I'm so sorry abt last night honey! Heart ws with u bt my attention needed more in my platoon. Not what u think it is cos I cld read ur mind afterwards both in act and look. I'll make it up to u tonyt, at my stand tho.

No doubt camp is fun wen u have the money to spend and the right pple to ball with. bt it get to a point wen u are just bored of experiencing a repetitive adventures within a confined location with acts and will bin regulated by time and rules. I hv had my own share of camp life. A relatively good one at that enough to last me a tale of lifetime. I have lived the kind of camp life I projected for myself. Made friends both males and females here on Nairaland and randomly and even made a female friend who means more than a friend to me(she's beautiful, awesome, and she know herself). Meanwhile straffing in camp ain't as easy as it's pronounced here. They happen maybe, bt at a relatively low rate. Caught one night wit a female corper who ws just lying wit me on me bunk and we went thru hell before we got freed. Thanks to d magnanimity of the soldier who initially threatened to take us to the camp director before he eventually cut us some slack. Discipline in Oyo camp isn't compromised and are diligently enforced by the soldiers. Since then, I vowed neva to nurse an unhealthy intimate ambition wit any lady here on camp till I'm outa here. Enough time for that!

yea babyyyy, first rain in OYO camp! Bt those soldiers no get joy sha!!!! They invaded our hostel with their big sticks and drove every1 to the pavilion. I told one of those angry soldiers who approached me I was having malaria and he left me without suspecting. I stay laid on me bunk while I watched the scene btw the soldiers and the culprits as they frog-jumped in d rain. I laff tire!!!!!

Good morning gentlemen corps members, hw una dey fare? It's bin a mixed thrills here in OYO state. Bt generally, the fun is unlimited at least for me. One amazing fin is it's neva rained since the inception of camp here in OYO state bt the cold tho is unavoidably harsh especially in early hours of d day like this.
Was wit Creamie at mami market last night, she's such a cool, cute, attractive, reserve and taciturn babe who says very little. She looks soft and a bit shy. Coincidentally, she appeared to be a friend/colleague to one of ma best pal on camp who was killing beer wid me last night. Lovely moment wid her tho. It's bin fun wit sure peeps like TLS, Sonny, Dammy, cutiemay and of course my yellow pharmacist chick frm akwa-Ibom state.

Thank God for maami, that's been my "saving grace". can't queue for almost errything in this camp and be queueing for food. -_-. Been selected in my Platoon 1 to march, d rehearsal na die, but the soldier's funnnyyy. Lol. I thank God for every sha. #OyoIseyin camp. .

Tho, I made a quick arrangement to get anoda phone wen I returned frm skul and would av gotten back to you wit my temporary line so u cld reach me on it had ur digit not gone wid ma fone.. Ogbeche77: i had about the sad news of a corper at oyo camp,what went wrong?

boss, it was a very sad occurrence. Yahaya Anas Ahmed with code no. OY/2013B/0428 lost his life in a ghastly motor accident on his way to abuja for an interview he was to attend yesterday after he had succeeded in breaking out of camp without the awareness of any camp official. Prior to dis ugly incident, he made a false claim about his health status so he cld get an express re-deployment to attend that interview. Realizing the re-deployment formalities was against his time, he had to jump the process and break out of the camp which eventually lead to his premature death. May his Soul rest in eternal peace.

i hate edo camp!

it's bin a yl Bukola, Oyo camp is actually a fun place to be provided you've got d money to spend. OOU graduate constitute more than 30% of corpers serving in OYO state. Each hostel room is dominated by OOU graduates and we are keeping it real here.

Edo camp I knw is actually one of the worst camp in Nigeria, u've got to giv urself d best life wit d resources u hv and improvise means to create fun for u. NYSC doesn't end at camp, the location of ur PPA also matters, if u hv d means to influence it, start working on that asap. Hw's d drills so far and hope ur body systems are taking shape?

OYO camp rocks jooor!!!!! I rep platoon8, Member of the first aid team, Assistant social leader, member of d platoon team. It's bin fun frm day1. I've met with 4 members of dis thread and two others on the thread opened for corpers posted to OYO state, male and female and we all rock dis camp 2geda. May I tell u guys i've got a beautiful yellow lady in d camp who's also a member of my platoon. She's super and d camp hv bin fun wid her! Currently chilling 2geda in one of those spot at mammi market as I type dis post And there's dis club in d mammmi market, oh my God na die!!!!
Moreso, I have runnnnnnsed my PPA to the largest city in west Africa, IBADAN.

I'm catching ma fun to d fullest, if u are in OYO camp and u're dull, U ARE WRONG!

@cutiemay, when and from where are you taking off?

@akintaj5, Boss, hw do u consider life in Ibadan for corpers regarding its living standard, opportunities and accommodations. Beside Ibadan, which other LG alternatively measure up to Ibadan standard in terms of exposure, electricity and getting a standard/good accommodation. I hv got d opportunity to influence my posting to any LG of my choice bt I need a proper guide before making dis choice. Tho, I've got Ibadan on me mind and someone already talked me up about Oyo LG. Which u think is best for corpers btw they two? And if there's any beside them, pls provide wit good reasons. Thnks

What if we create a BBM/whatsapp group. This will facilitate quick and easier dissemination of infos, ideas, thots etc. Besides, it'll completely be restricted to OYO corpers alone. We can create a beta n stronger relationships thru dis channel...

Calm down Bukola, Edo state ain't that bad, I'm sure u gon enjoy it. U may not really like d camp. My Ex-girlfriend is currently serving there and she was always giving dis sour comment abt d camp. Tho she did admit life after camp is bin fun n sweet. Btw if u get a good PPA. She said Edo doesn't pay Kobo bt she was able to work her way to UBTH(university of Benin teaching hospital) where she receives 15K besides the federal govt. allowee. According to her, fins are cheap in Edo and it's a gud place for corpers. Just be smart!!! Gudluck dear
