Thanks for enlightening these people. You're not a Christian just because you go to church on Sundays. Christ didn't ask any Christian to defend him by killing his fellow human. What they don't know is that lot of the so called Christians would be rejected by Christ on the day of recorny. I'm not to exchange words with any muslim here, but to let them know some facts they've never heard of.

You're close to been very correct. But I wonder how the Yoruba Muslims do theirs that they don't have problems with the Yoruba Christians. And not that they're the minority, but like Half of the Yoruba and the other half are christians. Is it that the Quran they read is different from other Muslims in the world or it's just their culture undecided

karpentar: What's your point. Are you saying akingbola is not a thief? or are you suggesting that even if he's a thief, he should not be prosecuted just because sanusi has beef with him? what's just your point? I don't know how people reason on this forum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Read his post again, he didn't say the guy is not a thief. He's a thief and anything worse than selling his properties should be done to him. But the beef of Akigbola by Sanusi shouldn't be overlooked, is Akigbola the worse thief we have? Or are there no worse thieves all around the country that Sanusi pretend not to see their evil acts? Let's stop been bias and be truthful sometimes. I not defending Akingbola with this, he should even be behind bars for the rest of his life after his properties has been sold.

Politics › Ondo Guber Election: PDP Alleges Illegal Voters’ Registration By LP by PaulJohn1(op): 2:44am On Jul 28, 2012
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State yesterday exposed an alleged plot by the ruling Labour Party (LP) to rig the October governorship election in the state.

The PDP accused Governor Olusegun Mimiko’s party of conducting an illegal registration of voters at Government House,Akure with a view to giving it an undue advantage at the polls.

A similar exercise,he added, is ongoing in several government offices, including the Water Corporation headquarters, Akure and other parts of the state.

The PDP Chairman, Mr. Ebenezer Alabi, exposed the plot at a press conference in Akure. He showed reporters photographs and video clips of the said registration.

The state government, Mr Alabi said, procured 20 secured finger-print scanners, Model AET 63, at the rate of N265,569 per unit for the project. They were shipped into the country last month, he said.

Politics › $300,000 Capital Base: Ghana Soft-pedals by PaulJohn1(op): 2:12am On Jul 28, 2012
There are strong indications that Ghanaian authorities have soft-pedalled on the demand that businesses outfits produce $300,000 as capital before operating in Ghana.

SATURDAY PUNCH gathered in Abuja on Thursday that this followed mediation by some members of the Economic Community of West African States.

The member states drew the attention of Ghanaian authorities to existing ECOWAS protocols on the movement of goods and persons within the sub-region. A hint about the new state of affairs was dropped by the Chairman, House of representatives Committee on Diaspora; Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, at a dinner organised by the Nigeria Diaspora Alumni Network, in Abuja, on Wednesday night.

Dabiri-Erewa recalled that Nigeria sought the intervention of ECOWAS and the commission was able to intervene positively towards resolving the issue.

She said, “When the Ghanaians asked foreign businesses to leave, we knew they were targeting Nigerians, and then they asked for a $300,000 capital base.

“We took the matter to ECOWAS and now Ghana has again said we are all brothers, but there are some laws that have to be followed such as those concerning registration of businesses.”

A formal announcement on the cessation of hostilities is expected soon.

Jokes Etc › President Jonathan Asked By Mark Zuckergerg To Quit Facebook by PaulJohn1(op):
The CEO & Founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg has asked Nigeria’s President, Goodluck Jonathan to move his Facebook fanpage to either Myspace or Friendster, despite having over 700,000 fans on the world’s most popular social network.

In the video released recently, The President was seen in his office at the Villa opening his facebookpage only to discover about 32,000 curses placed on his wall.

Mr President: “Na-wa-ooo…why are these people just swearing curse on my page na?”

Mr President Contd: “Mark, my good friend”, but was cut short by an angry Mark Zuckerberg on the other half of the screen.

Mark Zuckerberg: “Sir, sir, I need you to move your page off Facebook, demanded Zuckerberg,“You can take it to Myspace,

Friendster…anywhere dude, just move it bro!”

Mr President: “But why?”

Mark Zuckerberg: “Like dude, the heavy curses on your page are melting our servers mehn! I don’t know what you did to piss those people off, but it’s totally uncool, bro.”

Mr President: “But, I like Facebook”

VERY FUNNY

edicolove: Have you seen any CPC or ACN legislator that refused his/share? If they are strong enough to determine who emerged as speaker and strong enough to start an impeachment campaign, why are they not strong enough to start a salary reduction or anti wastage campaign? Hmmm
How do you expect them to refuse it? when they're all thieves.
But there is a question that is always bothering my mind, which is: "if any of us criticizing these corrupt leaders of ours today, happened to be in their position one day, are we not going to do something worse that what they're into now?

I'm sure two or more of these thieves would have said more than we're saying now before they got into power, but couldn't resist the urge when they got there.
no. this is a bad idea.
No, it's not a bad idea. China did the same some years back, and it's helping them big time. In the world today if I am not wrong, China is like the only country that can stand on it's own any time any day without any importation from any country. When China alone as a country could do this, where not Africa as a whole? It's painful that African leaders are not smart enough to see this.

basher: Instead of you guys to sympathize with the unfortunate family & ponder what would lead siblings to act in such a way, you are busy stupidly peddling tribalism. How does it help matters or improve the society we live in? All this tit for tat is pointless & futile because if you look hard enough you'll find atrocities from Igbos, Yorubas & other tribes. However, we all live in the same society and should put heads together yo solve societal problems.

If I were president of Nigeria, acts of tribal hate would attract a mandatory 10yr prison sentence angry

Obiagu1: Give an instance of Igbo, with link, killing siblings or parents for money. Igbos don't do that but Yorubas do.
Forget hatred and jealousy influenced stereotype.
My man this is not about being tribalistic, but i've got to say this. WE all know different evil acts and the group of people that they are peculiar to in this country, so lets stop painting one group saint and the other as bad (as you did in your earlier post). That my post you quoted is to tell you no group is saint.

And I've got no time to be searching for link or post to show where Igbo kill for money, we all know it's rampant. So stop the cover up, No tribe is saint.

NB: I'm not defending that act.
