He made this appeal in a live video with an Ibadan-based cleric, Agbala Daniel on Facebook which was shared on Tiktok on Sunday.

Hello guys, too many dishonest peeps in this city meen. A guy told me Compact Plus subscription is #18,700 and to get the Premium, I need to add something ontop. I was confused and had to check the DSTV website and call their customer care line, only to see the premium package a s #18,400! I went further to check nairaland threads, and it was the same price I found there.

So the idiot wanted to sell me the compact plus for the price of the premium package. I confronted the guy with my findings, and the fool kept arguing with me, trying to convince me otherwise.

Why is it impossible for Nigerians to just be straightforward in their dealings? Would they die if they do so? Now this fool would lose a potential customer, all because of his stupid greed...

I owned Honda Civic 2008 and a corrola drivetrain based Pontiac vibe ... This is how I would summarizes my experience

Corolla: a car u pay higher amount for just so you can enjoy it easy to abuse benefits (20w50 oil, China parts, late oil change etc), an illusion of the best fuel economy and to please your neighbors would belive you made the best car purchase
decision, while compromising on other qualities, that makes a complete car.


Civic: a car with better fuel efficiency , almost as durable as corrola if you stick to manufacturers maintainace and fluid, 30% cheaper {I saved 300k on my civic compare to corolla up till now I for never used the money repair the car or buy fuel finish }, no leg pull {many people think it uses the same double wishbone suspension like accords} and better handling, colder ac, fancier interior
I bought a Nigerian used 08 civic. I can proudly beat my chest to say that is the best decision i have made in a long time. First body except for bumpers, the price is far cheaper than a Naija used Corolla.,

So sorry I’m just seeing this.

I’ve used my civic for almost 3 years now... trust me... it’s was the best decision ever.
I enjoyed every ride with that car... super reliable... rugged, fuel efficient, low maintenance cost... super perfect car.

I even relocated from my very perfectly road networked city to the crazy Lagos about 2 years ago (2017) and I drove down severally from the south to Lagos (8 hours min on the road) and my civic always delivered perfectly.

I’ve been using the car to and fro work daily for the past 2 years in Lagos, and it never failed me... except for pretty minor issues and obviously routine maintenance (which must be imbibed as a habit).

Fortunately and/or unfortunately, I got myself another car recently and seriously thinking of disposing my super Honda Civic.

Initially considered putting it up for ehailing (uber/taxify), but I’m not sure I’ll have time to monitor the driver and go through all that stress... so I might have to sell it off soon.

I’ve been so reluctant on a decision for a while now... but I’m certain I’ll be disposing this week.

So if you get a decent civic 06-08, trust me, you’ll enjoy it even better than the corolla 03-06... because of its beautiful interior, prestigious design (comparing with the corolla), and super performance.

Why you wan dispose the civic? I don't buy that "you got another ride" story. No one ever sells a car they really love. Some would even keep it as antiques sef...
