Pastor knows this. That's why he said what he said.

He's not wrong though- Lingard and Pogba are vain with "Rashy" now joining the gang; and Rashford, Martial and to some extent Pereira are guilty of trying to find solutions all by themselves.

Fred gives his all, physically, in games but he has to offer more in terms of quality. With Bruno's availability, his bench days are here again.

Are you sure McTom will be ready for the match against Chelsea?
I don't agree with this your submission. Fred has stepped up big time, I reckon if McTominay was fit, Fred would still have outshined him. Bar Pogba and Bruno (arguably), Fred is our most technically gifted midfielder...

None if them can even touch Fred now, not even Main man.

what he said is what we all are seeing, players going into the pitch and playing like strangers that just met for the first time.

35points from 25games lol, no be everybody get the poor mentality to see dis type of mediocrity and continue saying that the team is doing well, pashun, fine margins etc.
Thank you. Fred has said what the likes of Ferdinand, Neville and Scholes have refused to say just to save Ole.

Let VVD win the world cup with his cowardly defending first before we compare him to those who have

Ramos Pique Boateng all won before their 26th birthday, that was around the time VVD was struggling in Southampton

They are all Europeans like him from grade A football nations
Okay

Acceptable limits? Well, this line will suffice whenever you come with your agenda here. VVD will certainly be a beneficiary.

Patrickmuf this is an example
I don't need an authority in the game to point out that Boateng should at least be yellow carded for me to know it's a dangerous play. Reading your responses up there, you're more or less saying any tackle from a world cup winning defender is a fair one. To win an argument, you get to read a lot of ridiculous stuff...

Doesn't change anything... They will just form another party . The problem with Nigeria is the citizens , until they stop voting along tribal , religious , and party sentiment , then the country can change .
True that but I'll like to add that the cost of the electioneering process should be reduced from party ticket to the cost of consultations. Imagine visiting every ward in a state and sharing at least 50 bags of rice plus 10m, not forgetting consultations to so called elders...The cost is just too much, most politicians have to steal to balance the books when they win others go broke if they lose because in most cases they have to borrow to prosecute an election and that births the desperation that leads to the loss of lives and properties...

Even if we bought Messi , we would still be complaining about our blunt attack. Attack in this age is more than quality players. A team needs to be drilled in a distinguished attacking style; practiced and mastered on the training ground, that must be the core attribute of the team, irrespective of the personalities to carry it out.

Ole is bereft and devoid of these contemporary attacking styles. This is validated by our failure to create clear cut chances in our matches. Most of our goals are scored by individual brilliance of our forwards . It’s not really ole’s fault, you simply can’t give what you don’t have. It’s my humble submission that ole should be relieved of his duties and be appointed as the director of football. A club as huge as ours deserves a tactically sound manager. And no, counter-attacking is not a style!. Thank you.
Spot on...

Martial was very poor today, I can't excuse his poor performance.

Daniel James was also shitty, only Mata was lively of the front 3.

Did anuone here notice that Bruno was coaching his team mates on the position to take when we had the ball? I saw him gesture to Wan-Bissaka to push forward on more than one occasion...

With Ighalo eligible for selection after the break, I suggest Martial be shunted out left whilst Ighalo plays as CF and Greenwood as an inverted RWF. Daniel James doesn't deserve to start just as Martial however, in lieu of our injury crisis, I'll rather have Martial especially with Ighalo taking a lot of the attention of him.

Larride I just went back to see you have highlighted the point I'm trying to make about Bruno coordinating his colleagues...

Pep Guardiola Spent £450 million in 18 months to overhaul that Manchester city squad after finishing trophyless in his first season. And that was when players value were still cheap and market was not that inflated. If it was now he would have spent £800 Milllion pounds to get the same quality of players at the current market rate. Considering how inflated the market is, I am not sure spending close to £200 Million in 6 Months, bringing in 4 players in different position is bad.

You still haven't answered my question, where is Paul Pogba best Position at MANCHESTER UNITED.

On the bolded, I have answered this before :
I have posted a few times after we lost a game. But, the band boys/rival fans makes it very hard to have a decent conversation after any defeat. Also, the overriding emotion of loosing a football match is so difficult for some people like you to take, all you hear is OLE out and that is tiring for me, instead of analyzing the actual game of football.
When did Pep join City? You're making it look like he made those signings a decade ago when in fact he made those signings barely 2-3 seasons ago. As much as you claim Pep also spends money, Laporte, Mendy, Walker (he had fallen out of favour due to the emergence of Trippier) were they for the taking, even if Man City were to sign them now, they wouldn't cost any penny more.

Ours is a case of poor administration on just about every front bar the business side of things. We over paid for Maguire and Wan-Bissaka, you can add James but because it's 15m, people don't seem to get bothered. If you doubt, compare the wages of players we parade to their contemporaries in other teams and you'll see just how incompetent the board has been...

I hope Pogba and McTom can recover quickly so we dont get to see Lingard and Pereira again.

---------------McTom/Fred--------------------

-----------Bruno-------------Pogba------------

A striker and RW is badly needed. Wont even mind if we end up selling Martial.
If we are not getting a RW, we should start with a midfield diamond of McTominay in the base Fred on the left, Pogba on the right and Fernandez at the top. The midfielders can rotate with Fred at the base and Pogba on the left whilst McTominay plays as the RCM.

In attack, since we are struggling to find consistency, we should go with Martial and Greenwood or Rashford and Martial when Rashford is fit. I am not counting on the club to complete any other deal even though the need for a RW and ST is glaring...

Daniel James might be converted to a wingback in the long run.

We lost the tie first half at Old Trafford. I am pretty happy with our performance today, we showed some resilience even though we rode our luck at times today.

Again, just like against Liverpool, Fred was by far the best player on that pitch today, where has this form been? I did not even see KDB today until he was subbed. Like i said earlier, Matic deserves One year contract extension, he has obviously been playing for his future and he has earned it now with his recent performances.

I hope the arrival of Bruno will galvanize that dressing room as we push for Top 4 finish. Please, Ed Woodward we need a striker. GGMU
Deserves one year extension after 3 good games? Are you Ed?

very good point...he weakened that Bayern team with his tactics...
He moved the best right back at the time Lahm to midfield and put a weaker player Rafinha in his position...
that was one of the most dumb decisions I've ever seen a manager make......
He wasted the peak years of that Bayern team......That squad could have won at least another CL.... imagine Klopp coaching that team
It's as bad as playing Martinez at CB when at the time, he was hands down the best DM in the world.

Pep is a brilliant manager but sometimes he tries to overdo things. The praises sometimes gets the better of him.

How do you know those were big chances? Do you know how a big chance is recorded?

Henderson has created 7 big chances this season. You mean 3 came in one match against Everton?
Elampiro, I watch most of Liverpool and City games, I see how much chances their strikers miss yet they end up scoring 2 - 3 goals. I don't need your stat sites to tell me what I see regularly.

Stop comparing world class Mane and Salah to upcoming Rashford and Martial. Those guys in Liverpool are Ballon D'or products.

Mane might miss big chances but go and check, he must have dribbled defenders to such position in most of the times, not necessarily due to pass.
Not true, in their match against Everton, he missed 3 big chances courtesy of through balls from Henderson.

So Dijk can pass better than Pogba?

How many tines last season and even in august this season that Pogba will make a long pass and Rashford first touch will take it sideways? So many through balls by James.

Passing also depends on who is capable of making use of it in a difficult situation
I am comparing Van Dijk passing ability with our CBs and not midfielders.

Thought balls by which James?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by patrickmuf(m): 8:28am On Jan 25, 2020
Larride, it is obvious Elampiro just want to argue. Liverpool's attacking play is a function of the unit collectively...Van Dijk with one pass can open up the opposition defense, we don't have that at United. Robertson and Arnold are a big part of their attacking play, we don't have that too.
Our midfield when fit can do a job but only our first choice, an injury to one or two of our preferred starters and our midfield is in ruins.

In attack, I want to believe that under the right set up, Rashford and Martial can be as productive as Mane and Salah maybe not exactly but they'd offer much more.
