nairalanda1:Covenant university and other private universities that Tuition fees are not subsidized and they are collecting as much N1.5m ,have they reach Cambridge standard all these while? You see, it's not about the subsidy, it's about the wickedness of Nigerians. There are countries out there that their governments still subsidize education for their poor citizens, yet it does not change the standard. |
Michael547:

Michael547:John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. |
Puss360:At the end their economy is better. But in Nigeria, it seems the more the trip the worst our economy

Okite15:You have the option not to comment at all if you do not understand what the op is saying |
Majesty7:God bless you |
membranus:just give up, you don't have any point to make in your argument Goodluck to you, but never try to commit suicide.i didn't say i was going to do that, did I ? For it is also written " Thou shalt not kill",that is what i preach too. Thou shall not kill or commit suicide Whatsoever is pressing anybody to think of committing suicide, a Christian should tell it to Jesus, He is more than capable of providing solution to it.I also tell people the same too There is no redemption for any Christian that intentionally committed suicideLies! You didn't get that from the bible, it's all false assumption from how you feel. Yes it is good to discourage people from committing suicide. But don't tell people what God didn't ask you to tell people , as there was none for Judas who intentionally hanged himself for shame.Judas lost it not because he committed suicide but because he didn't believe |
This is not in anyway to condone sin. But as Christians, we all know that unbelievers go to hellfire when they die in their sin because no Grace for them. Another gospel of Grace teaches that a believer will also go to hellfire when he or she die in their sin. The question now is, where is then the Grace? It's like these people love contradiction so much ![]() |
Pimine:some people have already understood the concept here ![]() Focus on discipling willing believers around you. There is no point arguing. These things are revealed.saying what has been revealed isn't bad |
4tomandchi:Judas was never a believer but a betrayer of the believers that's why he was condemned to hell fire. Not necessarily because he commited suicide. Well, if you say that if he didn't kill himself but stay alive and truly accept Christ he wouldn't have been condemned to hell fire ![]() Suicide is not an option no matter how big your sins are even if they’re deep like scarlet the father says come to me and I will wash you clean like wool.God bless you for this |
otherway:God will bless you. God is merciful |
membranus:Wrong! You ignored where i said suicide is a sin and conclude wrongly I did not condemn suicide in the post does not mean that i encourage it which is the belief that once you are saved, heaven is sure for youThis is not the meaning of antinomianism. Antinomianism from Oxford dictionary means One who rejects a socially established morality through believing that the gospel of Grace also includes grace for immoral people in the society. Remember that Jesus Christ gave Grace to one of the thieves that was crucified with him, but does that mean that the thief was not killed for the crime he committed ? The answer is no! So, where then is the Grace that Jesus gave to him? no matter whatever sins you committed thereafter. Bro, that's the height of apostasy, and a very wrong doctrine.wrong doctrine that what? That there is no Grace through Christ? There is Grace through Christ you can't deny that one no matter how morally upright you think you are, except you are not a Christian. But like i have said from what i have posted, we will get that Grace only when we die. And since a Christian suicidist has died, he will receive the Grace to eternal life my brother, There is no scripture that says otherwise For it is written in Mark. 4:4 that only "He that shall endure unto the end the same shall be saved".We are talking about a Christian that died committing a sin like suicide here, not a Christian that has endured being a Christian to the end. The two are different scenario |
Akwamkpuruamu:that what? Explain yourself Do you even understand what the op is trying to explain? |
ejimatic:God will forgive them simply because they believe, and accept them into his eternal glory. God bless you |
TONERO500:You are in the spirit! God bless you for this |
Goodlady:You are saying this based on how you feel it should be, not based on what the scripture says |
Thereishel:Exactly! Very true! It's true that God do not like killing, so is everyone. But if God want to be merciful to such sinners and allow them enter his everlasting kingdom inspite that they died in their sin he has the right to do so. Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. |
Yes |
MightySparrow:You know, God is a spirit and we have to worship him in spirit. The law you mentioned "Thou shall not kill or commit suicide" is physical . Spirit and physical have no connection. John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. In practical terms as it applies, You will also notice that when someone commits murder and he is indicted guilty of the crime in a court of law, if there is any consequences of his action he will face it accordingly in this physical life because the law is physical. No judge who promotes real justice will tell a person in a court of law that he has commit a crime for saying he is not born again or he is not a Christian because the sin of not being born again or a Christian is a spiritual sin, and it requires spiritual judgement not in any human court, but a judgement from God who is a spirit. So spirit and physical has no connection. And when a Christian commit a sin like suicide or any other sin, God who is a spirit will judge him by the spirit, not by the flesh like a court of law will do. Are you getting it now? |
MightySparrow:actually, this is a law that is applicable to this physical life that's why it is very easy to say it. But hellfire or eternal life is something in the spirit where this law is not applied but only the law of Faith which says you must believe in Christ alone Romans 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. |
Let's assume that hellfire is a place everybody will go when they do something wrong. Will a Christian who commits suicide go to hellfire? Why will anyone think that committing suicide will anul all the born again effort he has been living through out his life until the very day he decided to kill himself? Is it so written in the bible? But here is what i saw in the bible. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. That means if you commit sin you will die. In this context, the person who commit sin is the person who refused to believe in Christ. But the person who believe in Christ you will never die, because eternal life is a gift. So, why will anyone think that someone who believes in Christ will die simply because he had sinned by commiting suicide?

Steep:what you people have failed to understand is that Jesus Christ has already planted the seed on earth the day he died and resurrected. He has done everything like that and he is not coming back anymore to do anything. And what he has done by planting the seed of the kingdom through his death and resurrection, will stand on this earth forever and ever, no end of his kingdom. Luke 1:33 |
Steep:do you agree that this earth is already the kingdom like this? Matthew 13:31 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: The kingdom of God is already sown in this field that we are. So this one that you are saying the earth will pass away is not true |
gohf:it's still the same thing. Pastors do disguise under that desire of people willing to serve God or church with all their heart to enrich themselves. Knowing that the people are naive and ignorant of scriptures And here I thought the duty of humans is to obey and serve God, Eccl. 12:13Have you ever wonder why people fear pastors so much that you can't even question them? They put themselves in that position deliberately. They have truly intimidated people by quoting these kind of scriptures to them regularly. God never intended that people should see him and fear. He want people to obey his commandments, that's all. |
gohf:1.Serving the earth does not implies that one should carry the whole earth on his earth. It implies that one should have positive impact in his immediate environment. 2. Everyone are in one way or the other engaged into this, so it's not a big deal 3. Its not everything you do that you will expect reward. But at the other hand, if you serve pastors only pastors will get the reward and you will be left with nothing in the association |
Loosing weight through body exercise and diet checking is a choice and not a sign of poverty. Gone are those days when men takes pot belly as prestige |
UNA LOR WEH ![]() |
Clueless government |
Yes |
rexbuton:You are simply a stupid Christian, mumu! ![]() Whaat? for 5 years of brain washing? Mehnnnn! ![]() Sorry, don't be annoyed that I'm using those terms to describe you. It is simply what it is |
Rubbish fellow, he is on his own |
How do you know that the man has left the faith? He is ignorant but wealthy and perhaps cannot define his course towards practicing his Christian faith rightly does not mean that he has left the faith. Do you even understand the meaning of someone leaving the faith at all?
