Understandable ![]() Just that I don't take most of the threads serious
No one is asking you to take any thread serious. You might as well move over to the joke section. People with real life time issues come here and raise it up for discussions, albeit, there are some un-serious threads in this section. It however does not mean, most threads must be treated as a joke or chit-chat arena.Tgirl4real:So soon? Lol!!! Phew! |
Please keep up with posting these pictures. This is surely a good idea. Let the world identify with our corrupt leaders, and know that Nigerians are leery of their own leaders. Let their future generation know that their progenitors are thieves and pen rogues. I will be back to mine as well. |
debosky:How ironical. 1 - There is a ''publicly available'' biography of her; 2 - She holds a PhD from a distinguished institution; 3 - She has an extensive experience; 4 - Does that imply she holds a professorial title-ship without it being made (a)''publicly available''; (b) ''through which institution'' and (c)''what research experience she has undertaken and from where'' to deserve a professorial appointment? |
Tgirl4real:@ Tgirl4real, Yes you are quite right with your rejoinder. However, there are some fundamental issues you still are missing, which I feel I should point out. That you state that one being financially, spiritually stable or OK cannot be used as being matured has its flaws. The exclusive parameter to weighing such is relative and different ladies have often times used it as a maturity criteria when choosing their man. Would you therefore imply they are immatured? In my view, the main determinant to be used for assessing maturity is seeing a person who is ready to open-up and make amends when in the wrong. Not only in the wrong, but is willing to accept and take in corrections when necessary, but yet still can stamp his or her feet when situation demands. I agree with you, maturity can be seen by two different people in one person, but yet still, it does not form the totality or summation that such an individual is solely matured. Tgirl4real:I absolutely concur with you here Miss. ![]() |
LOL! People tend to be attached to things which cannot be shared with other. I also have that habit too. In the first place, how old is your son, that he could not know which socks was his and which was not? Since you stated they are both clinical about sharing things. That stated, give him time, he will stop talking about it. It is just a matter of time. Do not pay him attention, and he would learn how to shut-up in no time. |
Tgirl4real:The pertinent question to ask is that; is there a standard for measuring maturity? We all weigh maturity from our view points. What I may count as maturity in a relationship, might just be the foundation of accepting maturity to you. In other words, maturity is relative. If a lady says she wants a man who is well established, financially, socially, spiritually etc. . . . . of course whatever standards she set is based on her exposure. Her exposure is determined by her maturity. So I believe my point is absolutely right. |
Sir Alan was rather biased this evening. And for once, I think his instincts were totally flawed. James should have been the one out. Even though, at last week, I felt Maj should have been out as he made no contribution and had been rather too quiet in most planning and implementation of project tasks assigned to them. Anyways, it is all part of the intrigues and dynamics of business survival. Sure there are good lessons to be learnt and acquired from the show. |
My goodness! Poster, you have got to be absolutely kidding yourself here! NEVER EVER seen her? Just her voice and free night calls to her, are all that dazzles you? WOW!!!!! No point to harangue you. If it works out for you, fine. If it does not, you would learn how to go the whole way before committing yourself to any relationship the next time. All the best. |
Without any doubt, it sure exist. Just that, there are too many rubbish out there. ![]() |
Maturity is relative my dear. What you count as maturity may not be acceptable to another lady as 'maturity'. What is most essential is that you find what you looking for in a man. Get your priorities right, and if he does not have them, move on. |
ChuckWoody:Yeah you are very right. Barcelona is sure a lovely city. Just that in my case, never took a lady there, rather I met a chic there. And sure, no need for ideas as she had all the ideas I could never even imagine. |
9ice brought his own flavor of music, which I truly find appealing and endearing. He has used his own mouth to promote himself with his songs, and yet maintained a low profile with it. That is really remarkable of him. |
Wow! That's so true. Steve the Sleek Kadiri. I wonder where that man is now. Hope he is no more drinking now. |
Cooking? Too lazy these days to be bothered. I remembered, I once wanted to organize a cooking competition some years back. I knew I do be in the top spot, unfortunately, never got to see the light of the day. ![]() Anyways, thank goodness she is a lovely cook, but still, I am sure there would be competition in our home to whose cooking is the best. And our children would be the judges. ![]() |
tpia:See who is calling one an illiterate. Please check your spelling you dimwit. I wonder how you learnt English language in the first place. If you could have an easy recourse to referring to Wikipedia just some minutes ago as part of your input, what has stopped you since yesterday to show us where you saw Dr Okonjo-Iweala as a fellow to a college or institute as you claimed from which ever website you have seen it? Who is the intellectual dolt here? Whom have you seen following your idiotic line of reasoning except LadyTwat (whose sole contribution was just to diss Pataki)? Yet post after post, you type out your malodorous inanity, defending the unreasonable, and banging your head against the wall even when you have been corrected, not only by the male gender, but your female gender. Yet you have not only a tenacity to defend your waffle but also insult whomever sets it straight to you. What a gnat! |
tpia, can you even see your hypocrisy in the open? You know how to quickly ferret wikipedia to back-up your ''types of professor''. But a simple search to show us where you saw Okonjo-Iweala as a fellow at a college or institute as you stated since yesterday is no where to be found on this thread. ![]() Well-done oh! Your ''sagacity'' is astonishing. ![]() |
Men for the first time, Chelsea is making me speechless! This is serious thrashing!!!!! Chelsea (3) Liverpool (1) Now the only unbeaten team so far in the Champions league is ManU. |
@ i_laugh, Have you seen the video of the occurrence? I watched the video online, and I must say, the man had no reason to be pushed by the police that way. His back was to the policemen, his hands were inside his trouser pockets, and that push was unwarranted. And definitely, the IPCC UK is looking into that case as we discuss right now. The officer involved with the pushing will have to answer for his actions. That's the beauty of a developed country for you. Now back to the issue of Nigeria - as you demand 'where are the apologist'? Would the case had been the same? The case scenario was that of which anti-riot policemen were under stress, policemen had been attacked in the process of that demonstration, hence it can be reasonably tenable why that police officer did what he did. But in Nigeria, without any protest or demonstration, simply for refusing to give a Nigeria police officer twenty naira bribe- you may lose your life from a trigger happy-gun loaded police officer. Are such officers held accountable? NO. There is no country, that do not have police aggression - police brutality. But in the case of Nigeria, it is rather on very useless and ridiculous reasons such as refusal to pay bribe, stating your rights as a citizen of Nigeria, etc. Are there any measures to ensure such policemen are brought to proper justice? I leave the answer for your brain to decipher. |
troll, the burden of proof doesnt rest with me. get that hammered into your head. I didnt make the wiki entry and neither am I the one who jealously started this thread.tpia, the burden of proof is now on you. We are more than convinced, she is not a Professor. Various reasons and explanations have been given in respect to that. The onus now lies on you, to convincingly show us that Okonjo-Iweala is a Professor. All this noise you are making is irrelevant. You did not start the thread, and neither did you make the entry on wikipedia, but you rather audaciously tag those who question her title as ''bad belle.'' I would like you to validate your claim that truly it is ''bad belle'' on the part of the poster to incite this kind of thread. Is it not amazing all you have been doing is typing and typing the same thing without any supporting statement(s) to all what you have been typing? Where is your proof to indicate that it is ''bad belle'' on the part of RichyBlack and several others on the acclaimed Professor title-ship to Okonjo-Iweala? Without any substantial reference to a valid web-link, you are nothing but a noisemaker on this thread. |
I wonder why people are bothering to respond to the troll above me. A simple question was asked, she tagged it as ''bad belle''. Her adjoining question was answered, yet all she could say was: tpia:She does not have time to dig out her supporting information which by the way is utterly useless, yet she had the time precisely after two hours of making the comment quoted above to sit down and type this: tpia:One would have thought, rather than throw her tantrums on the internet, she do go and back-up her claims to astonishingly prove that there is really ''bad belle'' here. On the contrary, tilapia has failed to do, rather wallowing further in her idiocy. What a loon. ![]() |
If it is not Christians complaining that Muslims are terrorizing them in Lagos, it is another tribe laying allegations at the Lagos Government that they are being haunted and their wares are being destroyed in Lagos. Yet these developments are for the well-being of all and sundry. |
Becomrrich:Are you OK? Are you drunk? Were you sleep typing? Does this look like the Soludo thread? |
At least, we have the advantage of an away goal. Fabregas impressed me this evening. Was scared in the first half, but second half was totally delightsome. Professor Wenger must have said something stimulating to those boys in the dressing room. Well don Gunners! Eight days time, lets gun them down in the Emirates Stadium!!!!!! |
@ RichyBlack, I do not even think Oshodi oke will exist again though. ![]() That said, I adore Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, she is truly a remarkable woman. But let it be known, she is not yet a Professor. Thanks for making that correction on wikipedia. |
iReport:Yeah right! Stop making baseless allegations. ![]() |
iReport:At least, the wheat is being separated from the debris on this forum. Another educated woman to be proud of, has just typed, not like the Oshodi oke babes privileged to have internet access, that one keeps coming across on this section. ![]() |
LadyT:Jenifa, don't go yet. . . . . Read the moronic lines you have spitted. It is obvious a gallant idiot like you just types without reasoning. What a lame line of response. A person who is sick is normally not happy (bitter). So how does your line of: ''someone sick be so bitter'' make any sense? Mamdam educated but no brains. Ode akusara eniyan. ![]() |
iReport:How did you come about this ''informed decision'' of yours? |
LadyT:Arindin, oku igbe of a woman. Apoda aiyeraye oshi yi. ![]() At least the credibility and educational stand of a woman like you is being questioned, who can refer to yours? Useless entity. Keep on typing where you meet your moronic types typing. Shediot. ![]() |
bawomolo:Oh are you telling that ninny of a girl? She never knew what was the subject of discourse, never read what was being said, the goat just knows she must type since tilapia is typing. |
