PapaBrowne: In my estate in Lekki I pay average N60,000 monthly and we get 24hrs light. I run 5 air conditioners very regularly and a couple other appliances.
I also operate outside of Lagos and have residence in my base of operation. Here I use a private generator. The average consumption on 6 hrs usage is about 15 litres =Average 2200. I also get an average of 8 hrs light daily. In total my power consumption a month for 14 hrs light daily comes up to approximately 90,000 Naira and I can bare run 2 Air conditioners on that.
I tell you those guys might actually be better off paying that amount than running their own generators, Why not opt for solar instead and save some serious cash? |

slex: PSG had like 2 legitimate claims for handball in the box(penalty) Was not given.
But, PSG dont have an excuse at all.
How on earth can u beat a team 4-0 ( no away goal conceded oooo)
Then, lose 6-1 ( 3 goals scored in 7 mins 88th,90th and 94th) were they sleeping??
When inter milan beat barce 3-1 and the return leg enede 1-0 to barcelona nko?
PSG na mumu team abeg How come people only remember the 2 hand ball incidents against Barca, but no body remembers the over 3 hand ball incidents committed by PSG players. At least I remember 2 of those...Messi's second free kick (for a sec, I tot that guy was playing volleyball or basketball), and the handball claim by Suarez. |
Sports › Re: Barca Vs PSG ; Was The Match Fixed? by pavy(m): 12:25am On Mar 10, 2017 |
felixomor: The suspicious points in the match I clearly noticed
1.The first two goals were clear gifts The defenders seemed to have intentionally be casual A psg defender virtually escorted the 2nd goal And the defender didnt even show desire to pick the ball from the net with just 2 goals down
2. Handballs by Pique and Mascherano clear penalties overlooked
3. Diving by Neymar ( can be debatable) and Suarez (very clear) awarded as penalties Even the referee had to be forced by linesman and players to give that penalty
4. Foul on Dimaria which should be pk overlooked also
5. Referee waited for the 5th goal to be scored before announcing added on time of 5 minutes The whole time spent on stoppage in that game was not more than 3 mins Added on time was announced at almost 92 minutes...
Many more.
Anyways, congrats to Barcelona. You forgot to mention that the penalty was awarded almost 90mins on the clock. It took almost 2 mins for the teams to argue, take the penalty and restart the game. When the game restarted the time was 91mins 51 seconds. Since UEFA usually adds 3mins to its games, hence the 5 mins to cover for the already spent 2mins. In essence, the actual time added and used in that match was exactly 3 minutes. : |

chidesco2: asssholes everywhere! you watch a match and yet u r too blind to see. did match fixing cause the own goal. did match fixing score a free kick from a tight angle. what happened yesterday was Determination to win. Pure determination. psg came to play defensive game thinking 4-0 was safe enough. between the high pressing, lackadaisical attitude of psg forwarders, intimidating atmosphere of the Nou Camp and one hell of a coaching job executed well. C'Mon! they were bound to Crack. and we punished them for it severely If I get to give out just a thousand likes every month, you'll get all my likes for this month |

TRIXIA: At last somebody is thinking. If we critically watch that match i think it was fixed.......PSG players were not attacking, they didnt want to score, it was too obvious. UEFA is a business. They make more money with an EL - CLASSICO than any other. There was this year, i cant recall now....it was Bayern and one other club......UEFA didnt make money. Its all about the money, it is business, its called entertainment. Cavani could have scored, Di Maria could have scored or passed but played it quite reluctantly. They would be compensated believe me. Its all a propaganda Soccer is fun but highly flawed I have no idea what you mean by UEFA don't make money if it isn't a classico. For starters, how many UCL classico matches have we had? does it mean that all other UCL matches results in a shortage for UEFA? haba! FYI, the venue for every final match is fixed before the beginning of any UCL season, and the events are usually sold out whether it is Barca or not. Finally, sponsors of the UCL identify with the brand before the start of the season. Therefore, UEFA has an idea of its income from sponsors even before the season kicks off. Its not like sponsors wait to see what teams make it to the Quarters or semis before they start throwing money into the tournament. Bottom line: pls don't just post trash online out of bias, sentiment and frustration just because you have the means to, Google is your friend, check for facts before posting...I know that badbelle is allowed in Nigeria, but my broda, abeg na hu e epp? |

Sufisunni: Was beating Barca 4-0 fixed? If yes, then Barca overturning 6-1 is fixed. But dont forget Madrid did overturn 3-0 last season or so. Madrid overturned a 2-0 defeat from the first leg of the UCL quarter final tie against Wolfsburg by winning the return leg by 3-0 |

kabrud: Being poor doesn't mean Bubu can't meet up his financial requirements. Remember, he is entitled to robust pension and many other benefits as a past head of states. What it means is that as a past head of states, former minister of petroleum, former PTF chairman, he is not as wealthy as even a past one-term state governor. Imagine, as a former minister of petroleum, he doesn't own even a filling station when others in less capacities are talking of oil blocs. If Bubu is actually financially buoyant as some people are trying to assume, what exactly do they mean by; his presidential campaign was sponsored by Ahmed Tinubu? If he is that rich, pls where has he hidden this wealth that up till now, it can't be identified? Note; he is over 74, and while the young MAY die, the old MUST die and Bubu is aware of that. (I don't subscribe to all those beer parlour gists about his wealth)
On certificate, everyone is just making noise over nothing. Prior to election, the then ruling party raised this observation and Bubu clearly explained everything concerning his certificate and a press conference was even organised in which he presented his credentials. If PDP wasn't satisfied with his claims, it had all the sufficient machinery to verify such claims and I'm sure necessary verification exercise must have been conducted, which explains the silence from the party. All these other noise about his certificate are being made by illiterates who know nothing about the system of institutionalised academic certificate. Certificate presentation doesn't just end in the paper presented, those certifications are verified at the awarding institutions, not to talk of this one that generated serious controversy. Congrats! You manage to talk about everything except the issues I raised in the post you quoted. Nice one. |

kabrud: And that is the administration wailers are praying for, day and night because rice was cheap. That administration was just a time bomb, but God intervened because of innocent Nigerians. As sarrki rightly said, criminals should never be allowed to lead this country again. And how is this administration different? I bet u this man was only arrested because his name is a "Gabriel" and not a "Mohammad". The supposedly corrupt free PMB was alleged to have offered a bribe to a judge handling his case...same man who claimed he didn't have money to buy party presidential ticket but had two kids in schools abroad. Pls don't get me wrong, I'm not a PDP or APC sympathizer, I'm simply after the general welfare of our beloved fatherland...in my eyes, all current politicians are all the same...THEY ARE ALL CORRUPT! |

maclatunji: 2face is too uninformed to understand that in the process of moving Nigeria from a corruption to production based economy in a globally depressed economy, the hardship will be biting and harsh. We reached the highest heights of depraved corruption under GEJ and it is only a myopic inept thinker that would think we would just walk away from that without serious consequences. Did I hear u say production based economy? Pls enlighten me, what serious efforts have this administration made in that respect? Power is still myopic (even worse than ever), factories are relocating, workers are losing jobs on a daily basis. Even the most obvious n fundamental aspects of our production; our refineries and Ajaokwuta steel are left in a moribund state. If this govt was truly sincere, why is it so hard to refine our crude oil locally? After all, the GEJ admin revamped the refineries, a fact this govt didn't dispute. So what is stopping them from refining locally, instead of wasting foreign exchange settling importers. Or is refining such a rocket science that we can't do ourselves. Even the creeks of the Niger-Delta are littered with "illegal refineries". That should tell u that this govt is not different from the last, nor is it different from the rest. They are all the same, with hidden agenda, intent upon holding the entire country to ransom for the gain of a few. If u must know, the only thing that has blossomed since this govt came in is "shoprite"...which means consumption. So instead of producing, we are made to consume more, other country's gabage. |
