. He believes and confesses what he believes in order to receive or possess the promises and blessings of God in Christ Jesus. The life of the righteous in Christ begins with confessing and believing the word and continues daily in confessing and believing the word from faith to faith. Salvation or the new birth which is the first blessing of the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus is received by confessing and believing or believing and confessing.

The bible says in Romans 1:16-17 (KJV)16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
This is how the righteous lives his life by faith daily from one level of faith to another. You must learn daily to confess the word of God to yourself and to confess the word in all circumstances you face daily. The Christian life begins at Salvation or the new birth by confession of Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and continues with the same faith confession lifestyle. I pray for you, everything that is holding you down they are destroyed in the name of Jesus..-Romans 1:16-17; 10:6-10.

The bottom line of all what we are saying is that God wants you to begin to see yourself in the eyes and light of all that the blood of Jesus has done for you and has made you, and no more in your fleshly natural sin nature so that you can begin to enjoy the fullness of the blessings of the mystery of the blood of Jesus which includes eternal life and freedom from sin, sickness, diseases, poverty, demonic oppression, fear, doubts, anxieties and death.

If you need healing the bible says In Matthew 8:17 that Jesus Himself took all our sicknesses and diseases. Therefore you can receive your healing now by faith in the name of Jesus. Just lay your hand on the affected area and say this prayer. Father God in the name of Jesus I believe that Jesus died for my healing. I believe He took all my sickness and diseases on the cross. If He took them, then I cannot have them. Therefore I resist and I reject every sickness in my body and I confess Jesus today as my healer and I receive my healing now. Thank you Jesus that I am healed. 1Peter 2:24; Ps 107:20.
Now begin to do what you couldn't do before because of the sickness. You are healed in Jesus name.

You can also become a born again child of God. The bible says If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10; John 1:12.

Say this prayer: O God have mercy on me. I come to you today in the name of Jesus. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that He died for me. Let's continue from where we stopped last time on the meaning of Righteousness and all its blessings and benefits to us:.

17. RIGHTEOUSNESS IS LIVING BY FAITH:
The righteous lives by faith. Whatever is not of faith is sin and unrighteousness. Every unbelief is calling God a liar. Therefore living a righteous life is living by faith like a son of God. It is living like a king by faith, living like the temple of God by faith, living like one with all your needs supplied by faith. It is walking and living in divine health by faith. If you allow sickness in your life your not walking in righteousness. Allowing sickness, fear, worry, doubts is the same thing as allowing sin and unrighteousness in your life.

Righteousness is living like an overcomer by faith without fear of the devil, evil spirits or witches, being careful for nothing, with no worries, no anxieties even in the midst challenges. Righteousness is living by faith as one already blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Not as one trying to get or attain these positions or blessings. When you are not living by faith you are not walking in right standing with God. It is called the righteousness of God because it is based on faith in His word not on circumstances. This is the God kind of righteousness. The life of God is a life of faith I pray for you, in the name that is above every other name, in the name of Jesus The Lord shall soften all your dry ground with abundant rain. Romans 1:16-17; 5:17; 14:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; Philippians 3:9; 4:6-7; 1Peter 5:7; 2Timothy 1:7; 1John 5:10. Romans 10:17; Hebrews 11:1,6;

18. THE FEAR OF GOD IS THE BEGINNING OF RIGHTEOUSNESS:
Whoever has the fear of God in his heart and seeks after the righteousness of God, not religion, is accepted and God will visit will him and reveal Himself to him. Through creation and the gospel, God is calling all mankind to fear Him and seek after His righteousness not religion. All of creation reveal God and points all men to Christ the creator of all things. All of creation declare Christ as its makers, owner and redeemer. God is not unjust to ask you to give what you don't have.

If you are not the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus don't waste your time trying to please God with religious piety or morality, that is hypocrisy. Stop trying to look for God or His righteousness, God is the one looking for you and calling you every day through the gospel of Christ to accept His invitation for Him to come into your life. The bible says in Revelation 3:20 (KJV) "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." Proverbs 1:7; 2Chronicles 16:9; Acts 10:35; Romans 1:16-23; 1Peter 2:24; 2Corinthians 5:21; Colossians 1:16; John 1:12;

15. RIGHTEOUSNESS DECLARES YOU JUSTIFIED, HOLY AND WORTHY:
The righteousness of God in Christ is that which declares you justified, holy and worthy to enjoy all the rights and privileges of God in Christ as a son and as a king in this life and that which is to come. To be righteous is not by name or title but a privilege to partake of the divine nature and in the lifestyle of God to rule and reign in life. To live a righteous life is to live by faith in the rights and privileges you have in Christ. To live a righteous life is not all about avoiding sin but more about living and walking in all the heavenly spiritual blessings that you have received in Christ.

When you walk in the righteousness of God in Christ you will be separated from sin. Righteousness is walking in the light. When you walk in the light darkness flees before you, you don't have to go after evil spirits and witches. A righteous life is one focused on walking in the light not one focused on avoiding sin or fighting the devil. Righteousness is the lifestyle of the kingdom of God. A righteous life is living heaven on earth. This is God's desire for the righteous. The bible says Romans 14:17 (KJV) "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost." I pray for you, No matter what the enemy may try you will never fail, you will never fall in the name of Jesus. Ephesians 2:4-6; 4:3-6; Romans 8:28-39; James 4:7; Matthew 6:10; Ephesians 1:3-14; Galatians 2:16.

16. RIGHTEOUSNESS IS A GIFT:
Righteousness is a gift. We are given the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. It is a gift by the faith of Jesus Christ. Righteousness is by the gift of the faith of God in Christ Jesus. Righteousness is a gift because all our rights and privileges are all given to us freely in Christ. By His righteousness He gave us His kind of life called eternal life, He made us sons like Christ, He made us the temple of God, the body of Christ and the bride of Christ. These are positional gifts in which we stand righteous forever in Christ Jesus. We can only live righteous by faith in these positional truth and gifts as we are already righteous by faith in Christ. I pray for you, every curse in your family is canceled in the name of Jesus. 2Corinthians 5:21; Galatians 2:16,20; Romans 5:17-21; 11:29. Ephesians 2:8-9; 4:7,24.

14. YOU ARE RIGHTEOUS TO RULE AND REIGN IN LIFE:
The purpose of your being made righteous is so that you can rule and reign in life and to subdue all the enemies of God which includes the devil, evil spirits, sin, sickness, poverty and death. Our righteousness in Christ Jesus puts us above the devil and all evil spirits and puts them under our feet. Luke 10:19 (KJV) says Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Ephesians 1:22-23.

Righteousness not only stands for our right standing with God but also for all our rights and privileges with God in Christ Jesus. The righteousness of God entitles you, qualifies you and gives you all the rights and privileges of Christ with God so that you can rule and reign in life. The bible says in Ephesians 1:3 (KJV) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

And We have been blessed with all divine blessings so that we can rule and reign in life. Romans 5:17 (KJV) For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.). We are to rule and reign not just in heaven but right now in this life. We are not on our way to heaven we are hear to establish the kingdom of God and the will of God on earth and rule and reign over all creation before Jesus returns. I pray for you that this season God is giving you a blessing that shall freighten you in the mighty name of Jesus. James 4:7; Mark 16:17-18; Romans 5:17; Revelation 5:10.
