ezenwaez: Lots of Npower Batch C beneficiaries have been blaming the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs, Sadiya Umar Farouq for the delay in payment.
Please the payment has been approved by the Minister and it's at the crucial and concluding stage of validation by NIBSS, once all processes are being concluded all Npower Batch C applicants should beging recieving alert depending on their deposit banks.
All Npower Batch C payments after being approved by the Minister, is being forwarded to the Accountant General, from the Accountant General of the Federation, the approved verified payment list is forwarded to CBN, CBN in collaboration with the NIBSS scrutinizes the individual account of Npower beneficiaries for validity, after validation and the Npower Batch C volunteer account is certified okay, then payment commences.
The delay depends on how fast this processes are being executed by the concerned departments.
Source: https://www.npvn-nationwide.com.ng/2021/11/npower-payment-to-come-from-cbn.html?m=1 Good day. What about people their BVN says invalid but their bank account details are there in the dashboard? |

One bite without any quick response is death. I pray none of us will get bitten by this snake or similar ones that are venomous. Exactly! |
Nairaland General › Gaboon Viper Killed In My Neighbourhood Today by PBeni(op): 7:12pm On Nov 04, 2021 |
I came upon this snake that was killed on my way somewhere today. This is my first time of seeing this type of snake, short and scary looking in real life, Gaboon viper. I learnt this one is not even fully grown.
Modified: see the scary looking head. I learnt one bite from this snake is almost always fatal in this part of the world where anti-venom are in short supply and can kill a full grown human within 30 minutes.

Politics › Re: Anambra Kicks As NCAA Suspends Commissioning Of Anambra Int'l Airport by PBeni(m): 12:31pm On Oct 30, 2021 |
googlepikins: Akwa Ibom airport is controlled by NCAA and FAAN not state government. Maybe you're referring to Akwa Ibom State owned Airline not airport Well, we know NCAA and FAAN will have a presence there but I'm telling you, Akwa Ibom airport is managed by the state government through Ibom Airport Development Commission. |
Politics › Re: Anambra Kicks As NCAA Suspends Commissioning Of Anambra Int'l Airport by PBeni(m): 7:06pm On Oct 29, 2021 |
googlepikins: Guy stay FOCUSED, those bus transporters have no such powers, they have their target market while airlines have theirs.
This is politics at play and federal government trying to show Obiano that they are in charge of the airport.
And they have to tell when the airport will be launched or not.
Airports, Railway and sea Ports are all in federal government jurisdiction.
When we're shouting restructuring, people like Obiano won't take us serious, now he thinks he can control the airport he built, he has to hand it over to FG .
Imo airport is state owned but it's controlled by NCAA and FAAN.
So Obiano is wasting his time waiting for Buhari to come and solve the matter, cos Buhari will listen to his brothers who controls this agencies.
I would be shock if buhari say Anambra can keep the airport to themselves, which is not possible.
This laws are reason why Nigeria is going down by the year. Instead of progressing rapidly. If you build Railways around your state or region federal government owns it.
If you build power plant to power your State, federal government will mandate it to be channel to National grid for everyone to use.
Lagos State have the money to build at least 800MW of electricity so that we can all have 24hrs light. But state government won't bother wasting their time building such projects that federal government will mandate it to be used by everyone in the country.
This 1999 constitution is a death trap. And with the whole world switching off from petrol cars, Nigerian economy is heading into disaster that the country can't handle.
Don't allow any politician fool you, this crude oil thing determines if Nigerian economy crashes or not.
If crude Oil falls below $20-$25 per barrel by that 2030, and this time it's not a question of will it crash or not, it MUST crash, cos the law of demand and supply will come in.
If there's too much Crude oil in the market and lesser people are buying it, the price will drop. Example during COVID lock down it went to almost below $15 Nigerian economy went into recession again.
During COVID, Bonny light, is said to be selling slightly above $16 per barrel and even reported to be sold at a discount of $5 per barrel by Nigerian government thereby causing a serious revenue crisis in the country.
We're heading into disaster and politicians are pretending like they don't know. You have a point but take Akwa Ibom airport for example. It is state owned and it is controlled by the state government. What I see here is the FG trying to show Anambra state government who's boss but it doesn't mean that the FG gets to control Anambra airport in the long run. |
