Pataki and elrazur

Can you please read this, I bet it was his fathers report to them that made them include him on the so called "list" of terrorists.
@Pataki
Do you still want his father investigated?
It is only in Nigeria a a person commits a crime and his whole family are arrested . Pataki you are only displaying the typical mindset of a nigeria police officer.
I have replied you thus:
Pataki:
This is what I term as ''idiotic patronizing claptrap''. He knew of his son's extremist view all along, yet still gives him the best of the best of funding and travel expenses acrosss the world? How was his son able to afford a 4million pound rented apartment to student in Central London? Suddenly, the news of his son comes flying out, Muttalab himself declares he has notified the US of his extreme Islamic views. Total incoherent jargons.

Ex-First Bank Chairman's Son Identified as US Plane Attempted Bomber
• Father reported him to US Authorities long few months ago

The young man, who yesterday night attempted to ignite an explosive device aboard a North-West Airlines flight going from Amsterdam to Detroit, Michigan in the United States has been identified as Abdul Farouk Umar Abdulmutallab, the 23-year-old son of Alhaji Umaru Mutallab, former First Bank chairman, who just retired from the bank's board a fortnight ago.

The older Mutallab, who as at the time of filing this report, had just left his Katsina hometown for Abuja for the purpose of speaking with security agencies, was said to have noticed the extreme nature of the boy's religious belief and has taken several measures to tame him.

In fact, the former bank chairman, a close source told THISDAY, had a few months ago reported the boy's activities to United States' authorities and Nigerian security agencies.

The older Mutallab was said to be devastated on hearing the news of abdullFarouk's arrest. A source close to him said he was surprised that after his reports to the US authorities, the young man was still issued a visa to enter the United States.

The suspect, Abdulfarouk Muttalab who is an engineering student at the University College, London had been noted for his extreme views on religion since his secondary school days at the British International School, Lome, Togo.

At the secondary school, he was known for preaching about Islam to his school mates and he qwas popularly called ëAlfaí , a local coinage for Islamic scholar. After his secondary school, the young man, family sources said, once relocated to Dubai in  the United Arab Emirates from where he declared to his family members that he did not want to have anything to do with any of them again.

His father, Muttalab is a prominent Nigerian who is a regular visitor to the US where he visits for medical check up and holiday. He is expected to issue a statement later today. Muttalab is married to a Yemeni who however is not the mother of the young man now receiving treatment in Ann Harbor Hospital, Detroit  for burns suffered while he was trying to detonate the expolosive device.

Meanwhile, the federal government of Nigeria yesterday issued a press statement on the incident.
The statement signed by Prof. Dora Akunyili, minister of information and communications, reads:  " Federal Government of Nigeria received with dismay the news of an attempted terrorist attack on a US airline. We state very clearly that as a nation, we abhor all forms of terrorism. The Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck

@pataki

That his father his chairman of Jaiz islamic bankand you linking it to terrorist financial network is absolutely ridiculous. How much does a firecracker "banga"costs and how much is a box of matches or cigarette lighter.

This dude acted on his own and I still dont believe the whole story and intent because it just doesnt add up.

Bloomberg links him to yemen and even linked him to Awlaki the cleric that was linked to Nidal, which is just plain ridiculous. It seems the US wants to invade yemen as well. Any excuse they link everything together and sell it to the world. Lets tell them we arent plaion silly.

A terrorist of AQ capability or links will not blow up a landing plane rather will blow up the plane mid air the atlantic ocean.
Please engage some thinking faculty. A firecrack under a pressurized plane, even as little as a banger is dangerous. Have you ever thought, why bangers/fireworks are never ignited inside a house or a closed environment? You stated that you are a chemical engineer, do not let your religious bigotry blindfold your senses in this matter.

As for financial fundings/sponsoring, it is only sensible and logical to question the unquestionable. If you employ good sense of investigation, which I know you do have, you would question whether his father has anything to do with it. Islamic banking on its own, have their own agenda for banking. His father, could be no different from an extremist in my own view. He is prone for investigation and I assume, he must have connections to one or two terrorist networks going by what we are hearing of his own son. He cannot claim he is oblivious to the act and behavior of his son over an extended period of time.

@Debosky

Just confirme again that the plane was already into landing and was actually 2 mniutes about to touch the ground. Now any explosion at this time is just a mere joke and will not have any impact as small explosives will only burn the he igniter and make a sound.

This leaves me to wonder what on earth is really happening.
As a scientist, I expect you to put on your thinking caps seriously. A plane two minutes from landing is still mid-air with albeit low altitude. Whether it has landed or not is not the point. The fact that it contains people in it, and the fact that he carried explosives on him while bound in air comes with an intent of terror. Is that lost on you?

Any explosion of a plane, two minutes from landing is ''just a mere joke''? WOW! Seriously, I think it is time FBI and CIA start investigating into some of you peeps posting on this forum.
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Man Attempts To Detonate Explosive On Delta Flight In US by Pataki: 1:30pm On Dec 26, 2009
I am truly saddened with this news. I cannot imagine what will make a Nigerian get up and decide it is time to blow himself up and others. A Nigerian student in London who should be busy with his studies or assignments. It is time, we start looking at all these ministers and rich men who send their wards abroad, giving them open blank cheques, access to travel to anywhere in the world and end-up misbehaving and giving a bad name to the nation. Not to say that the name 'Nigeria' in itself, does not connote BAD to the eyes of the world.

There are a lot of un-revealed intricasies with this story and this boy. How did he get an Al Queda connection? Does his father, who is the chairman of Nigeria Islamic Banking have any financial funding/sponsoring with Al Quaeda or anyother Islamic terrorist network? How was he able to escape airport checks at Schipol? I have used Schipol airport on countless occasions, and it is very very hard to pass through them without proper scrutiny. How did he do it? Does he have an accomplice within the airport itself? How come, he was on a no-list for passengers?

I am so sure, a lot of feathers will be unruffled in the coming days, linked with top government officials and rulers most especially within the Nothern clique of Nigeria. I cannot wait for more salacious news upon the outcome of investigations that will be taking place from this incident.

As for this affecting Nigeria and Nigerians in respect to visa application, I think, it is a tad silly to engage in fears of visa denial for Nigerians. Afterall, Nigerians are denied US visas on a daily basis.
RomanceRe: If Majority Of 9ja Women R Considered Ugly, Then Majority Of 9ja Men R Also Ugly by Pataki: 11:23am On Dec 26, 2009
Most of the women talking on these board are far from the realities of life. The truth is that if you ''worwor'' as a woman, you are victimised and treated with slight disdain.

Was at the club some days ago with my mates, met this ''pretty'' naija chic, my friend hit her up, things got hot, exchanged details thereafter. We got home, decided to check her facebook profile up, totally disgusted with her appearance! She was only blessed with jugs. We immediately understood why she said she was having a ''No Strings Attached F**cking'' with another married man here in London.

I have seen cases of worwor naija women committing suicide out of desperation for having no man to approach them. Tough luck for women. Even Seal, as he worwor reach, still has the best of the best of pretty women flocking around him.
Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: 2010 - The Year I Must Get An Husband Either The Devil Likes It Or Not by Pataki: 10:59pm On Dec 21, 2009
@ Poster,

Age 30 seriously? What were you doing all these years that you allowed time to pass you by? Anyway, it is never too late. But like seriously. . . . . . . slow down with the aggression.

Your posts comes across as being overly desperate to get married; and nothing wrong with the criterias you want in your man, but a lasting relationship goes deeper than all what you have typed out here as requirements you want in your man.

All the best.

Well, good that you have stated your intentions when going clubbing. But it still does not negate the fact your Nigerian sistas should be avoided in night clubs. tongue

@ Ebonyeyes,

A Nigerian girl goes to a club to protect herself? I laugh in Soweto.

It seems the whole concept of clubbing is lost on my Nigerian sistas. It is basically a place and time to unwind, relax, mingle and have fun. What is the point of coming to a night club and acting all like a man has never touched you before?

If she wants to protect herself, she should sit down at home and be watching Holy Oaks!

@ Ebonyeyes,

A lady should know what she wants and stand to it. If I ever come across hypocrites, it is mostly you women. Not saying we men are not. . . .but understand that we are wired to have a greedy eye when it comes to women. What can be said of a woman who goes about sleeping from one man to another? What is she looking for?

When I hear of a lady who has slept around with men, no matter how beautiful she is, she is already a piece of filth in my eyes. Women should learn to close-up their legs at all times. I rather adore a woman who gives me the tough time than a woman who freely gives it to me and alll, and still acts like she is a saint. Some of such women can be found in the clubs.
RomanceRe: 9ja Boys In Uk Clubs by Pataki: 12:22pm On Dec 21, 2009
@ Ebonyeyes,

Guys are not being hypocritical. What would make a girl sleep around with as many guys in town and not expect that her story would be passed around?

I for one, never take girls met in clubs serious. Although some of my friends met their partners from the club, and they turn out to be decent girls with a good head above their shoulder.
RomanceRe: Angry Black Woman - Fact Or Myth? by Pataki: 7:19am On Dec 17, 2009
In times back, I held on to the belief that it was a myth. But my life experiences has taught me otherwise. Black women filled with all manners of anger, deception, vituperations and tantrums.

I do not lay the blame on them though; it has all been borne out of pseudo-lives shown to these women, and when reality hits like a thunder strike, these women become frustrated and angry.
