Today we continue our study series titled THE BLESSINGS AND BENEFITS OF THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS to enable us to walk in the fullness of the resurrection power.

59. Your resistance against sickness and diseases must be seen as a war, a battle and a fight that is not negotiable and without compromise. You are a soldier of Christ against all sickness and diseases. Put on your whole armour of the word of God always against all sicknesses and diseases never let your guard down. Our fight and power over sickness is by faith not by mental positive thinking, psychology, scientific proof, medication, or by feelings. It is by faith in the word of God alone. That you are feeling sick does not mean you are sick. It is only an attack or an attempt of the devil to put it on you, it is not yours yet do not accept it. As a soldier you have to fight back, resist and reject with the word of God which is the sword of the Spirit.

Not all sickness is healed instantly but mostly gradual. Do not judge your healing by your feelings. Feeling is only sickness, the flesh and the devil fighting your faith and your spirit. Put the word of God first in every thing you do or face. When you feel sick resist it, pray, confess the word of God that promised you healing and believe you are healed first before you go to the hospital or take any medication. Prayers, believing and confessing the word should not be an after thought, after you might have tried your best natural or medical solutions or after you have tried every other thing. God is merciful and compassionate and will do everything to help. But this is the reason most Christians are not healed because the failed to put God first. When a sickness had come and settled in your body you need more faith to get healed.

One other reason most believers are not divinely healed of sicknesses easily is because instead of relying on their faith to be healed they are always relying on the faith and the anointing of the pastor or minister of God to heal them. No where in the ministry of Jesus or the Apostles was any one ever healed either by the faith of Jesus or the faith of the apostles. In the ministry of Jesus three-quarter of those who received healings individualmy the bible says they were healed by their faith not the faith of Jesus. The anointing of Jesus only healed people mostly in mass healings. So when you come for healing, spend more time hearing the word of God to give you the faith to receive your healing. Don't just come waiting to be prayed for to be healed, listen to the word, confess your faith in the word to heal you before you go out to be prayed for. Even when you are prayed for it is your faith that will determine if the prayer or the anointing will wirk for you.

It is easier for the faith and the anointing of the man of God to heal an unbeliever than the born again Christian. This is so because God expects the believer to grow his faith and use his faith. In addition the believer has the Holy Spirit who is the anointing living inside him, he should learn to draw from the anointing within him for all his healing and health cases. When your pastor or a minister lays hand on you or prays for you to be healed, it is to help you release your faith to receive your healing. When they anoint you with oil or put a mantle on you, it is also to give you a point of contact for you to release your faith to receive your healing. So when you don't receive your healing don't blame God or the man of God or think the man of God is not anointed enough or that God did not or does not want to heal you. Healing is a gift from God to His children. You don't have to do anything to receive but to believe and receive your healing. Ephesians 6:10-18; Romans 1:16-17; Mark 5:34; 10:52;

The bottom line of all what we are saying is that God wants you to begin to see yourself in the eyes and light of all that the resurrection of Jesus has done for you and has made you. And no more in your fleshly natural sin nature so that you can begin to enjoy the fullness of the blessings of the mystery of the resurrection power which includes eternal life and freedom from sin, sickness, diseases, poverty, demonic oppression, fear, doubts, anxieties and death.

Just lay your hand on the affected area of your body and say this prayer. Father God in the name of Jesus I believe that Jesus died for my healing. 58. We have been redeemed from all sicknesses and diseases. Do not permit sickness in your life for any reason not matter how genuine and factual the reason may be. It does not matter how long you have been sick and how long you have stood in your faith. Never give up on your faith no matter the situation. We walk by faith not by sight. Faith is not about the physical results but your obedience of faith to the word of God. Every challenges in your life is a test and trial of your faith in the word or promises of God. Your faith is not in the healing but in the word. Not all healings are instant but gradual over time. Stand always, above all stand.

By faith reject every medical report and believe the word of God that you are healed. This does not mean you refuse to see a doctor or rejection of medications. God heals by medical healing and also by divine healing depending on your level of faith. It is important to see a doctor when symptoms persist so that you can know what you are really fighting. We have been bought with a price spirit, soul and body. Jesus owns your spirit, soul and body. So resist and persistently resist do not permit what does not and will not glorify God in your life. No sickness glorifies God. All things works together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose does not mean we should permit sickness in order for it to work for our good. No sickness should be normal, no sickness should be ordinary or little.

Colossians 3:1-4 tells us our life is hid with Christ in God. We are the body of Christ. Whatever cannot happen to Christ should not happen to you being His body. By the power of the resurrection we have one body, one life and one spirit with Christ. Sickness only dwells in a dying body. Jesus rose up bodily not just as a spirit. He rose with a new body for us that is above sin, sickness and diseases. This new body that is quickened or made alive, fortified and strengthened with all heavenly might belongs to us. In Christ Jesus we have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places where there is neither sin nor sickness.

When Jesus prayed and told us to pray thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven that includes sickness and diseases. You and I have a mandate and a responsibility to live a life of heaven here on earth for we have been so blessed. By the resurrection of Jesus we no longer have a natural life but a supernatural life with a supernatural body by faith. 2Corinthians 5:7; James 1:2-4; 1Corinthians 6:19-20; 12:12-13; Ephesians 1:3; 4:3-6; 6:10-18; Isaiah 53:1; Romans 8:28; Matthew 6:9-10;

57. The life of the believer is in his spirit no longer in his body or flesh. The unbelievers' life is in his body or flesh. Therefore as a believer do not allow your flesh or body to control your thinking, desires and decisions. That is living according to the flesh. If you live according to the flesh, sin will come alive in your body and with it sickness and diseases. The presence of sin makes sickness and diseases inevitable. In Christ Jesus we are dead to sin in our body but alive in our spirit unto righteousness. Where righteousness reigns sickness cannot be found there. But remember our righteousness is by faith not by works, it is our new nature in Christ.

When we talk about sin, believers think mostly of the common visible sins of sexual immorality, stealing, lying, idolatry, etc. But sin is far more than that. The greatest sin is unbelief of the word of God. Unbelief is the foundation for all sins. No sin can take place where there is no unbelief. Faith is the only cure for unbelief. Where there is unbelief there is room for sickness and diseases. Unbelief is walking in the flesh, faith is walking in the spirit. Most Christians still suffer sicknesses and diseases simply because they still have unbeliefs in their lives.

When we are led by the Spirit or walk by faith or live by faith our sins are forgiven and the righteousness of faith and the Holy Spirit anointing in us will not allow sickness to dwell in our body. To be led by the Spirit or walk by faith simply means to obey the word of God you know at all times instead of your feelings or what you can see or what the world is saying. To walk in the spirit is to walk in the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. For example if you feel symptoms of sickness do not accept it as normal but resist it and reject it by your confession of the word of God and taking your authority over it and standing on the word no matter what you see or feel.

If you accept it you are have walked in the flesh, in unbelief and in sin. Therefore you have permitted sickness in your body. As a believer the devil cannot put anything on you unless you permit. So if there is any sickness in your life take responsibility of the fact that you permitted it. But if you resist it by your faith confessions you are walking in the spirit, and in righteousness, therefore sickness cannot take hold of you. Healing and divine health is not up to God but up to us. God has done all He needs to do for us in Christ Jesus.

When we walk in the Spirit we live a bloodless life. That is a life and health that is not dependent on our blood and body or health of our blood and body. Where there is no blood and body sickness cannot stay or thrive there. That is why the bible says we are to die to our flesh or crucify our flesh or see our body as dead. Sickness does not live on a dead body. We can live a bloodless life only by faith not by works because we are resurrected being with Christ having only a body of flesh and bone. 2Corinthians 5:21; Galatians 2:20; 5:16,24-25; Romans 3:23-26; 6:3-23; 8:14; Ephesians 4:27; James 4:7; 1Peter 5:8-9; Mark 11:23;

56. The bible says in Leveticus 17:11 that the life of the flesh is in the blood. But by the new life and the new creation in Christ Jesus by faith the life of the believer is no longer in His blood. The life of every believer is now in his spirit. Your spirit is now one with the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Jesus. Therefore in your spirit it is impossible for any sickness to dwell there to afflict the rest of your soul or body. We have the mind of Christ and our body is now only but a house for our spirit and the house of God who is in us while we are here on earth.

The communion bread and wine is given to us to remind us that Jesus crucified His body, died and left the body of sin and sickness in the grave. At the same time He also shed His blood and left it in the grave. And He rose up a new man, with a new life to start a new creation of men who are above sin, sickness and diseases. Jesus rose from the dead with a new body, a bloodless body thus terminating and putting an end to all the power and authority of sicknesses and diseases in our body. Remember also that we are the body of Christ.

By faith every believer now has a resurrected body. A resurrected body is the body of a living spirit. The old body is the body of dead spirits. By shedding His blood Jesus also terminated the power of the flesh over man since the power of the flesh is in the blood. The flesh is the sin nature in man. It is also called the spirit of death at work in the life all dead spirits.

All that Jesus did on the cross, grave and the resurrection He did for us, as a result while He was doing it we were by faith doing it in the spirit with Him. Therefore sickness and diseases have ceased to have any right, power, authority or dominion over you to dwell or manifest in your life in any form or fashion. This does not mean that sickness and diseases will not attack you and seek to take abode in your body, but anytime it comes you must never accept it but resist it. Just as the devil will never stop to tempt you so he will try to inflict sickness on you if you allow him. 1Corinthians 6:17-20; 11:23-32; 12:12-28; 2Corinthians 5:17-18,21; Isaiah 53:4-5; 1Peter 2:24; James 4:7; 1Peter 5:8-9; Luke 24:39; Romans 6:1-14;

55. SICKNESS AND DISEASES ARE ENEMIES OF GOD: Jesus said The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God (Jesus Christ) was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1John 3:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 1Peter 5:8-9

Satan is the father of sin, sin is the mother of sickness, diseases, poverty, oppression and death. All these are the works of the devil which comes only to steal, kill and destroy. Whatever steals, kills and destroys is an enemy of God. They are the opposite of who God is and what He stands for - life and abundant life. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Sickness and disease are of the devil. Whatever is of the devil is an enemy of God. Whatever and whoever is an enemy of God is also your enemy. Therefore do not accommodate or tolerate any sickness no matter how small or ordinary it may be.

Death, poverty, sickness and diseases are blood brothers and enemies of God. Treat every sickness as you will treat an enemy, the devil and every evil. Treat it as you would treat a thief, a killer and a destroyer. No one is happy being sick. Go to hospital and isolation centers and see how many happy people are there.

Resist and refuse every sickness and diseases as you would resist your worst enemy. Resist and fight it in the name of Jesus for by his stripes you were healed.1Peter 2:24. Matthew 8:17. Jesus came and died for your sins to destroy all the powers of the devil, for where there is no sin there can be no sickness. Protect yourself from sickness as you would protect yourself from the devil and all that is evil by taking refuge daily in the name of Jesus. The name of Jesus is a strong tower, whosoever calls upon his name shall be saved, healed and delivered. Proverbs 18:10, Psalm 18:2; 61:3; Romans 10:13; James 4:7; 2Timothy I:10; 1Corinthians 15:25-26

The bottom line of all what we are saying is that God wants you to begin to see yourself in the eyes and light of all that the resurrection of Jesus has done for you and has made you. And no more in your fleshly natural sin nature so that you can begin to enjoy the fullness of the blessings of the mystery of the resurrection power which includes eternal life and freedom from sin, sickness, diseases, poverty, demonic oppression, fear, doubts, anxieties and death.

No Sickness is Normal: Galatians 3:13-14 (KJV) Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Sickness is not normal and it is not the normal part of our life .You should accept no natural, medical, scientific or superstitious or religious reasons for any sickness. It does not matter what you have done that brought the sickness never accept a sickness as normal. If you have sinned ask God for forgiveness and demand your healing immediately-James 5:14-16. The blood of Jesus has offered complete redemption from all curses and all causes of sickness and diseases. No sickness is normal. Even if the sickness is so rampant and common that everyone is having it do not accept it. Reject it as many times as it comes and say I cannot or I can never have it because by the power of resurrection you are now a new creature in Christ, you are now the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus there is no sickness in righteousness, by the stripes of Jesus you were healed, if you were healed then you are healed now, and in Matthew 8:17 Jesus took all your sicknesses and diseases and if He took them you cannot have them. In the new testament all our fighting is with our mouth - the word of God in our mouth.

It does not matter how correct or accurate the report of the doctor, never accept it. But that does not mean we should not consult doctors or go to hospital. Sometimes we need the medical report to know what we are facing and fighting. Divine healing can also take place through medical processes such as taking drugs, surgery, operations, etc. So do not undermine or reject medical healing but while going through medical process put your faith and confession on the word of God. Even if it is something heriditary don't accept it for you or your children because you are a new creature in Christ. In your new nature which is divine there is no accommodation or justification for any sickness. Sickness is not part of normal life of man on earth or the life to come. Gen 1:26- Sickness is not the image and likeness of God. Sickness is not life. The devil brought sickness through sin. Thank God Jesus had become sin for us.

Most times what we accept as normal part of our lives are the things that open the door and foundation for sickness in our lives. Such as fear, doubt, worry, anxiety, unforgiveness, bitterness, rebellion, complaining, murmuring and other fleshly sins or works of the flesh.Galatians 5:19-21. If you allow any of these sins they will constantly open the door of sickness in your life. As healing comes from inside out so also sickness comes from inside out. It is what you accept inside you that will determine what happens to your physical body. 2Corinthians 5:17,21; 1Peter 2:24; Philippians 4:6-8; Ephesians 6:17; 2Kings 5:27; Genesis 49:2-7;

53. Sickness and disease is not the will of God and can never be the will of God for anyone. Luke 4:18 (KJV) The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
3John 1:2 (KJV) Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. No matter the person's past or present, no matter the sins past or present, no matter the sins of the parents, people or generational curse, sickness is never the will of God for any one. According to Genesis 8:22 and Galatians 6:7-9 most sickness and diseases is man reaping what he has sown not God punishing them. Even when you are reaping what you have sown the love, mercy and compassion of still wants to heal you as we see in many cases in the ministry of Jesus.

Even though the person was born in that state or condition, it is not the will of God for the person to be born that way. John 9:1-3 (KJVAnd as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. 2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? 3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. No matter a person's level of unbelief or doubt or rejection of God or Christ or rejection of divine healing, it is never the will of God for any man to be sick. In Luke 4:24-28-that only Naaman was healed was not the perfect will of God.

By the resurrection of Jesus God wants to heal all who come to Him in faith. If you want to know the will of God concerning sickness see the ministry of Jesus, the bible says He went about healing ALL that were oppressed by the devil. Jesus is the resurrection and the life not sickness or death. Jesus rose from the dead to give us power over sickness and death so that we can enjoy abundant life. Never wish anyone to be sick, never wish any sickness on anyone. Never reject or refuse to pray for the healing of anyone except God says so.

Never judge the will of God for anyone by the sickness in his body. John 5:14 does not mean that if he sins God will punish him with sickness but that he will open the door for a worse sickness. God does not put sickness on people to teach them a lesson or for them to learn obedience or to make them humble or pius. Sickness is not a part of the suffering, afflictions and tribulations we have to suffer as Christians. Phillipians1:29, 2Corinthians 11:22-33, 12:7-10 tells us the kind of afflictions permitted in the life of a Christian. Jesus even healed on the Sabbath day to prove that nothing should stand on the way of God's desire to heal. Sickness is only and always the will of the devil. Healing and health is only and always the will and desire of God for you. John 5:6 shows us that it is God that is waiting for us to receive our healing and not man waiting for God. Acts 10:38; Mark 1:40-42; Genesis 8:20-22, 49:2-7, 2Kings 5:27; Luke 13:10-17; John 5:1-10; Matthew 4:23-25;

52. SICKNESS IS A THIEF, A KILLER AND A DESTROYER: John 10:10 (KJV) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. 3 In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. 4 For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. 5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
Sickness is of the devil and carries with it the nature and character of the devil which is to steal, kill and destroy. Wellness is wealth. Health is prosperity. Sickness comes to steal, kill and destroy lives spiritually, financially, materially, mentally, and physically. Bringing with it pain, sorrow, poverty, bondage & reproach. Sickness steals your life, money, joy, peace, hope, future, etc. From both you and all your family and friends. It also steals kills and destroy your time and that of your family.

Sometimes after stealing all these the person still dies. as was the case of Lazaus in John 11. When a man is sick nothing matters anymore to him but his wellness. Hence he will shut down everything and even sell all he has to get well. But thank God divine healing and divine health is free because of the resurrection of Jesus. You don't have to go through all these if you believe and receive the word of God. John 4:46-54; 5:1-6; 9:1-3; Mark 2:3-5; 5:1-15,25-34; 9:14-25; 10:46-52; 17:11-19; Luke 13:10-17; 3John 2;

The resurrection power has given us all power and authority over the devil therefore treat every sickness as you would treat a thief and a killer. Resist and fight it. Protect yourself from sickness as you would protect yourself from thieves and killers, taking every precautions daily by walking in the blessings of the resurrection. By the power of the resurrection you are a new man with a new life that is above sickness and diseases. -Eph 6:10-18. Sickness is an invisible enemy so you need invisible spiritual weapons to fight and protect yourself and your family. Protect yourself consciously daily with the word of God as your shield from all sicknesses. 1Peter 2:24; Matthew 8:17; Psalm 107:20; Isaiah 53:4-5; Exodus15:26; 23:25-26;

51. Sickness is a curse. The curse of the law of sin and death is sickness, poverty and untimely death. When man sinned God pronounced a curse on man and all creation on earth. A curse is a spiritual power called to enforce failure, poverty, death and destruction. It is the direct opposite of blessing. No sickness comes to bless you or teach you a lesson. Every sickness no matter how small wants you dead. Never under estimate any sickness no matter how common and no matter how often it comes and goes. It is in a gradual and subtle mission to steal, kill and destroy you. Treat every sickness as a curse, reject it, resist it, rebuke it because by the power of resurrection of Jesus bible says in Galatians 3:13-14 (KJV) Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

By His death Jesus became curse for us and by His resurrection Jesus has poured out divine blessings upon us all. Therefore whenever sickness comes begin to confess and speak blessings of the blood and the resurrection of Jesus over your life. Everything is bound to respond to what you say consistently over a period of time. Thank God we have been redeemed from every curse in Christ Jesus through His resurrection from the kingdom of the dead. The kingdom of the dead is the kingdom of the cursed, darkness, sin, sickness, diseases, poverty and death.

By the resurrection of Jesus we have been raised from the curse of the kingdom of darkness to the blessings of the kingdom of heaven. Every Christian now carries heavenly blessings which are far above all earthly challenges. A curse can only be removed or reversed by a blessing. As curses are spoken in order to take effect so also you must speak blessings upon your life for it to take effect. Don't wait for a man of God or anyone to do it for you. In Luke 10:19 we trample upon snakes and scorpions and all the powers of the enemy not with our feet but with our mouth speaking blessings over every curse in our lives and family. You are a new creature in Christ so even generational curse or sickness has no power over you. But it will not work automatically you have to enforce it in your life and family by speaking blessings over you and your family. 50. The bible says in 1Peter 2:24 that by his (Jesus) stripes (wounds) we were healed. The redemptive plan of God for us in Christ was to destroy sickness through the body of Jesus. Jesus being born without sin and having no sin there was no other way God could make Him sick on our behalf. Hence on His way to the cross Jesus was beaten with many stripes and wounded all over His body. By this wounds He became not only sick for us but He became sickness on our behalf taking on Himself every sickness that was and is and is to come to man in this life.

With our sicknesses and diseases on Him, Jesus died on the cross. No matter how powerful a sickness its power and purpose terminates when the person dies. More so every sickness dies with the person when the sick person dies. Hence when Jesus died with all our sicknesses and diseases He terminated the power of sickness over all men. All the sickness we face today is the devil trying to find out if we know our rights and privileges in Christ. Jesus did not take away sin, sickness and diseases from the devil but He destroyed only its power and authority over man which includes you.

By the resurrection of Jesus sickness has no justifiable reason to remain in your body or life because Jesus had taken them all and destroyed them all at His death on your behalf. As a result, every sickness today is a lie of the devil upon you. By the power in the resurrected name of Jesus no sickness must be permitted in your body. Every sickness comes first with symptoms or pains. Every symptoms is the sickness seeking permission to come in to your body after Jesus had destroyed them on your behalf. If you do nothing or only complain or see it as normal you have accepted his invitation into your body and it will now become no more symptoms but full blown sickness and diseases. But remember the bible says in Matthew 8:17 (KJV) "...... Himself (Jesus) took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses." 49. Almost every sickness and diseases of man is in the human body. Even when it starts in the spirit or mind it always ends up in the body because the body is what determines how long a man lives here on earth. The strength of the human body are the organs but the strength of the organs is the blood. The state of the blood determines the health of the organs and the body in general. All sicknesses and diseases are rooted and circulated in the blood which is the life of the flesh. The life of the flesh is in the blood. The devil knows that the easiest way to kill a man is to attack and destroy his blood and his body organs.

Every sin begins in the mind but ultimately is targeted at the body of man from the lusts of the flesh, the lusts of the eyes and the pride of life. All sins are called the works of the flesh. Galatians 5:19-21 (KJV) "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."

Every sin is aimed at weakening the strength of the human body spiritually and naturally. Naturally every sin you commit weakens your immune systems' ability to resist sicknesses and diseases. The worst of such sin is sexual immorality, fornication and adultery which are sins that are directly against your body. Every sin weakens your ability to resist death and brings you more closer to death daily. The human body is spiritually and naturally created to fight sickness and heal itself but as we sin the body gradually loses this power and authority over sickness and diseases. No doctor or medicine has the power to heal they only provide a conducive environment for the body to heal itself through the creative power of God given to it from the creation of man. 48. THERE IS SICKNESS BECAUSE THERE IS DEATH: When man sinned he invited death into his life. All human beings from Adam are born spiritually dead. To be spiritually dead is to be separated from God who is the Father of spirit and life. Where there is life there is no sickness. Sickness and diseases is a result of man's separation from the life of God. Sickness and disease is the devil enforcing the law of sin and death and the wages of sin which is death.

When Adam sinned he and all men died spiritually awaiting physical death. Because man is spiritually dead, the devil wants him to die physically also. When man sinned the devil thought man would have died spiritually, physically and eternally at the same time. But when he found out that God in His wisdom delayed and did not immediately enforce the law of sin and death, the devil had to resort to other means of enforcing at least physical death. When a sinner dies physically he is doomed eternally.

God in His love, mercy and eternal plan differed and prevented immediate physical death of man because He had a plan of redemption. Instead God allowed a gradual physical death through the degeneration of the human body. Sicknesses is a faster and quicker deterioration of the human body instead of the natural degeneration with time and age. Sickness is one of the quickest ways the devil wants to enforce total death of man without redemption and repentance.

To permit sickness and diseases in your life is to permit death. Sickness is a gradual or installmental payment of the wages of sin which is death. Sickness is a gradual but quicker way of destroying the human body. The devil does not have the authority to terminate any man's life on earth but he wants to achieve that by the destruction of the human body through sickness and diseases. Your body is your house on earth, once the body dies life on earth is terminated.

Knowing that the body of man is what keeps and sustains everyman here on earth, the devil through sickness is seeking ways to destroy the body of man. Also, knowing that the life of the flesh or body is in the blood, the devil ensures that all sicknesses and diseases are rooted in the blood in order to take away the life of man as quickly as possible before he repents and receives forgiveness from God knowing that God is loving and merciful towards man. 46. The third major blessings and benefits of the resurrection of Jesus is the POWER AND VICTORY it has given us OVER SICKNESSES AND DISEASES.

Sickness and diseases is simply an attempt by the devil to steal, kill and destroy the body and life of man so that he can die untimely or as quickly as possible. Sickness and diseases is an enforcement of the law of sin and death and the curse of the law on all flesh. Sickness and diseases is of the devil and comes from the devil always. No sickness or disease comes from from God. God is never the author of any sickness no matter the circumstances. Sickness does not come to give life but to steal, kill and destroy lives. Sickness is not the way, the truth and life of God. Sickness is the will if the devil and never the will of God for you. God cannot give what He does not have. There is no sickness in God or with God and there is no sickness in heaven where God dwells. So never accept sickness as normal or the way of life. Sickness is one of the enemies whose power and authority over man was destroyed at the resurrection of Jesus. John 10:10; 14:6; 2Timothy 1:10;

47. THE ORIGIN OF SICKNESS: Sin is the origin of all sicknesses and diseases. The sin of Adam is the origin of all sicknesses and diseases. Satan is the Father of sin. Sin is the mother of sickness. Every sickness, diseases, plague, oppression is a result of sin directly or indirectly, by commission or omission. Sickness attacks all men because of the sin nature we all inherited from Adam. When Adam sinned he made Satan the lord and god of this world. Sickness and diseases is part of the government of the devil in this world.

But thank God by the power of the resurrection in Christ Jesus we have been translated from Satan's kingdom into God's kingdom where there's no sickness Also in Christ Jesus we have been redeemed from all sickness and diseases. Jesus defeated the devil, sin sickness and diseases by His resurrection and has given us authority over them to defeat them also in our lives. The resurrection of Jesus is our resurrection from the dominion of the devil, sin, sickness and diseases. 45. Man is no longer in his sins. As a result of what Christ did by His death and resurrection on behalf all mankind, God is no longer holding the sins of men against them. All men are by Christ Jesus potentially reconciled unto God. The bible says in 2Corinthians 5:19 (KJV) "To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation." It was God personally in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not counting up and holding against men their trespasses but cancelling them, because of the blood of Jesus. No one can go to hell now because of his sins but because by choice he rejected Christ and all that Christ did for him and his sins.

By the power of the resurrection you are an overcomer of the devil, sins and the world. You can overcome all challenges in your life from sin, sickness, poverty, demonic oppression, sinful habits, etc. The Holy Spirit in the believer when you become born again will help to quicken and make your mortal body to live victoriously above sin. With the Holy Spirit in us we can walk and live in the Spirit. When you walk in the spirit you will not fulfil the lust of the flesh. The overcomer life is the heritage of every believer. Sin no longer has the final say in your life, you have the final say.

By the victory of the resurrection over sin, the law of sin and death has been abolished and all men are free from the law of sin and death. With the reign of sin over man destroyed forever, the law of sin and death death has become invalid, null and void. A sinner is no longer doomed unto death but now has forgiveness of his sins and hope in Christ Jesus if he accepts Him as his Lord and Saviour.

With the removal of the barrier of sin, there's now reconciliation and peace between God and man. Man is no longer an enemy of God that is why we are preaching the gospel of this peace to all men to accept it so that they will not be condemned with the devil. The devil is doomed for there is no peace and reconciliation between him and God, as a result he wants to carry as many people as possible with Him to eternal damnation. 44. As a result of Jesus victory over sin at the resurrection we are no longer slaves, servants or children of sin but sons and servants of righteousness. For when Jesus died on the cross we died with Him by faith. When we died with Him our body and life of sin or sin nature was destroyed. Therefore the power of our body or flesh over our spirit and our mind was destroyed. We are no longer servants to our body, its feelings, senses and lusts. But we have become servants of our spirit the new life of righteousness and holiness. Sin, the sin nature and our body is no longer king or lord over our lives and decisions.

Sin no longer rules or have dominion over our lives because we are no longer sinners who need to obey a set of laws and rules in a bid to please God or be righteous before God. But we are now sons of righteousness, by the free gift of grace born of righteousness, into righteousness and by nature the righteousness of God. We are no longer trying to reach God we are now one with God, living together in the same body, the house and sharing the same life with Him. Our only responsibility now is to believe we are all these by faith and live our lives accordingly by faith. Hence the bible says in Romans 1:17 that it is from faith to faith for the just shall live only by faith.

Before the resurrection sin was not a matter of choice but a matter of lifestyle of the sinner by nature. A slave or servant has no will or choice over his master. After the resurrection of Jesus sin is now a matter of choice because it no longer has dominion over us. Our lifestyle is now righteousness unto holiness. As the sin nature gave man the power to sin with no choice, so also the new life of righteousness in us has given us power to live unto holiness. The devil, sin and death have lost its control and power over man because of the resurrection. The chains and bondage of sin has been broken. Satan the devil no longer has control of our lives. Romans 3:19-28; 5:12-25; 6:3-23; 8:1-13; Colossians 3:1-4; John 1:29;

The bottom line of all what we are saying is that God wants you to begin to see yourself in the eyes and light of all that the resurrection of Jesus has done for you and has made you. And no more in your fleshly natural sin nature so that you can begin to enjoy the fullness of the blessings of the mystery of the resurrection power which includes eternal life and freedom from sin, sickness, diseases, poverty, demonic oppression, fear, doubts, anxieties and death.

43. Now we see that behind all the troubles and word of man is sin. It was the devil through sin that killed man, separated him from God, took man away from the abundance of the Garden of Eden and destroyed him. The bible says in Romans 6:23 (KJV) "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Jesus came to pay the price of sin for all. Since it was through the sin and disobedience of one man Adam that all mankind became sinners, all can also become righteous through the obedience and righteousness of one man Jesus Christ.

The life of the flesh or the life of man is in the blood. The shedding of his blood is equal to the sacrifice or shedding of his life. His death is equal to paying for His sins for the wages or price of sin is the death of the sinner. Without the shedding of blood sin cannot be forgiven or paid for. The blood of a sinner is worthless because he is a child of sin. You cannot use sin to pay for freedom from sin. If the offence of one man can make all men sinners then the obedience of one man can also pay the full price of sin for all men. Jesus the righteous alone was qualified to be a perfect sacrifice for the sin of all. On the cross He became sin for us taking on Him all the sin nature, all the sins of omission and all the sins of commission of man. Having taken on our sins and became sin on our behalf we automatically received forgiveness and righteousness.

By the death and resurrection of Jesus He paid the full price of sin and silenced the power and voice of sin forever. He fulfilled the law. Standing in the position as the last Adam He paid in full the price of sins of men past, present and future. He abolished every law that encouraged sin. By the resurrection Jesus conquered sin and destroyed all its power and dominion over man kind. By His resurrection He set aside the law of sin and death and replaced it with grace and truth.

Jesus carried all our sins to the cross laid them to rest at the grave. He left all sin in the grave and rose again as the new man or the new Adam with a new mandate for a new life and a new creation. By His resurrection Jesus terminated the old sin life and has replaced it with the life of righteousness. The resurrection of Jesus is our resurrection from sin. As a result we received the gift of righteousness to live a holy, righteous and sanctified lived unto God. We not received the gift of righteousness but we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. John 10:10; Genesis 3:1-24; Romans 3:23-24; 5:12-21; 6:3-14 1Corinthians 15:21-22; 2Corinthians 5:21;

42. Sin Unto Death is a sin unto eternal death. Only ministers of the gospel and spiritually matured believers can commit the sin unto death. They can commit it not by committing any sin of the flesh but by spiritual sin of rejection of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour willfully. Willfully, not under compulsion, or pressure or afflictions but a matter of freewill choice knowing the implications. This is explained in Hebrews 6:4-6 (KJV)4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

According to Hebrews 6:4-6 the enlightened are those who have received the light which is Jesus the light of the world. The heavenly gift is Christ, for God so loved the world that he gave Jesus His only begotten son. Partakers of the Holy Ghost are those filled the with the Spirit and speaking in tongues. Those who have tasted the good word of God are they who have received the spirit of knowledge, revelation and understanding of the word of God to the point that they are even teachers and preachers of it. Powers of the world to come are those who have manifested the gifts of the Spirit and power with signs and wonders.

You can see by the mercy of God the long criteria needed for a believer to sin unto death. So it is not for many but for a very few. You became a believer by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour by faith. You can only lose your salvation by same route of rejection of Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Living a righteous life did not make you a believer so living an unrighteous life cannot make you lose your salvation unto eternal death. Sinful unrighteous life can only lead to untimely physical death of the believer not eternal death. I believe Adam committed the sin unto death because the bible says Adam was not deceived that he sinned willfully.

These four types of sin - The Sin Nature, Sins of Omission, Sins of Commission and Sin Unto Death are what made every man a sinner needing redemption and salvation. It is sin not the devil that is responsibility for all the woes and troubles of mankind. The devil only uses sin. Except the sin unto death all sin is the works of the flesh not the works of the devil. Don't blame the devil, anyone or anything for any sin in your life. You must take personal responsibility for all your sins if you are to be victorious over sin.

In the first place if you don't take personal responsibility for your sins you will not be willing to accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour to take away your sin nature; you will refuse to confess your sins and seek forgiveness. Any sin you don't take responsibility for will persist in your life and will lead to other sins. One of the main character of sin is that one sin will always cause you to commit other sins consciously or unconsciously.

If you are an unbeliever the first things you must do is to receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour to give you the resurrection power to overcome the power of sin. Thereafter deal with every sin in your life immediately by your confession and commitment to forsake them. Do not procastinate to confess your sins to God and ask for forgiveness. The longer you wait the more room you give for other sins. Also the longer you wait the more harm you do to your conscience to accommodate more sins and even worse ones. 1John 1:7-10; John 1:1-9,14; 3:19-21; 8:12; 9:5; Luke 1:79; 2:32; Acts 1:8; 2:1-4; 1Corinthians 12:3-11

41. Sin Unto Death is a sin committed only in your spirit from your spirit and by your spirit. It is a sin that has no redemption and cannot be forgiven. It is the unforgivable sin. It is unforgivable because it is a sin of the rejection of the blood of Jesus. Sin can only be forgiven through the blood of Jesus. If you reject the blood of Jesus no prayer, no confession, no works, no holiness or sacrifice can forgive your sins. To reject the blood of Jesus is to deny His resurrection. Without the blood washing of sins there can be no resurrection. To reject the blood of Jesus is a rejection and a denial of the birth, ministry, propitiatory and atoning death of Jesus. Sin Unto Death is a trampling of the grace of God, making yourself a equal to a swine.

Sin Unto Death is sin based on the full knowledge of the spiritual consequences of what you have done. Sin unto death is to sin willfully knowing the truth. Sin unto death can only be committed by three categories of persons - angels, matured christians and unbelievers who died without Christ. According to Isaiah 14:12-14 Lucifer and the fallen angels are believed to have committed this sin hence there was no redemption plan of God for them. Hell was created for sin unto death as a place for Lucifer and the fallen angels.

For the unbeliever it is a sin against the obvious testimony of the Holy Spirit about salvation in Christ Jesus alone. Those who believe in God, salvation, eternal life and heaven yet insist that they can get there outside of Christ are victims of this sin. Religious leaders like the Pharisees who knew the truth about Christ but rejected him for political, traditional and religious reasons can also be victims of this sin. Matthew 7:6; Jeremiah 7:15-16; 2Corinthians 6:1; Galatians 2:20-21

40. SIN UNTO DEATH: The fourth and final type of sin which the resurrection of Jesus have us victory and power over is the called Sin Unto Death.

While the first three types of sin are mostly the works of the flesh, Sin unto death is a spiritual sin. Spiritual sins are more grievous than sins of the flesh and the mind. God will judge a believer especially a more matured believer such as a minister quicker on spiritual sins than on sins of the flesh and the mind. Spiritual sins are of two types - sins of evil motives and sin unto death. Sins of evil motives are sins that if God allows it to continue in the life of a believer will lead him to condemnation and sin unto death. An example of such sin is found in 1Corinthians 5:1-5 where the believer was delivered to Satan for untimely death so that it will not lead him to sin unto death. Which means God judges him before time and takes him home to heaven so that he will not be led into sin unto death which is hell.

Spiritual sin of evil motives account for most untimely or premature deaths among ministers of the gospel. Any minister of God who dies before his 70th Birthday is most likely because of sin of evil motives. Such evil motives includes disobedience to divine instructions over a given period of time. Other believers can suffer this also if they persist in living unrighteousnessly over a long period of time. Thank God for the resurrection power of Jesus that has abounded this grace to us. If not such believers or ministers would have ended up in hell. 1Timothy 1:19-20

39. Another provision God has made to deal with our sins of omission and commission is the partaking of the communion. As believers we must learn to partake of the communion with knowledge and understanding of what we are doing, what it stands for and what it is supposed to do in our lives. If we fail to take the communion based on this understanding our sins will not be forgiven and we heap condemnation and judgement upon ourselves. Such condemnation and judgement opens the door for the enemy in our lives to afflict us. Instead of the communion becoming a blessing it becomes a source of affliction.

The bible admonishes us in 1Corinthians 11:27-32 (KJV) Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

The communion is our confession of our victory over the sin nature, sins of omission and sins of commission. The communion is a celebration of our covenant relationship with God through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. An unbeliever or sinner is not permitted to partake because He is not yet in a covenant relationship with God. But every believer is permitted and supposed to partake of the communion at all times as a type of renewal of the covenant with God in Christ Jesus.

Every believer is worthy to partake of the communion but he must not take it as one who is not worthy or unworthily. He must not take it just as one eating ordinary bread and wine but as one taking the body and the blood of Jesus with full understanding of what they stand for in his life and what it does and and is doing in his life which includes forgiveness of sins, healing, deliverance, long life and unity of the body of Christ. When we take without this understanding we are taking it unworthily not knowing what the communion is worth in our lives.

Such practice will change the communion from being a blessing to you resulting in sicknesses, diseases, poverty, demonic oppressions, spiritual weakness, premature and untimely death among believers. You cannot be partaking of the communion together as a church and there is unforgiveness and divisions among you which you are doing nothing to put to an end. Communion is our celebration of our oneness and unity in Christ. If there divisions and unforgiveness you are mocking the communion table and it will judge and condemn you. 2Corinthians 5:17; 1Corinthians 1:10-13; 3:1-6,16-17; 11:17-34;

38. Only believers can commit sins of commission. The provision for confession of sin in 1John 1:9 is a covenant provision and a covenant responsibility. Confession of sins is only for those who already have a covenant relationship with God like Israel in the old testament and the Church in the new testament. There is no where in the scriptures where God demanded confession of sin from any gentile or unbeliever. When you have a covenant relationship with God your cease to be called a sinner.

God has no covenant or relationship with a sinner. Every covenant with God makes you one with Him and God is not and cannot be one with a sinner. To be one with a sinner is to make God a sinner. Which is impossible. What God demands from every sinner is first the confession of a desire for a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ as given in Romans 10:9-10. Being now in a relationship with Him, when you sin He has made provision for your cleansing through your confession of your sins to Him for He knows we are not yet perfect as He is. The blood of Jesus that cleanses sins is the blood of the new covenant, so it is available only for those in covenant relationship with God. Genesis 12:2-3; 17:1-14; Ephesians 2:1-3,11-12; 1Corinthians 11:23-32; Galatians 3:6-29;

37. We overcome the devil by resisting him by faith in the name of Jesus, so also we are to resist sin in our lives because the devil is the father of sin. Sin is a spiritual problem, so don't avoid sin for natural, traditional or scientific reasons. Avoid sin because God and the bible says so, if not when culture, tradition or science compromises on it you will do so as well. Every other things can change but God and His word can never change.

More so avoiding sin because of scientific and other reasons is not of faith and whatever is not of faith is sin. Many people are caught up in sexual immorality because of traditional and scientific reasons. Scientifically homosexuality or any sexual immorality may be harmless and psychologically beneficial but scripturally it is sin, evil, harmful and destructive, same with love of money, hatred, adultery, envy, etc.

Remember, the commonest sins are not the ones people think but unbelief, fear, worry, anxiety, doubt, pride, disobedience, etc. These are the foundational sins that lead to other sins. You must be sensitive to these sins and include them always in your confessions for forgiveness. James 4:7; Ephesians 4:27; 1Corinthians 6:18; 10:14; 1Timothy 6:10-11; 2Timothy 2:22;

36. Also never blame any one or the devil for any sin in your life always take responsibility for all sins in your life. No sin is of the devil but the works of the flesh. If you cannot take responsibility for any sins you cannot acknowledge that you are a sinner needing salvation and you cannot seek forgiveness through confession of your sins from your heart. Only confession from the heart is forgiven. If you cannot take responsibility for any sin in your life you cannot over come it.

Blaming the devil or other people for any sin in your life is a sign of an unforgiving heart. Blaming the devil or any one for your sin is the reason for the increase and perpetuity of sins in the world. And it is the reason for many evil and wrong prayers by believers calling on the Holy Ghost power to kill and destroy people and even the devil.

There is no difference between sin and failure. Every failure is as a result of sin - the sin nature, sin of ignorance or sin of commission. Whichever way, take responsibility and confess your sins. God is never responsible for any failure. Faith in the resurrection power of Jesus is the key to victory and success even in the midst of obvious sins and failure. Jesus rose from the dead to give us power in His name to obtain victory in life. At the name of Jesus and faith in that name guarantees victory over all challenges in heaven and on earth.

The bible says in Philippians 2:8-11 (KJV) "And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 35. Matthew 18:21-22 also applies in our relationship with our neighbours. There is no limit to how many times you are to forgive your neighbour who ask for forgiveness or who need forgiveness. In fact you do not have to wait for your neighbour to ask for forgiveness before you choose to forgive. The blood of Jesus and the resurrection of Jesus were ours by grace without our asking and demanding for them but God knew we needed them. While we were yet sinners Christ died for our sins and forgave our sins and rose from the dead to give us victory over sin before we knew God.

Likewise we are to forgive our neighbours before and after they have committed sins against us without waiting for them to ask for it. The blood of Jesus takes care of not just our past and present sins but also takes care of our future sins before we commit them. So we ought to have an attitude of forgiveness towards our neighbours in advance before they ever commit any sins against us. By the blood and the resurrection of Jesus we have the power and ability of God to walk in love like God. When we got born again God by the Holy Ghost poured out His love abundantly in our hearts.

Remember that sometimes one may offend you without knowing they have. In such case we are to tell them the effect of what they have done and forgive them or we can overlook their sins and forgive them because they do not know what they are doing. By this grace we have power to forgive our neighbours of their sins of omission and sins of commission towards us. There are no unforgivable sins when it comes to our relationship with our neighbours. Every sin you commit against your neighbour are all forgivable and every sin your neighbour commits against you are all forgivable.

Never accept the lie that any sin of your neighbour is unforgivable. It is a lie of the devil to hinder you from receiving forgiveness from God. Unforgiveness is the root cause of many tragedies of life from ordinary sicknesses, to reoccurring sicknesses and terminal sicknesses and diseases, failures, disappointment, premature and untimely death. Most demonic oppressions are rooted to unforgiveness. Those who suffer frequent failures at the point of success should check unforgiveness in their lives. As a result of the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus and the faithfulness of God because of the resurrection of Jesus once you have confessed and asked for mercy believe that you have been forgiven and cleansed. Do not confess it again, as that will be unbelief and doubt. You don't have to feel forgiven to believe God has forgiven you. Believe always that God is faithful to His word. And do not allow the devil to put guilt and condemnation in your heart. Always resist the devil reminding you of your past sins.

Whatever challenges you are going through do not allow the devil to link it to any of your past sins. After you have confessed your sins know for sure that God has forgiven and forgotten them. But you must also forgive yourself and forget it. Matthew 18:21-22 tells us there is no limit to forgiveness as long as you confess and ask for forgiveness. God is always willing to forgive. God is not a man so never imagine he is tired of your confession and forgiveness. God only withholds forgiveness when we withhold forgiveness of our fellow man who sinned against us.

Another aspect of sins of commission is forgiving others who have sinned against you. If you don't forgive others who sin against you, God will not forgive you of your sins against him, even if you confess and ask for mercy. We are only forgiven according to the measure we forgive others who sinned against us. You cannot get anything from God that you can not give out to others. God cannot give you what you cannot give others who need them.

God is love and love is a giver. There is nothing God has that he has not given to you in Christ. The love of God is in us to make us to be givers like God. The more you give to others what God has given you the more you get. If you are stingy financially you will be stingy in almost every other thing. If you are stingy financially you are likely to have unforgiving spirit. Another means of measure is salvation and soul winning. If after God has saved you you are less interested in the salvation of others you are likely to have an unforgiving heart except you are ignorant of your responsibility.Hebrews 8:12; 2Peter 1:9; Matthew 6:12,14-15; Mark 11:25-26; 16:15-20; 1Corinthians 13:4-7; 2Corinthians 9:6-8; Galatians 6:8; Ephesians 1:3; 3:20; Romans 5:5;

You cannot lie successfully without stealing something. Stealing is the first reason and purpose of every lie. You always lie in order to get what does not belong to you or what you do not deserve. In Genesis 3 we see this in the strategy of the devil on Adam and Eve. He told them a lie, stole their inheritance, killed and destroyed them and all their descendants. Every time you sin, lie and steal, you are killing or destroying something. You are either destroying yourself or you are destroying your relationship with God, or you are destroying someone's life or your relationship with them.

If we understand that every sin makes you a liar, a thief, a killer and a destroyer, you will do everything to avoid sin and when you commit them you will hastily confess and seek repentance. The resurrection of Jesus has given us the authority and liberty to overcome sin. In the old testament they had to face the east always to pray and they had to offer sin offering as often as possible and the atonement once a year to have their sins covered. But by the resurrection we approach God anytime and anywhere in the name of Jesus to receive forgiveness of our sins. John 8:44; 10:10; 1John 5:4; 1Timothy 2:8; 1Thessalonians 5:17;

33. When we sin it is not God or the Holy Spirit that condemns us it is our spirit and conscience. Your spirit through your conscience is always your first judge. The bible says in 1John 3:20-21 (KJV) "For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. 21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.". Whenever your conscience or your spirit judges and condemns you for sin don't resist, don't try to argue or justify your reason for doing it, acknowledge you are wrong and ask for forgiveness immediately. Never think that it is God or Holy Spirit that is condemning you. God or the Holy Spirit can never condemn you because of what Jesus did for us on the cross and the victory of His resurrection.

The bible says in Romans 8:1-2 that there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made us free from the law of sin and death. Don't allow the devil to lie to you that it is God that is condemning you. Our spirit alone condemns us not unto divine rejection but to urge us to urgently repent, confess and seek forgiveness. So that normal fellowship can be restored between your spirit and the Holy Spirit. Sin separate us from God. It is not God that separates from sinners. Proverbs 4:20-24; Ephesians 4:26-27,30; 1Thessalonians 5:19; Matthew 9:10-13; Luke 19:10;

The bottom line of all what we are saying is that God wants you to begin to see yourself in the eyes and light of all that the resurrection of Jesus has done for you and has made you. And no more in your fleshly natural sin nature so that you can begin to enjoy the fullness of the blessings of the mystery of the resurrection power which includes eternal life and freedom from sin, sickness, diseases, poverty, demonic oppression, fear, doubts, anxieties and death.

31. Persistence in sins of commission will grieve the Holy Spirit in you and will not allow Him to fulfill His role in your life to lead, teach, guide and comfort you. Persistence in sins of commission is undermining your conscience, your spirit and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is grieved because you you have no value for His presence in your life, neither do you have any regard for His work, guidance and counsel.

Persistence in sins of commission will also quench the fire, the anointing or the power of God in the life of a person especially ministers of God. It takes away your boldness and confidence before God and before the devil. It also diminishes the grace of God in your life as well as your faith to believe God for any thing or even answered prayers. Persistence in sins of commission will gradually increase the place of doubt in your life decisions. Sins of commission are committed mostly when we allow our mind the voice of reason to over ride the voice of the obedience to the word of God from our spirit.

To overcome sins of commission, once you commit them confess immediately and ask God for forgiveness, don't delay or wait till your prayer time or when you get to church or when you confess it to your pastor and he prays for you. Also learn to form the habit of asking for mercy and forgiveness at all times of prayer. This will keep your heart and conscience tender, teachable and correctable. Feeding daily and meditating on the word of God will help you become teachable, bendable and correctable. Pride is a great hindrance to overcoming sin. Pride justifies every sin. The proud are unteachable and unbendable. Ephesians 4:30; Hebrews 3:10,17; 1Thessalonians 5:19; Romans 1:18-32; 8:14; Acts 1:8; John 16:5-16; James 4:6; Mark 11:23; Proverbs 3:5-7; Psalm 145:8-9; 2Timothy 3:16;

30. SINS OF COMMISSION:

Sins of commission are sins committed consciously, knowingly and intentionally with your conscience bearing witness that you are sinning. They are the very common sins from the every day temptations of the devil and the lusts of our flesh. Sins of commission are sins of obvious disobedience to the word of God, disobedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit and rebellion to any given authority including the authority of your spirit to rule over all your decisions.

They are sins mostly committed against our neighbours due to lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life. They are all called the works of the flesh. Galatians 5:19-21 (KJV) "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have alsmo told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God".
When you commit sins of commission you know immediately because your conscience bears you witness that you have sinned. Your conscience is the voice of your spirit.

The sins of Commission must be confessed in order to receive forgiveness. Confession is acknowledging your sins and agreeing with God that you have sinned. Refusal to confess sins of commission leads to indulgence, habitual sinning and searing of your conscience. These could lead to sickness, poverty, failure, oppression of the devil, and untimely death. Sins of commission will break your fellowship with God not your relationship with God. For example in the story of the prodigal son In Luke 15:11-32, while he was living in sin, even though he had lost fellowship with the father, he was still the son of the father.

Also the elder brother who fell into sin because of the return of his brother did not loose relationship with the father even though he had sepaerated himself. We must understand that God is love. God never separates from sinners, it is sinners who separate themselves from fellowship with God. Jesus had more fellowship with sinners than those who claimed to be righteous. Jesus came to show us the heart of God towards the sin. In the coming of Jesus it was not man that was seeking reconciliation with God it was God coming to man. 29. Another way of walking in the light is praying more in the spirit than with understanding. When we pray in the spirit the Holy Spirit helps us to intercede and take care of our sins of omission. Many sins of omission are committed by believers who pray only in understanding. The bible says in Romans 8:26-27 (KJV)26 "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God".

The bible says we do not know what to pray, even when we know what to pray, we do not know how to pray it according to the will of God in order to get answer from God. Most of the time we are praying amiss, in lusts and in carnality according to our feelings and what our carnal minds tell us. When we pray outside of the guidance of the spirit or not according to the will of God we are committing sins of omission. Most times we spend hours and days praying and even fasting all amiss and outside the will of God. Meanwhile we think we are praying not knowing we are walking in the sin of omission.

According to 1John 1:7-10 even though the sins of omission are unintentional yet we have to acknowledge them, confess them to God for forgiveness and cleansing by asking for his mercy over us for our unintentional sins. We also receive forgiveness and cleansing from sins of omission by walking in the light of the word of God we know and believe. When we walk in the light of the word you know and believe as a baby Christian, God will cleanse you from all unrighteousness even without your confession. Refusal to grow out of babyhood Christian or carnality and overcome sins of omission could be dangerous leading to constant oppression by the devil with sickness, poverty, failure, untimely death and inability to fulfill divine purpose and destiny.

Thank God for the resurrection power that has made all these provisions for us to overcome sins of omission. If Christ was not resurrected we would all have been in our sins as there would have been no forgiveness of sins. The resurrection of Jesus was the complete victory over sin and all the powers and dominion over sin over man. Ephesians 1:7; 6:18; Jude 20; Philippians 4:6-8; James 4:1-4; 1John 5:14-15; 1Corinthians 15:3-4,13-19; Revelation 1:5; Hebrew 7:19-27; 9:11-28; 10:1-18;

28. Sins of Omission are sins you commit not knowing that they are sin. Even though they are unintentional sins but they are still sins because ignorance of the law is not an excuse. They still carry the consequences or wages of sin which includes sickness, diseases, poverty, failure, demonic oppression and death. The carnal man can never please God and he can never fulfill his purpose and destiny. Romans 8:6-8 (KJV) "For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God."

Carnality or sins of omission is the reason for many challenges we go through in life especially sicknesses, poverty and untimely death. But thank God that God in Christ Jesus has given us power to over come carnality and the sins of omission through spiritual growth in the word and living by faith in the spirit. We must strive daily for maturity in the faith. To live in carnality and to be dominated by sins of omission is to live in the permissive will of God for our lives. When you live in the permissive will of God you suffer what unbelievers suffer because you have fasiled to take advantage of the blessings and benefits of the resurrection power.

The bible says in Romans 8:1, 9-14 (KJV)1 "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. 27. SINS OF OMISSION: The second type of sin are the sins of omission. Sins of omission are sins committed unknowingly, unintentionally and unconsciously due to the sin nature in our body, walking according to human culture, customs and traditions instead of living according to the word of God. They are mostly sins of carnality. To be carnal means to live like a mere man or the natural man instead of the spiritual life.1Corinthians 3:1, 3-4 (KJV)1 "And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? .

Sins of Omission are sins committed mostly by baby Christians who are not yet matured and older Christians who are walking in unbelief and who do not know who they are in Christ. Sins of omission are sins we commit when we take decisions naturally according to our feelings and knowledge as a male, female, tribe, education, money, circumstances instead of taking decisions based on the word of God or the leading of the Holy Spirit.

They are decisions and actions that are naturally good, right and commendable but the motive are of the flesh. They are sin because they are decisions and actions not by faith in the word of God. The bible says in Romans 14:23 whatever is not of faith is sin. A faith decision is a decision or action you take based on the word of God. Every step out of love is sin. Every step out of love is a step out of faith for faith works by love. Common sins of omission selfishness, unbelief, fear, doubts, rationalism, ignorance, etc.

Thank God for the blood of Jesus and the resurrection of Jesus. By the blood of Jesus and because of the blood of Jesus all our sins of omissions are washed away continually by the blood. The blood is for all times. Also by the power of the resurrection and the new life in Christ we have power to live about sins of omissions as we walk in the spirit and in the newness of life in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:3-2Corinthians 5:16-17; Galatians 3:28; 5:16; 1Corinthians 3:1-6;

If you need healing the bible says In Matthew 8:17 that Jesus Himself took all our sicknesses and diseases. Therefore you can receive your healing now by faith in the name of Jesus. Just lay your hand on the affected area and say this prayer. Father God in the name of Jesus I believe that Jesus died for my healing. I believe He took all my sickness and diseases on the cross. If He took them, then I cannot have them. Therefore I resist and I reject every sickness in my body and I confess Jesus today as my healer and I receive my healing now. Thank you Jesus that I am healed. 1Peter 2:24; Ps 107:20.
Now begin to do what you couldn't do before because of the sickness. You are healed in Jesus name.

You can become a born again child of God today. The bible says If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10; John 1:12.

Say this prayer: O God have mercy on me. I come to you today in the name of Jesus. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that He died for me. I believe that you raised Him from the dead for my salvation from all the powers of the devil. I accept Jesus in my heart today and I confess Him today as my Lord and Saviour. Thank you Father that today I am saved In Jesus name.
