Should this topic not be in the Foreign affairs section? ![]() |
What criterions are used to evaluate who is the best governor ![]() |
This is so hilarious. |
DeepZone a political analyst? Pataki must be a renowned sport commentator therefore. Is DeepZone is not fond of copying and pasting newspaper articles here and there and dumping it in the Politics section? As for the rest of the list, it is total hogwash. |
@ MJ2008, I actually know what it means (Magandang Umaga), I was just not sure of how it was written. I have a friend who works directly as a Personal Assistant to one of your Ministers on Energy Matters in Parliament in the Philippines, so she taught me some of your elementary Filipino language. ![]() Now to your enquiries. . . . . As much as possible, I would like to be discrete here given how people just come here, take suggestions proffered and misuse for their own selfish interests. As I earlier posited, you stand a better chance of appeal that re-applying. I also stated that the ECO's refusal points were baseless and useless because there is nothing stopping you from moving to the UK or anywhere else in the world to continue with your education. The UK offers world class standard education, and it is not racially biased towards any nation or race. In as much you meet the requirements of a student visa, by showing consistency with your previous education, having a credible and willing sponsor, you are academically sound and you perfectly understand the requirements enjoined on you as a student visa applicant you should get your visa. In respect to where you should decide to send in your appeal bundle, I do not know the working procedure and workload of the BHC in Manila. If you were to be in Nigeria, I do have automatically suggested that you send your appeal bundle immediately to AIT in the UK. However, I would still insist you forward your appeal bundle immediately to AIT in the UK. IMO, it is always the preferable. I have tried to answer your queries however not explicitly. If you still insist on re-applying, it will be another practical waste of money, and the ECO's reason for refusal this time around can be hinged on some other useless and baseless point which may be difficult to argue out at the AIT. One other question I had is: Would you have a willing representative to appear for you at the AIT hearing of your case in the UK? |
@ MJ2008, Ma ga na dang who manga. (Can you interprete it?) ![]() What are you planning on doing? Re-apply or Appeal? In my own opinion, you stand a better chance of appeal than re-applying. The ECO's reason for refusal are baseless and useless. If there is anything else you wish to ask, do let me know. |
bigboyslim:Go and read my post again and come back and tell me the disparity with what you are claiming I now said. ![]() |

tope2000:My honour lies with you always. No one else makes me post on nairaland except you. ![]() Where have you been all the while? And your shape is just perfect. You are an embodiment of perfection. Hannibal:Strolling out soon though. Today is Friday night. Lets make the best of the weekend. ![]() Want some? ![]() |
tope2000:Do not mind Hannibal. A player will always remain a PLAYER. @ Topic, Moderation is all that matters to me. Too much of bakassi is hazardous to my health. Too much of attack causes confusion. From history, heavily loaded women, are more inclined to an easy sexual satisfaction within seconds. ![]() |
Is it a must for a man to disclose his age? I know most ladies have the difficult of telling their ages when asked. . . . What makes it wrong for a man to do likewise? ![]() |
Lord be praised! |
While urging members of the family to bear the loss as an act of God, the acting governor however sympathised with the House of Assembly to see Rogo's death as an act of Allah.Which God are we talking of here? How can a Lawmaker be that stupid to go be filling his generator tank while the generator itself is still running. Shows stupidity is no respecter of persons. May his soul find peace. |
tope2000:See why you complement me. . . . . . Always thinking ahead of me. ![]() Having you makes my head swell all day na. ![]() |
tope2000:I thought it was you ![]() |
tope2000:I hate body odors seriously. I cannot stand the thought that part of my budget will go into buying deodorants for her to smell nice. ![]() If cooking is your hobby, I guess you and I will have to fight constantly for who uses the kitchen. ![]() I cannot tolerate any woman with me in the kitchen. That is the easiest way for a woman to offend me. ![]() |
tope2000:Yeah right. Last I checked, you got me ![]() So do you know how to cook? Or you got a putrid body odor? ![]() |
Hi Pataki, Glad to see you're here also. God bless you plenty. ![]() Now to your questions: Gladly. By Trinity, I understand the concept of the Godhead more as a matter of the Triune God. The word Trinity connotes different things to different people, and yes I believe in the Trinity as well. However, I'm persuaded that the word "triune" is closer home than I can convey in sharing this matter. It denotes that God is one and indivisible. His unity is given to us throughout the Bible in terms of the Godhead - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit - hence we read very early that God said: "Let US make man" (Gen 1:26). This "US" is not a question of separate Persons doing different work - it simply means that God is tri-unity in a way that is distinct from how we understand numbers. A good reference is John 1:1 where we read that the Word is God Himself and yet "with" God. God works in many ways past our finding out (Job 9:10). But in His essential Being, He is inseparable, although the Son is distingusihed from the Father, as is the Spirit distinct from the Father and the Son. When we assume to try and "separate" the Person of God Himself into "modes", we come to a dead-end with the question the Lord Jesus asked the crowd in His day: "If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?" (Matt. 22:43-45). The point there that stunned the crowd was that there was only one LORD, but to the casual and careless reader who reads Psalm 110:1, there seems to be two Lords - an idea that is directly opposite to divien revelation. Any wonder why no one answered that question? No, rather tritheism is a very different matter and bears no semblance to the Trinity. When scrutinized, tritheism is simply belief in 3 Gods - which is not what the Bible teaches.
As much as I would have loved to find a point to continue with this subject matter, I cannot simply find one. Many blessings for the additional wisdom. |
tope2000:Which of the two are you ![]() What should I be expecting? ![]() |
The difference between the two concepts is that Trinity points to inseparableness of being (more properly "Triune" - we thus can distinguish between the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; but we cannot separate them. On the other hand, it is tritheism that separates between them, and that is why many people have such a difficulty understanding the mystery of the Godhead.
Dear Pilgrim,Nice to see you here once again. Would you be so kind enough to explain further between Trinity and Tritheism? While I clearly note from your quote above that trinity points to inseparableness of of God, I am also mindful to know that it is a Godhead that functions in three different or separate categories of operation. Would you therefore imply from your post that tritheism is a subset of TRINITY? |
