Where can one obtain loan using car as collateral? DAramis: Alternatively, instead of selling that car at a loss, why don't you use it as collateral and obtain loan. Sort out the visa stuff, and return part of the money to the person while you sort out the remaining balance gradually.
It is a win win situation I think. |

Please I need advice.
A friend of my wife living in the UK, promised to secure a health care job for her(COS),which she had done for someone already.
My issue is with the funds to finance the whole process.
My question is that if she can provide the COS, will it be a wise decision for me to sell my car to finance the Visa application.
My fear is being denied Visa after going head long.
I want someone to confirm to me if getting COS guarantees getting the Visa. |

Career › Re: Why Don't Mechanical Engineer Graduates Set Up Mechanic Shops? Part 2 by paulavon: 7:15pm On Feb 14, 2022 |
I believe this question was asked out of limited information. I graduated as a mechanical engineer over 15 yrs ago, during my 5yrs study we never did any course on Automobile. Mechanical engineering is a very wide course of study, Automobile and Aeronautical engineering are amongst the least aspect of Mechanical engineering.
There is thermodynamics, Fluid mechanics, heat transfer, mechine design, strength of materials, materials engineering, maintenance, built engineering, Refrigeration and air-conditioning, control engineering, production engineering, etc.
So you can see that there are a lot of more important branches of mechanical engineering with wide industrial applications than to narrow someone to set up a workshop for car repairs.
It is not an issue of pride or lack of knowledge, mechanical engineering is beyond what you think. |

Ixbet is a shady company, those still placing bets with them or seeing nothing wrong with their antics have not really seen their bad side.
They are not happy seeing you winning.when they flagged my account with my funds trapped in it,I went through a difficult time trying to provide all the necessary documents to satisfy their security department. Those guys are Russian mafias, very heartless. After they lifted the ban on my account I just withdrew my money and close the account. So far I have been using Melbet and betking, I prefer Melbet though, they have good betting options and once you make withdrawal you get credited in less than 3mins. |
Family › Re: Husbands, Never Force Your Wives To Split Bills by paulavon: 6:24am On Nov 08, 2021 |
Marriage involves shared responsibilities. Both parties must contribute to the union to make it work.
An average man feels proud and happy to see his wife takes up some little bills and responsibilities here and there without being told.
Citing examples of billionaires like Dangote and Otedola in this discuss doesn't really hold water.Every man must not have the kind of money they do in other to have a decent and responsible home. A man paying 100% of the bills doesn't translate to a happy home.
The sad reality is that, any woman who wants to have this entitled and feministic mentality of subjecting the man to foot 100% of the bills in the home will quickly wears the man off and ends up a widow. |

You are a good man..respect NetValueFX: I don't know what any alcoholic brand taste like and neither was I womaniser before I married. It's all about choices and concepts, and I was a very normal person. People tend to make you feel unworthy if you are not like them. I made sure that any woman that drinks has nothing to do with me. |

Thanks for the nice message trevorhorace: Bro you are on the right track. Don't get influenced by peer pressure. Be happy that your kind is rare. The society and world we live in is already dead in immorality and anomalies. So seeing someone who is still normal would normally spark outrage in the multitudes of abnormal people.
You are living a clean healthy life and that's class. |

Your message made a lot of sense. It is difficult for me to understand from the perspective of someone who does things that puts him at risks. I don't like night life,I like to do things during the day. I drink only one bottle of beer so that I can have control over my speech and actions. I can never be restless, I can stay indoor morning till night as long as there is light and my phone is up. I have a son who can't stay in one place for long, he likes taking risks even if he gets beaten for it.Your message just made me to accept him for who he is. SeriouslySense: You have a very functional and normal Life, which I may add, has further potentials and it seems you know it. And you are lucky, in the sense that, you don't have urges that make you deviate from a stable schedule.
Some people like more risks, their brains are wired differently, due to genetics, and early childhood, they are preoccupied with some, should i say addictions, like looking for hookups, desire to be drunk, or drugs.
Those activities put one at risk and danger.
For example. 1) Psychopaths need the thrills, they are easily bored, and want something dangerous. 2) Some just want to have so much fun, without control. 3) Some love adventure, want to keep exploring without it they become restless.
You are lucky in the sense that,
1) You don't smoke, which is healthy for the lungs. 2) You are more at home, which is good for your family. 3) You listen to educative programmes, which means, you are adding wisdom to yourself and will keep growing wise. 4)You study, which means you are growing and you will grow, where you study. 5) You take care of your family, which means, you are bringing up a responsible generation ahead and possibly will have a significant impact on your family. 6) You watch soccer, you need relaxation, you need your time, you need to let go of all responsibility and just pause, forget, so you can come back stronger, so yes, you have made time for relaxation I believe.
So their opinions are really not adding any value here unless they suggested something that will bring more harmony to you. |

I don't judge anyone or look at anyone as bad. My best friend doesn't drink alcohol at all or smoke but he womanizes. I have another close friend who likes to drink and womanise but he doesn't smoke. When we go out he will mock me for drinking only one bottle and call me a woman. I won't even mind him. Falconx47: You're very normal, so long as your reason for not indulging are based on your principles and you respect the choices of those who do without prejudice. Saying a "man" must do any of those things is awful falsehood, but remember not indulging in them doesn't necessarily make you a better person, nor should it be worn like a badge of honour. |

I respect knowledge and intelligence more than money. A fool with money will not go far in life. Fatalveli: Means you will continued to be ruled over.
The money aspect is highly important, because money equates status which in turn equates power.

We all need money and I hustle to make mine. When I said I don't crave for it; it's not something I can betray a friend for, lie or steal just to make it. babtoundey: Craving for money is not a social vices. How you go about satisfying your craves is what you can term positive or negative.
It is normal not to womanize, drink, smoke or engage in all those nonsense people tag actions in vogue. I don't do any of those and I never for once felt abnormal. What I consider abnormal in your own case is not "craving for money" in this Nigeria economy. Unless you have more than enough to satisfy your present and future needs, not craving for money makes you weird. |

I use my time to study, work, listen to educative programs on TV and radio, watch soccer and take care of my family. SeriouslySense: It is obvious, no one needs to tell you, they are abnormal for thinking you are abnormal because you are not craving for what they crave for, in fact, you are even lucky because you are not occupied trying to satisfy those urges. It means you can use your time for perhaps something more productive.
Those are just social constructs, not a necessity.
As long as you have satisfaction in something creative, and you have found creative outlets of expression where you are happy and relaxed, or where you develop ideas and grow. Then you are not missing out, really, because you are making maximum use of your time and have satisfaction. |

You have spoken well, thanks mariahAngel: Don’t let it bother you. Your personalities (yours and hers) simply don’t match and that’s it. You don’t have to roll with people that do not make you feel good (you’ll recognize the vibe). Just minimize relating with them, or you cut them off for the sake of your happiness. Identify the people your vibe matches with theirs and roll with them. Be more intentional with your happiness. |

I was even attacked the most by the lady. She said I should go and check myself, that something was wrong with me. I am not a righteous person, I have friends who drink, smoke and womanise but I just don't get involved. I have been reflecting on her comments and I felt the need to seek for other opinions to know if I am normal. AmazonTopaz: That is a beer parlour gist, you are very normal many of the people that say this are close minded and use this as an excuse or reason for them to do what they do.
I have seen men who don't fall in any of those categories and they are not abnormal if that is an abnormality to them it is time we start normalising it. |

Thanks for your words of encouragement Righteousness2: That's the Crazy, Decaying, Abominable and Sinking World we Live in today.
A World were Good is Called Evil and Evil is Called Good. That's the Spirit of the Endtimes that has Engulfed the World Inhabitants.
The Fact that Majority or Everyone decides to do evil does not make Evil right.
Wherever you are, Stand out From the Crowd. Stand For Righteousness! Stand For Holiness! Stand For JESUS Christ! JESUS is Coming! And HE will take those who stand boldly for HIM.
