I was not saying you were among. I meant to report. However it's your blog, right. I take seriou exception to being called a dumbass. I knew you at Ife anyway.

@ Sagamite
I might as well call you a self-acclaimed Encyclopedia. If what i'm quoting was what Becomrich wrote, they you might have to find different meanings for illusion and allusion. "

"Nearly all the people list by sanusi has something to do with pastor adeboye. really some people may say financial supporter.

Cecila Ibru is well know to be a friend of pastor adeboye and most time you would find out around him at the church program including breakfast.

Erastus Akingbola finance some of the church program and his well know by pastor adeboye. Erastus Akingbola is a pastor in a redeemed church."

intellectuals use fact and logic indeed
PoliticsRe: Popular Governor Threatens To Resign by pcicero(m): 7:40pm On Aug 17, 2009
Like what someone wrote, Fashola and Tinubu are not the best of friends now. Even Tinubu had to visit Fashola over the weekend with the media in attendance. Knowing Tinubu, he could not have done that if nothing was amiss. Those shouting PDP need to be abreast of Fashola's magical performance in comparison to Tinubu's style in office.
PoliticsRe: Adeboye Floats Millionaires’ Club by pcicero(m): 7:31pm On Aug 17, 2009
At least people should be reasonable enough to realize the sensitivities of the stuffs they post even on free blog sites like NL. Oga Seun, Jakumo and co took it too far.
@Dayokanu,
Pls don't join the bandwagon.  cool

Your allusions are funny indeed. But please, Sebastian Adigwe and not Nwosu attended CMS Grammar School. I'm an old boy.
PoliticsCecilia Ibru, Erastus And Others Should Seek Turai's Assistance by pcicero(op): 11:55am On Aug 17, 2009
It just ocurred to me that there is only one person in Nigeria who could have saved the five bank CEOs axed over the weekend. Enter Turai Yar Adua, first lady of Nigeria, the all- conquering and omni -potent defacto president.
Turai has not failed whenever her help is sought. She has more powers than anybody over the president. If in doubt, ask the political appointees.
They should avail themselves of this power-monger in Aso Rock. Even when OBJ fails, Turai succeeds. A trial will surely convince them. grin

Is it not Yar Adua's bank?
PoliticsRe: Is Lamido Sanusi (CBN Governor) Pursuing A Hidden Agenda? by pcicero(m): 11:34am On Aug 17, 2009
@ Oyb
He would not replace them with Northeners because that would give him away easily. Moreso, the North has not had some fantastic bankers since consolidation. The question is not who run the banks but who would own them eventually by the time he succeeds with his plan.
If he had remained long enough as FBN 's CEO we would have been able to assess his own managerial capabilities too. Don't forget that some of these people built those banks from nothing.
I am certain they knew he had something  up his sleeves and they played right into his hands. I try not to be parochial  or tribalistic but my hunches in this matter are far too great to be ignored.
PoliticsRe: The Fall Of Erastus Akingbola by pcicero(m): 1:48am On Aug 17, 2009
@ Dayo Coker:
You obviously don't strike me as a sincere person. I don't even believe the name you call yourself. Several things have been written abut the latest debacle in the banking sector. I have refrained from making comments, but your posts are really thought provoking, not for the diction but the length you have gone to run people down. I hope you and your employers (the Northern Oligarchy) whom Dangote, Lamido Sanusi and their ilks represent have had their way?
This particular comment (posted below) gave you away. You seem to know so much than you are revealing. You are part of the scheme.
Sincerely, how much were you paid? What do you and your Sanusi hope to gain from this?
Erastus was right after all. He knew Sanusi's agenda. Shame on you. Your darling Dangote is indebted to Oceanic and Intercontinental banks.

Rather than address the issues raised by several notable pundits including the respected eggheads at Proshare, Dr Akingbola proceeded to the tabloid press where he gave interviews to City People and other magazines. He also launched a smear campaign against Sanusi Aminu Lamido Sanusi, then the chief executive officer of First Bank. This wide reaching campaign claimed that Mr Sanusi was “de-marketing” Intercontinental Bank in order to increase his chances of being made the governor of the Central Bank.
PoliticsRe: Adeboye Floats Millionaires’ Club by pcicero(m): 12:54am On Aug 14, 2009
I guess that was the only thing the reporter heard at the service. i was there and the service was fulfilling. About the toilets and bathrooms, who pays the workers if people don't pay for such conveniencies? I believe the token isn't that much to attract any snide remark whatsoever. As for the so called "Millionaires Club", he didn't say everyone one must belong. He said if you want to partner and if God has put it in your heart to join, then do so. Again, he said he would be having a meeting with such people. I guess the purpose of the meeting is to meet all those volunteers and perhaps assess their individual personalities.
There are people who have and are willing to give to God's cause. It is between them and God. I wish i had because it is a worthy cause. "For what shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul?"
Moreso, there were poor people in Europe and America when some rich people were bankrolling missionary journeys to Africa. Infact, some were slave owners.
I implore us to be wary of things like these and use our minds for other productive issues.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu And Fashola At Loggerheads ! by pcicero(m): 2:53pm On Aug 07, 2009
It can only mean that Fashola has not been playing balls as regards settlement. Oju yobo is at it again. He's a Machiavellian.
PoliticsPower Play In Pdp- Some Major Victims by pcicero(op): 2:47pm On Aug 07, 2009
I was responding to a poster and then thought of this topic. The PDP famed as the largest party in Africa is an interesting assemblage of individuals. But its internal democracy is also an important case study for students of Political Science and Political historians.
Below are some people who have been outplayed or outsmarted by the garrison politics of the party. Take a look at my list and make comments.
OBJ, IBB, Atiku, Lar, Gemade, Ali, Ekwueme (don't mean to disrepect so those tribalists on Nairaland would not start their war), Orji Kalu, Odili, Duke, Dariye, Ladoja, Audu Ogbeh,
PoliticsRe: Bola Tinubu Again: by pcicero(m): 2:39pm On Aug 07, 2009
On a second thought, what would be his motive? Money? So much of which he stole from Lagos? Power? He should ask OBJ, IBB, Atiku, Lar, Gemade, Ali, Ekwueme (don't mean to disrepect so those tribalists on Nairaland would not start their war), Orji Kalu, Odili, Duke, Dariye, Ladoja etc.
he should remain a local champion in AC.

CareerRe: B.a(religions), Where Can One Work With It? by pcicero(m): 4:44pm On Aug 05, 2009
Much has been said about this topic already that the guy that posted the thread would have learnt one or two things.
One, Nairaland as a social network allows all manners of posts and discussions but people should not for the sake of commenting on all issues post irrelevant and unrelated comments.
Two, as Nigerians, most of us who read Religious Studies did not do so as a result of being less intelligent. 95% in my class then wanted to read Law. With merit being just 20% and the rest based on other criteria. I can only leave you to imagine. Our parents were neither rich enough to buy admissions into the highly competitive Govt schools nor being able to afford the new private universities just emerging then. i was honest enough no to have cheated my way in JAMB. (lol, )
For those who wanted to know how i joined one of the big Four Firms, the likes of PWC, KPMG and Deloitte organise recuitment tests for graduates. i apllied through the Newspaper advert, called for tests and interviews and was offered an opportunity. I left for a Telecomm Coy where i joined as a Customer Care Rep like other graduates and rose through hardwork and purpose to become an expert in Telecoms Risk Management.
Only you can change your destiny
