victorels:I mean farms outside the school, how do students acquire practical knowledge if they do not interact with the local farmers? |
victorels:Am in no way absolving the government at all level from blame but saying the universities are just hearing the news like we are doing now and they had no knowledge of it prior to this total loss proves that they are disconnected from their surrounding communities or don't the faculty and students in the department of Agric Extension department go on field study? |
victorels:BBC reported about the trip yesterday. Even if the universities were not consulted, shouldn't they have boldly told Nigerians they have the solutions to checkmate the menace? Last week here in Nairobi, l watched on TV some Professors discussing issues around vegetable farming and packaging and they made reference to what Nigeria is going through regarding tomatoes and how it could be controlled using tested methods. Since am not in Nigeria, are there suggestions made to arrest the situation that was ignored? |
Tall ladies around her. |
Audu Ogbeh has made no impact on the sector despite being a farmer himself! ![]() For El-Rufai to send over his officials to come over to Kenya to get the solution to the crisis, which is so readily available here in Kenya, is an indictment on our Research institutes and Faculties of Agriculture! ![]() |
The Governor should look into their plight as the state ranks lowest in the South east in terms of human capital development. |

Mr Maigar was reported as saying officials from the ministry of agriculture have gone to Kenya to meet experts on the Tomato Leaf Miner......This is an indictment of our many Schools and faculties of Agriculture! |
What was really binding PDP all these years? |
The owner is not ashamed of her identity! ![]() |

Confronting fear of conflict can go a long way in minimizing the possibility of one arising. The armed herdsmen will certainly have something to think about. All l want is that the hunters be properly co-ordinated. |
I hope the Senate and Bayelsa State Government have keyed into made-in-Naija @innosonmotors #BuyNaijaToGrowTheNaira as charity begins at home. |

PDP drama is even helping the APC government in distracting some Nigerians from the fuel and electricity issues.....what an opposition! |
Is there no "world class hospital" in Nigeria to treat him? |
Thank God! |
Sijo01:Noted. Though the human mind is wired to reason but also very fragile and when it snaps, things one hitherto regarded as darkness will become "light"! We daily live by God's grace. |
No one has a monopoly of violence. |
