You are missing the point.

Last season DDG should have been benched totally for Henderson and not any role sharing arrangement.

And even if there was role sharing the manager should have had the good sense to take DDG out before the penalty kicks.

To answer your question I would be comfortable with Henderson starting all games and DDG rotating the bench with Heaton.
If they had done this all through last season he would have found himself a club by now and we would have found out how good Henderson is also.

They should stop sharing duties and bench him completely. It seems there is nobody with any backbone in the coaching staff or the board. They keep kicking the can down the road rather than take decisive action.

Well, you are right...Ole should have him start 20-25 consecutive games, that way we will have an idea what we have on our hands...

In all, like you rightly said, Ole can't be trusted to make the very big decisions...

Henderson and Heaton...We don't know if Henderson will be able to handle the pressure that comes with playing for United, nobody knows how it will pan out...I remember how Romero was entrusted to mount the post after that infamous De Gea failed move to Madrid, he was consumed with the expectations from the fans and coaching staff...Most folks have forgotten but I still remember that Gomis celebration when Swansea did us dirty. Once De Gea came back and Romero sent to the bench, only playing less important cup games, he suddenly looked very good again...

My issue is not about shipping him out, yes the mistake has been made by renewing hus criminal contract. But must you play him? And he continue costing the team. For eg It was DDG that denied Man United UCL 2 years ago, costing the team the FA cup and Europa league last year.

Another point to note is that Henderson might crumble when tasked to do the job on a consistent basis, the pressure here is massive...
