modath:l so much agree with you because the system has been hitherto bastardized. |
A mistake from the person that did the banner but how come none of the members notice the mistake or were they too broke to ask for another one?Though we as a people have a problem with details as everything goes! ![]() |
'According to him, the PDP lost power as a result of complacency on the part of its leadership organs'....Never take the people for granted. |
These are just the ones reported. As long as rape is bailable it will continue. ![]() |
Chubhie:This is for an unfurnished apartment in Nairobi and also with that same amount one can get a one bedroom flat in some neighbourhood and a two bedroom flat in some other Kenyan cities. If one chooses to pay one year rent upfront, the management of the property would be very willing to collect it but why pay that when one can pay monthly and use the remaining money to invest in his business as the profit from it should cover the monthly. One can even get a room in a face me-l-face you property for N4,000 monthly. The essence of my earlier post is that our system forces our youths to have to wait till they save enough for annual payment of rent before thinking of living independently. |
Many Nigerians who are through with their university/polytechnic education and NYSC are still dependent on their family for food and shelter, which is pathetic. Can such a person be bold enough to call him or herself an adult? Like l was discussing with my brother yesterday, that it is extremely difficult for a young person to start out life in Nigeria. That even Kenya we are far richer than has a system that simplifies things for people. Rent payment is monthly, one can get a bedsitter (a room with a kitchen and toilet/shower ensuite) for N15k monthly. To move in, one needs to pay one month rent and one month deposit and one gets the key of the place! Buy a mattress and a stove.....life have begun! Should one's financial situation improve within that month and wants to move into a bigger space as long as there are no damages in the apartment, the landlord refunds the deposit! If this system is obtainable in Nigeria, we will become independent earlier in life. |
Let them pay what they owe. |
While he is eager to build schools in the North! ![]() |
There is no champion forever.....everything in life is transient except God. |
He was lucky many Nigerians were not on social media during his presidency! |
“We know that if any region is to make such call, it should have been from the North East due to the ruin the region has witnessed in the last four years''......Who ruined North East? Is it not their children who they refused to educate or are the insurgents. southerners? If the North East calls for secession, will be very glad to let them go and withdraw military presence from the region and allow Boko Haram boys who happen to be their sons to make minced meat out of them! It will be cheaper for us if they secede! |
jumobi1:I totally agree with you. |
gaussy:I guess it is but can you upload the picture of a fresh one showing the green and yellow parts as the one you uploaded has withered.. |
Fashola really impressed. |
I am not even focusing on the corruption charges against him rather l would focus what affects each one of us-health care. Alamieyeseigha was the governor of his home state for 6 years and with the billions accruing to the state as revenue why didn't he consider it important to provide quality health care system for his people which subsequent governors after him from GEJ, Timipre Sylva to Dickson should have consolidated upon, one can imagine the countless lives lost to avoidable deaths because for every single kobo misappropriated, a health centre somewhere has no basic provision. Does the life of a poor Nigerian who can not afford to travel to Dubai to access health care for the same ailment Alamieyeseigha suffered, not count? No life is more precious than the other before our Creator. Just like in other states across the Country, dilapidated health facilities is what overwhelming majority of Nigerians are resigned to on a daily basis. This is way beyond partisan politics because how we take care of the vulnerable among us determines our own humanity. |
No reason given. |
Nice one, when you are good, you are good! ![]() |
Wife When did he get married? |
onodumos:Nice concept. |
So sad. |
This is good. |
Dying for no cause! |
Crazy beings! |
6 months is too short for putting many lives at risk! |
Didn't get to watch. ![]() |
Living with a man who has not paid your bride price for 13yrs! ![]() Were they ever married that they are seeking for a divorce? Well in many Igbo communities as long as the man did not pay the woman's bride price he has no paternal rights over the children! |
Thanking God on his behalf. |
Hmm... Ekiti and Akwa ibom are not equal revenue-wise! Residents of a State do not feel good from a befitting Government House rather from befitting schools. befitting hospitals and health centres, befitting roads etc. |
He is reading. |
It was expected. Amaechi is more like a man whose kinsmen has refused to go with him to his intended wife's family to ask her hand in marriage! One person no dey marry wife! ![]() |
l renewed my passport for N27,000 at the Nigerian High Commission, Nairobi Kenya though l got it same day but what baffles me is how we are always told to go and do photocopies of documents outside the High Commission which is located within a highbrow neighbourhood, if you do not have a car, it is a 20mins trek to the nearest photocopying centre then another 20 mins trek back to the High Commission. Their photocopying machine is perpetually out of service or it is a case of sheer wickedness! l remember meeting a Nigerian who came from Tanzania to renew his passport, immediately he got his new passport, he began to mock the officials over the stress of photocopying, that since Nigeria is so poor as not to have a functional photocopying machine that he can easily donate one! It is a shame more so when one sees the state of the art cars driven by the Nigerian officials! ![]() |
