Nairaland GeneralRe: Chronicle Of Ikenna Chapter 1:1-35 by Pataki: 11:09pm On Aug 07, 2013
Ikenna351: This morning, there was this news about a teen who committed suicide on CNN. All because of cyberbulling.

You may think its called freedom of expression. Well, as long as you have caused loss of live somewhere, you wil surely pay for it. See, irrespective of our spiritual beliefs, nature has away of taking care of things. Pollute the land with blood, and it will come back and haunt you, whether you believe in God or not. Nature was designed to take care of itself.

As a Catholic, not just a Catholic, but someone with Seminary background, grave sins are not just your deeds/actions or utterances, but also your inaction or things you fail to do. What have you done with the position you find yourself to prevent evil from spreading? What were you able do in your position to save lives? The position you find yourself, how did you use it to impact positively in people's lives? All these questions would tell you where i was coming from while i was here. And i would want each and everyone of us to ask and answer those questions to ourselves.

You are spreading hatred among tribes and you think you have nothing to lose? I dont think so. Like i said, nature has away of dealing with us, for every of our actions, utterances and inactions. The elders among in your family will that better. Consequences come in various forms or means: children, unborn children, businesses, health, etc. If you think you are rich enough not to become poor in life again, better think again. Ask some of our people in our villages and they will tell you better. You think you are too young to type whatever you like behind keyboard, all in the name of fun? Think again. Ask those who went out and never came back to their homes with full part of the body. You think accidents are made for some people and not you? You think when you cause loss of live with your keyboard, that your own body will remain intact? Like i said, nature has a way of taking care of itself. Pollute land with human blood and it will deal with you accodingly.

What can i say? Change when you still have the chance.

Ikenna
Hahahaha, ikena the preacher boy!

When you went about cyber bullying me on this forum, did you consider that I could have thought of suicide?

Or you think I have forgotten your exact words to me: "you will not like my reaction on your profile"? You are simply a kid who needs to really grow up.

When you decided to start cyber-stalking most of the Yoruba posters on this section, myself inclusive, did you ever know your disgrace was so on the way?

Face it son, you went way beyond the job assigned to you and you got heavily disgraced for it. Oh yes, I did have a good laugh with that, alongside all your kindergarten whinging threads you were creating on this section.

Stop lurking around this area. You are better off in your car mechanic section. You totally disgust me with your silly egocentric attitude.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Chronicle Of Ikenna Chapter 1:1-35 by Pataki: 6:33pm On Aug 07, 2013
Who cares about the scapegrace of a person called ikenne or whatever his name is.

That ibo boy of a ikenna, I reported a tribalistic post from one of his ibo brothers, he decided to hide my post, and immediately banned me while he deliberately left the tribalistic post which I reported. Thanks to good conscience people like Mukina for doing the right thing.

Good riddance to such a nuisance.
PoliticsRe: Committee On Traffic Surveillance Camera Inaugurated by Pataki: 10:37am On Aug 07, 2013
princefunmi: This is a long dead thread. Still, I will take the liberty to comment.

Granted! A lot of things are still out of place in Nigeria. I haven't been to the other countries to see what their police cruisers look like. But common sense tells me that this picture you posted cannot be a regular police cruiser. Yes, there may be some specialized cruisers, but think of it, a police cruiser is quite likely to be involved in intense vehicular chases from time to time. It is not uncommon for cruisers to be totaled in such chases. If all this gadgets are in a cruiser, don't you think it would constitute a danger to officers who might get involved in car chases, knowing full well there is a chance they may get involved in some horrendous collision. Just saying.

Going back to the matter at hand. A lot of you guys on this thread are rather short sighted. I'm sorry to say. No offence intended really. Catching the bad guys is just on small benefit of traffic cameras. Sometimes we wish we could have an eagle eye on some roads to know what traffic is like there. With the traffic cameras installed, all you need do is develop an app that would interpolate feeds from this camera's and aggregate them on the app. You now then have a functional traffic monitor in your hands. This is a very common application in places like Japan, China, UK and the rest. That's only one of the many good aspect and possibilities about it provided it is followed through.

I think its high time we stopped complaining about everything and anything and become more proactive. Lets see the possibilities and not the hindrances. Its a shame that many of the guys who complain here are those who go to other countries and live a life of second class inhabitants and then come back and spew out a lot of trash talk. What impact are you making? None.
Living in other countries is not a social status or class thing. Its degenerate when people think its a class thing when you go to other countries and live and work as aliens without due and proper recourse to your homeland. Think about it, if Nigeria goes up in smoke today and ceases to exist, it means you have no roots.

Billyonaire: Mr. President wife lost the mum and we got no condolences from Fashola, but this President is examplary in all his ways. I am so proud of him. Meanwhile, may the Souls of all the faithful departed, through the Mercy of the Gods rest peacefully, including Papa Fashola's.
Looking for cheap political points to make. You smack of a desperate evil minded being. Unfortunately, if this is the sole intent of the President for making his condolence known, he is simply making more enemies than ever.

Don't you people know when to shut up and stop complicating things for your dunderhead of a President? undecided

OAM4J: We have done the bold already, if you click any of those links from google, you will get nothing. It will take a while for them to clear from google databases. But in case you find any of those derogatory titles/threads still up, please send me the link.
Oh OK. Never bothered opening the links though. I sincerely hope you guys mean business this time around.
PoliticsRe: Can We Put An End To Ethnic Rivalries And Hostilities? by Pataki: 7:39pm On Aug 04, 2013
Here are my suggestions.......

1. If you have a certain number of bans, it should automatically disqualify you from creating a thread/topic on Politics Nairaland.

2. Until you have a minimum of over 300 posts on the politics board, you should not be able or allowed to create a thread.

3. Clear out ALL denigrating old threads about tribes on this forum. When I did a Google search on: "Yorubas are", my top finds pointed me to Nairaland.

4. Biased moderating has to stop! Afam and sexkillz should forthwith cease being moderators here. They are nothing but mercenaries for the ibo propaganda on this forum. Two biased ibo moderators is a clear signal that Seun himself loves tribalism.
PoliticsRe: Can We Put An End To Ethnic Rivalries And Hostilities? by Pataki: 2:38am On Aug 04, 2013
Desola: Aww...typical Yoruba boy who believes in order and the law.

Shame those you deal with do not care about the law but about jungle justice. As we speak now, i'm sue he has taken up his other moniker which the moderators know only too well. They would not ban that other moniker but guess what would happen if it were a Yoruba poster.

Yep, you guessed right...or at least I hope you did.
Seun made a mistake no doubt. Afam is making boast that he banned someone here till 2056 for creating a thread deliberately with a misleading headline.

Whereas, this igbo insecure 9jerian, whom I have reported twice now, Afam is simply giving him a word of caution. Thanks to OAM4J doing the right thing.
PoliticsRe: Let's Have Your Complaints, Suggestions & Enquiries Here by Pataki: 2:24am On Aug 04, 2013
OAM4J: Send me a PM of the Police Press release where Fashola was declared as "The Most Wanted Deadly Kidnapper". And I will unban you, make the thread visible and recommend it for homepage.

Cheers.
Oh he has been banned? Thanks.

Afam4eva: The title of the thread is misleading and has no source. I remember banning someone till 2056 for a similar thread. Let's hope it doesn't repeat itself. Thanks.
This is the second time I have noted, reporting this dude for mischievously creating topics to incite or instigate emotions wrongly on this board which you have refused to ban him till 2056.
PoliticsRe: Let's Have Your Complaints, Suggestions & Enquiries Here by Pataki: 2:18am On Aug 04, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: @Moderators, pls why was this thread deleted
https://www.nairaland.com/1383780/fashola-now-most-wanted-deadly
Why was this guy not banned? He should serve as a deterrent to others not to create threads that are aimed at denigrating a tribe.

OAM4J, if I may ask, to what purpose did you create that thread seeking for caution when people like this insecured dude quoted above, clearly saw the thread you made and decided to flagrantly disregard the caution placed and opened a thread which within minutes was already filled tribal invectives against the Yoruba race? I think you are only encouraging him to keep coming back with further foolish threads.

To even read that he has the temerity to question why his foolish thread was deleted!! What an applesauce!
PoliticsRe: Can We Put An End To Ethnic Rivalries And Hostilities? by Pataki: 2:09am On Aug 04, 2013
Stop reporting and take action!! When you see a post or thread like that, create 10 insulting Ojukwu, only then bigoted ibo mods will pay attention to you. They are part of the bigger.
Actually, I carefully choose who and whom I want to insult. I won't waste my energy insulting some of these igbo boys who simply are nothing but goats. I rather prefer the moderators dealing with the people who incite these goats to be spewing such nonsense here and there. In this particular case, insincere 9jerian was truly deserving of a ban and that thread appropriately deleted. I hope he got the needed ban though.

He would apply caution the next time he comes on this board.

asha 80: you think igbos started tribalism on nairaland?where you here in nairaland from 2005 when nairaland started?i guess not.i am sure too you were not here at the peak of 2007 and 2008.if only you can search back to topics then.most igbos would have felt that nairaland was some sort of fascist site against them.
Help me out here please.....google: "Yorubas are" I would love to know what are your top finds.

Yorubas are utterly accomodating people. I personally do not have issues with ibos. But if some ibo gnats inclusive some of the moderators think that insulting Yorubas on a consistent basis will henceforth be tolerated, they are totally wrong.

I have been on this forum since 2006, and tribalism has NEVER been this deplorable not until all these ibo bigots as moderators invaded this board.

payless: I totally agree with you. What does he still want here? He is bigot too who came here trying to be macho without knowing the rule. I hate that ikenna boy so much I refuse to write him by starting with a capital letter. He should just stay with his mechanic work at Berger in Abuja.
I have noticed the rancid being and how he quickly springs up here once tribal issues are raised on this board. He makes no intellectual debate or contribution to this section and the egomaniac malodorous oaf thinks he knows it all.

So glad when he took the walk of shame off this board.

On a serious note. I may not always agree with OAM4J, but dont you think you are being unfair to him, his co-mods and the Admin? What has he said here that is so wrong that warrant name calling and condemning his intention to sanitize this section?

I would advice you cooperate with them.

OAM4J, why are threads like this allowed here?

It is such threads like this that makes one go mental on this dunderhead of a tribe.

I really think posters without a certain amount of posts on this forum should not be allowed to create threads especially on a volatile section like the Politics board.

Longeria: Dear president

Time and space may not allow me to add the negative part of your government hence the positives and the need to correct and improve. On 28th of this month make me 41 years on earth, only in your administration I witness empty filling stations, running rails, Agriculture revolution, airport transformation, electoral reform, electricity reforms, education, roads, improved external affairs policy, etc. To me, the Nigeria you inherited is like a burnt house, not possible to rebuild in four years, your zeal and patriotism in tackling the mountainous tasks simultaneously gives me hope of light at the end of the tunnel. I make bold to urge you to disregard the intimidation and ranting of all the MERGING NUISANCE and concentrate on making the country real giant of Africa. Why change a winning team when we are striving to top African development premier league. I make bold to urge you to declare for second term, you deserve it, you will get it.

LONGERIA
Portharcourt
41 years old - what a shame. I guess in your village, agriculture revolution entails cassava bread and buying chinko phones for farmers.

Or the airport transformation is all about repainting airports here and there. You should be ashamed for wasting all your productive years, if all you can show for it, is this nuisance post of yours above.

If people like you are not put under control immediately, I see a future Retardeen in you. A pending disaster for the nation.

ujchief: I just wish you could grow bigger than this! Nowadays, its difficult for neutral observers to air their personal observation and opinion without being tagged a tribalist. The level of paranoia is that bad. Someone can't condemn an act from a leader without being tagged a 'yoruba' hater; while someone can't upheld a decision made by a leader without being tagged an 'igbo' hater. What happened to our own personal opinions? Can't we make comments devoid of sentiments; irrespective of whose ox is being gored? Must we support/oppose a move just because of tribal sentiments? We all are guilty in this, we need a redress ASAP!

Like I said in my previous post, this section is becoming unhealthy for a lot of us. Its easier to destroy than to build. Let us try and remedy this situation.

Enough of my whining; time for recommendations;
I will suggest that ;

1. since this present issue of deportation has been over-flogged, let the mods cease to move topics of such to the frontpage again.

2. Its possible that people are trying hard to air their views but are being misunderstood; I will suggest a chat-central thread be started here in the politics section. When issues such as this comes up, we can all gather at the chat thread and 'kill' ourselves cheesy instead of washing our 'dirty' linens in every thread that has related issue.

3. We can try and resurrect the debate we used to have in this section. Instead of fighting over cases as this, the topic can be presented as a debate and people can come in a civilized manner and discourse it.

These are the few remedies I could think of for now.
@ Seun and Mukina2,

Why not make this guy a politics moderator? He is Igbo, unbiased (even encourages us to 'kill' ourselves in a central chat thread cheesy), smart, articulate and makes several good points which cannot be said of the other ibo moderators that are unfortunately the moderators here.

wirinet: What of you? Are you from Lagos? Were your parents and grand parents borno in lagos. Does being Igbo exclude one from being an indigene of lagos state?
You people will be the first to claim US and British citizenship with adedibu like marks and yet deny fellow nigerian the indigeneship of his land of birth.
I am Yoruba. Lagos is primarily a Yoruba land. I can lay claim to any part of my region and live comfortably while abiding to the rules of my host.

If I happen to migrate to an iboland, I should make myself worthy of living there and NOT be a nuisance! If Ibos want to claim being Yoruba, no problem. But please do not constitute yourselves as a nuisance in my region. How many Yorubas have you discovered disgracing themselves in your iboland?

Speak to your people and get some simple commonsense into them. Lagos state or any other Yoruba state in Nigeria, is not a dumping ground for any ibo nuisance.
