ClintonNzedimma: Liverpool is beatable, you are forgetting we almost went unbeaten too. It will weigh them soon . Just watch. The guy you quoted didn't say Liverpool are unbeatable, he only noted that they are solid which is not debatable. At the moment, no other team has all their starter firing at top gear, even their bench players have shown they can come in and do a job. Talking about burnout, Klopp can field a midfield of Wijnaldum - Fabinho - Henderson if he decides, he can rest them and play Keita - Milner - Chamberlain...The second midfield option is just a level below the first in quality and it's even arguable. In defense, They have Matip, Van Dijk, Gomez and Lovren who can play CB with VVD being the only untouchable. Their fullbacks can be replaced by Milner and Gomez even though they're not quite as effective going forward but they are dependable in defense. In attack, Mane, Firmino and Salah are starters but then, Origi, Shaqiri and Lallana can come in and do a job. The thing going for them is not even the availability of personnel, but the fact that they have a working system that irrespective of personnel, they'd look dangerous. |

The National Assembly needs to review the constitution as soon as possible to clearly state the position of the local government.
The 3rd tier of government i.e. The local government shouldn't be at the mercy of the state government just as the state government is somewhat independent of the federal government. Away from the parochial outlook of many commenters, the state government have to respect duly elected local government officials.
I am certain if Buhari dissolves an elected state government, the same narrow minded folks hailing the governor of Oyo will call for his head but see them supporting an obviously wrong act here...We are our problem in this country. Whatever our leaders do, no matter how bad a policy is, you'll still find silly Nigerians supporting it. |

But una sabi who get fault for that e-gidigbo? Na Ed Woody and those Glazers. Dem don Dey mismanage this team since 2013, buying rubbish players and making management mistakes.
Squad is thin, squad is thin, everybody is injured, but Bruno Fernandes, wey go watch Man U v Liverpool from the stands, still Dey carry keke napep from Lisbon to Manchester.
“Ha, Harland is almost done. He spoke with Olé bla bla bla”. He just got a hatrkxk for Dortmund.
“We’re looking for one or two additions” but it’s January 20 and nobody is coming in.
Una see the fvckery at this club? I blame Olé, I blame Ed, I blame the board, I blame the Glazers, I blame the medical team, the physios and I won’t exclude the useless bunch we parade as players on the pitch- except Greenwood and other youngies.
What United needs is a revolution. I think the board has actually tried when it comes to funding transfers however, they have gotten it wrong in two aspects; 1. No long term strategic plan. It is because of this that we conveniently moved from Fergie (Who was good at adjusting the team to suite the demands of the game) to Moyes who believes in long balls then to Van Gaal who is a possession based coach and then to Mourinho who is a defensive/counter attacking coach and now, to Ole who rather surrenders possession so his team can counter. Our decision on who to appoint as coach shouldn't just be based on which big name is available but the pattern of play we want to adopt in the long run. 2. Wages of players. We are finding it difficult to offload players who are surplus to requirement because eof their high wages. They're way too many average players here earning far above what their talents should originally fetch them if they played for any of our rivals. Imagine if Martial, Rashford, Shaw, Maguire and the likes were earning between £50,000 - 80,000 weekly, they'd have worked harder to get to the level where they can confidently negotiate an increment but that's not the case now, Martial is playing like Martial but EARNING Mbappe level wages, just as Maguire is serving us trash but earning Van Dijk level wages. Even if it were you, you won't see the need to put in more effort... We need football men running the footballing side of things in the club. I can't support the call for Ed Woodward to be sacked completely because on the business side, he's done a fantastic job but he has to leave the football side to someone more experienced and grounded in the operation of a football club... Meanwhile, where is Darmian? |

Please can we resolve this for once. Pereira/Lingard/Mata are playing in the numbet 10. The 'hole'position is not a central.midfield function. It is a forward role with main responsibility to create chances and linking play with left winger, right winger and the striker.
I have some screenshots for you to understand. With this our arguments can be easier. Pereira when attacking is an added body forward but in a defensive shape, he drops back into midfield. In the pictures you displayed, Pereira is an AMF whose responsibility is to link the midfield and attack, he is primarily a midfielder with freedom to join the attack. That he has that freedom doesn't mean he is an attacker... |

spillo1: LMFAO....Midfield is the most important part of the pitch for any team. Doesn't matter how good your attackers or defenders are, if you can't control the middle of the pitch you won't win consistently.
And Liverpools midfield is the epitome of consistent domination at the moment. They are so well drilled, so intelligent and fit. There was a moment towards the end where Henderson and Gini both sprinted the length of the pitch to counter attack, they were both the furthest back and then the furthest forward in like the 80th minute. I hope I am wrong but I see Liverpool burning out by next season. Burnout? Klopp has gone about rotating the team well especially in midfield. Only a poor recruitment policy when their star players start aging will stop this Liverpool side because they're primed to dominate for a while. Another possibility could be the likes of PSG, Madrid and Barcelona aggressively pursuing their key players in the process acquiring 2-3 of them. |

Fred was our best player. Matic should be third or fourth.
Our best chance was missed by Pereira which was creates by Bissaka. The second best chance was missed by Martial. You do know that it was Martial who picked out Wan-Bissaka, right? Pereira in that game was a midfielder, the most advanced of the midfield 3. |

Do you remember how good Oshea looked in oit midfield? Even Phil Jones in midfeld behind Rooney, Berbertov and Chicha? Liverpool main Asset is the attack. The defence is very good too. But forget midfield.

Hehehe our argument then was hinged on the fact that whilst some of us argued that our supporting cast citing our midfield and defense was poor, you consistently argued that they were not as poor whilst hailing Liverpool's attack. While the game was on, I watched how Liverpool's midfield joined their attack in the press and how their fullbacks especially Robertson exposed the obvious weakness in our set up...Funny enough, the much maligned Martial was our most creative player on the pitch. |

Meanwhile, Margaret sorry Maguire When I talk Elampsbaba go say na Liverpool front 3 be their biggest force. VVD go open the opposition defense with just one long pass but our defenders no sabi at all. Nothing annoys me like when Maguire, Lindelof, Shaw, Wan-Bissaka and Matic just keep passing the ball around with all manner of laxity even when we are a goal down. Only Fred moves the ball forward with purpose that's why I don't blame our strikers. |

afrodoc2: There was a time Greenwood and AWB were free with acres of space on the right wing and the ball was on our left flank. It took Fred, Matic and i believe it was Maguire about 20 touches and 5 passes to get it to the right side, and of course by that time the space had been closed down.
Anybody hoping for Top 4 is building castles in the air. That's why I think Pogba or a player with his ability is still needed, imagine if we had Pogba with the ball in the same position James had the ball bug couldn't locate the run of Martial because of his poor passing skills. Liverpool for all their great play left spaces we could have profited from if the quality and approach was right. |
